they were just better

I’ve seen that post going around about @victuri-oh-nice-deactivated2017 and I’m not here to hate on her.

I just need to say this. I love Jane. She’s been an amazing friend to me, and has helped me through some shit. I am forever greatful to her. She’s an amazing person, and her fics are seriously some of my favorite.

I love Jane, with all my heart, and consider her a great friend.

Also: this does not mean in any way that I am inviting people to send me hate, or anything. If you don’t know where I stand on any topic, simply message/ask me. Do NOT come into my inbox with hate. And please do not make asumptions. Again, ask me. I will answer.

If you send me anything negative, I WILL delete it. But you are invited to talk to me in a civil way. Thank you.

sorry for being neglectful about reposters of my art lately. im ngl, my mind hasnt been in good places lately and the best thing i thought i could do was withdraw so i wouldnt drag anyone into it. my uni classmates, if any, worse that on me.

im trying to get back into normality (pft , what’s normal with people stealing?) so im back with fighting the reposters.

again, sorry for my lack of response to some of you.

I woke being like ‘fuck why do my shoulders feel so stiff today?’

took me a bit to remember that it’s probably because I fell about 12 feet from the top of the wall into the mats at the gym yesterday. that miiiiight have something to do with it. y'know. just a bit.

I CAN’T BELIEVE ED SHEERAN WROTE “NEW MAN” ABOUT HARRY STYLES

“he spent five hundred pounds on jeans”

“He’s got his eyebrows plucked and his asshole bleached”

“Tribal tattoos and he don’t know what it means”

“And wears a man bag on his shoulder, but I call it a purse”

“Drinks beer, but has a six pack, I’m kinda jealous”

“He wears sunglasses indoors, in winter, at nighttime”

“Now you’re eatin’ kale, hittin’ the gym”

“Okay, enough with the bad sound effects.”

*I didn’t know how to spell out most of what Hunk said, so I checked the episode transcript online, hoping to get an idea but…

if you have been brutally broken,
but still have the courage to be gentle to others
then you deserve a love
deeper than the ocean itself.

for @shiroganesm. i love you.

love doesn’t discriminate between the sinners and the saints
it takes and it takes and it takes

The Day of Story and Song was the day the world nearly ended. It was the day that everyone in the world simultaneously remembered wars of years passed and loved ones long lost and forgotten. Even for those who never knew these people or lived through these wars, they learned everything about them. They heard countless beautiful songs, saw so many incredible works of art, and heard stories beyond their imaginations.

They also learned of a group of seven researchers and explorers and–as they’re known now–heroes who traveled through time and space to a hundred impossible worlds. They were lands inhabited by huge animals, living robots, mushroom monsters. Endless beaches, forests, deserts. Worlds filled with prosperous life to worlds devoid of any. But more important than these worlds were the ones who traveled between them.

The twins, the lover, the protector, the peacemaker, the lonely journal keeper, and the wordless one. The people learned everything about them but their names. How they lived, and loved, and died, and lived and died again and again for a hundred years while they struggled to run from the horrible entity that pursued them.

This entity the people learned of, too. The Hunger. How it hunted and killed these heroes over and over in its mad chase for the light of creation, devouring every world in its path on the way. They learned what it was, how it worked, and they learned of the man in charge: John.

Even with all of this knowledge though, what could the people do but fend the foes they could now see off? The people would only be able to persist for so long against these worlds’ worth of assailants. They had no choice but to put their faith and life into the hands of these seven heroes they now knew as well as if they had known them their whole lives and then some. They put their faith into the heroes and held off their coming deaths for as long as they had to until the heroes came through.

And in the years to pass, the story of these heroes, of this day, of the art, and music, and countless impossible worlds they learned all about is passed on between generations so that everyone who wasn’t there that day to remember would learn.

And of all the things they remembered and learned, the last and maybe most peculiar was the image of a small, crudely but lovingly carved wooden duck.

有缘无分 (yǒu yuán wú fèn) -  “have fate without destiny” refers to couples who were fated to c o m e together, but not destined to s t a y together

Hi, I’m pretty comfy inside my trash can

I am quite obsessed with this musical (watched the movie too but JD and Veronica were just too hollywoody for me). Honestly I wish things could have been different for these two ;n; but JD had to go full on yandere and blow shit up.

The 7/11 scene lol you can see how I gave up in both bg’s XD

A reminder to maybe not throw things at Harry when he’s on stage performing or talking.. :-)

I totally get the sentiment going around that people don’t want Percy to be a god’s champion just because everybody’s doing it, particularly because he’s got such a rough relationship with gods.

But I think that’s because he sought out the Raven Queen first, and the Raven Queen and Percy don’t understand each other. The Raven Queen is fatalistic. In her eyes, humans begin their lives imperfect, march toward their fates, and perhaps they achieve greatness, but they all end the same way: they go to meet her. Percy just doesn’t think in those dimensions. He altered the course of humanity with his invention, and blaming that on fate would be to shirk responsibility. He has seen people defy and defile death time and again. When he pleads with the Raven Queen for a way to fix what he’s done to the world, he is thinking of redemption but also that he lives as long as Whitestone lives, and that the impact of his weakness will matter, will change lives and end them, long after he is gone. The Raven Queen comforts him by saying humanity can achieve great things, but that is no comfort to Percy, whose greatest achievement is arguably the very weapon that killed him.

If there is a god who would understand him it would be Ioun. She’s a goddess of knowledge, an inventor, and like Percy she was betrayed and wounded in the course of invention. Ioun is blinded; Percy’s soul is in tatters thanks to Orthax. She lives in a place of uncomfortable paradox, where all knowledge should be shared for the sake of progress, and secrets are blasphemous, even if that knowledge can hurt or break or kill - but even then, even she has secrets she can’t afford to share. We haven’t seen much of Ioun, but I think she would think like Percy. Not along the threads of fate, like the Raven Queen and her champion, but in an impersonal chemical chain of combination and creation, knowing well the unforeseen impacts of discovery. She despises the aspiring god who took Percy’s family. Her domain is profoundly controversial and unsure. Percy asked his questions of the Raven Queen, and she answered the wrong questions. Ioun has probably asked Percy’s questions a hundred times about herself.

And of course there’s something delightful about the fact that Percy could earn the favour of the goddess that Pelor is protecting.

It’s likely that any number of entities will be fighting over my soul when I die, he says. I know, says the Champion of Pelor, I’ll be one of them.
