Max's vampire s/o really wants to see the sunrise so she goes outside and waits to see it not caring if she gets hurt.

*you do get a glimpse of the sunrise

*but then max sees you and hurries to shield you from the sun

*there’s nowhere for you to go, so he just settles for holding you out of the way and using his body to shield you

*you’re pretty thankful, because the sun hurt more than you had imagined

*”how could you be so stupid? Do you have any idea how I would have felt if something happened to you?”

*he’s angry, and his voice is choked with tears

*he knows you don’t care about your own safety, and he knows he cant make you, but he wants you to know he cares

*he’s not just going to let you hurt yourself over something stupid like that

*max doesn’t even like the sunrise, so you’d plan seems even worse to him

How much will you fools allow Apple to continue to disrespect you? You already let them scam you into buying a phone with no goddamned headphone jack. If you people pay $1,000 for a phone you know isn’t gonna hold a charge….that’s just hoodwinking your own self at that point.

also after the philly show tonight i just want to say a big fuck you to everyone who says “”harry isn’t doing enough” or “that isn’t activism” or claim that we’re praising him too much when it comes to harry holding up the pride flags at his shows, or the trans flags now as well (or any other flag he may choose to wave. i saw a few bi flags there tonight as well). never in my life have i been to a concert where i felt just so universally accepted by everyone there for being queer, both by harry and his band and also by all the fans. when the mini pride flags were being handed out for the project, everyone was so excited to take a flag and thought it was amazing. i saw huge genuine smiles break out on peoples faces. we were sitting on the streets with mini pride flags out all day and no one questioned it. everyone felt free to be open without a worry. do yall know how meaningful that is to me?? people on the street even smiled at it. i saw at least 6 pride flags, big ones, on the line and in the front of general admission. one girl had a pride flag with “treat people with kindness” on it and held it up for harry to see. i walked around with a mini pride flag hanging out of my pant pocket all day, walking up and down the town and i had no concern about it?? i wasn’t scared of what was going to happen, i felt empowered and like i could truly just exist unapologetically as a queer person that day. the event staff took pride flags as well and had them in their pockets. harry was so clearly moved by the fan project to hold up the mini pride flags during sign of the times - i saw him turn to adam beforehand and just whisper ‘wow’ when he noticed. my point is, harry has created the environment in which all of that can happen!! harry created this space where fans can truly just be themselves without a worry and that is so liberating to have?? it matters that he holds the pride flag up so proudly. it matters that he made it a point to bring a pride flag out after it had been wrongfully confiscated. people are getting arrested for daring to bring a pride flag to concerts in other countries right now. so don’t yall dare act like what harry has been doing isn’t important or isn’t a form of it’s own activism and it’s incredible. do you know how moved i was that just… no one cared about people being queer in that room?? everyone walked out of that concert with their flags held high instead of shoving them into their bags and hiding them bc they were afraid to be themselves outside of that room. i saw people empowered to just truly be themselves, maybe for the first time in their lives. i waved the flag out my window as we drove out and people who weren’t able to get a mini pride flag for the project were saddened when there weren’t anymore. yall gotta stop acting like this isn’t some of the most fucking important shit harry has done. creating that strong of a safe space for his fans is an incredible thing he’s done so when yall say “he’s not doing enough” where exactly is he not doing enough??? pull your head out of you ass.

Ashley. Katchadourian. You were supposed to be watching the door. You. Were supposed to be watching the door. You were supposed. To be watching the door, Ashley Katchadourian. Do you know what these are, Ashley Katchadourian? These are a little girl’s arms. A little girl with dreams, with legs, with a head. She’s a pencil. She’s a swizzle stick. You can use her as a pool noodle. And now I’m holding up her arms. Her arms. I’m holding them because you weren’t watching the door. A girl lost her arms, Ashley Katchadourian. A girl lost her fucking arms. Do you not know what has transpired while you were in Pearl Harbor? Seeing the fucking Japanese museum? We had our own Pearl Harbor here today. Oh my God. How could you do this to us? You literally bombed us. Like the Japanese you are. And me, I’m Ben Affleck, I’m Ben Affleck and I’m holding two fucking girls’ arms. And you’re Cuba Gooding Jr disappointing everybody. Live with that.

Okay but lemme hit u with this one.

I’ve seen a lot of really sad posts about the IPRE crew dying early in the year, who dies and what a difference it makes, all tearjerkers of course. What if one year on the last day, Magnus was like “yknow I’ve always wanted to try something.”

While they’re running from the hunger and the ship is blasting away from the planet say, somewhere near the 20 year range, Magnus is nowhere to be found on the ship. They cleared the hunger and they know they’ll be at the next year turn soon, so everything will reset in about 60 seconds.

20 seconds left, Magnus runs into the control room holding a cactus with a pot and needle-like spines, picked up on the crazy plant-currency based world or something, and gets everyone’s attention. He says, “I’ve always wanted to try this,” and just fuckin,, grabs the whole damn thing, bare ass hands right into it.

Magnus jumps in pain- but it’s cut short as the whole crew resets. No needles in his hand and a black eye, he starts to giggle in triumph. The whole crew is just, staring at him in awe and weird fascination, Taako just snickers in the corner already knowing what the fuck is up.

“Magnus what the FUCK was that?” Lup asks with this crazy, breathy sort of laugh having just watched her friend do something so fuckin whack that she was impressed. He managed to find a way around his impulse control, learning how to dodge pain but still get his questions answered.

After that, it’s just new quest after new impulse at the end of every year. After Magnus in his second year of this decided to swallow a really big rock, Lup went next. She fired off a powerful fireball at her left hand, searing the flesh and leaving a bad smell only seconds later for it to reset in the new plane. She claims now she knows how it is on the receiving end, & that fools don’t play with that shit.

Eventually, the rest of the crew are doing some dumb shit while Davenport steers the ship away. Merle always wanted to be choked out by a vine (‘kinky’ Taako whispers to Lup), Lucretia wanted to stab her hand with a pen before she accidentally did it on a mission, Taako decided to cut his long hair off (how would a pixie look LuLu?) and Barry wanted to drink a flask full of acid. They get really disappointed if they die before the years end impulse-party, where they have to hold off on that thing that may/ may not kill them for another whole year.

Eventually, after having been through so many situations of either joy, annoyance, agony, terror, or happiness, they know exactly which form of death would be the least pleasant, as tailored by their own experiences and worst fears. Some of them are easy, Barry is afraid of drowning, Magnus is terrified of being pulled apart slowly, Lucretia is scared of dying alone in the dark. Merle doesn’t gain a ‘preference’, as he ends up dying at the hands of John most of the time. Taako is claustrophobic and Lup hates heights and falling deaths, though she gets over that when she gains her lich form. Davenport fears failure, but the whole team already knew that despite him never having done a single end of year impulse test.

BTS Reaction | Touching yourself beside them

Request; Bts reaction to you masturbating next to them and you think that they’re asleep

Kim Namjoon

Namjoon knew by the way your breathing became more shallow and the small whimpers that you were touching yourself. He had heard those sounds many times before. Rolling over to face you he’d have a smile plastered across his face, playfully teasing you.

Slowly he’d move so that he was on top of you, pinning your arms down either side of your head with a smirk.

“Having all the fun without me? I don’t think so”

Kim Seokjin

Seokjin would think he was seeing things at first, that was until he heard an ever so quiet strangled moan of his name leave your lips. Placing a hand on your hip he’d let you know he was awake, you stopped your movements, face turning bright red.

When you removed your hand, Seokjin’s swiftly replaced your own, fingers finding your clit.

“Princess,  you don’t need to stop, I love hearing you moan for me”

Min Yoongi

Yoongi would reach for your wrist the moment he caught on to what you were doing. He would feel somewhat offended that you would rather pleasure yourself than wake him up, even though he knew you probably did it because of his long work hours and lack of sleep.

Moving so that he was hovering over you, he’d lean down, connecting his lips with your neck.

“I may be busy baby girl, but you know how much I like pleasuring you”

Jung Hoseok

Hoseok would watch you with a small smirk, biting down on his lower lip as his hand slipped beneath the fabric of his boxers, wrapping around his semi-hard length. His eyes never left your body as he watched you pleasure yourself beside him, your eyes clenched shut in pleasure.

Unable to hold back any longer, he’d reach over, tugging your hand from your panties.

“Baby, why don’t we help each other?”

Park Jimin

Jimin would just lay beside you, remaining silent as he watched you. His own hand would move down his body to palm himself through the thin black fabric of his sweatpants.  His breath hitching the moment your eyes landed on his, hurriedly he’d pull his hand away from his growing erection.

Covering his face in embarrassment he’d begin to laugh, going shy after being caught watching you.

“I promise I wasn’t watching you, princess”

Kim Taehyung

Taehyung would be on the verge of falling asleep at first but the soft sounds leaving your lips would catch his attention. At first, he’d think you were having a nightmare. Opening his eyes only slightly to look at you, he’d notice the way your hand was slipped beneath the waistband of your panties.

Sitting up rather quickly he would startle you, making you stop touching yourself in an instant.

“Princess don’t stop, let me watch, I like watching you touch yourself”

Jeon Jungkook

Jungkook would remain quiet as he watched you beside him, despite you thinking Jungkook was asleep he had been awake the whole time.  A small smirk would tug either end of his lips at ever so small whimper of his name that fell from your mouth.

When he knew you were close to your orgasm he’d move to grab your wrist, stopping your movements completely.

“I think my baby girl needs a little help, hm?”

He’s a baby boy.

Harry laughed happily as he landed on the grass. Draco was only seconds behind him clutching the snitch with a massive grin on his face.
“Good one, Draco.”
“Oh, it wasn’t really a good one. Pretty easy actually.” Draco drawled with a smirk.
Harry laughed again as he shoved Draco’s shoulder. “Whatever, that dive was pretty amazing.” Draco’s smirk became a proud smile. “Come on, let’s go eat something. I’m starving!” Harry said.
The smile morphed into a frown. “No. We each won one, it’s a draw. We have to play another.”
Harry grinned at him. “Let’s leave it a draw.”
Draco arched a brow. “Scared Potter?”
Laughing, Harry slung an arm around his friends shoulders. “Yes, scared you’ll pout and ignore me all day when I beat you.”
Draco sniffed. “First of all, I am not so petty. And who says you’d win anyway? So arrogant, Harry.”
Harry laughed and squeezed his friend in a hug. “Yeah. I’m the arrogant here, Draco.”
Draco gently bumped the side of his head against Harry’s as they walked to the castle. “So long as you know.”

On the following Sunday they found themselves trudging through a mountain of homework, much to Harry’s displeasure. Ron and Hermione had gone for a picnic on the grounds, since Hermione always made sure they were up to date on their work. Sighing Harry dropped his head heavily against the couch. Draco, who was curled up in the corner of the couch next to him, looked up with an arched brow. “Giving up already?”
Harry groaned and closed his eyes. “Yes.” He jerked up when he felt Draco flick him between the eyes. “Hey!” He protested, rubbing the sore spot with his fingers.
“You’d better keep going. Don’t think that you can leave it and get me to help you just because Granger won’t let you fly until it’s done.” He went back to looking at his book.
Harry turned to him with wide eyes. “That is a fantastic idea.” When Draco just let out a soft laugh but otherwise ignored him, Harry moved so he could lie leaning comfortably against Draco’s side. He closed his eyes and let out a relieved sigh.
“Potter!” Draco groaned. “I am absolutely not doing your work for you.” But he didn’t move or shove Harry off, which Harry knew he wouldn’t. After several blissful minutes, right when Harry was sure he was on the cusp of a wonderful dream, he fell to the floor as Draco stood up. He pointed a finger accusingly at Harry, “Do some work, Harry. Or we will go to the library.”
Sighing in defeat, Harry sat up and faced his books once more.

Hours later they were sitting in front of the crackling fire eating Bertie Botts beans. Draco was sprawled across a single seat with his legs hanging across the side while Harry sat on the floor with his legs crossed and back against Draco’s seat. Draco had the box of beans and alternated between taking one and lowering the box for Harry.
Ron and Hermione entered the common room with cheerful greetings. Harry appreciated everyone’s efforts to get along, since he knew it was only for his sake, but he did wish his three best friends were more than just polite to one another.
“Did you have a good picnic?” Draco asked them.
“Oh, yes it was lovely thanks.” Hermione smiled at him. Ron nodded a bit awkwardly at him.
“Oh, Harry. You’ll never guess what.” Ron started, and Hermione shot him a suspicious look. “We saw Terry there, he was in the middle of a big fight, seems like him and his boyfriend broke up.” Hermione’s look of suspicion became one of horror as she tugged on Ron’s hand. Harry’s stomach dropped as he willed Ron not to continue. But he did. “So he’s single now, and you can finally ask him out. I know you used to have a massive crush on him.”
Harry closed his eyes, but the thick silence wouldn’t be ignored. He was so glad he couldn’t see Draco’s expression at that moment. There had been a hundred moments when he meant to come out to Draco. It wasn’t that he was embarrassed or anything. It was just that he really enjoyed their friendship. He didn’t know how they’d become so
comfortable touching each other all the time, but he was scared that it would change if Draco knew. He opened his eyes to find Ron looking from him to Hermione with confusion brewing in his eyes. Hermione was watching Draco carefully, which could only mean that he most definitely wasn’t looking at them.
Harry sighed internally. He cleared his throat. “Uh, thanks.”
Hermione looked at him pitifully and quickly started talking about their day, filling the silence as best she could. She asked about how their studies went, Harry responded and Draco said a word or two.
After suffering through it as long as he could, Harry wished everyone good night. He couldn’t bring himself to look at Draco as he left, but let his hand trail along his shoulder as he walked passed.

The next morning, Harry lingered in bed. If he could, he’d avoid seeing Draco all day. Unfortunately, his last class was potions where they were partners. At breakfast he managed to get away with only a smile and a wave since Draco sat at the Slytherin table still. Harry tried hard to focus on his lessons all day, but he couldn’t deny he was nervous to see him.
When he arrived in potions at the end of the day, Draco was already there with all the ingredients for the days potion. He was chopping furiously when Harry reached him. “Hi, Draco.” He said nervously, fidgeting with the strap on his bag.
“Hi, Potter.” Draco glanced up with a small smile. After a few seconds he rolled his eyes. “Are you going to help or do you expect me to do all the work?”
Harry could have laughed with relief, but he didn’t. He gave Draco a grateful smile which was returned with a small quirk of the lips and they got to work.
The rest of the lesson passed in the same manner as the ones before. After, they walked together to dinner and Harry felt relieved. Until he couldn’t find Draco anywhere after dinner. He went to bed with a sinking feeling.

The week passed in the same pattern. The only time that Harry really saw Draco was during potions, his behavior seemingly unchanged. But Harry missed him. After potions on Friday Harry had had enough. As they walked together to dinner he blurted out. “Where have you been all week?” Grey eyes glanced up from the floor to meet his before flickering away. “I can never find you after dinner.” He said accusingly.
Draco answered softly. “I’ve had detention every day.”
“What?” Harry asked, reaching out to grab Draco’s arm. “For what?”
Turning to face Harry, Draco sighed. “You know how it is, some teachers will make up reasons to punish me.”
Harry frowned and opened his mouth to express his outrage when Draco gave him a defeated smile. “It doesn’t matter. Okay?”
Harry deflated. Draco twitched his arm awkwardly and Harry realized he was still holding him. He let go quickly but noticed the blush on Draco’s cheeks.
He deflated a little more.

On Saturday morning when Harry returned from breakfast he found Draco in the common room with his homework. After fetching his own, he sank down on the couch next to him.
Draco shifted to make more room for him.
After working for a little while Draco got up to get a different textbook and settled down again on the single couch. Harry frowned. He wouldn’t have thought anything about it before, but..
He sighed heavily and tried to focus on his work.

The next day he found himself working alone in the library. When he returned to the common room he found Draco curled up on the single couch with a book. He looked up when Harry entered and frowned slightly. “Where were you today?” He asked.
Harry shrugged, struggling to meet his eyes. “Thought I’d concentrate better in the library.” He moved to walk past where Draco was sitting, when Draco’s hand shot out as if to grab his hand but stopped suddenly, quivered in the air for a moment before disappearing just as fast.
Harry hesitated briefly. With a disappointed sigh he carried on walking.
“Harry.” Draco said.
Harry half turned to face him, an eyebrow raised. Draco cleared his throat. “Would you like to go fly for a bit?” Harry frowned skeptically, unsure of what how he wanted to respond. “There’s enough time for at least one game to end our draw before the light goes.” Draco said, smiling uncertainly. And that’s what got to Harry.
“Yeah, alright.” He answered finally.

The walk to the quidditch pitch was filled with awkward silence. At least it was for Harry. Once they were flying though, Harry felt better.
The light started to go quickly and Harry was scanning rather desperately for the snitch, it was the one he had caught in first year and he was rather sentimental about it. A glint of gold caught his eye and he dove toward it. As he neared it he saw Draco coming in from a different angle, slightly ahead of him. He pushed forward, urging his broom to go faster. At the last moment, he realized Draco would get there first and Harry would barrel into him soon after. Unfortunately, the last moment didn’t give him enough time to stop or change direction. All he could do was slow down to soften the impact.
Thankfully they were low to the ground so when they tumbled over one another and onto the grass, it wasn’t too hard a fall. They rolled and Harry landed half on Draco’s chest with a massive groan. Draco was gasping heavily. Harry lifted himself to quickly pat Draco down for injuries and once he was satisfied that he was fine he fell half onto Draco’s chest again. They caught their breath in silence.
It was the happiest Harry had been all week. Until Draco said, “Two one, Potter.” Harry looked up to see Draco clutching the snitch with a triumphant grin. He laughed and pushed himself up onto an elbow.
“You can’t tell me this one was an easy win.” Harry teased.
“No, I can’t.” Draco chuckled and smiled at Harry. Harry smiled back, happy to have his friend back. He noticed the pink tinge on Draco’s cheeks as Draco’s eyes flickered away and he shifted awkwardly. Harry sat up quickly and Draco scooted away from Harry. His heart sank.
Draco cleared his throat, “Well, let’s go back.” He stood up and retrieved his broom. Harry sat there with his knees bent and his elbows resting on his knees, drowning in unhappiness. He wasn’t going to get his easy friendship back. Draco had walked a few paces back toward the castle when he turned around. “Harry?” He said tentatively.
Harry sighed. “I can’t do this, Draco.” He shoved his hands in his hair and looked away, frustrated.
Draco frowned and came back. “What do you mean?” He asked softly.
“I mean I want you to just freak out about the fact that I didn’t tell you and be honest if you have a problem with who I am. I can’t take this dancing around it. I miss you.” He bit his lip to stop himself. After a long pause he looked up to find Draco staring at him in shock.
“You think I have a problem with who you are?” He asked quietly, which set warning bells off in Harry’s head. “You think I’ve been acting strange because I don’t accept this part of you.” He added. Then he laughed, a self deprecating sound that Harry knew well. Draco lifted a hand to his forehead. “Why wouldn’t you? It’s the obvious conclusion.” He laughed again, a little hysterically this time, which broke Harry out of his daze. He stood up and slowly approached him.
“Well, if it’s not that then what is it?” He asked.
Draco closed his eyes briefly before meeting Harry’s eyes. Harry watched a flush creep up his neck as he seemed to search for words. “Well, I couldn’t exactly be mad at you for not telling me when I’ve been keeping the exact same secret.” His cheeks were a deep pink now. Harry’s ears were ringing.
“What?” He whispered, disbelieving.
Draco gave him a sheepish smile. “Sorry.” Harry could only stare at him. Draco swallowed nervously. “Anyway, I was trying to find the right time to tell you about me. But, as you know, it’s not easy.” He laughed awkwardly again. “And somehow knowing about you made my little crush seem less impossible which is stupid, really I know, so I was just giving myself a bit of space to dispel that illusion. That’s why I got detention everyday. I couldn’t focus, I was useless in class.” His gaze was flickering from Harry’s shoulder, his collar to his throat. Anywhere but his eyes. After a fortifying breath Draco added. “Our friendship is important to me. I didn’t want to mess it up.”
Harry was confused. He was shocked. But he knew that that made him happy. He pulled Draco towards him and wrapped him in a tight hug. “I missed you, you idiot.”
Draco melted into the hug which made Harry’s heart soar. They stood like that for a long time. Eventually Draco pulled back, much to Harry’s regret. Harry searched his gaze. “It’s not impossible, you know. Or an illusion.” He whispered.
Draco’s breath caught. Harry smiled at him. “I don’t think.” Harry amended. But as he watched the moonlight play over Draco’s features he thought it was probably extremely possible. Probable in fact.
Draco watched Harry watch him for the longest time. His look of shock slowly abated until Harry was staring at Draco’s trademark smirk. “You’d better not think that counts as asking me out, because my standards are considerably higher than that.” Harry laughed and Draco smiled before adding, “I’m serious.” With that he turned and started toward the castle. Harry scrambled to catch up.
“I’ll write a poem.” He said.
Draco groaned. “Please don’t. I’m pretty set on saying yes. Don’t make that hard for me to do.”
Harry grinned. Feeling bold, he reached out to grab Draco’s hand as they walked forward. He let out a content sigh when Draco laced their fingers together.

The Destiel blanket of 13x01

So… I’m rewatching 13x01 and I just have to say. Wow.

Dabb has no chill.

I know I’ve said this a lot but come on, I mean COME ON Dabb. I watch this episode and see all the other excellent meta and plot points of course, but over the top of it is just this blanket of Destiel that affects pretty much every other meta reading in some way or another but especially around Dean and especially when you put it back into chronological order. You can see how the grief over Cas specifically leads his story forwards in this episode and how this will affect him moving forwards and…I’m just stupidly in love with this episode.

There is an undercurrent of Dean’s feelings for Cas present throughout this whole episode, strongly romantic in the Dean scenes and present as a plot mirror even in scenes that Dean is not in. This is the episode that sets up the season. This is the episode that sets up Dean’s arc for the season and in the future, it takes what has been built in the last 12 years subtextually, textualises it and is the foundation for the season to move forwards.

I just… I want to wrap myself in a blanket but I feel like I have to write about the Destiel blanket over this whole episode that tore my heart out and left me needing my own blanket to curl up in a ball on the sofa so, here goes :)

We have an opening sequence that parallels Sam/Eileen again to Dean/Cas and the music, dammit the MUSIC. Literally in the first few seconds of the season we have “Nothing Else Matters”, a Metallica ballad, referring back to Dean in season 1 and linking it to later aspects of Dean’s character growth. Metallica is a part of his performance facade from 1x04, the “scared of flying so humms Metallica” episode, they then show Dean literally blowing down the metaphorical walls of the bunker whilst “never opened myself this way” plays over the top. I MEAN COME ON!

So, performing!Dean’s facade coming down and parallels to the canon romantic couple (and Chuck dammit Dabb you are bringing Eileen back or so help me).

We end the sequence with this

Just to remind us, you know, that this is Dean’s key emotional drive for the episode and season.

We then start with Jack/Sam and this again, of course

Dean’s face goes from grief to angry determination. He runs in and immediately tries to shoot Jack in the face. This is the set up of his emotional arc over 01-06. He is angry and enraged because of his grief. This is not a good hark back to good old Dean hunting and being badass, this is utterly devastating.

At this point he’s enraged, sure, he can barely say what happened, but he does. Because he still has a smidgen of hope that there could be a way back. He doesn’t want to face the fact that he might be gone for good yet so he’s just angry that he’s dead in the first place and wants revenge on Jack who did this.

So then we have the search for Jack. But after the prayer scene which chronologically happens here, we see the shift from rage to despair after his prayer goes unanswered.

We had grief then rage

And now…hopelessness.

i’ve seen posts talking about how this man with coran

isn’t alfor, but a husband. now, stay with me

we know coran and lance are really good friends, right? and coran already tried to cheer him up when he was homesick. now, what if this — the knowledge of coran’s husband - is what starts lance’s bisexuality arc?

they’re all chilling and one of them asks coran if he had a wife, back in altea 10,000 years ago, and coran is more than happy to answer ‘a wife? no! but i had a lovely husband’ and tells some crazy coran-like stories from their adventures, and while everyone is enjoying, the camera focus on lance’s longing expression, and then he looks down, saddened

later, lance goes to coran to ask him for more stories and asks if back in altea it was unusual, two men together; coran notices his puzzled expression but says nothing, so he happily obliges and tell him some stories (maybe flashbacks?!) and he doesn’t know what lance meant by unusual, since in every planet he’s been, it wasn’t unusual, even mentions some alien races. lance hears everything with a smile on his lips, and when he’s about to leave, coran calls him out and says ‘i don’t know how it is in your planet, but know that we will love you regardless anything, right?’ and lance nods happily and leaves.

Eddie is in love. Richie is staring down him, dark curls enveloping his freckled face, thin lips pressed into a tight smile, adoration in his eyes, and Eddie is in love. Eddie wants to mumble something along the lines of:  “Get off me, trashmouth,” but the words cannot surpass his love-struck mouth. There is a certain look in Richie’s eyes that wills Eddie to stay quiet, hands pressed to hands, bodies flushed. He has never known a love like this before.

Stuff from the Falsettos: In Conversation event!

William Finn, James Lapine, and Stephanie J. Block blew my mind several times yesterday and I wanted to share some cool things I learned about the show!

tl;dr: Falsettos beat Spiderman, Bill Finn and James Lapine should have their own sitcom, aND THE BANANA BELTING MOMENT WAS INITIALLY AN ACCIDENT

  • Packed house in Westport Country Playhouse. It was quite ironic because the event was free, but everyone there was hella rich. Hella. I know this because they started thanking donors at the beginning and there was one family there who had just donated a million. And literally not a single person was a POC. My middle-class Asian ass felt awkward.
  • It was Bill Finn, James Lapine, and Stephanie J. Block, moderated by Andrew C. Wilk (to whom we all owe our lives because he’s the executive producer of Live From Lincoln Center)
  • He told us cool stuff about filming Falsettos. There were ten cameras. He said that bringing all these huge cameras in was like your drunk uncle coming to a party
  • According to Andrew, when it first opened in cinemas, apparently in some markets FALSETTOS BEAT SPIDERMAN?????
  • YESSSSS FALSETTOS THAT’S MY FANDOM
  • Even Andrew couldn’t believe it
  • He was like it doesn’t sound true but I’m going to say it because it feels good to say it
  • And, as I mentioned in a previous post, he confirmed the PBS airdate as October 27 and he said that Falsettos might even have a second run in cinemas.
  • Andrew brought the three in. Audience went wild.
  • He asked them what the main theme of Falsettos is. Bill Finn says that it’s about what it means to be a man (which it seems that the Tumblr fandom has really hit upon in all the analyses, so good job Tumblr!!!)
  • And they talked about casting Stephanie J. Block. Bill said that she came in and auditioned with Holding to the Ground (“which isn’t a very good song,” says Bill) and he had never heard it sound that good
  • Stephanie has a very subtly poetic way of talking about things and it’s really moving?? She described Trina as a woman who constantly has “a well of tears” (she gestures at her throat) right here.
  • I’ve been there.
  • Andrew mentioned how her life is very different than Trina’s–she’s happily married with a beautiful daughter–and he asked her how she accessed Trina’s character
  • She talked about how she had taken a few years away from theater since her daughter was born. When Finn and Lapine called her about Trina to see if it’d be right for them and for her, she felt very insecure and scared going back to performing. The way she put it, in her state at the time, every emotion was at her fingertips. But she drew on this insecurity to play Trina. She said she listened to Falsettos and felt that she knew Trina.

  • Bill Finn is a CHARACTER. Cracked the entire audience up. He communicated almost exclusively in mumbled one-liners
  • When James Lapine was explaining the whole March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland Act I-Act II thing, Bill Finn was like, the first act’s not as good as the second act
  • Excuse me, Bill, both acts are masterpieces
  • So the format of the evening was that they would show a clip from the film and then talk about it, which was so cool. Watching the three of them watching the film was surreal, but one part was even more surreal
  • I’ve never seen that many elderly people in a room laughing hysterically over dick jokes
  • Partway through the event, Bill Finn started complaining about the fact that there were so many Act I clips, and Lapine was reassuring him that the first act was still good
  • I’m like HELL YEAH IT IS
  • He and James were hilarious together; they just bounced off each other and said such complimentary things about each other’s work and they would have full conversations with just their eyes
  • Okay, so we watched I’m Breaking Down, of course. Then Stephanie and James Lapine talked about the process of staging that scene. That was a gold mine.

  • According to James Lapine, the boobs were all Stephanie’s idea
  • James Lapine REALLY wanted to have a dummy bloody finger. He wanted to have Trina chop off a piece of her finger and there would be blood spurting and the audience would be freaking out over whether the actor actually was injured. He was very attached this idea and stuck to it until the very end. Everyone else was like James pls no. Eventually, it had to go because of the possibility of fake blood staining the costumes or set pieces
  • Stephanie warned us that she was about to make a pun but that she had to because it was so good, and then she said “the finger was cut”
  • And she was super proud of herself and grinning at the audience
  • James Lapine tried to high-five her, but she was too happy to see
  • (She finally noticed and high-fived him back)
  • The iconic banana belting moment was an accident????
  • Okay okay so this is a GREAT STORY
  • So y’all already know all about how it’s the actors themselves moving all the set pieces throughout the show. Stephanie says that it was Anthony Rosenthal who had to do most of the moving
  • So if any of the banana pieces fell, it was “poor Anthony” who had to clean them up
  • One day in rehearsal, sure enough, some banana pieces fell
  • Stephanie felt bad and didn’t want to make Anthony clean it up, so she picked them up and freaking SHOVED THEM INTO HER MOUTH
  • BUT SHE FORGOT THAT SHE STILL HAD TWELVE BARS OF THE SONG LEFT
  • When she finished, James Lapine was like O.O do you think you could do that often
  • The rest is history

  • I have so many Bill Finn anecdotes that I don’t know which to share
  • Like I said, Bill would mostly communicate in mumbly one-liners
  • Example: we were about to watch This Had Better Come to a Stop, and Andrew asked Bill to set up the scene for the audience (they explained all of the context for everything in case some audience members hadn’t seen Falsettos)
  • Bill: Whizzer is misbehaving and Marvin gets mad.
  • Andrew (laughing): Is that it?!
  • Bill: Yes.
  • (Lapine swooped in to give a more in-depth explanation)
  • But!! Bill would sometimes suddenly speak up and say something so incredibly thought-provoking
  • They were talking about the unlikability of Marvin, and Bill talked about how a professor he had at Williams said that Jane Austen made Emma so unlikeable so that we could learn to like her
  • And Bill said that he listened
  • We finally got to Act II (Bill was very happy about this) and we watched the baseball scene.
  • Apparently, James had said to Bill that they needed a group number with everyone in it. At that point, Bill had already written the entire baseball scene in his notebook except for a few final chords, and he was like oh here you go I already wrote one.
  • James: When were you going to give me this?!
  • Bill: When you needed it?
  • And Bill talked about what he referred to as the “handball scene.” James apparently staged the thing before Bill even wrote it.
  • James: Bill, that was racquetball.
  • Bill: Oh, I thought it was squash.

  • BILL GOT JAMES LAPINE SO CONFUSED ABOUT THE LESBIANS FROM NEXT DOOR
  • Andrew was asking about the Lesbians from Next Door and Bill was like, the lesbians are actually from In Trousers
  • And James had this wait hold up facial expression and he said, I didn’t even know this. Who were the lesbians???
  • And Bill was saying Ms. Goldberg and the high school sweetheart and by then, James Lapine looked like the galaxy brain meme
  • James was like, but that’s just the actors, not the same characters, right?!
  • Bill said yeah they’re completely different characters and James looked very relieved
  • James: We’re great together. On our own, we’re a disaster.
  • Stephanie was talking about how she feels like as a young woman, she didn’t have the life experience to appreciate the complexity of Bill Finn’s story and lyrics:
  • Stephanie: “I liked to tap dance and put on red lipstick and make people happy with musical theater.”
  • And suddenly Bill Finn yells, “ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!”
  • Imagine the kind of person who could write both “BITCH BITCH BITCH BITCH FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY” and “this here is love when we’re talking face-to-face,” and you’ve got a pretty solid idea of Bill Finn
  • I know I haven’t talked about Andrew Wilk enough, so I’m going to reiterate here that we all owe our lives to this man. And he was so sweet and charismatic. I love this man.
  • Near the end, they talked about us!!! The Falsettos fandom! Stephanie said she wants to call us kids, but she knows we’re teenagers and people in our twenties. She lovingly called us a cult and talked about all the banana memorabilia she has received and talked about how the cast sees pictures of us going to the cinemas in 80′s clothes/dressed as the characters. Stephanie thinks it’s so great <3
  • Stephanie says that she’s not sure she’ll ever do a show as important as Falsettos again. She says there are so many wonderful shows, but in terms of “important”? It’s hard to find.

  • The final scene they showed was Jason’s Bar Mitzvah and What Would I Do? and it was too much. You could hear people crying softly.
  • The last half hour was Stephanie doing a mini-concert (accompanied by the Falsettos conductor/pianist Vadim Feichtner!) and when she belted, I thought the back wall was going to blow off
  • She sang a bunch of gorgeous songs, interspersed with her talking about what these songs mean to her, but among them were “Don’t Rain on My Parade” and Holding to the Ground” (FIGHT ME BILL IT’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER) and “Defying Gravity” (Wicked is the show that got me into musical theater, so this was really special to me) and I cried
  • An absolutely beautiful evening.

  • Post-script: without announcing it or anything, they very quietly set up a signing with Stephanie in one corner. I spotted the table coming in, so I went to check it out afterwards, and SURE ENOUGH THERE SHE WAS.
  • I was literally the second person to get there and there was no line behind me because people hadn’t realized yet. She signed the hand-out I got at the cinema (asking me who she should make it out to and addressing it to me in her beautiful swoopy handwriting!) and I told her I went to see Falsettos six times and she said, “I miss it every day, (my name). Every day.” And I asked her very hesitantly whether it’d be okay to get a picture with her, and she instantly said, “You ready?” Hence the selfie I posted last night. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT.

That was my day in Falsettoland!! I hope this stuff was interesting :) I love this show so much and I just wanted to share the cool stuff I learned!

A/N: Teen Wolf is and forever will be my favorite show of all time. Actually, no. Scratch that. In Dylan’s own words, Teen Wolf will always be my home. I love it more than anything in the world. It puts the brightest smile on my face and the most beautiful tears in my eyes. I cannot tell you how emotional I am about it ending. There is not a day that goes by where I don’t either watch an episode, watch multiple edits, read fanfic, etc. Teen Wolf is apart of my daily routine and it ending is never gonna change that, but it’s definitely gonna hurt knowing I won’t see Scott and Stiles in new situations or Derek and Stiles bickering about the smallest of things or even Lydia being the smarty badass that she is, ever again. I’m heartbroken about the end but at the same time, I think it is the perfect time to end it. The Teen Wolf world has been apart of my world for many years now and although it’s time to… I’m never saying goodbye. I will never let go of this world and this writing community I’m lucky to be apart of. As the last episode of Teen Wolf approaches, I want y’all to know I will not stop writing about, and forever loving, my favorite characters from a small and chaotic town called Beacon Hills.

Tears formed in her eyes as she stared at the beautiful Stiles standing in front of her, the young man wearing the sexiest suit this world has ever seen. She tried forcing them away by focusing on her wedding dress that fell just before her knees instead of him, but there was no use. (Y/N) was bound to cry on her wedding day anyway, it was simply inevitable.

The pack surrounded the two, everyone having their own variations of emotion evident on their faces as they gazed enchantedly at the happy couple before them. They couldn’t have been happier. Finally together in a situation that wasn’t full of supernatural threats or people trying to kill them, but was actually full of complete happiness. Scott smiled at them, his little dimples invading his cheeks as he announced they could now say their vows. With her own smile invading her red lips, (Y/N) turned around to grab the paper Lydia was handing her. The redhead was wearing an adorable short green dress that matched her gorgeous eyes, which also had tears in them funny enough.

“Thank you.” (Y/N) nodded at her before turning back to Stiles and taking a deep breath. “Mieczyslaw,” She began and everyone around her chuckled, her soon to be husband included. “I vow to help you love life, to always hold you with tenderness and to have the patience that love demands. I vow to speak when words are needed and to share the silence when they’re not. I vow to be the light in your life when all you can see in darkness. I vow to live within the warmth of your heart and always call it home. It doesn’t matter what happens in the future, you are forever in my veins and I love you.”

As she spoke, (Y/N) could see Stiles’ eyes gloss over and he did a damn good job holding back his tears, something she herself was unable to pull off. Although, on the inside, Stiles was completely melting. He was finally marrying his best friend and he didn’t know how to properly react to it. Instead, Stiles took (Y/N)’s hand and kissed the back of it, his tender lips lingering on her skin before he turned around and got his own vows from his father.

“Well, you just set the bar really high.” Stiles joked and laughter echoed in the school’s halls. “(Y/N), I vow to fiercely love you and all your forms now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once-in-a-lifetime love and always know, in the deepest part of my soul, that, no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we’ll always find our way back to each other. It doesn’t matter what happens in the future, you are forever in my veins and I love you.”

Stiles stared into her eyes so powerfully that (Y/N) could feel his love for her just through his gaze. With the hand that wasn’t holding her vows, she brought it up to her cheeks and wiped away all of the insane amount of tears rolling down them. It’s a good thing the young bride was wearing waterproof makeup because if she wasn’t, she would look like a really hot mess right now. Not that it would matter, Stiles would still think (Y/N) looked beautiful anyway.

“Do you take each other as spouses, forever?” Scott asked, the gaze between Stiles and (Y/N) never breaking.

“I do.” Stiles nodded, his lips smiling.

“I do.” She cried.

“Then, by the power vested in me by the state of California and the internet, I now pronounce you-” Scott suddenly stopped when the school’s dismissal bell rang loudly in the halls, telling the whole pack that classes were over and high school students were going to start piling out of their classrooms. “Shit, I know pronounce you man and wife. Kiss each other quickly!” Scott panicked as they noticed the doors begin to open.

The entire pack began running towards the big exit as Stiles and (Y/N) hurriedly leaned in to kiss each other rapidly. It didn’t last any longer than three seconds as the adrenaline took over their bodies and they ran as well, but the two wouldn’t have it any other way. They wanted to marry their best friend in the exact same spot they first met each other and even if it meant having Coach Finstock yell at the top of his lungs that they were intruders as he chased them down the halls, it would be worth it.

Their friends were already out in the parking lot when Stiles and (Y/N) reached the exit, Coach right on their tail. Hand in hand, Stiles led them out of the school and she prayed to God that her veil wouldn’t get stuck on anything and yank her back only to get caught by Coach. Thankfully, that didn’t happen and they were able to run towards Stiles’ jeep.

“I love you guys, but come on!” Coach yelled when he realized he wouldn’t catch the former high schoolers and stopped at the doors. “You’ve already graduated, stop coming back to the school!”

(Y/N) giggled with Stiles as they watched everyone else enter their cars and hurry away. Stiles quickly opened the passenger door for her and she jumped in before he shut it to run towards his side. (Y/N) couldn’t contain her laughter and excitement as Stiles entered the baby blue jeep, his hands already fumbling to shove the keys into the ignition and drive away. They only allowed themselves to breathe again when they were on the road and far away from Beacon Hills High School.

The new wife couldn’t help but look down at the wedding ring now prominent on her finger that Stiles had put on her right before they announced their vows. Her heart swelled and she could feel how tight her ribcage had become. (Y/N) looked over at the man she can now officially call her husband and that feeling of needing to cry returned. Stiles was her everything and with this ring on her finger, she could now show the world. Another smile graced her lips as she thought back about the time someone asked her to describe her home and she started talking about Stiles’ hair color, the sound of his velvet voice, the taste of his tender lips, how much he makes her laugh with his sarcasm and how his silky skin feels like on hers — until she realized they had expected to hear a place.

“Am I really that handsome that you can’t stop looking at me?” Stiles sported a cocky smile, occasionally breaking his stare off the road to look at her.

“Yes.” (Y/N) bit her lip.

“I’m more than meets the eye.” He joked. “I’m not just a pretty face, you know?”

“I know, Sarcastic Stilinski.” She nodded, leaning in and placing a daring hand on his thigh. “You also have an amazing body.”

Stiles couldn’t hold back his laughter, but his voice definitely caught in his throat when (Y/N)’s hand moved a little higher. She ignored his lack of self confidence and relished in how damn sexy her husband was instead. She moved her lips to his neck and placed lingering kisses all over his goosebump covered skin. Stiles shivered at the incredible feeling of her skillful mouth sucking beautiful bruises into his neck. Normally, he wouldn’t let her mark him because of how uptight the bosses are over at the FBI but considering they are officially on their honeymoon, Stiles didn’t give a single damn. He wanted his wife to mark him so much, the only color you would be able to see on him is purple.

He pulled up into a red light and stopped the car. As soon as his foot was off the gas, Stiles’ lips were on hers. He kissed her fully and passionately, the proper way they should’ve shared their first kiss as a married couple. His lips completely enveloped hers, her moan vibrating through their mouths. They were so lost in the kiss, they didn’t even remember to check if the traffic light had turned green. They only found out just when Stiles’ tongue slid across her bottom lip and the car behind them honked their horn loudly, interrupting the newly weds’ little moment. Stiles sighed but pulled away to drive. (Y/N), however, didn’t stop her little antics.

Her lips moved to nibble his earlobe as she inched her hand closer to Stiles’ crotch. There was already a semi-hard bulge there just from her teasing alone and she only found out when her fingers grazed across the area. (Y/N) smirked against his earlobe and took it further into her mouth to suck on it before her hand gently massaged his bulge. Stiles couldn’t hold back the groan that erupted from his throat, the sound shooting straight through (Y/N) and directly into her core. To her, there was nothing sexier than the sound of Stiles enjoying the dirty things she did to him.

“Are you liking this, baby?” She asked, her hot breath lingering on his ear and turning Stiles on even further.

“A little too much.” He answered honestly.

“Then you’re gonna love this.” (Y/N) teased as she unbuckled the belt around his waist and pulled down the zipper. Unbuttoning his pants was the last thing that kept her from him before she slipped her hand past the waistband of his boxers and into the area he desired her the most.

(Y/N) held in her groan at the delicious sight of the dark and curly hairs of his happy trail, but Stiles couldn’t hold back his moan as she palmed directly over his cock. She returned to kissing his neck and his breathing became unsteady, (Y/N) pulled down his pants and boxers just enough to expose him to her. This time, she didn’t hide her moan and the sound made Stiles’ cock twitch in her hands. (Y/N) wrapped her hand around his shaft, her thumb caressing his tip, as the car suddenly swerved. She started turning her hand in and out to give him a full erection, not that he needed any help in that department. Especially when a beautiful woman he now has the right to call his wife was currently jerking him off in his jeep. Her pace was slow and Stiles could feel himself get harder with every thrust of her hand. The car swerved even more, actually beginning to enter the lane beside them this time.

“Pay attention to the road.” (Y/N) stated through a smirk, loud horns echoing around them and telling Stiles to turn back to the correct side of the road.

He straightened up and took a breath, driving back to the previous lane. “You are such a tease and this is a terrible idea, kitten.”

“Don’t pretend like you’ve never fantasized about this before.”

“Oh, I definitely have.” Stiles confessed. “I’ve fantasized about pretty much everything with you.”

“Well, now you have the rest of your life with me to bring those fantasies to life.” She smiled before unbuckling her seatbelt and leaning her face down to his lap.

“F-Fuck,” Stiles reacted, realizing what (Y/N) had planned for their little get-away. “Is that such a good idea?”

“Do you want me to stop?” She asked just as she wrapped her warm and wet mouth around his sensitive tip, her hand still moving up and down his shaft.

“Shit.” He grunted, his head hitting back against the headrest. “No. Keep going, kitten.”

(Y/N) smiled through her eyes as she looked up at him lovingly, her tongue swiping the precum leaking from his slit. Stiles’ knuckles turned white at how hard he was gripping onto the steering wheel and it took everything he had in him to keep his eyes on the road and not closed. The new wife hollowed her cheeks around his swollen tip and his moans grew even louder. It didn’t matter if he was expressing his thoughts in a pack meeting or if he was getting head in the comfort of his own jeep, Stiles is and always has been a very vocal person. And (Y/N) fucking loved it. She absolutely adores how loud Stiles can get when she’s giving him pleasure, it’s one of her favorite things about her husband.

Stiles couldn’t hold back when he let out the most sincere and animalistic groan, one of his hands flying to grab her hair. He tried so hard to keep his eyes open as (Y/N) sucked his tip like it was the tastiest damn lollipop she had ever put into her mouth. Which, to be honest, wasn’t exactly far from what she was thinking in her mind. She had given him blowjobs plenty of times in their relationship, yet there was something so inexplicably special about giving oral not to your boyfriend but your husband. Stiles massaged her scalp with his fingers and when she moaned around him, he knew he wasn’t going to be lasting very long.

“Fuck, kitten, that feels so damn good.” He moaned with her, bucking his hips at her vibration. “I think I’m going to blow my load pretty soon.”

She giggled around his member and quickened her hand’s pace moving up and down his thick shaft, the tip of her tongue flicked on the underside of his head continuously. Stiles screamed considering she was currently paying attention to the most sensitive part on his penis, his grip on her hair tightening in reaction.

“God, this is so amazing.” Stiles moaned uncontrollably, telling her in details how good she was making him feel. Another set of proof that Stiles could never keep his thoughts to himself, not even now.

(Y/N) felt him throbbing inside of her mouth and she was growing greedy, wanting him to shoot his hot liquid down her throat. Stiles’ hips jerked the second she removed her hand and took all of him in her mouth, his tip lodging itself in the back of her open throat. His face scrunched up in pure pleasure as he involuntarily thrusted into her mouth. (Y/N) put her hands on top of his to let him know she wanted him to take control, which he gladly did.

Stiles pulled her hair to guide her head as he fucked her mouth like there was no tomorrow. Her tongue constantly slid against the prominent vein on the underside of his cock, his thighs contracting and releasing as they reacted to the intense pleasure on their own. He gripped her hair tightly, but he knew she didn’t mind it, in fact she fucking loved it. One look at her was all the incentive he needed to cum, her eyes boring into his with such fire it could light up an entire house in flames.

His hips stuttered until his entire body froze as his dick released all of the load inside of him. White hot strings of cum spurted out of his tip and found a new home in her wet mouth. (Y/N) gladly hummed around him and swallowed all he had to offer as his eyes faltered for the slightest second and closed shut. They were too busy relishing in their own varied forms of pleasure to notice that Stiles’ foot had unknowingly pressed harder on the gas.

When she was done cleaning up his tip with her warm tongue, (Y/N) pulled away from his cock. A string of saliva mixed with leftover cum the only thing connecting them together before it completely broke. Stiles’ chest rapidly rose and fell as he breathed heavily, (Y/N) wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She pulled his boxers and pants back up into place. She buttoned and zipped it again before buckling his belt back.

Just as she looked up to expect seeing the hazy pleasure on his face, she found him with his eyes closed instead. (Y/N) didn’t even have time to shout for him to open his eyes again nor see what was coming in front of them before the jeep suddenly crashed into the car that had stopped for a red light in front of them. The collision was harder than anything they’ve ever seen, Stiles’ eyes finally opening. There was fear and horror evident in them as he was forced to watch the next actions take place right there in front of him.

With the jeep crashing into another car, inertia harshly jerked their bodies forward. Thankfully, Stiles was wearing his seatbelt which secured him and allowed him to only hit his head brutally on the dashboard. However, I couldn’t say the same for (Y/N). Her lack of a seatbelt a few moments before seemed like a good idea, but right now it’s what ultimately will change her life from this day on.

(Y/N)’s body flew forward and right through the windshield. The eerie sound of glass shattering and distant cackles of her bones breaking filled the air. She was knocked out as soon as she crashed through the windshield, the impact slowing her body’s speed enough to let it fall limp on the jeep’s hood and not out into the street. Stiles’ lost all feeling and his brain immediately shut down at the sight of his broken and now bloodied wife out on the hood. Just as he opened his mouth to call her name, the airbag released from its confines and smashed into his wounded head — the blow strong enough to knock him out as well.

What happened next was a blur of ambulances and police cruisers rushing to the scene, flashing lights and loud sirens unnoticed by the unconscious couple. Sheriff Stilinski had immediately been notified about the sudden accident and he was there in a matter of minutes. Only to have his heart break as he was forced to watch paramedics pull (Y/N)’s completely wounded body onto a cot and begin to check for any signs of life. He was sure he was gonna have a panic attack any second now, but the only thing that kept him sane was knowing that Stiles was already being rolled into an ambulance and rushed to the hospital to take care of his concussion.

“Wait a second!” A paramedic shouted and Noah immediately approached him, noticing he had two fingers placed on her neck. “I feel a pulse! Get her to the hospital! Stat!”

The paramedics hurried her to an ambulance as well and the Sheriff jumped in with her as they desperately drove to the hospital. He took this time to call Scott and Lydia first, his son’s and his wife’s greatest best friends. Malia and Derek were called next. Everyone getting hit with the devastating news and dropping everything to meet each other at the hospital.

(Y/N) was rushed into surgery for the broken bones that could possibly start piercing vital organs soon and Stiles rushed into intensive care. They did all kinds of x-rays on him and realized that Stiles was going to be just fine. (Y/N), on the other hand, wasn’t. He was released just a few hours after he woke up from the concussion, but she was put into a comatose state.

“Why put her in a coma for so many days?” Stiles asked when he returned to see her the day after he was allowed to leave the hospital.

“Your wife’s CT scan showed intracranial hemorrhaging.” The doctor explained and even though Stiles could never be as smart as Lydia, he definitely knew what that meant. “You don’t have to worry too much about it though, your wife will be okay. We purposely keep patients with traumatic brain injuries in a comatose state in order to calm their systems and allow the brain time to heal itself while the swelling subsides. And then we slowly wean them off of it.”

“And how long will that take?” He questioned, worried.

“About five days.”

The news was horrible for him, but he thought to himself that if (Y/N) could power through almost dying in a car accident and actually be strong enough to live then he can spend five days waiting for her. He visited her every single day in those five days, always bringing her flowers and little cards to keep himself sane. The pack was there with him for all of those days as well. Giving him all of the support and love he needed to get through this hell. He hated seeing her unconscious, knowing that it was his fault she was in this state. Of course it wasn’t his fault, but Stiles had a bad habit of always blaming himself.

“Hey, today’s the day.” Scott softly celebrated once they finally reached the day the doctors would wake her up. “She’s gonna open her eyes and the first person she’ll see is you, a smile will already be gracing her face when she does.”

“I almost lost her, Scott.” Stiles stated, tears welling up in his eyes.

“You’re right. You almost lost her.” Scott replied. “But, she’s alive and she’s gonna be okay. The doctor said no physical traumas are left in her brain. She’s completely healed.”

“What if there’s any collateral damage?”

“Jesus Christ, Stiles stop.” Scott grabbed his shoulders to shake some sense into him. “Now, I want you to go in there and tell the doctors you’re ready. You got this.”

“I got this.” Stiles took a deep breath looking into his brother’s eyes then peering around to the rest of the pack. They were all there. Sheriff Stilinski, Lydia, Malia, Derek, Kira, Liam, Mason, Isaac, Jackson, Ethan, Deaton, and even Peter. Everyone loved (Y/N) more than anything and each and every one of them were worried about her. Not to mention how they were there to support Stiles who was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Stiles smiled at them and they all gave him the encouragement he needed to walk into (Y/N)’s hospital room. He sat down on the seat beside her bed he had grown well accustomed to over the past week and he pulled out her wedding ring from his pocket. Stiles slipped it onto her ring finger and leaned in to place a kiss on her forehead. Once he pulled away, Melissa entered the room with a kind smile on her face.

“Are we ready?” She asked and Stiles nodded. With a syringe in her hand, she put its content into (Y/N)’s IV after approaching it. When finished, Melissa threw the empty syringe away and turned to speak to Stiles. “Okay, she’s gonna be a bit groggy so don’t crowd her. Let’s give her the space she needs right now, alright?”

“Alright.” Stiles agreed as he focused on her eyelids subtly moving until they finally opened. Stiles could feel his heart jump into his throat and pound against its walls as her eyes immediately fell on his. “H-Hey. My God, it’s so good to see you.”

“(Y/N)?” Melissa called and her eyebrows furrowed. “It’s okay.” The nurse reassured, noticing how lost the young woman was feeling. “(Y/N), you’re in the hospital right now. You were in a car accident. You hit your head but you’re going to be just fine. We kept you asleep for a little while. How do you feel?”

“My head h-hurts.” She stated through a croaky voice that hadn’t been used in a while and yet, to Stiles, it was the most beautiful sound because he was hearing her speak again and that’s all that mattered.

“That’s perfectly normal.” Melissa answered. “Don’t worry, I’ll get you something for that.”

(Y/N) winced as she nodded and stopped to return her stare back on Stiles. He expected the smile to appear on her lips just like Scott said it would, but for some reason it didn’t.

“Was anyone else hurt, doctor?” (Y/N) asked looking straight into Stiles’ eyes.

The heart that was pounding in his throat stopped and he could feel it instantly drop down to his stomach.

“Uh, (Y/N). You know who I am, right?” He asked, starting to feel panic creep up onto him.

“Yeah.” She nodded. “You’re my doctor.”

The heartbreak that Stiles was just forced to endure was no less than a fucking hurricane. The devastation he felt was absolute, his entire heart and soul completely torn apart. All of the memories prior to losing his mother crashed down on him harder than ever before. Leading up to her death, Claudia couldn’t tell the difference between reality and nightmare anymore. She couldn’t tell the difference between who were the real people in her life and who were the monsters. Because of that, the lines began to blur and she couldn’t even recognize her own son. The pain Stiles had to go through then returned and it broke him.

“(Y/N),” He called, touching her arm but she instantly flinched away. “I’m your husband.”

Her eyes widened in absolute confusion as she stared at the stranger in front of her. Yes, her mind was cloudy and she couldn’t think straight but (Y/N) definitely did not remember ever getting married. Especially when she was so young. The man that called himself her husband looked at her hand and she followed his gaze, a gasp immediately escaping her lips at the sight of a gold wedding band on her ring finger. She closed her eyes and she racked her brain for any memory — any small glimpse of him — but she simply couldn’t remember. In fact, the last thing she did remember was her life right before she moved to Beacon Hills sophomore year in high school.

“I don’t remember you.” She confessed.

Stiles got up and left before he broke down crying in front of her. The young man rushed to the wall at the end of the hall and rested his head on it, slamming his fist repeatedly on the wall. Stiles cried as if he were the one suffering with the brain trauma, doctors and nurses passing by couldn’t help but feel tears well into their eyes just by the look at the distressed man without even needing to know why he was crying in the first place.

Melissa eventually heard the cries and she immediately recognized them, calling Scott and Derek to follow her towards him. They found him sitting on the floor with his knees up to his chest, his hands gripping his hair in frustration. The sight was enough to get the three crying just as much as him.

Like approaching a wounded deer that would immediately run away when noticed, the three approached Stiles slowly and carefully. Thankfully, he didn’t try to leave. He let them kneel in front of him and he lifted his head to stare at them, uncontrollable tears rolling down his flushed cheeks.

“You’re right, she didn’t have any physical traumas.” Stiles sobbed, his voice croaking. “But, she definitely had psychological ones.”

“What are you talking about?” Scott asked. “Is she scared or something?”

“She lost her memory, Scott.” Stiles answered, his heart breaking even more just at the announcement. “(Y/N) doesn’t remember who I am.”

The shock wasn’t like anything they’d ever experienced before. It wasn’t just about empathizing for Stiles’ pain anymore, now they felt it along with him. The four looked at each other and they shared the dread together, no words were needed to be spoken.

“It’s like the ghost riders all over again.” Stiles commented and Scott’s heart broke remembering the time that he couldn’t. “But, there’s no supernatural cure this time.”

“She doesn’t need a supernatural cure.” Melissa spoke up. “Look, a brain injury isn’t like a broken bone or a laceration. Brains are much less predictable. Sometimes, due to the way the swelling tissue presses against the skull, it can cause some impairment-”

“Some impairment?!” Stiles interrupted her, hysterical. “Melissa, she doesn’t fucking know who I am anymore!”

“Even though she’s awake, the swelling can cause confusion, erratic mood swings or memory loss.” Melissa continued, ignoring his outburst. “Let the swelling subside and she’ll remember you.”

“What if she doesn’t?”

“Stiles, you have to give her the time she needs. The days will pass by and she’ll start seeing little things that’ll immediately trigger her memory. Don’t panic just yet.”

“It’s actually kind of my job to freak out before anything happens.” Stiles commented, wiping away his tears.

“This time it’s not.” Derek stated. “This time you’re the one who needs to lead us all.”

“How am I supposed to lead everyone when I’m on the verge of permanently breaking down? She’s my anchor! I don’t know how to do anything without my anchor!”

“Stiles,” Scott called his attention to him. “Be your own anchor.”

Explaining everything to (Y/N) was nothing short of a disaster. To learn that you have lost your memory isn’t exactly something easy to take in. She didn’t understand anything that was going on but she was induced into trusting her nurse whose name she learned was Melissa. The one who called himself Stiles, which to (Y/N) was a very funny name but kept that thought to herself, visited her in the hospital every single day as she was forced to stay another week. (Y/N) didn’t know what to make out of that, but she especially didn’t know what to feel when he started bringing her flowers, bears and pictures of them together. He thought the pictures could possibly trigger her memories, but instead they triggered a sense of panic inside of her.

More people came to visit her as the days went on by and she couldn’t recognize any of them. She was scared of the people who loved her, unable to deal with the intensity of their emotions. Most of the time she felt lost with not a single place feeling like home, not a voice to comfort her mind with their familiarity or a set of warm hands she would allow to hold her own. (Y/N) hated that she was disappointing the people who so clearly cared about her, but she was too overwhelmed by it all.

The day she was released was the most intense. Apparently she had no family living in this town they called Beacon Hills — well no family other than her husband. She wants to please him, to recall something of him but there simply isn’t anything there. It’s so strange to her, that someone could know her so well and she couldn’t even return the favor. However, it was decided that she had to go home with him. (Y/N) was terrified at first, but one look into the man’s warm eyes was all she needed to know he had a good soul.

“You okay?” Stiles asked, looking over to his wife sitting in the passenger side of the jeep finally fixed after two very long weeks in repair. She was gazing around the jeep, taking it all in as he drove. It was the first time since she had woken up from her coma that something actually felt familiar.

“I can’t explain it, but this jeep oddly feels like home.” (Y/N) announced and Stiles’ eyes widened at the news.

It’s not just the jeep. I’m your home too. He thought to himself, a stinging pain invading his heart.

“That’s because you’ve been here so many times, it’s simply become apart of you.” Stiles answered.

“No, it’s more than that.” (Y/N) shook her head. “It’s like it ties me to something else that feels like home.”

“S-Someone.” Stiles said before he could stop himself. “Uh, me to be exact.”

“So, you’re my home?” She asked.

“Well, it’s what you said to me in our wedding vows.”

“Wedding vows.” (Y/N) thought aloud to herself. “Jesus, I never actually thought I’d get married some day.”

“To be honest, neither did I.” Stiles chuckled.

(Y/N) looked at him and despite the terrible situation they were in, Stiles looked calm. “What’s our story?” She asked him.

“What do you mean?” He looked over at her before returning to the road.

“How did we fall in love?”

“Well, we met at school in not exactly the most conventional way and that made us become instant best friends.” Stiles explained. “You thought I was funny and I loved how you always laughed at my jokes, something no one else around me did.”

“You’re funny?” She questioned, smirking at him.

“I’m one hundred and forty-seven pounds of pale skin and fragile bones. Sarcasm is my only defense.”

“Alright, Mr. Sarcastic Stilinski.” She joked and Stiles almost wasn’t able to handle her calling him the nickname she gave him since the moment they met. He smiled uncontrollably, his happiness suddenly spreading to her. “What?” (Y/N) laughed.

“That’s your nickname for me. You created it when we first met.” Stiles announced and (Y/N) couldn’t help but smile even wider.

It wasn’t exactly a memory, but it was a small part of her resurfacing and that made her heart swell with excitement. The car ride was light and happy as they approached a large and very tall building, no other words needed to be exchanged. They didn’t want to ruin the good mood and decided to let the radio fill the silence instead. Once Stiles parked the jeep, the two jumped out and walked into the building. Stiles led her into an elevator and in a matter of seconds, they walked out of it and approached a large door. The young man pulled out a set of keys from his pocket and unlocked it before sliding the door open.

She walked inside and her eyes explored it all. The living room and the bedroom were one big room together, no divisions in between the two. And there was a spiral staircase to what (Y/N) assumed lead to a kitchen upstairs. Here was another place she suddenly felt familiar to. It wasn’t as strong as the jeep, it was like a cloudy dream, but she definitely felt like she’d been here before.

“I’ve been here many times as well, haven’t I?” (Y/N) questioned, looking back at the young man currently sliding the door closed.

“Yeah, you have.” Stiles nodded, walking towards her and for the first time, (Y/N) didn’t shy away. “This used to be Derek’s loft, but he gave it to us as a wedding gift.”

“That’s one hell of a wedding gift.” (Y/N) pointed out.

“Well, he’s a very close friend of ours and he doesn’t even use this place.” Stiles shrugged, putting the keys back in his pocket.

“Derek is the one with the scruff and the leather jacket?”

“Yes,” Stiles chuckled. “That’s our sourwolf.”

“Sourwolf?” (Y/N) questioned, cocking her head to the side in confusion. Stiles held back the need to widen his eyes as he realized he just dropped a really huge bomb on her at literally the worst time.

“Y-Yeah,” He stuttered, saying the first thing that popped into his head. “You know how people like to call each other puppies? Well, we like to call him a wolf.”

“Because he’s like a puppy but too strong to be considered just that so you call him a wolf?” (Y/N) tried to make sense of it and Stiles was glad she came to her own conclusions.

“Exactly!” Stiles sighed in relief.

“Hm, well that sourwolf is very handsome.” She commented, beginning to walk away to explore some more, and Stiles’ jaw dropped.

“Hey, I’m your husband here!” He called, his voice echoing in the loft along with her chuckle.

“I know, Stiles. It’s just an observation.” (Y/N) walked up the staircase.

“That’s one hell of an observation there.” Stiles sassed, following her up to the kitchen. He noticed her looking to the fridge and pushed away his jealousy to focus on what she needed. “Are you hungry?”

“A bit.” She confessed.

“Okay,” Stiles nodded, walking to the fridge as he nodded for her to sit at the table. “Sit down, I’ll make us something to eat.”

“Thank you.” (Y/N) answered, taking a seat.

“You don’t have to thank me.”

“Right.” (Y/N) nodded. “Because you’re my husband.”

“Correct.”

Stiles quickly got to work, pulling out ingredients left and right to make her the most delicious meal he could ever try to. He wasn’t exactly the cook in the relationship, but he wanted to impress her anyway. (Y/N) watched him as he roamed around the kitchen, putting together their dinner. She smiled to herself, noticing just how lost he looked and she quickly realized that she was the one who probably cooked more often.

“Can I ask you something that’s been really bothering me since I found out your name?” She asked and Stiles stopped to nod at her with furrowed eyebrows. “Why did your father name you Stiles Stilinski? Was he trying to get you bullied in school?”

Stiles immediately burst into laughter and (Y/N) smiled with him before he finally caught his breath to speak. “My name isn’t actually Stiles.”

“Oh my God, you’re an imposter!” (Y/N) stood up, scared. “Who the fuck are you?! Who’s the real Stiles?!”

“No, no,” Stiles approached her, his lips still smiling. “Stiles is just a family nickname. It’s what people call me but my real name is actually Mieczyslaw.”

“Miec- what?” She questioned, unable to pronounce it.

“Mieczyslaw.” He repeated.

Her eyebrows furrowed at him. “I’ll just call you Stiles.”

“Fair enough.” Stiles chuckled as they both returned to their previous posts.

“Stiles, how did I get into a car accident?”

“Actually, we um, we were in the accident together.”

“Why didn’t you get as hurt as I did?” (Y/N) asked and Stiles swallowed nervously.

“You weren’t wearing a seatbelt.” He answered, avoiding any other information. Although it didn’t work because like the (Y/N) he has always known, she kept digging.

“Why wasn’t I wearing a seatbelt?”

“Y-You, um, you took it off to focus on something else.” He gulped. “But, hey, dinner’s ready!”

Stiles grabbed plates from the cupboard and quickly put them on the table, then he went into the drawers to grab forks. (Y/N) noticed his change in demeanour and decided to wait until he was finished setting the table and sitting across from her to ask more. When he did sit down and relax, thinking that she had moved on from the topic he quickly realized she hadn’t.

“What was I so focused on that was more important than keeping my seatbelt on?” She asked and Stiles sighed.

“Look, (Y/N), you don’t want to know right now.” He answered. “Just eat your dinner, okay?”

“I do want to know, Stiles.” She pressed. “Or is that even your real name?”

“It’s not, we’ve been over this.” He laughed.

“What was I doing?”

“Something really explicit. Are you sure you want to know?” Stiles questioned, extremely nervous, and she nodded. “You were, um- You were giving me a blowjob.”

“Hm,” (Y/N) thought aloud. “Interesting.”

Stiles was perplexed, shocked even. He expected her to be horrified and completely grossed out about the idea of giving a stranger head, instead she wasn’t. She seemed almost intrigued by it.

“Was I any good?” She asked.

“What?” Stiles asked, caught off guard by the question.

“Am I good at giving you blowjobs?”

“Y-Yes,” He nodded. “You’re very talented at it.”

“Cool,” She smiled and Stiles didn’t know how it was possible, but he fell even more in love with her.

~

“So, we all went to highschool together?” (Y/N) asked the group of people currently sitting with her on the floor in the middle of the loft.

As soon as they had finished eating dinner and Stiles showed her around, hoping to God she would see something she recognized and remember him but unfortunately didn’t, the pack all came piling into the loft to visit them. They wanted to see the girl they all loved so much healthy and out of the hospital. They sat in a circle on the floor, sharing many stories that involved her to hopefully get her to remember. So far, it wasn’t working.

“Well, I didn’t.” Derek pointed out.

“You were always at the school anyway so shut up, Derek.” Stiles spat and (Y/N) held back her laughter, knowing he was still a bit pissy about her calling Derek handsome.

“Jesus Christ, Stiles.” Jackson complained at the human. “Lighten up a little.”

“No.” He pouted, crossing his arms.

“Why not?” The part kanima part werewolf pressed.

“I don’t need to tell you. The answer’s no and that’s that.” Stiles huffed. “You want to hear it in-”

“I don’t want to hear it in Spanish, Stiles.” Jackson rolled his eyes.

Scott looked at his best friend worriedly. They were both sitting across from (Y/N), but you could tell how much Stiles wanted to sit beside her. Instead, Lydia and Malia took that place. The alpha werewolf could see how hurt Stiles was, still not over the fact that his wife doesn’t know who he is. Not that that’s something easy to overcome, but you’d think Stiles would have hope she would remember him again. The thing is, Scott didn’t spend the entire afternoon trying to get passed the invisible wall between them like he did. Stiles showed her everything from the lacrosse hoodie she loved wearing so much to the aluminum baseball bat he would take everywhere with him, but nothing triggered any of her memories. The frustration was starting to get to him and he couldn’t help but think he would never get his wife back.

“Stiles, it’s been one day.” Scott leaned in and whispered to his brother. “She needs more time.”

“But, it’s not even about time anymore, Scott.” Stiles turned to him, his eyes desperate. “I showed her everything we own, everything I own and they all mean nothing to her. She remembers the jeep without actually remembering it but still we’re not moving forward. There’s nothing physical that ties her to me in her mind.”

Scott didn’t know how to respond, I don’t think anyone would know how to respond to such a tragic thing actually. He gave Stiles a squeeze on the shoulder and, suddenly, he felt the emotion underneath him with just a single touch — pain. Stiles was in pain. With tears prickling his eyes and looking around to make sure (Y/N) was too engaged in her “new” friends to notice the two, Scott placed his hand on Stiles’ arm and took away some of his pain. Stiles’ own eyes welled with tears as he watched the black veins appearing on Scott’s hand, drawing away the pain Stiles didn’t want to have anymore.

“Thank you.” Stiles blinked away his tears and Scott gave him a small smile that was full of so much emotion.

“You’re my brother.” Scott nodded, finishing up and retracting his hand. “I’ll always be here for you.”

The two went back to the conversation the group was having and realized they were talking about how Stiles and (Y/N) live in Derek’s loft now. How the place that used to be completely empty aside from a bed, a couch and a table, actually looked like a home.

“That was (Y/N)’s doing.” Stiles announced. “She decorated the whole place and made it proper to live in.”

“I did?” (Y/N) smiled, looking around the place and thinking to herself that she actually had really good taste.

“You did.” Stiles stared longingly at her.

“You know.” Peter spoke up and grabbed all of their attention. “I used to live here, (Y/N).”

“With Derek?” She furrowed her eyes.

The former alpha nodded. “I’m his uncle.”

“You guys look nothing alike.” She chuckled.

“I know.” Derek intervened. “I’m much better looking.”

She tried to hide it, but Stiles definitely noticed the blush on her cheeks as she smiled. He growled internally at the sight, his jealousy returning stronger than ever.

“So, where do you live now?” (Y/N) asked them both.

“I live in South America actually.” Derek answered. “I’m just visiting for the time being.”

“What about you, Peter?”

“I live in an underground network of-” Peter started his sentence, but (Y/N) immediately drifted off when a scene suddenly played in front of her eyes.

“In an underground network of caves hidden deep in the woods.” A very relaxed Peter answered, his legs up on the coffee table as he leaned back on the couch.

“Whoa, really?” An unknown voice asked behind me.

“No, you idiot.” Peter rolled his eyes, chuckling. “I have an apartment downtown.”

It was the first of many scenes that began resurfacing in her mind, all of them involving Peter. Everyone in the room noticed something was different with (Y/N) as her eyes darted back and forth and they looked as if they weren’t focused on anything in the room, Peter stopping his sentence. Scott and Stiles exchanged glances, wondering if what they were thinking was happening, was in fact happening.

To answer your question, yes, she was remembering. The little infamous Peter quote was enough to trigger every single thing he’s ever said when around her. All of the memories she had of Peter were returning all at once. The ones from when she first found out he was the Alpha to when he saved her in a fight she didn’t understand why she was apart of. Every other face was blurred except for Peter’s.

“You have an apartment downtown.” She announced, smiling ecstatically. “You’re Peter Hale. You were an Alpha werewolf but were killed by someone that looked like a blur. You started out evil, but you changed. You became a good man. You went to hell and back because you couldn’t decide if you wanted to have me killed or save me. But, now, now you’re good. You’ve redeemed yourself.” (Y/N) felt proud herself for finally having a memory triggered. “I remember you.”

“W-What about me?” Stiles asked, suddenly standing up. “When he told us that he had an apartment downtown, I was there with you.”

“Y-You’re the one that believed he lived in caves?” (Y/N) furrowed her eyebrows, remembering what was said but not who said it.

“Yes! You remember me!” Stiles eyes gleamed with hope.

“No, I-I don’t.” (Y/N) shook her head, feeling bad. “You’re not in the memory, not even your voice. It was muffled and I couldn’t recognize it. I only saw Peter, I’m sorry.”

“That makes no sense.” Stiles answered in frustration. “How do you remember a memory I’m in but not remember that I’m in it?”

“You’re just a blur.” She replied, getting overwhelmed with how intense he was suddenly being.

“No, you remember me! Just focus on that day, okay? Who asked where he lived? It was me! I did. Try to remember.”

“I-I can’t.” I scrunched my face, trying.

“Try harder.” He pleaded.

“Stiles, I think you should stop.” Scott warned, noticing how scared she looked.

“She remembers me, I know she does Scott.” Stiles shook his head sternly. “You got this, (Y/N).”

“I don’t.” (Y/N) panicked. “I only remember Peter.”

“Think about that day. You’ll remember me.”

“I don’t remember you!” (Y/N) shouted at the top of her lungs, deciding she had enough.

The air in the room immediately became intense and everyone stopped breathing, their hearts aching at the scene in front of them. Stiles and (Y/N) had been in love practically from the moment they met and to see them forced into this tragic situation was hard on every single one of them. When (Y/N) looked into his eyes and saw the pain behind them, she realized her yelling had hurt him more than her forgetting.

“I-I’m sorry.” She apologized, tears forming in her eyes at her outburst. “I’m sorry, Stiles, I-I didn’t mean to.”

“No, it’s fine.” Stiles cried along with her, he took a step to approach her.

“I’m sorry.” (Y/N) apologized again. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”

Before he could say anything else, (Y/N) ran up to the kitchen to hide. He knew she going there to cry and if he chased after her right now, it would just overwhelm her even more. With his heart falling into an abyss, Stiles stayed downstairs.

“Are you okay?” Derek asked, being the first to break the awkward silence.

“I will be.” Stiles nodded, wiping away his tears.

“Hey, she fell in love with you once.” The sourwolf shrugged. “She can do it again.”

Stiles’ head lifted and he looked at one of his best friends in hope. He was suddenly optimistic, something no one else in the pack expected to see after what just happened. Stiles, for the first time in a long time, had faith.

“You’re right.” Stiles smiled. “She doesn’t remember the memories we shared together, so I guess we’ll just create new ones.”

Okay that Derek's soft hands post was awesome, but it was funny too cos like, imagine if his hands aren't actually that soft? My uncle's been working roadworks for years and a few years back he started buying Dove soap instead of the cheap brand and he loved it so much he started buying the moisturiser too and like, at least twice a day he would lather moisturise the shit out a them then go around telling everyone to feel how soft his hands were. But they still felt like sandpaper and no one (1)

would say anything because he’s this big, rough as guts dude named Spike who was in prison for years and god help whoever tells my uncle who loves to linger in the health and beauty aisle to see the different moisturisers, that they aren’t doing jack for his hands.

Sorry for the very late reply to this! Now all I can imagine is Derek who tries to pamper himself with lotions and potions but no matter what he does, it never seems to work out? No matter how much he tries to make himself feel soft and good, it always backfires. It’s either got an ingredient that make his senses go hay-wire (apparently aloe-vera is the worst) or it just doesn’t make him feel better. Derek imagines it’s a similar feeling to when people expect amazing sex, only to feel unsatisfied after. Derek’s never expected amazing sex from anyone though, not even Kate when he trusted her, so he doesn’t know if the comparison is all that accurate.

It’s after he tries the Peaches and Cream Ultra Lotion that he hits rock bottom, sitting on the loft floor, staring at the offending lotion bottle. He’s pretty sure the right hand side peach is taunting him. For the smoothest skin, reads the speech bubble. Derek rubs at the pads of his fingers and tries not to get upset because it’s a fucking lotion. But here he is anyway, drowning in the after math of yet another lie.

He doesn’t know how long he sits there for but it’s long enough that Stiles shows up, armed with a bat. At first, it’s clear Stiles thinks Derek is hurt - probably because he is still sulking on the floor - but the moment he crouches in front of him, he immediately takes in the lotion bottle and raises an eyebrow. Derek expects him to laugh or throw some careless comment his way. Braces himself for it. What he doesn’t expect is for Stiles to pluck the bottle from Derek’s hand and replace it with his own. He holds it loose enough that Derek could pull away if he wanted to.

He doesn’t want to.

Instead, he sniffs. This big, loud, wet sniff that he wants to be embarrassed about. Except, he isn’t. Maybe it’s because he’s seen Stiles give himself a concussion from a chicken baguette once (he still doesn’t know how Stiles managed that one) or maybe it’s because Stiles is smiling at him; smiling in a way Derek rarely sees. It’s the smile he reserves for his dad, for Scott. It’s a smile you earn, and it’s being directed at him right now. It’s a smile, Derek realises, Stiles has shown him often. For months now. He doesn’t know what that means.

He squeezes Stiles’ hand anyway, shrugs a shoulder and picks up the lotion bottle again. Grips it. Hard.

It explodes, and before he knows it, they are both on their sides, laughing. Derek doesn’t know if Stiles is laughing because he is or because they are both covered in pink gunk.

“It smells like peaches,” Stiles wheezes, as if that explains everything. “Derek Hale. Likes to smell like peaches.” He clutches his side harder and uses his legs to push himself further into Derek’s space, until his head is in Derek’s lap. “I think you’re amazing just as you are, wolf man, but if you want my mom kept recipes for stuff like that.” He nods to the now broken bottle, still in Derek’s hand. “They are all in a box under my bed. You want to come over later, get some dinner with me and my old man? There’s a Mets game on.”

Derek is silent for several moments, trying to decipher what Stiles is saying. Eventually, he decides not to overthink it. If he overthinks it, Stiles might take the offer back. Might drop his hand.

Derek really doesn’t want Stiles to drop his hand.

“I can make veggie burgers.” He coughs. Serious. “From scratch.”

Stiles smiles with his eyes, brings Derek’s hand up to his mouth but doesn’t kiss it, like Derek thinks he’s going to. Just looks down fondly, like they’ve done this a hundred times before. Shit, maybe they have, he thinks, swallowing. In their own way. “You learn that in werewolf school?”

Derek laughs. “Something like that,” he says, thinking of his Grandma, who taught him everything he knows: cooking, sewing, how to swear in eight different languages. When she was old enough, Grandpa Hale taught Laura how to drive while Grandma Hale read The Princess Bride to Derek in Spanish every Friday night. Derek always thought he got the better end of the deal.

“Show me.” Stiles grins, a challenge, and somethings shifts inside Derek. He tries to frown, because it’s expected of him, but he ends up blushing instead when Stiles leans up and whispers, “next time, I’ll get you one of those aprons that say kiss the cook on them, huh?” in his ear. “I think you’ll find I’m very good at obeying instructions.”

Derek rolls his eyes and pushes him away. His palms are sweating. “You don’t even know what the word ‘obey’ means.”

Standing up, he starts towards the kitchen, only to find himself on the floor again, tripping over nothing, when Stiles calls after him, “maybe I just need a firm hand to keep me in check!”

The bastard doesn’t even look sorry when Derek pounces on him, pinning Stiles’ hands above his head - rough hands, just like his, he realises- but Derek is too busy torn between wrestling Stiles and kissing him to care.

“Hey.”

“Hey, stranger.”

“Sorry I haven’t come by sooner, I was…”

“Busy fending off a throng of reporters and being a full-time parent?”

“Yeah.” Oliver huffs a short laugh, stealing a shy glance at the ground, as all the weight of the day visibly slips from his shoulders. She likes him like this, more innocent and carefree, where it’s no longer Mayor Queen or the Green Arrow or more recently a worried Dad standing in front of her…it’s just him. Just Oliver. Just her Oliver.

“I won’t hold it against you. Come on in.”

She holds the door open for him as he steps inside, his arm carefully dodging her shoulder, but that doesn’t stop a thousand goosebumps from breaking out over her skin in anticipation. As she shuts the front door, Felicity steals a quick glance of her own at his back because wow. While she loves Suit Oliver in all of his various…well, suits, it has been ages since she’s seen Casual Oliver. And honestly, seeing him standing there in full-on casual black and that jacket that she swears is framing his jaw really well, looking so at ease in her apartment…what used to be their apartment…it’s bringing back a lot of old memories mixed with new, tingling hopes stirring in her stomach.

Oliver spins to regard her in return, wearing a strangely nervous look. It’s then that she notices the small box with a white bow in his hands. “I uh…I was gonna wait, but I just…” He sighs, pausing, watching her like he’s waiting for her to stop him. And when she doesn’t, he finally says, “I brought you something,” holding the box out to her.

“Oh. What’s this?” She takes the box from him, wanting to reach for his hand, too, but he pulls back before she can.

“It’s just a uh…a present.”

“I can see that. You know, it’s not my birthday for another several months,” she teases him with a smile.

He doesn’t quite smile back, but there’s a hint of mischief behind his eyes now. “I know. This is different.”

Felicity frowns at his serious voice, watching him cross his arms. Uh oh. She knows that move. He only does this when it’s something big, something important. “Okay.”

She hesitates, her fingers hovering over the lid, playing with the plastic bow. Her heart starts to hammer against the walls of her chest with a new ferocity, like it somehow already knows what’s inside.

Swallowing once, she finally lifts the lid and finds nestled on top of a cotton square…a silver key.

“It’s a key,” supplies Oliver, his voice sounding very far away and warped, like she’s suddenly trapped inside a fish bowl.

Felicity stares in awe at the little object shimmering in the dim lighting, calling out to her. Slowly, she picks up the key, feeling the cool, wonderful weight of her future pressed against her palm.

“I know we’ve talked about it, and you’ve met William, and he seems to really like you. And this doesn’t mean that you have to move out of your place or anything, I just think…”

His voice sounds much closer now, and she glances up to realize that he’s standing right in front of her, his hands finally reaching out to hold her shoulders, drawing her closer, drawing her home.

He licks his lips. “And if this is too fast then–”

“Oliver, are you sure?”

He sighs again, only this time it’s a gentler sigh, a contented sigh, a hopeful sigh. His gaze grows intense yet familiar, and oh she’s missed that look most of all. Even after five months of taking things slow, after being engaged to this man once, she’s still getting used to him looking at her like this–like she’s the only thing in the entire world that he wants. She’ll never be used to it. She couldn’t look away from him even if she wanted to. And she doesn’t want to.

“I’m sure of one thing,” he says, his voice so deep it sends a warm feeling straight down her gut. “I love you, and I want us to be a family. All of us.”

“Me too.”

Trapping the key in a fist, Felicity reaches for Oliver just as he lowers his head down to her. Thank you, she says through the kiss, her lips gently pressed against his, re-familiarizing herself with his taste. But Oliver changes the angle quickly, deepening the kiss, his hands coming up and around her, pulling her close, his fingers pressing deep into the muscles of her lower back.

Felicity feels herself losing focus, her grip around his neck loosening…. She fumbles in the haze but manages to set the little box down on the counter, freeing her other hand to join the one still tightly clasped behind his neck. Her fingers sweep into his hair brushing against his scalp.

Seconds seem to bleed into minutes, and she doesn’t know how long they stand there like that, holding each other, remembering and relearning and learning afresh what the other person feels like…

A loud clang startles her, and Oliver pulls back, breaking the kiss, though she doesn’t let him go too far.

Realizing she must have dropped the key, Felicity breathes against his open lips, “It’s fine. I’ll get it later.”

And then she kisses him again, openly, fiercely, desperately. This kiss is different than the one before, taking on a life of its own, like the one they shared in this very spot years ago, when they first moved in together. It feels right that they should find each other again in this way. Felicity clings to him, his body still so warm and solid and familiar. How is he always so warm?

After what feels like too brief a time, though, Oliver pulls back again, breathing heavily. He keeps his eyes closed, as he presses his forehead against hers. “Felicity,” he whispers. “Can I ask you a question?”

“If the question is can you stay the night, the answer is yes.”

He laughs, giving her a short and more chaste kiss. “Are you sure?”

She nods.

“Besides,” Felicity nips his lips again. “I don’t expect to be staying here much in the future. We better make the most of it.”
