Thirty-four hours.

It had been thirty-four hours since you’d yelled at Jungkook and he had left your office. It had been thirty-four hours since you’d collected yourself after shattering your phone set into pieces and ran out of your office looking for him. Jaebum told you with a dejected frown that Jungkook had left. Where to? His guess was just as good as yours, if not worse.

You ran out to your car, the chill of the night air biting against your bare arms and cheeks, but you’d be lying if you said you felt it. You went at a crawl through the streets, stomping down on the brakes and squinting to make out the face of each and every pedestrian you past who resembled Jungkook in any way. You had even called out to a few of them, earning you nothing more than odd stares or blatant ignorance. You didn’t believe he could have gotten very far, but after two hours of driving, there was no sign of him.

The hospital’s visiting hours were long over, which cut that out as an option. And it took a persuasive conversation and a few slow swipes of your tongue across your painted lips to convince the security guard of Jungkook’s apartment building to tell you that no one had come in or out since six that night. He’d left your building much later than that.

You returned to the building, your jaw aching from hours of clenching your teeth and your eyes downcast, staring at nothing in particular. Jaebum greeted you, and before he could get the chance to ask you what had happened, you held your hand up to him. You were tired of questions, you were tired of explaining things. But, mostly, you just didn’t want to relive the truth of the matter–this was entirely your fault.

[L/N] = your last name

The first time that Peter Parker lied to you was over the phone. You had just gotten ready for the date you had both planned as a post-midterms celebration when the familiar tune of your ringtone graced your ears. At the sight of Peter’s Caller ID, you had managed to grin before picking up.

“I’m absolutely starving, Parker.” you greeted, taking a seat on your bed and tucking your left leg under your right. “You better have made reservations at the pizza parlour because you know how busy they can get on Fridays,” you added, and when Peter said nothing, you raised an eyebrow. “Peter?”

“I’m here,” he assured you since it sounded like he wasn’t present in the conversation at all. “I’m here, sorry,” Peter mumbled his apology before taking a deep breath, one that you could hear even over the phone.

“Are you okay?” you inquired, immediately noticing the edge in his voice. “What’s up?”

“I’m so, so incredibly sorry that I’m doing this to you,” was what Peter chose to lead with. “But I can’t make it tonight.”

For a moment, you the nervous feeling in your stomach turned into disappointment, but you shook it off quickly, knowing that there was always a good reason for Peter’s cancellations. “That’s okay. What came up?” you asked. “Is everything okay?”

“Everything’s fine, don’t worry about it.” something about the way Peter was speaking — perhaps it was the way his usually nonchalant voice seemed strained — made you immediately come to the conclusion that he was lying to you.

“Peter,” You began slowly, putting a smile on your face, knowing that this would make your voice sound less worried than you truly were. “If there’s something going on, I’m not going to hate you for telling me. I’d really rather know than, well, not know.” you paused, giving Peter a minute.

“It’s nothing, I swear. Just some emergency stuff came up with Ned and I really have to be there for him is all.” Peter lied so smoothly that you almost believed him, but the waver in his voice when he swore he was telling the truth was enough to expose his fibbing.

“Alright,” you allowed yourself to frown. “Well, I hope everything’s okay with Ned. Let me know what happens when you can, okay?”

“Of course, love you!” and with that, Peter hung up the phone. You were sat on your bed for a moment, phone pressed to your cheek before you realised that he was gone. You lowered your phone onto your bed and sighed, glancing around your room, digesting the conversation you had just had with your boyfriend. Things with you and Peter were still relatively new, going on roughly five months, but you had known Peter since the beginning of high school, which was over a year and a half ago. In this time, you had really gotten to know Peter and his quirks, including what he sounded like when he lied.

Deciding that you still deserved some sort of post-midterms treat, you reached for your phone again and dialled Michelle’s phone number as you pulled off your black lace-up heels.

“Hey, Y/N.” Michelle greeted you, her voice slightly more vibrant than usual. “I thought you were going out with Peter tonight?”

“I was,” you confirmed, getting to your feet and comfortably pacing your room. “He just cancelled though, so I’m all free! I was wondering if you might accept a stray into your Friday night plans?” you asked hopefully.

“Well you know how I feel about taking in strays, everyone’s welcome,” Michelle continued your banter. “Actually, Ned and I were just going to get something to eat so why don’t you join us?” This made you frown.

“You’re heading out to eat with Ned? Like, right now?” you questioned slowly, letting it sink in.

“Yeah, we’re on our way out, but we can totally meet up with you! Ned scored us a table at that pizzeria that we all like by promising that we’d be there in at least twenty minutes. Are you up for that?”

You paused. “Yeah, totally.” you agreed. “I’ll meet you guys there. And Ned’s good?” you asked, making sure that you weren’t imagining things.

“He’s pretty jazzed that midterms are over and his deteriorating test-stress has finally been demolished,” Michelle said, and you heard Ned loudly protesting over the phone. “We’re all good. So we’ll see you in twenty?”

“See you then.” you agreed before bidding Michelle farewell. You hung up and frowned, the idea that you had about Peter lying confirmed. If there was an emergency with Ned, why would he be going out for pizza with Michelle? Suddenly, the combination of your lace camisole top, skinny jeans and leather jacket seemed a little too dressed up just to get pizza with Ned and Michelle. Going on a date with Peter allowed for the camisole and heels, but dinner with friends didn’t seem like it needed as much special effort.

Frowning, you stripped off the leather jacket and began to rummage through your closet in order to find a replacement for the camisole, choosing a Nasa t-shirt — which you were certain belonged to Peter — and pulled that on instead. You opted for a pair of old sneakers and pulled the jacket back on before grabbing your bag and phone heading out the door to meet your friends.

Imagine skipping class with Chris. (Part B)

A/N: Part 3B! Oh God, I was going to wait till tomorrow but I’m just too excited! I’m really happy with how this one turned out. You can read the previous parts here: (Unexpected Reader - Part 1/Part 2/Part 3A) Enjoooooy! X

Burbank; that was where Chris took you after breakfast in the cute little corner bistro you loved so much. He took you all the way there to give you a tour of Marvel Studios as well as introduce you to some of the people from the industry you were dying to be apart of. He even managed to get you a quick meeting with the very busy Kevin Fiege, who- thanks to Chris- promised he’d give you a meeting when you graduated from UCLA; an offer to which you squealed at the second you thought Kevin was out of earshot. He wasn’t, and it explained why Chris Evans would go through so much trouble for a girl people said was, “just a fan he met an airport.” You were sweet and humble and passionate, and Kevin wouldn’t be surprised if months later he’d heard Chris ended up dating you. The two of you clearly had a lot of chemistry, and he wasn’t blind to the way Chris looked at you; it may have been subtle, but it was definitely a look of love.

Love.

A strange concept; love. It could either be the simplest of things, or the most complicated. Unfortunately for the two of you, it was the latter. Neither of you wanted to admit anything, due to fear of getting hurt. That was the thing about love, despite how wonderful it could make a person feel- there was also the chance of ruining an entire being. A wrong move, a poorly chosen word, bad timing- all of these were factors capable of tearing a soul in pieces.

Chris couldn’t do that to you, he couldn’t take away that light you carried despite how dark you thought you were. You were the kind of girl who still believed she could meet the love of her life in a coffee shop; who believed in love at first sight; who wanted to marry as soon as possible; who didn’t want to date casually; who was a hopeless romantic; who thought love was just like the movies. You had an incredibly innocent heart that he both wanted to force his way into, but also protect. He wanted you to have a lifetime of happiness, and he wasn’t yet sure if he could provide that for you. But God, he was starting to realize you were a girl he wasn’t going to get over easily. If he found out tomorrow you were going on a date with another man, he’d both be ecstatic and heartbroken.

Chris took his eyes off the road for a brief second to throw a glance your way. It’d been fifteen minutes since you got into the car, but you were still smiling at the pass hanging around your neck. He’d made it himself, and it had both your name and the phrase “VIP - Chris Evans’ Very Important Person” on it. You looked over at him as he turned back to the road, smiling when you saw him smile. You still couldn’t believe your luck; it’d been exactly forty-three days since you met Chris and you still couldn’t believe your luck. You woke with a smile on your face each morning- not just because of the ‘good morning’ texts he’d sent you, but because you woke knowing you had him in your life. It was a pretty freaking amazing feeling, one you hoped you’d never have to give up.

“Thank you for today, Chris.” You told him, smiling; he glanced at you and smiled back, nodding. “You’re right about it being worth my time, I couldn’t imagine spending today any other way. This has just been an absolute dream come true, honestly-” you cut yourself off, chuckling, “you’re the best, the absolute best.”

“It’s not over yet,” he threw another smile your way. “We’ve still got one more stop before we call it a day, and um-” he pulled his car to a stop; you looked out and saw the Dolby Theatre. “You might want to do a quick costume change.” He told you then got out of the car before you could question him further. “C'mon,” he called as he knocked on the back windshield.

You got out of the car and chuckled when you saw him hold up two dress bags. One held a navy blue tux, and the other held your old prom dress. “Where the hell did you get that from?” You laughed, taking the bag from him. “You didn’t break into my room while I was sleeping, did you?”

“God, no,” he laughed. “Ava did.” He told you and you chuckled. Of course Ava did, your best friend would do anything Chris asked her to because she too was a huge fan of his. You’d met her on Tumblr a few years ago, connecting through your love for Chris Evans and writing, and only recently met her in real life. She was yet another wonderful thing you needed to thank Chris for, because without him to write about- you would’ve never met Ava. “I told her about today and she offered her services.”

“Isn’t she a doll,” you bit sarcastically, then laughed when he did. “Are you serious about changing?” You quizzed and he nodded, walking towards the entrance as he draped the dress bag over his shoulder. “Oh come on,” you ran after him, “I don’t want to put on a gown!”

“You’re going to be very under dressed.” He pushed the door open and beckoned you in with his head. You stared at him, not saying anything or walking into anywhere. You huffed when he chuckled, “it’ll be fun, Y/N. Trust me,” he said with a smile that you’d never- in your forty-three days of knowing him- been able to say no to.

“Fine,” you sighed and stomped into the building. “Is there a bath-” You cut yourself off when he pointed you in the direction of the bathroom. “Just so you know, I might not even fit that dress.” You told him as you stomped towards the female bathroom like a pouty child; he followed behind you, chuckling softly. “I’m not as slim now as I was at my prom.”

“You still look great to me,” he told you and you felt heat rise to your cheeks. You bit back your smile as you glanced back at him. “Get dressed,” he instructed and you nodded, “then meet me at the stage.”

• • • • • • • •

Chris waited on the stage patiently for you, fiddling with his cuffs and sleeves. “I look ridiculous,” he heard your voice and looked up as you walked down the aisle towards the stage. His lips parted in awe, then formed into a smile as he appreciated how breathtaking you looked in your simple, but beautifully elegant, chiffon gown. “I mean-” you lifted your gown to display the sneakers you were wearing. “You could’ve at least got Ava to steal me some heels too,” you joked.

“You look beautiful.” He complimented as he walked down the steps to meet you; his heart beating as fast against his chest at the sight of you, as your heart was against your chest at the sight of him. “Now come on,” he held out his arm for you to take, “I want to show you something.”

“Like what?” You asked, letting him lead you on stage. “We’re already inside this amazing theatre, I mean- this is where they host the Oscars every year.” You pulled away from him to stroll the stage. “This place has held the talents of Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington and Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino and-” You stopped when you realized Chris was smiling at you. “Of course,” you walked back over to him and poked his chest, “Chris Evans. A man who should have won Oscars upon Oscars by now.”

“As biased as you are, my number one fan,” he teased and you giggled, “I appreciate it. And yes,” he agreed as he looked around the place, smiling. “The theatre is amazing and I did bring you here to show you the interior. But-” he said and you turned to him, “I also brought you here to prepare you for your future.”

“And how are you preparing me for my future?”

“Come here,” he used his head to beckon you towards him. You walked over hesitantly then tensed when he moved behind you, gently grabbing your arms. “This is where you’re going to be one day,” he whispered into your ear, smiling. He was having trouble remembering what he’d planned to say to you because your perfume was incredibly intoxicating and all he could think of was kissing your neck. “You’re going to be standing up here, looking down at everyone you’d thought you’d only see on your screen, thanking them and your loved ones for taking a chance on you and supporting you to your first Oscar win.”

You smiled as you imagined what Chris was saying. It was almost like you could feel the Golden Statue in your hand; the weight and the sturdiness of it. You closed your eyes and looked up; it was like the heat of a thousand lights were kissing your skin. Your ears could hear the thundering applause and the cheers as the entire audience rose to their feet to give you the standing ovation you deserved. You’d look out into the crowd and smile; smile at the people you’d worked with, those who’d helped you get you the award. That was the dream, it’d always been the dream. Just like Chris was part of it, he was part of everything. Even as you closed your eyes to picture a scene where you just won an award of the highest honor, you saw him. You saw him in the crowd and you smiled because knowing him, having him believe in you the way he did, having him in your life- that all meant so much more to you than winning an award.

“I can’t wait to see you up here,” he told you as he released you from his grip. His hand forgot you were just a friend and not his girlfriend, and took it upon itself to brush your cascading hair over your shoulder. “You are going to go to amazing places, Y/N. I promise you that,” he said with so much sincerity that you felt your eyes well with tears.

“Oh God,” your voice quivered as you sniffled, trying your best not to start crying. Chris’ eyes narrowed as he gently wrapped his arm around your elbow to turn you towards him. “These are happy tears,” you quickly told him when you saw concern in his eyes. “I’m um-” you reached up to brush your tears away, but he beat you to it. “I’m just really touched that you believe in me.”

“Of course I do,” he smiled and lowered his hand to take your in his; he squeezed it gently. “You are incredibly talented, Y/N. I am so glad you decided to pursue screen writing because- God, it’d be a waste if you didn’t. You have a way with words that not many do, and I have no doubt that it’s going to take you up here one day.”

“Because of you,” you said and he shook his head.

“No,” he said. “Because of you. With or without me, you were going to find your way here and I’m…” He trailed off, smiling at how beautiful you looked despite your teary eyes and runny nose. “I’m going to be standing in that audience applauding your incredible talent, and wishing that I’d one day be lucky enough to be able to direct or even act in one of your flawless pieces.”

“You’re going to make me cry,” you chuckled because it was your only way to stop yourself from crying. He smiled and brushed the tears that had escaped off your cheeks. “Thank you, Chris,” you told him as you forced your way into his arms, hugging him tightly; he’d hugged you back without hesitation. “You have no idea how much all of this means to me.”

“You’re welcome.”

The shoe story

When you have big feet
Not all shoes fit

So I looked for a bigger size
Everywhere, under the skies

I found clogs and sneakers
Heels and flats
Stilettos and wedges
And a pair made for cats

All the pairs of shoes I found
Stay in the closet, safe and sound

Now I have a pair for every meet
But I like it best when I go bare feet

Erin's Craigslist Peril

Time for another story. I’d like to thank Erin Tumblr handle @whoremeat12 for this story.

Again a reminder, if you requested story and I haven’t gotten around to it yet, I’m trying. I’ve had probably 50-60 requests for stories. I will get around to it.

If you’d like to be the subject of one of my stories, message me.

Again please include the following:

First name(can be a phony name if you prefer)

Age (18+ please)

Physical description (a pic would be nice but not mandatory. Do include if you have any tattoos or body piercings-piercings other than the ears)

Sex stats(important for the story. Example include if you’re straight, gay or bi)

Where would you like to be kidnapped from?(can include but is not limited to; your home, place of employment-great if you work late, college campus-or high school if you’re an 18 year old senior, a nightclub, a Craigslist connection, the beach, the mall, a gym, a phony photo shoot, a vacation outside the US)

What would you be wearing when we grab you?

Who would you like to sold to (can include but is not limited to: an underground bdsm website, someone from the Middle East, a brothel in say Asia or Latin America, a Hucow or pony slave)

As I mentioned earlier, I’m especially interested in the following story lines:

A catholic schoolgirl: obviously a detailed description of your uniform. If you are going to send a pic, definitely include one in your uniform)

A Hooters girl(if you’re sending a pic send one in your uniform)

A cheerleader(can be high school-18 year old senior of course, college or even professional. A pic with your uniform if you so desire)

A mother/daughter combo. Meaning if you have a hot mom or if you’re a hot milf and has an adult daughter.

A spring break scenario

Also kidnap you while you’re rolling blading/skating (we love women on skates)

*************************************

I was online one day going through Craigslist ads. I came across one ad that peaked my interest. The girl advertised herself as kinky and submissive. She was 24. Advertised herself with tattoos and body piercings. Sounded very wild. I answered her ad. She responded the next day. Her name was Erin. We then started texting each other then made our way to talking on the phone. We agreed to meet at a bar on a Friday night.

I dressed in blue jeans, a black buttoned down shirt and black sneakers. I saw Erin. Very petite definitely very curvy in the right areas. She had dyed red hair and blue eyes. She was wearing all black. A black leather jacket over a black tank top, black leggings and black flat heeled knee high boots.

We sat down and had a drink. Of course Erin had quite a few. Our conversation was normal at first. She seemed like a bit of a ditz although she had told me she had a learning disability in school. She had mentioned she went to private school. She showed me a pic from when she was 18 with her uniform. Nice. Then the conversation started turning sexual. Erin admitted she was a slut. Then she took off one boot and she started using her foot to rub my crotch area. I then sat next to her and started feeling her up. She was at this point pretty tipsy.

“How much have you drink? Because if I take you home with me, I’m an animal in bed.” As I gave a wicked smile. That brought a huge smile out of her.

We then settled up and I took Erin back to a hotel room I took out for the night. She was a little bit wobbly as we got to our room. I sat down as she removed her jacket and boots. Then in a very seductive way she removed her leggings revealing black thong panties. Then she removed my shirt then jeans.

Then we got on the bed and she was extremely giddy. I usually like drunken sex but I kept myself sober to give me the advantage. We were rolling around in the bed and then I reached in my pocket for a pair of handcuffs. I then flipped Erin over on her stomach and slapped the cuffs on both wrists behind her back very tightly.

“Ooh am I under arrest officer?” She asked very giddy.

“No I think it’s worse heh heh”

“I’m sure it’s a big mistake officer. A big misunderstanding” again giggling.

I then grabbed her by the hair and gave her a slap on each cheek of the face. Little did she know she had just her freedom for the rest of her life.

I then grabbed the belt from my jeans and first gave her ass a nice whipping. She was starting to feel the pain but after a painful reaction to each strike she would then giggle. Then I placed the belt around her neck and began fucking her roughly up the ass.

Then as I was fucking her, I was able to reach for a cloth. I put it against her nose. She clearly started to smell something sweet. After about a minute, she passed out. I then shot my load. I then put my jeans back on and called Bruce.

“Got another one”

“Ok be there as soon as I can”

I then got out my bag which would hold the stuff I truly needed. I got out rope to tie her up. I first wanted to check her body art. I could see the tattoos. And her piercings. Both nipples. Her tongue. And her clit. I then took the rope replacing the handcuffs on her wrists. Then her elbows. Then her thighs and ankles. Then rope to put her in a hogtie. Then a head harness ball gag and a hood over her head. Then I placed her in a garment bag.

Bruce and Rick arrived to take our new slave back to our slave training facility. They put her on a cart and put the bag in the van(I stayed the night at the hotel). When my two partners arrived at the facility, she had just started to wake up. Bruce and Rick could hear through the bag some screaming. She probably wondered what was happening. The two gentlemen placed the garment bag on the flatbed and they took her to the basement. They attached it to the the arch back device. Again securing metal restraints on its wrists, ankles, upper arms, neck, waist and thighs. A vibe was attached to her clit for all night edging. The slave was gagged and blindfolded. And the only thing it could hear was the disorientation cd. With the following message:

“Hello cunt. Comfortable? Probably not. Your comfort is not important to us anyway. What’s important is now you are our sex slave. Our fucktoy. Our piece of meat. You know longer own your own body. Everything head to toe is ours. And there’s no safe word. We don’t care about how you feel except how we want you to feel. You no longer have human rights. You are now just a worthless brainless cunt. A fucktoy. Just tits and 3 fuckholes for a man to use and abuse for his pleasure. You are now being trained to be a sex slave. When we feel you’ve completed your training, you will be auctioned off and sold to the highest bidder. You are now going through your transformation from an independent woman to an obedient sex slave and a compliant fucktoy. Whatever you were previously, you no longer are. Welcome to your new life.”

The slave formerly known as Erin would hear this all night. This was part of its sleep deprivation. The slave’s transformation was underway.

From Unknown: What is it with tourists and always choosing the vilest options for footwear?!

To Unknown: I know, right?!

From Unknown: It’s like, why would you wear that lovely blouse, with that beautiful skirt if you’re just gonna use Nike running shoes with it!

To Fancy Random Person: Ugh. Nike sneakers. I’ve never found an aesthetically pleasing pair. Although, if we’re being fair, I think the thing with tourists is that they choose their footwear keeping in mind that they’ll probably spend their entire day walking. Thus, comfort trumps style.

From Fancy Random Person: What?! You’re not supposed to be the rational one!

To Fancy Random Person: I’m not?

From Fancy Random Person: No. I’m the rational one. So when I’m being irrational you’re just supposed to agree without questioning. That’s the deal.

To The Rational One: I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize. I agree wholeheartedly. Ban all ugly footwear!!! I’ll start the paperwork for the petition right away.

From The Rational One: Thank you.

To The Rational One: BTW, I have no idea who you are.

From The Rational One: What?

So she runs with heels….

As a woman, and one who who doesn’t like heels, I never understood why people are so riled up over this — even calling it unrealistic!

Fact, women actually WEAR heels.  Yeah we wear them even if we don’t like them because it looks good.  Is wanting to look good a gender stereotype?

As for Claire in Jurassic World, keep in mind that the events happened very quickly.  First she’s off to meet the owner of the park so yeah she is dressed to impress — corporate clothes and heels.  Is that wrong?

When all these things happen, it happens very quickly and I doubt that she has a pair of flats, boots or sneakers lying around as if she was anticipating that she will run for her life in the next few hours.  Some say that she could have gotten some maintenance worker boots…uh-huh…would it fit her foot because an ill fitting boot is probably worse than good fitting heels.    And seriously, who has boots lying conveniently around a corner when there is a dinosaur attack.  Or what woman in her right mind would go to the locker/bunker to change to more comfortable running clothes/shoes when there is a dinosaur attack.

She was stuck with her corporate clothes and heels…so she has to live with it! It’s just as simple as that!  No gender stereotyping fashion or whatnot because its really getting stupid at this point.

And with the adrenaline of not wanting to die coursing through her veins, heck would she even care what she was wearing to begin with?!  You can run with heels and it would be painful but its either you whine bitch and moan about the pain while a dinosaur is chasing you or just suck it up and run.

And for those arguing that she should have gone barefoot.  Newsflash, the terrain is rocky and when you get to the park it was littered with a lot of debris and broken glass that walking barefoot in that would probably do more harm than good.

So yeah…keeping those heels for me makes sense.

[TRANS] Tiffany Interview in Pin Prestige, April 2016

“If it’s okay, can I eat while we do the interview?” asked Tiffany Hwang, as she opened the packaging on bread.

I never thought I’d see this scene in person, so I secretly really liked it and responded, “Ah, of course”.

I couldn’t believe that a person who always has to show a perfect appearance in front of a camera, a woman who has an occupation that requires her to always maintain an S line, and a woman who is called an idol, star, and goddess by millions of fans was eating bread with jam in front of me.

What is the big deal about watching a celebrity eating a mini croissant?

It’s because I’ve heard so many times that many entertainment companies require its artists to abide by a strict meal plan to maintain their figure, and I’ve read many pre-debut photos and articles of Tiffany that talked about how she has maintained her perfect figure.

In the past when I’ve interviewed SNSD, they were wearing the most beautiful outfits with a perfect smile. Like a living Barbie doll, the ladies’ beauty were almost unreal. Tiffany, who was eating bread, showed a big difference. Her two big eyes smiles. “I really like jam. Haha.”

A Smile Hiding Unyielding Strength

The group that Tiffany is in is SNSD, and under their name they’ve released 8 albums and performed over 100 performances, they are a one top nation’s girl group of South Korea.

She also has 3.4 million followers on Instagram, and the single behind cut photo that she uploaded on shooting day received 20,000 likes within 15 minutes. Her popularity alone is explosive.

10 years ago, even before debut, her dream was releasing a solo album, with her own name on the line.

“Originally, the plan was for me to release my solo album at the end of last year. But we delayed it to this year. The company gave me permission to discuss this content, so I’m discussing this topic. The company said that my album has been prepared well so it would be okay to release it but I did not agree. It was decided that it was not yet perfect. I thought that there were areas that were not yet perfect, so I hesitated, ‘Should I push ahead according to the original plan or should I strive toward my thoughts and beliefs in pursuit of perfection?’”

Before this interview, I had heard that there were changes to her solo album plans. So I decided not to ask questions regarding her album. But the topic came up during the interview, so I decided to probe.

“Right now, I’m pondering over the name of the album. Mmm…. The way I view myself and the way that my fans look at me is a California girl, who is full of warmth and sunshine. I don’t want to release the album in the winter. Winter doesn’t suit my music. So I’m waiting for sunlight to shine brightly. I was insistent that I want to release the album when it’s warm. This is the biggest hint I can give, to my fans who are waiting for the album.”

While Tiffany was talking about the album that she has waited 10 years to come out, her words were full of energy, like sunlight. The way she described herself was like that too. It was optimistic, overflowing with energy. Her beautiful eye smile and lovable smile told me everything.

“Of course I thought about it seriously. Am I forcing myself to smile so I can become happy? Or am I pretending to be happy? Honestly, last year, my heart did hesitate a little. I spent almost 1 year thinking of the conclusion. I am a happy person overflowing with energy. I love ice cream and I love cupcakes. I love pink, this is me. Every person has a dark side. But as long as you have a positive and optimistic heart, even if most difficult times come, it will end.”

The outfit emphasizes the strength layered on top of her soft and lovely features. The photographer Woo Kim wants a more serious expression from her. For a moment, she erases her smile, and transforms into someone who has absolute control over what she wants.

“It’s really fun. Every shot, lighting, makeup and style is different. It’s different from photoshoots of the past. It’s a new experience because the photographer is different from ones I’ve worked with before. I think this is a precious experience. I’m satisfied with the photos.”

Trying New Things as Her All-Time Motivation

During the interview, Tiffany repeated the phrase “I am attempting something new” several times. She is always hard at work finding new opportunities.

This is only the start of her dream of releasing an album. If she puts out an album under her own name, she alone will receive all of the attention and stage that she previously shared with the group. The meaning of starting anew was underlying in her words.

“I thought of me when I was younger, my dreams, thoughts and feelings when I first came to Korea. I was a girl from America who had the dream of becoming a rising star in Asia. I am thankful that I never forget that initial goal and I am still chasing that dream.”

“Recently, I went to the US on vacation, and my brother asked me, ‘When will SNSD do a concert in North America and South America?’ He asked me, ‘Do you remember wanting to see famous idols who lived on the other side of the world as you?’”

“At that time, I saw many things very clearly. More than my dreams, I found strong beliefs. When I flew to Korea at the age of fifteen and started living there, my future was all uncertain. But I was not scared. I think I must have been born an optimist. I can’t speak on behalf of SNSD, but if there are people waiting somewhere, I think they will be able to hear my/our voice and see us. It’s because they are my motivation and source of strength.”

“Recently, I got a tattoo that says ‘dreamer’ on my finger. Korean music was the dream of my teenage years, and I am still running toward my goals. Even though I have grown from late teens to my late twenties, the one thing that has not changed is that I will keep dreaming. I will always chase after my dreams.”

She has never forgotten her initial motives and returned to the mind of a rookie, who has just debuted, and still looking for her breakthrough. She has never sparkled more brightly than she does now.

“I’m all about feeling things in my heart in the moment, and creating something new. One time, I thought that I was always showing the same aspect of me in every photo. But it’s different now. I like new things and I started living for that. I go for walks, I drink, I watch movies, I go for drives. I am learning how to rest, and I am smiling even more.”

(How can you go out freely when you are famous in Korea?)

“Honestly, I go outside without makeup, only wearing sunglasses, sport pants and sneakers. When SNSD makes official appearances, we are well prepared from head to toe. In the past, I didn’t have courage to meet people without high heels.”

“The last 10 years or so, I’ve been a proponent of perfection, perfection and even more perfection. But truthfully, I am a regular person. I love butter, and I like grains. In the past, I’ve felt like I wasn’t doing anything. But now, I’m a bit more relaxed, so there’s nothing that will be a problem.”

Stress Accompanying Her Course of Maturing

If a force is disrupted, it typically bounces off even stronger. Like a spring. This is a good comparison to how Tiffany started her journey.

At the age of 15, when she was barely in middle school, she participated in a competition that picked trainees in the US. She did not make it through, but she attracted the attention of an agent, and after that, she had an audition. She got into the company, and became a trainee. To chase her own dreams and seize this opportunity, she had to use all of her strength. Despite strong opposition from her father, she did not wane, and declared that she must become a singer.

She packed up her life in the US in a matter of 3 weeks, and she came to Korea alone, leaving behind her only safe place, with her family. To chase her dreams. In her words, this was the craziest choice she has made in her life so far.

“After hearing my father’s opinion, I was even more sure that I wanted to become a singer. That this is what I want. How many fifteen-year-olds know what they want? I think it’s really important to believe in yourself and to be completely honest with yourself.”

(How were you so sure?)

“Love. I really love music. I respect my current occupation. Showing music is a method of expression, and it can also heal.  You can tell a story, but you can also sing it. If you can sing a story, it’s even cooler. When you’re heartbroken, when you say goodbye, when you feel crazy, when you make a mistake, when you grow… You can sing these feelings, and when you hear it through music, it feels very different. Music can touch the bottom of your heart, and it has the ability to reach the deepest part of your soul. These days, people share their music lists. That is really about sharing your story. Like having a conversation.”

“I know I love it (music and the occupation of a singer). Love never leaves regrets and it makes you do crazy things. I didn’t even wish for a reward (of success). But the end result was more than what I could imagine.”

“After debuting at the age of 18, I had already become an adult. Of course, looking back now, I know very well that I was so immature. Growing under flashing lights and cameras gave me incredible stress. Some things were positive and some things were negative. Thankfully, I am still holding on to the thing that I always wanted. I still love music and my current occupation gives me huge satisfaction.”

“Growing up in front of the camera gave me perseverance and patience. I learned how to accept criticism with an open heart. It can be hard to withstand severe words from people. I learned how to take in new challenges that include things I don’t know well, or things beyond my control. Things that are unavoidable in this industry like photographs, makeup, or outfits. I’m thankful that I can work with people in different fields, and I’ve learned to maintain an open mind so we can work together comfortably; I am thankful that I can be inspired by them. I think it’s really awesome when we can create a breakthrough together.”

She expects a lot of herself and imposes many limitations. She has created in herself a person who can work even harder. Her punctual and prepared nature is definite proof that shows her professionalism.

She believes that being punctual is a basic manner that shows respect for other people. Today’s photo shoot was supposed to start at 10 am but yesterday, she requested to show up 90 minutes early for makeup and styling. When I came today, she had come even earlier than the promised time. After she finished preparations, she showed a side of herself that was well rested and passionate. And she said (in a friendly tone), “Now we can start!”

Investing in Time Wisely

This is luck, and also hard work. For 3 years, Tiffany received training from SM, one of the 3 biggest entertainment companies, and debuted as a member of SNSD in 2007. SNSD received incredible popularity in a short period of time, and she became famous overnight. As a star, her trajectory has extended in various directions, with singing, MC, appearing in variety shows, and acting in musicals.

“I can’t deny it. I was really lucky. This luck found me in my career, so it created good opportunities for me, and I was able to seize every opportunity.”

“I am a person who abides by time. I spend a lot of time reviewing, and thinking again, and I don’t think of this as a waste of time, but a form of investment.”

“There are times when you rush things because you don’t want to lose out on an opportunity, or because you think you’re not getting any younger. But I don’t want to waste my time. My friends all think the same way. Especially when their careers have met a certain peak, everyone tries desperately to find a different exit.”

“These days, I’ve taken a step back to think about and find what I really want. I examine myself well and ask myself honestly. If I think I am ready and sure, I do it. And I throw myself into what I’m doing. This must be growth. Some people spend even more time thinking.”

“I think of various things before I become immersed in something, and I like my current self who takes that time. For example, when I shoot an editorial, I look at magazines and study concepts. When I do work with certain brands, I study the history of that brand. Or when I collaborate with a musician, I need to know what kind of people they are. It was the same this time, when I worked together with Singapore and Malaysia magazines for the first time.”

“It may be that I won’t get the last opportunity. Opportunity is never guaranteed for anyone. If it comes to me, whether it’s fast or slow, I believe that it will find me.”

Aside from her solo album, Tiffany has been active in fashion. In 2013, she participated in a variety program <Fashion King Korea>, showing her entertainment wit and excellent fashion sense through multiple challenges, and ended up placing 3rd.

“Fashion has a relationship with my work that can’t be separated. Fashion is a tool that allows me to show my music. I am also interested in acting in dramas, so I am secretly auditioning and receiving acting lessons. I might attempt acting next year, you never know. My personality tends to pursue perfection, so before I take in a new challenge, it’s important for me to feel confident.”

(You’ve performed in musicals before that require you to dance, sing and act simultaneously, is that hard for you to do now?)

“Thank you for the compliment. Mm… The Korean entertainment industry is very strict toward its artists. Actors specialize in acting and singers specialize in singing. If an artist goes into a different field, it could mean that, that artist is not skilled in their own area of specialty. That it’s not professional. So it tends not to end well with the media and public.”

“In the US, it’s very common for artists to expand their careers in various directions. A musician can incorporate a dramatic element and create a very impressive music video. If they can sing and act, and can express a story more effectively, there are many instances of film actors expanding into stage acting. I would like for Korea to accept artists who are trying to attempt new fields a bit more.”

Her Name Reflects Her True Self

After sharing stories with Tiffany for about 20 minutes, a staff suddenly comes in and lets her know that there are still 5 minutes left. Tiffany hurriedly packs her things up and kindly told me that she can respond to few more questions.

For the remaining questions, I made her predict them. Tiffany is…

“Stephanie. I’m still the fifteen year old me, who first came to Korea. The California sentiment is still in my bones (she’s talking about her soul and personality that is as bright and warm as the weather there). I still love pink, I love ice cream and I love music.”

“I’m still into rainbows and unicorns. (She said this in English) I’m still embracing my dreams and holding hope. My positive energy comes out from ice cream and fashion… There was a time when I was in a rush, but I’m barely 26, what could I be at this age? So I’ve concluded, live in this moment. Enjoy this time that I have now.”

As a Korean American, Tiffany grew up in Diamond Bar, a suburb of LA. Her given name is Stephanie, and Tiffany is a name she uses on stage, and it’s also a name that her parents thought of giving her when she was born. Tiffany is Stephanie. It is her self, who is now 26 years old.

I want to emphasize once again how honest she was about herself. I have hope that she will be able to throw away the luggage of herself as an idol and show her true potential.

Tiffany Hwang is using time, talent and ice cream that she loves, to create the hot sparks that will light her dreams brightly.

CANDY #2

This gift goes out to @accio-malfoy and is from @julietsemophase!

Note from gifter: Dear Candy Champion - CONGRATULATIONS!  You have utilised your stalking abilities like a pro, and I am now thrilled to share my gift with you <3
I’d just like to make a quick announcement about your prize before we get started.  This is my second attempt at an entry.  I got 10K words into the first, sent it to my brother/editor Merc, who took one look at it and given the timescale, declared it an un-salvageable mess.   I was pretty disappointed, and not sure if I could come up with something new that would be any good, but mentioned to him something about maybe trying a ‘failed Halloween’ of some sort.
Within the hour Merc came back with a beat-by-beat story suggestion that is pretty much 80% of what you will read now.  The man is a legend.  He would like to send his love to all my “Tumbledorks” and hopes we have an excellent Dralloween!
So, this fic is an American Muggle AU, and sees Harry and Draco’s relationship grow over the years on certain Halloween nights.  14.7K words, and a little bit of smut!  Also a bit of angst about coming out and a slightly unhealthy relationship, but mostly it is just pure fluff!  Apologies if I get any Americanisms wrong, I tried my hardest :-P
Picture set is by me, though I don’t own the images.  Featuring Jeremy Dufour as Draco.
Right, all that’s left I guess is to say HAPPY DRALLOWEEN SQUADLINGS!!!  I hope you have a brilliant day.

anonymous asked:

hi! :D im going to an all time low concert next week and i dont really know what to expect. its my first concert and im kind of nervous. i noticed you go to alot of concerts, could you give me some advice? i love your blog by the way :D

ok dude i’ll give you like the whole concert advice deal

the day before the concert

  • make sure you have a ride, you know what time you’re leaving, you know when/where to meet your friends, you’ve got your tickets in the mail or printed out, etc. get directions to the venue if you’re not familiar with the area.
  • plan your outfit - i recommend wearing jeans or shorts, a comfortable shirt, your favorite most comfortable bra/underwear, and strong but comfortable shoes (i prefer vans; any other sneakers will do, just avoid sandals, heels, boots, and toms)
  • take a shower- no one wants to smell or touch your stinky ass body. you can also do this the morning of the show. just please, be clean when you go to a concert.
  • get a good night’s sleep!

the morning/afternoon of the concert

  • set your alarm to wake up with plenty of time to get ready and have time to spare. many people suffer from what i like to call “pre-concert stress” aka you’re really short on time and have a mini-breakdown before the concert. don’t let this happen to you ok
  • make sure you have everything you need before you leave the house!!! i recommend bringing a small drawstring backpack, a water bottle (most venues won’t let you bring them in though), a cell phone and charger, sweatshirt if it’s cold out, money for merch/water/food, and something to get signed if you expect to meet the band. some people also bring their cameras (non-professional point-and-shoot camera either digital or film). if yours is too big to fit in your pocket, then you probably shouldn’t bring it, because it could get easily lost/broken in the crowd (and will just get in the way). also don’t forget the tickets!
  • EAT AND DRINK a lot of (healthy) food and water before the show. you will get sick and/or pass out if you don’t do this. usually i eat a lot of fruit before the show because it fills me up and has a lot of healthy energy in it. i don’t recommend anything fried, such as fast food burgers and fries. don’t eat anything that usually makes you feel sick or poop a lot because you do not want to have to poop while you’re at a concert, i promise. i don’t recommend coffee or energy drinks before concerts, either.
  • get to the venue before doors open- check your ticket to see when they open. usually it’s 6pm but other times it’s 5 or 7. the time that you get there will vary. if you have some sort of vip, then you’ll have to get there in time for that. they’ll likely email you a day or two before the show to let you know. if you’re going with general admission, then any time in the afternoon will be fine. have your ticket(s) out and ready by the time doors open.

during the show

  • make sure you have water with you. if you weren’t able to sneak a bottle in (i usually do this by wrapping it in my jacket in my bag, but sometimes they’re able to feel it when checking your bag) then quickly buy one before getting in the crowd. it’s expensive but that’s what you have to expect. hopefully they’ll let you keep the cap on it, but you might want to bring your own cap just in case (that way you’ll be able to save the water until you absolutely need it). if/when guards pass out water, don’t be a hog. take a couple of sips and pass it on.
  • dude, put your hair up. like before any bands even come on. seriously, no one wants your hair all over their face, and you don’t want it sticking to your face and mouth either. it’ll just really get in the way unless you put it up.
  • be selfish, but not too selfish. people will try and take advantage of you in the crowd. everyone has one goal: get as close to the front as possible. so you’re going to experience a lot of pushing and a lot of bitchy people. things that are acceptable: pushing through people, saying “excuse me,” elbowing people, leaning forward, ignoring people who tell you to stop pushing, not letting people through when they try and push past you, telling people to “shut the fuck up” when they whine complain about the crowd. things that are not acceptable: hitting, kicking, hair pulling, spitting, biting, pushing people down, insulting people, stomping on feet, complaining and whining about the crowd. always make sure to help people if they need it. if someone’s sick and trying to get out of the crowd, then do all you can to help them.
  • concert etiquette: i explained this in the above bullet a bit but here i’ll add onto it. yelling things like “I LOVE YOU ALEX” and “PLAY CIRCLES” are basically the worst idea. not only is it annoying to everyone around you and everyone taking videos, it’s also annoying to the band. they know you love them. and they have expertly assembled and practiced their set, which they worked insanely hard to do. they’re not going to play a different song just because your whiny ass wants them to. and it’s offensive to them, because they get the message that you’re not enjoying the songs they picked out. another thing that’s not okay is pulling someone away from the barricade. that is basically the one spot in the crowd that you’ll ever be where you’re not worrying about people taking it from you. barricade is a privilege, and something you work very hard for. you can’t just take that away from somebody. chances are, a few people at barricade will leave before the end of the show, and then you’ll have your chance to take their spot. but until then, suck it up and stay 2nd or 3rd row, you piece of shit.
  • probably the most important thing is your health. if you’re in the crowd and begin feeling sick or fatigue, then please get out of there. you don’t want to spend the night of your first concert in the hospital. get out, drink some water, sit down, take a few minutes to breathe. you may even want to step into the bathroom where it’s more quiet and less chaotic.

some other stuff

  • be kind and considerate but don’t allow other people to take advantage of you or ruin the night for you. everyone’s just there to have a good time.
  • since it’s your first concert, don’t expect to get too far. you have to build up experience and get used to the way it works in order to do “good”. just enjoy it, take it all in and try your best to have a great time no matter what.
  • i’ve learned that you have a much better time when you focus more on the moment and less on pictures/video. you’ll remember it a lot better that way, and you’ll be remembering the actual event, not just some photos. taking a few pictures for twitter and tumblr is fine, but don’t be one of those people who films the entire set so they can put it on youtube. what fun is that?
  • learn the songs from the setlist ahead of time. nothing’s more embarrassing than standing there in a singing crowd, having no idea what the words to the song are.
  • if you plan on going somewhere afterwards and want to look good then you might want to bring a hairbrush and makeup. crowds can leave you looking pretty screwed up.
  • don’t bring a lot of money in the crowd. if you have a parent or someone else going with you that’s not entering the crowd, then let them hold your money. if not, then only bring a small amount to keep with you. it’s so easy to lost money at concerts- trust me, i once lost $150 in an all time low crowd.
  • make sure your phone is charged. you want to be able to call someone in an emergency.

don’t stress too much about it! everyone’s had a first concert before. it may seem scary but it’s really not once you get into it. just focus on having fun and seeing your favorite(?) band!

Not Good Enough

Because sometimes I wonder if there are downsides to dating these four idiots. One more week until I have to go back to school so request while you can.

Luke

Luke tries not to get too attached to the people he meets when his band is on tour. However, there was something about you that he couldn’t ignore when he walked into the local coffee shop. And after asking if the seat next to you was taken he knew that he was already in over his head. It’s difficult for him because he’s rarely ever in the same place for more than a day. As much as he loves being on the road with the band, part of him wishes he could physically be there with you. When he checks social media and sees you sitting alone in the pictures of your cousin’s wedding. It makes him feel like a bad boyfriend because he had to decline the invitation to be your plus one in order  to go to LA to record. As much as you would like to be within a five kilometer radius of Luke at all times, it means a lot to you to see him putting so much effort in your relationship. For example, making sure to check the time difference before calling you at what would’ve been 4 am local time or sending care packages to your house full of random things he found in the latest city he was in or leaving long voice mails filling you in on everything he did that day.

Michael

Everyone knows you are a hopeless romantic and Michael is no exception. You just love love and whenever you mention something romantic your friends’ boyfriends did for them Michael would start to feel insecure. Frankly, it never crossed his mind to have “Happy Birthday Y/N” written in the sky for you or to arrange a hot air balloon to take the two of you to a romantic picnic in the middle of nowhere. Even after telling him that he doesn’t have to try to be something he’s not, Michael would still feel like you deserved someone who was good at making grand gestures and lengthy speeches about his undying love for you. But that wasn’t what you loved about observing your friends’ relationships. What you loved was seeing people show that they cared for one another. And Michael does a ton of things that show that he cares out you. From running you a bath when you’ve had a particularly long day to driving across town to buy that pizza you’ve been desperately craving, in your mind, those little things added up.

Ashton

You have a stressful but enviable position in the corporate world. Of course all the stress you have to endure means you’re rewarded handsomely for your efforts. You have your own apartment, your own car and a closet full of designer clothes. You’re pretty independent and that intimidated a lot of guys, including Ashton. You never fail to impress him from running in four inch heels to calmly rescuing a spider you found in your shower. You even knew exactly what kind of wine to bring for your first meeting with Ashton’s mom when you hear she was serving lamb for dinner (a full bodied Pinot Noir, duh). Ashton always found himself worrying about what strangers thought of the two of you together. With him dressed in his holey Nirvana t-shirt, ripped skinny jeans and beat up sneakers while you’re in head to toe Valentino. It’s obvious to Ashton that the two of you don’t exactly look like a couple. Ashton felt like you should be with a guy that was more sophisticated. Who actually knew how to tie a tie or what color chartreuse was and had one of those jobs that required him to wear a suit. But to you there wasn’t a part of Ashton that you didn’t absolutely adore. Your job was so boring compared to his; he always had something different to tell you each day. He also brought out the childish side in you; the part of you that was content eating Froot Loops and watching cartoons all day. And maybe his band tees were a just a little more comfortable on your body than those Stella McCartney dresses you were always squeezing in to.

Calum

It took a while before you were ready to open up to Calum. You had been hurt so many times with so many people; you wanted to make sure you trusted the right people. Once his persistence finally won you over, were very affectionate with Calum; from intertwining your fingers with his while you were walking to randomly planting kisses on his lips ‘just because’. Of course with PDA like that it didn’t take long for the media and fans to pick up on what had happened. Calum had a new girlfriend. Within days the fans on the internet had made hundreds of posts about you. You already had most of your social media accounts set to private (because you’re shy) but now you had a tumblr block installed on your name to try to prevent yourself from seeing any hate. However, you still saw some pretty nasty posts that were indirectly mentioning you. You couldn’t help but tear up when you saw what complete strangers were saying about you and your relationship. Calum felt terrible for putting you in a position like this. Just because he chose to be in the spotlight didn’t mean you had to be. Calum knew that a relationship with a guy who wasn’t famous would’ve been much easier for you and for once he wished he was that guy. But you explained to him that only two people mattered in the relationship: you and him, the hundreds of thousands of other observers weren’t going to able to interfere whether they liked your public displays of affection of not.
