A/N: Here we go! Part four :) –ALSO I said in the last part that this one would be short. I promise I’ll make it up to you!!!!!!

Proximity (00)-Prologue, Proximity (01)-My Place at Six, Proximity (02)-Just My Neighbor, Proximity (03)-Forty Percent

“Don’t think of it as being embarrassing,” (Y/N) heard Chris coo beside her. “We’ve come to understand that Sebastian just loves to brag about his cute neighbor.” She could feel her face fluster and could swear the heat had just kicked on to a sweltering temperature as her palms became clammy and her face got hot. At that point, (Y/N) had refused to look up from the unfolded menu she had buried her face behind and the taunting shifted to Sebastian who’s embarrassment was on par with hers.

“I’m going to head to the ladies room before our food arrives,” Lizzie announced, “care to join me, (Y/N)?”

“Sure,” (Y/N) eagerly accepted and rose from her seat, feeling more comfortable and in control of the situation as her body elongated and she paced away from the men.

“I’m sorry about that,” she sighed as soon as they were away from the table.

“You have nothing to apologize for,” (Y/N) reassured Elizabeth as she held the bathroom door open and the each stopped in front of a sink and looked at one another’s reflection.

“It’s so painful to watch when the decided to heckle one another.” She paused, allowing the warm water to rush over her freezing hands before turning back to the guest in her company. “I mean, it’s not fair for them to tease Sebastian so relentlessly for liking someone like you.” Had (Y/N) not already gotten the impression that Elizabeth was a sweet and caring person, her comment would have been taken as bitchy, but since she was the only person that hadn’t drawn attention to the awkwardness of the situation, (Y/N) decided to hear her out.

“Wait, what do you mean?” she asked quietly as a woman and her young daughter entered the restroom.

“By ‘someone like you?’” she questioned while dabbing her hands with a paper towel. “I mean someone so smart, funny, and beautiful. I’m sorry if that came out wrong.”

“No, no, I mean the part that you said about Sebastian liking me,” (Y/N) hurried.

“You didn’t know?” Elizabeth questioned while raising a hand to her mouth, her already large eyes growing in shock as (Y/N)’s confusion strengthened. “Of course you didn’t, you left early.”

“Wait, what?” (Y/N) gasped. Lizzie grabbed (Y/N) by the arm and hurriedly walked toward a refurbished, upholstered bench resting against the wall closest to the door. Setting themselves down, Elizabeth dug through her bag for her phone as she spoke.

“Sebastian hasn’t been able to stop talking about his ‘cute neighbor’ since you fixed his TV,” she explained. “It’s not as thought he’d being aggravating or annoying about it, but he does talk about you just enough to know that he likes you as, well, more than just neighbors.” Elizabeth pulled out her phone and scrolled through the messages until she reached yesterday afternoon.

Sebastian Stan: hey liz…can I get your opinion on something?

Liz Olsen: sure, what’s up?

Sebastian Stan: as a woman, when would you consider it to be too early for a guy to ask you out?

Sebastian Stan: nevermind, it’s stupid

Liz Olsen: nooo, wait! Seb are you talking about (Y/N)?!

Liz Olsen: bc if you are, you’re basically already dating her with how often you say you hang out.

Sebastian Stan: hanging out is different from dating, besides it doesn’t matter. There’s no way of knowing if she likes me so staying friends is easier, right?

Liz Olsen: just test it out! The next time you hang out just act couple-y and if thing feel right, you’ll know if you should push things further or not

“So that’s why he was being all flirty and touchy-feely,” (Y/N) sighed in revelation.

“Keep reading,” she said and pointed to the messages that resumed almost five minutes after (Y/N) left Sebastian’s apartment the previous night.

Liz Olsen: how are things going :D

Sebastian Stan: they’re not. She just left.

Liz Olsen: why??! What happened?!

Sebastian Stan: dunno…things were going great and then she got jumpy and left. I think she’s stressed about work and stuff

Liz Olsen: I’m sure that’s it. If she had a long day she may just want to lie down :/

Liz Olsen: Tom, Anthony, Chris, and I are wanting to hang out together tomorrow. You should come and bring (Y/N). Maybe hanging out with everyone will make her feel more comfortable :)

Sebastian Stan: maybe..we’ll see

As soon as (Y/N) finished the messages, she returned the phone to Lizzie and anxiously chewed on the inside of her lip.

“What do you think about him?” she asked in a quiet and soft voice.

“Sebastian’s great,” (Y/N) stated, “but I don’t have much of anything to offer.”

“What does that mean?” she asked dumbfounded at (Y/N)’s rationale.

“I’m not enough for him. I’m only twenty-one, I’m still in school–honestly I’ve heard him and Mackie give so much shit to Tom about pretty similar qualities that I have,” (Y/N) explained.

“That’s just them being jerks and hazing the new guy,” Lizzie tried to explain to (Y/N).

“But still, if they can say some pretty harsh things about him over the fact that he’s only twenty-one, why is there an exception for me? And who’s to say when that exception will expire?”

“So being younger than him means that you’re not enough?”

“It’s not just that, if I hadn’t been thirteen or fourteen years younger then it would be a bit different, but he was entering high school when I was entering the world. He’s so much more accomplished and distinguished than I could ever hope to be. He’s only exclusively dated actresses and models and I’m just some graduate student who lives below him.”

“What you do for a living doesn’t make you any more or less ‘worth’ someone’s attention, (Y/N),  and the ways we meet people will probably never make sense, but you and Sebastian are too similar emotionally to keep yourselves from enjoying one another’s company and you’re lives are too interconnected through proximity for you to start writing any goodbyes,” Lizzie said softly.

“I’m not writing my goodbyes,” (Y/N) sighed. “I’m not quite ready to say goodbye.”

“And why do you say that?” Elizabeth asked with a smile on her face as the young woman in front of her laughed gently at their situation–two strangers having their first conversation with one another on a bench in a public restroom.

“I guess it’s because I want to know if there really needs to be a goodbye, or if we there would be one if I weren’t trying to force it between us,” (Y/N) replied.

“He’s liked you for a long time,” Lizzie said softly as the pair rose from their seats.

“He’s a great guy, but I may always still have reservations about certain things,” (Y/N) sheepishly admitted.

“And it’s okay to be afraid, just don’t let that fear cause you to abandon something that could be wonderful.”

Fell for You  (Draco x Reader)

“can i have a draco x reader where the reader gets sick or passes out during class?? like really fluffy thanks!!!” thank you so much for your request! hope you like it!

Ever since Slughorn took over as the new Potions professor, class has been nothing short of interesting. The first couple of lessons were challenging since no one really knew what Slughorn was really like, would he be as strict as Snape or caring as Lupin had been? You all soon found out that he was the definition of frazzled, not all quite there, but overall he meant well. And of course, just like Snape, he had his favorites, meaning Harry Potter. That didn’t sit well with most of the Slytherins in the class, but you tried to ignore their nasty remarks towards your friend but sometimes their teasing was too much and as a fellow Gryffindor you had to defend both your friends and your house. But today you weren’t feeling much of the fighting spirit in you, you had a terrible headache and wanted nothing more than to be curled up in bed but alas you trudge your way to class.

You slowly made your way to your seat, but you noticed that Lavander Brown had taken your usual seat since you were late. Probably so she could stare at Ron…The only available seat was next to Draco so you begrudgingly made your way there as Harry and Hermione sent you a sad smile knowing that you were in no mood to put up with the Slytherin Prince.

You weren’t feeling well and it didn’t help that everyone was being extremely chatty today,

“Settle down! Settle down! Ms. Brown, please stop making googly eyes at Mr. Weasley…As I was saying, today we will be making a very challenging potion, the draught of peace! So, let’s get to it!” Slughorn announced, and with that everyone stood up and headed towards the back to grab what they needed. You weren’t surprised to see that everyone pretty much grabbed all of the moonstone powder so you had to wait for someone to be done with theirs so you could start.

But it looked like everyone was taking their sweet time getting set up and actually starting the potion.

“I’m almost done adding the powder, you can have it after it.” Draco said to you once you sat down. Were you hallucinating or was Draco Malfoy actually being nice to you? You and Draco never really talked, except for the cordial ‘hello,’ from time to time.

You simply nodded as you tied your hair back, most of the class had ignited their cauldrons and the heat was starting to get to you.

You both worked in silence and had a system of sharing going on, you had the ingredients needed for the second half of the potion and Draco had the beginning ones, so you would switch when you needed to.

“Stir until the potion turns orange, and then add more porcupine quills until the potion turns turquoise.” You read out loud for what seemed to be the third time, the heat in the room was becoming unbearable and you were having a hard time focusing.

“Are you alright Y/L/N?” Draco asked you after the fourth time.

“Um, yeah, never been better,” you said trying to sound convincing.  He simply nodded and went back to his own potion but he wasn’t the only one showing concern for you, Hermione kept shooting you worried looks. After a few more minutes she poured some of her potion into a vial for grading and then made her way towards you, she was expecting a nasty remark from Draco but he simply looked up and nodded towards you, his brow furrowed in concerned.

“Hey, I just finished mine, do you need any help, Y/N?” she asked as she came to stand next to you.

“Hi ‘Mione, and no that’s okay, I’m nearly finished, I just need to get add some more powdered porcupine quills and I’ll be done.” Unbeknownst to you, Draco was listening intently to your conversation. He noticed how quiet you were during breakfast in the Great Hall and how you were late to most of your shared classes. He has a soft spot for you, most of the Slytherins didn’t mess with you in fear of receiving backlash from Draco. Ever since class started he noticed how flushed you were. He was thankful Hermione came over to you because he knew you didn’t really trust him.

He was done with his own potion, and Hermione was helping you out until Ron stole her away because he needed help putting out the fire he created.

“Almost done?” he asked.

“Yeah, I just need to, to…to get a vial and bottle it up.” You said softly, becoming more and more dizzy with every word you spoke.

“Hey, are you okay?” He said looking alarmed by how pale you had turned all of the sudden.

“I’m fi-” Your world turned black before you could answer back.

You were definitely not fine.

You woke up a few hours later with a pounding headache, you slowly opened your eyes, but promptly closed them because of the bright lights of the infirmary. After a few minutes you tried once again with much more success and tried to sit up but felt the room spin out of control once again.

“Woah, take it easy there.” A voice said next to you, soon enough your eyes met the worry ones of none other than Draco Malfoy’s.

“Draco?”

“Yes?”

“What are you doing here?”

“Well after you decided to test out if gravity, Potter and I brought you to Madame Pomfrey.” He said as he softly pushed you back into the plush pillows.

“Where’s Harry?” you asked, not seeing the mess of curls anywhere. Draco’s eyes flickered with something that you’ve never seen before. It wasn’t the usual flicker of annoyance.

“Sorry, your little boyfriend had to go to Quidditch practice. He said he would come by later.” Draco said curtly.

“He’s not my boyfriend.” You said with the same curt tone but before he could say something else you cut him off.

“Wait, don’t you have practice as well? Don’t Slytherins usually practice at the same time and place to piss off our team?”

“Well I skipped today.”

“The Slytherin seeker skipping out on practice? I certainly feel honored, your team must really hate me right now.”

“Yeah, I would definitely watch out for them if I were you.” He chuckled.

“Did you really skipped practice for me?”

“Well, I had to make sure you were okay, I’m not as bad as Potter and Weaslbee make me out to be.” He said, his cheeks turning a soft pink as he rubbed his neck nervously.

“Thank you, Draco.” You said grabbing his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.

“You’re welcome, Y/N.” that was the first time he called you by your first name.

“So, I was thinking, if you’re done testing out gravity, would you like to go with me on the next Hogsmeade trip?”

“Draco Malfoy, are you asking me out on a date?” you said, unable to fight off the smile spreading across your face.

“That depends, if you say yes then yeah I am.” he said, trying to fight off the nerves with his usual debonair.

“It’s a date.” You answered smiling softly, Draco smiled rivaled your own. You were certainly glad that you literally fell for him today.

The Kissing Booth

A SnowBaz fanfiction

Simon

Once a year, usually in the spring, Watford stages a carnival for the students.  It’s usually quite humble, mainly consisting of booths selling small magic trinkets, or snacks like cotton candy, sweets and other classic carnival fare.  There’s always the tiny petting zoo over near the Cloisters, and some years Watford even scrapes enough together to bring in a carousel.  Most of the booths are run by student volunteers, and though everything is by donation, all proceeds go to whichever charity the student body has voted on.

I go every year, mostly for the caramel apples and sweet cider, but this is the first year I’ve been behind the scenes of the carnival and helped at a booth.

In truth, I didn’t even sign up for it, but Agatha hadn’t had a break all day and needed some cotton candy of her own.

I should have told her to find Penny, or Trixie or even Minty.  Anyone but me.

It doesn’t take long for the word to spread that Simon Snow has taken over the Kissing Booth, and mortifyingly the line has doubled in length.  Mostly first or second-year girls, blushing and stammering or swaggering up to the counter with a pronounced sway in their step, with the odd boy interspersed through the line.

It’s not the worst thing that’s ever happened to me – that honour goes to the time in second year that Baz stumbled upon a spell that made my clothes slowly dissipate, garment by garment, in the middle of the dining hall – and after the first two or three quick, cold kisses I start to calm down, but I’m counting the minutes until Agatha comes back.  How she endured hours of this, I cannot comprehend.  That’s just Agatha, I guess.

A redhead drops her donation into the tin and her eyes flit around, meeting me for only a split second at a time, her cheeks aflame.  I try to look as non-threatening as I can and lean forward enough that she can close the rest of the space.  She darts in with a kiss that’s no more than a peck before running over to a giggling pair of who must be her friends, a triumphant grin on her face. She must have been dared.  Poor girl.  I hope I wasn’t her first.

           “Well, well, well.”

My stomach lurches at the cold drawl I know only too well.

“What are you doing here, Baz?” I say in as civilized a tone as I can manage.

He stands there with his arms crossed over his chest, his mouth in a twist that’s a bit too amused to be a sneer.  “When I heard that the Chosen One had taken over the Snogging Booth, I simply had to see it for myself.”

“Well, now you’ve seen it, so now you can go.”

“Saving the World of Mages one kiss at a time,” Baz murmurs with a chuckle.  “Not exactly what I was envisioning.”

“I’m only covering for Agatha,” I retort, “she’ll be back in five minutes if you’re wanting her services.”

He scoffs.  “I’d rather not snog your girlfriend, thank you very much.”

“She’s not my – forget it,” I shake my head.  I’ve told him at least a dozen times, but it never stops him.

“She must have been really desperate for a break to put you in charge,” Baz drawls on, his voice smooth like honey but with too much of a bite to be sweet.  “You’d think she’d at least pick someone attractive for the Kissing Booth.”

It stings, but I don’t flinch.  “What, someone like you?” I spit back too fast.

His eyebrows shoot up in delighted surprise as I realize my mistake.  “You flatter me, Snow,” he purrs, and I feel my cheeks heat up, but I furrow my brow tighter and hope it passes for anger.

“Is there a reason you’re still here?” I growl as the burning spreads from my cheeks to my ears.

“As a matter of fact, there is,” Baz says, and his gray eyes look cool enough to staunch the flames at the tips of my ears, but the more I glare into them the more the fire rages.  “I’m here to torment you.”

           “Great, well you’ve done that.”

“I wanted to see what you’d do.”  He leans on the edge of the counter, bringing his face far too close to mine for comfort. “What would the Mage’s Heir do if his nemesis showed up at the Kissing Booth?”

“You can torment me any time,” I shoot back, “you’re holding up the line.”

“Oh, yes, well,” he feigns conern, “I wouldn’t want to keep anyone from their kiss.”

           “Then go away.”

His eyes narrow and he pretends to think.  “Mmm, no.  I don’t think so.”

           “Baz, I’m warning you.”

“Terrifying,” he drones, “but this is too much fun.  Besides,” his eyebrow flickers up, “don’t you owe me a kiss?”

I flash him a smirk of my own.  “Aw, Baz. If you were so desperate for a kiss, you could’ve just asked.”

Baz, to his credit, doesn’t bat an eye.  “You think of that comeback yourself?”

“There’s a fee, you know,” I ignore him, barely having to raise my voice above a murmur for him to hear me, he’s so close.  “You haven’t paid the fee, so I don’t owe you anything.”

He doesn’t drop his eyes from mine, and the cool gray takes on the spark of a challenge.  Out of my periphery I see him reach into his pocket, and there’s the clatter of coins dropping into the tin.

           I should punch him.

I should spit in his face.

I wanted to see what you’d do.

I take him by the lapels and crush his mouth under mine.

He makes a muffled sound of shock.  To be fair, so do I, but mine is more angry than it is surprised.  I kiss him hard and rough, and it’s a bit of a juxtaposition because his mouth is oddly soft.  A face like his, you’d expect his lips to be made of marble, cold and unmoving, but he’s the farthest thing from unmoving.  I can’t tell if he’s struggling or if he’s kissing me back but his lips are so, so soft and I want to bruise them, mark them, bite them…

I only stop when a series of wolf whistles reminds me that there are at least ten people watching us.

Trying to salvage the illusion of control, I break away harshly, still gripping him by his collar.  The cocky smirk has dropped from his smooth features and now his face mirrors mine, a matching scowl, like I’ve crossed a dangerous line.  I probably have.

“Was that what you wanted?” I growl.

He doesn’t answer, just holds my gaze another few seconds before pushing back from the table, his lapels slipping out of my hands, and stalking away.

I don’t see Baz at the carnival after that, and I stay as long as the booths are open, perusing the same counters and feigning interest even after having looked through their contents three times.  I keep Penny company where she mans the popcorn booth, drizzling caramel over every few cartons, and I even get bored enough to hang around Agatha back at the Kissing Booth for a little while, until one too many patrons have asked if I’m available for service.  When she and Penny are freed we pet the goats at the petting zoo, the ones that Ebb has graciously volunteered for the event, and take a few spins on the carousel.  Only once the light has begun to fade and the signs are being lowered from their booths do the three of us part ways.  Even then, I offer to help Ebb get her goats back safely.

Basically, I’m doing anything I can to put off going back to the room, but eventually I can’t avoid it any longer.  I’ve wandered the grounds enough times that the sun has properly disappeared behind the distant hills and I can barely see the ground in front of me. Even then I’m tempted to consider crazy alternatives like spending the night at Ebb’s place, but I’m pretty sure that would be against school rules anyway, and besides, I’ll have to face Baz eventually.  There’s no undoing what’s happened.

When I finally trudge back into the room, he’s staring out the window at the moat, presumably trying to intimidate the merwolves, but he turns at the sound of the door.  His expression, though I don’t see it for long before I look away, is hard to read. Wide eyes and a furrowed brow, like he’s still mad at me for my stunt earlier, but there’s a bit of a questioning edge there, too.  Almost a where were you edge.

Normally I have to start any type of conversation, but tonight he wastes no time. “What the hell was that, Snow?”

There’s no question as to what he’s referring, and I can’t help but get angry again.  “Me? You’re the one who had to start something!”

“Well, you didn’t have to react so drastically,” he mutters, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall by the window, the moonlight casting its glow on his skin and making him even paler than usual, almost transparent.  I half expect fangs to slide out from his lips for no reason and complete the picture.

           His soft, soft lips.

“You were egging me on,” I seethe, the memory igniting the rage that I’d felt in the fractured moment before kissing him, “it’s your fault anything happened.”

“Proud little hero,” Baz says with the slightest smirk, “can’t back down from a challenge.”

“You know I can’t, not in front of people.”

“Wouldn’t want them to think the Heir is a coward.”

I feel like a balloon in me is swelling and deflating at once.  “But that’s just it, Baz,” I insist, anger momentarily aside.  “If they think I’m afraid, what reason do they have to hope?”

He doesn’t answer right away, and for a second I think maybe he understands. I want so badly for him to understand.

“No reason,” Baz eventually says, turning to look out the window again, “not with someone like you as the Chosen One.”

I want to groan, to kick something, to shake him by the shoulders and make him look me in the eye and for once not fight me.  Have we ever in our lives made eye contact without there being some challenge between us?

“Why did you have to get in that line?” I shake my head.  “There are so many other ways of tormenting me, lower-stakes ways.”

“To be fair, I’ve already exhausted most of those,” Baz murmurs with a little shrug of his shoulders.

“When have you ever been fair?”

           “Touché.”

I’m tired of standing here at the door, so I kick off my shoes and sit down on my bed, trying not to think about how much closer I am to him now, still at the window, looking as vampiric as ever.  His gray eyes are positively silver in the moonlight, and the black of his hair looks silkier than ever, as if it’s soaking the rays directly into him. He almost glows.  I have to laugh a little, because more than once Baz has mockingly compared me, with my bronze curls and sky-blue eyes, to the sun, but he himself wears a halo of night.  If I am the sun, then Baz is most certainly the moon.  Distant, cold, mysterious, almost too pristine to touch.

His gaze returns to me suddenly.  He raises an eyebrow in a wordless inquiry, and I realize I’ve been staring.

“What exactly was it you expected me to do?”

“At what point, Snow?” he gives a humourless laugh.  “You had more than one opportunity to react.”

           “When you paid the fee.”

His tiny smile disappears.  “It doesn’t matter.”

           “It does.”

“Drop it, Snow,” he says, the hardness returning to his eyes, and I know I’ve cornered him.  Drop it is Baz’s way of betraying himself, of saying there’s something that he doesn’t want to tell.

“Was I supposed to kiss you?” I ask.  For some reason I have to know.

           “No.”

           “Then what?”

“I don’t know, Snow, punch me.  Push me. Beat me to the ground.  Something.”

My brow furrows in confusion.  “Wait. You wanted me to hit you?”

He shrugs, more with his head than his shoulder.  “One of us has to get hurt, right?”

I rise to my feet, and I’m face-to-face with him again, only his eyes are different this time.  Whereas at the booth he had betrayed no hint of doubt at our closeness, now there’s a flicker of something in the silver, something that feels a lot like the way my heart is racing in my chest, and it dawns on me.  He was putting on a show at the carnival, acting like nothing I could do would get to him, just as I had been.

If they think I’m afraid, what reason do they have to hope?

One of us has to get hurt, right?

           And suddenly it makes sense.

There’s only a few inches between us, so it feels almost natural when I lean in and press the gentlest of kisses to his lips.

He doesn’t kiss me back this time, but he doesn’t move away either.  “What was that for?” he asks when I draw back a second later.

“You act like we’re so different,” I say wonderingly, “but we’re the same.”

           “How?”

“What do you think we’d be if we didn’t have to fight each other?”

I don’t miss the split second of longing in his eyes.  “Keep dreaming, Snow.”

“Because I bet it would involve a lot more of this.”  I bring a hand up to his neck, my fingers instantly lost in the wavy tips of his hair and it’s exactly as soft as it looks bathed in moonlight.

Baz closes his eyes like he has to collect himself.  “You’re the hero.  I’m the villain.  What more do I have to say?”

“Fuck that,” I chuckle, “we both know that’s not true.  You’re a boy, and I’m a boy.  That’s all.”

“Tell that to the rest of the world.”

“I don’t care about the rest of the world,” I shake my head adamantly, “I want to know what you think.”

           “About what?”

“If there was no act, no reputation, no role to play,” I murmur, “if we were just two boys, what would you do?”

Baz returns my gaze a moment, searching my eyes.

Then his lashes close and he’s kissing me, and my eyes drift shut again like I’m sighing in relief.

I let my fingers tangle higher up in his hair while my other hand grips the front of his shirt like earlier, only without the anger of the afternoon.  He angles his head further and guides the kiss deeper, his hands gently gripping my waist and pulling me closer.  I melt against him, my mouth moving with his, my head swimming with his citrusy scent, and I can’t hold back the moan that escapes my throat when he takes my bottom lip between his teeth in a gentle tug. Suddenly I’m floating, weightless, and Baz gives a muffled sound of surprise when I press back a little harder.

When we finally break apart, both of us gasping and dizzy, I immediately want more, want to line his neck with my mouth, want to feel his breath hitch when I reach the base of his throat, want to hear my name in his sigh.  Would he sigh Snow or Simon?  I want to know.

“Please,” I whisper, dotting a kiss to the corner of his mouth, “can’t we just be two boys?”

When I meet his eyes, they’re full of more longing than ever.

In response, he kisses a soft, slow triangle pattern on my cheek, and I recognize the pattern of the three moles by my eye, and I can’t help but smile.

“We can try.”

Growing up, people told Y/n that you could die from a broken heart—that the stress on your heart strings could weaken, and all that’s left is the pain in your chest.

Y/n thought her heart would fail her, rupture all that’s left of her and leave her body to decompose. She believed that, if her broken heart wasn’t going to kill her, loneliness and lack of sleep would push her towards her end.

Moving on—something that seemed so simple yet so impossible for Y/n to do.

When the hurt in her chest and the hallucinations from exhaustion started to become too much for her to handle, she was willing to do anything to help herself. She started taking up yoga sessions, started writing music, even started cooking in an attempt to bring herself back from whatever hell she was in.

She even considered moving on; meeting a man at a bar and getting to know more about him rather than his drink order. But something seemed so wrong about that—something was unsettled inside of her at the thought of being with someone who wasn’t Harry.

The image of Jessica in Harry and Y/n’s t-shirt was enough to haunt her nearly every hour of the day. She started going mental, constantly wondering what they were doing together in the moments she was most vulnerable. She wondered about their love life, their future, their interests. She thought about everything.

It wasn’t until Gabby was determined to mend the broken girl raiding her house, finding any possible excuse to give her a sense of life again, that Y/n found the slightest bit of hope.

Y/n was losing it, entirely, and Gabby refused to continue being a bystander.

Gabby had set Y/n up on a blind date only a couple weeks back, practically begging her to seize every opportunity she possibly can to get over Harry. It was all Gabby could do to help her, considering nothing quite helped Y/n’s well-being since the breakup.

“Oh, he’s just so perfect!” Gabby squealed, clapping her hands before gripping tightly around Y/n’s wrists in excitement. “He’s gorgeous! Amazing blue eyes—breathtaking, really! And he’s so sweet, Y/n! I haven’t met a single person who’s disliked him and he’s such an amazing photographer! And his teeth! His teeth are marvelous! Do you know how hard it is nowadays to find a man with nice teeth? I mean—“

By then, Y/n had dozed off, and it wasn’t for any personal reason against Gabby; she’s appreciated every bit of hard work to help her through the heartbreak Y/n’s been dealing with nearly half of a year now. It’s just that she wasn’t ready to move on, not that she didn’t want to.

It had been nearly five months, which may seem like such an abundance of time to rid feelings for somebody, but did time really help moving on from someone she’d planned to spend the rest of her life with? It seemed nearly impossible. She could barely see herself looking at other men in a romantic sense, how could she see herself going on a date with somebody? Especially when she was still in love with somebody else?

She was biting the bullet with letting time heal her, but she felt that was the only way. Nothing more could help her. If anything, she believed dating would make it worse, if she were being honest.

But the look of excitement Gabby had at the mere thought of Y/n being happy again was something Y/n found nearly impossible to resist. Besides, she had definitely been overstaying her welcome at Gabby’s house no matter how much Gabby’s tried to deny it and has put so much stress onto her that maybe, just maybe, doing this one favor for all that she’s done for her.

“So, what do you say?”

Y/n blinked harshly when Gabby’s voice drowned out all the scrambled thoughts in her head, shaking her head slightly to regain her understanding of reality.

“What?”

“Monmouth Coffee Shop at noon tomorrow. Dan really wants to meet you, Y/n! Please!”

Y/n’s eyes widened, snapping her head up to meet Gabby’s hopeful eyes.

“The Monmouth?! Are you crazy?! That’s Harry’s favorite coffee shop, you know that! Dan and Harry probably know each other, that’s how much he goes there!”

Gabby’s eyes narrowed as her lips pursed, gaze directing toward the ceiling in thought.

“Harry? Harry who? I don’t remember who that is, never heard that name in my life.”

Her tone reeked with sarcasm, which made Y/n’s eyes nearly roll to the back of her head. As much as she wished Gabby’s negative remarks about Harry were comedic, there was always something about them that infuriated her. She always supposed it was the instinctual aspect of loving someone so much.

Gabby sighed as she reached her hand up to rub Y/n’s shoulder gently.

“Look,” she began, “you’re my best friend and I hate seeing you like this. You’re not the same Y/n I always knew, and I think you see yourself that way, too. And in all honesty, I don’t give a fuck about Harry anymore. As sadistic and twisted as it sounds, I don’t care about his emotions, or how he feels. He did this to you. He killed a part of you and I feel it’s my obligation to help you through this. So, please, go out with Dan tomorrow. He works at Monmouth, he’ll meet you before his shift starts at 1:30.”

Gabby’s arm slid off of Y/n’s shoulder at the shadow of uncertainty behind her eyes. Even though Gabby understood all the pain and hesitation, she didn’t want to see Y/n suffer another day. She just couldn’t.

“Please,” she whimpered, “Dan has been the only sense of hope I’ve gotten to make you happy again. Just do this one thing, please? And if it doesn’t work, then you can blame me. I’m just trying here.”

Y/n coughed slightly, her inability to say no wearing off of her at Gabby’s desperate pleads. It was an opportunity to turn things back around in her life, and if it didn’t go as planned, she really didn’t have anything more to lose.

She nods her head softly.

“Yeah—yeah, okay. I’ll meet him.”

Maybe this would be good for her.

Dan is lovely, always caring for Y/n and making sure she feels like loyalty whenever she’s around. He puts her first, in everything, and made a rule that the date can’t end until I hear you laugh at least six times.

It’s cute, really, how effortless he is at giving someone so much attention. Y/n likes it—loves it, even, but it still never feels right to her. She sees something with him, but nothing long term, not in the way she sees Harry.

But he’s good for her now, when she’s at her worst and needs someone to be there for her. He’s able to provide her with the company she desperately needs in order to cure the possible fatalities that came with her broken heart.

“Thank you for the coffee, it was great.” Y/n smiles softly, her cheeks blushing slightly as she traces the rim of her coffee cup.

It’s nearly their tenth date, and they still meet at the Monmouth at noon before his shift. It’s become a routine for them, meeting together at noon before Dan drops her off at the parking station. It became something they both looked forward to throughout their week, and soon became more of a tradition between them.

Dan grins, almost instinctively wrapping his arms around Y/n’s shoulders so that her head makes rest on his chest. He sighs, pressing a small kiss to the top of her head before resting his chin where his lips once were.

“Of course. I’ll be getting out at around 6 o‘clock so maybe I can stop by for a few? Maybe watch a movie?”

He knows the answer before she says it—his constant attempts to get closer to her always seeming to fail. There’s always a hesitation, or always an excuse to prevent them from being alone together.

He’s well aware that there are parts of her that need to be fixed, still being completely destructed by her ex-lover. He’s tried tirelessly to get her to open up and to trust him, but there’s a thick barrier still in their way of each other. It disheartens him, to know she refuses to let him in.

She sighs, guilt evident in her breath as she softly pushes away from him.

She does that often, he’s noticed it.

She feels horrible for doing so every time. Everything between them has remained stagnant, nothing being built so that nothing could be knocked down. It’s not that Y/n doesn’t trust him, it’s that Y/n doesn’t trust herself. She’s still in love with someone else, and she can’t hurt Dan—not in that way.

“I think I’m just going to—“

“Yeah, I know.” Dan nods, arms moving to cross at his chest, “I get it. Just like every other time.”

Y/n reaches her shaking fingers to brush her hair behind her ear, guilt flashing in her eyes as she refuses to meet his gaze. She’s familiar with the look he has on his face well enough to know he’s upset again, being constantly shut down by her.

“I’m so sorry, Dan.” She whispers, “But I’m trying. I want to keep trying with you. If you let me.”

He looks unconvinced, as he’s been hearing this for a while now. But something inside of him can’t quit her, no matter how much his intuition tells him she’s a dead end. Maybe he feels sorry for her on a level he’s never felt sorrow for somebody else. No matter how much she hides it, she really does need him. Not in a romantic level, but she does need him to show her that he cares for her and that he’ll always be there. She needs that sense of security, and he’s the only one that can provide it for her.

“Yeah,” he nods, “we can keep trying. It’s okay, I’m here for you.“

Harry had been living in his studio for the past couple of weeks. It certainly wasn’t ideal, but it was much better than sleeping on his and Y/n’s bed—alone.

That’s all he’s felt since their break up—lonely. It’s quite strange, considering Harry had millions of supporters, an entire band throughout his solo career, and producers around him nearly every hour of the day. He used to complain that he never had alone time anymore, that between all the constant traveling and being at the peak of his career, it was hard to find time for himself.

But now, in the midst of everything happening in his life, he wishes to feel that sort of hustle again.

Y/n was the person that kept him grounded through everything. She was the one consistency in his life, which gave him all the more reasons to love her. Whenever he was overwhelmed with the pressure put on him, or feeling homesick during his travels, she was always the one to keep him at bay and give him a sense of clarity.

Home hadn’t become a house, instead, Y/n’s heart. Wherever she was, he felt at home. Even when she was half way across the world, it was her voice that brought him back and reminded him that, no matter how much he missed the walls of familiarity, home was always a phone call away. She gave him that sense of comfort everywhere she went, it was truly amazing.

And when he broke up with Y/n, he didn’t think of how much everything around him would be affected. He thought time would do them best—would help mend the relationship that seemed to be collapsing beneath their feet. Their connections were lost, replaces by uncomfortable silences and unbarring arguments.

He didn’t think of the consequences when he did it. He didn’t think about how lost he’d become, or how he had no place to call home, or how there was no consistency in his life anymore. There were so many aspects of his life that Y/n had given him—so much of them that he didn’t realize until she moved out.

It was the exact reason he started dating Jessica. She was a great distraction, a beautiful woman to take his mind off of everything.

They weren’t much of anything. Nothing about them was exclusive besides what the media saw of them: boyfriend and girlfriend moving in together in London. It was far from the truth, really. He was with her to terminate his dry spell and rid his loneliness, and she was with him because he infatuated her.

He ended it all, though, that same morning Y/n found Jessica wearing their shirt. The entire incident gave him a realization; that nobody could fill his void like Y/n did.

The fear of losing her forever and making her believe he was in love with somebody else was enough to break him out of his selfish ways. She had been waiting for him for months, and when he returned, he wasn’t the same man he was.

Not only did Harry know that Y/n lost all her faith in him—he lost all faith in himself, as well.

“I’m so screwed, Nick. I fucked up everything. Everything.”

Harry was laying with his back flat against the studio couch, hands rubbing down his face as he tried to steady his harsh breathing.

It was just after he had run into Y/n at the grocery store, where she had seen Jessica wearing Harry and Y/n’s t-shirt. Although he was practically mute during the encounter, everything hit him at once after Y/n and Gabby walked out.

He called Nick in a hurry, incoherent and completely disoriented from the tears he’d broken down into. Everything he thought would be mended completely fell down on them—all because of him.

“Jessica was wearing the shirt with the—fuck, you know the shirt, and Y/n saw and she was such a mess, Nick. I didn’t even say anything to her, she was practically begging me to say something and I didn’t say a word.”

Nick sat cross-armed on one of the chairs, directly across from Harry. He wished he could have felt remorse seeing Harry in such distress, however, he never agreed with Harry’s actions and made it clear numerous times. In his eyes, this was karma’s ticking time bomb.

“You tend to be a real jackass sometimes, you know that?”

Harry lifted himself up so that he could sit properly. His body slumped against the back of the couch, head rested in his palm as he coughed uncomfortably at Nick’s choice of words.

“You let go of the best thing that’s ever happened to you and then you just move on, as if she meant nothing, and you think you just fucked it all up now? Over the goddamn t-shirt?”

Harry scowled at him.

“I haven’t moved on, and it’s more than just a t-shirt, you know that. That was ours.” Harry defended, glaring over at his direction.

“So why was Jessica wearing it after you fucked her on the bed you and Y/n shared every night for the past three years?”

Something about Nick’s words gave Harry a foul taste in his mouth. As much as he wished Nick didn’t say it in that way, that’s exactly what Harry did, and knowing he had to live with that for the rest of his life made his stomach flip inside of him.

He really did fuck it up. Nothing he did was excusable, nothing he did was forgivable. He betrayed the one woman he loved so dearly—the one woman he’d always consider his soulmate. He really, really fucked it up.

He gulped as he tried to find words to justify himself. There was really nothing he could say.

“She—she had just put it on while I was sleeping and when—when I noticed she just wouldn’t shut up about breakfast and I couldn’t just be like ‘Hey, Jess, could you take off that shirt? That belonged to me and my ex-girlfriend and I don’t appreciate it?’ How could I do that?”

He sighed, leaning his face into the palm of his hands as he looked back onto his experiences with Jessica. Was it all worth it? Was she really worth all of this?

“She means nothing to me, Nick. I lost the girl I love for somebody who doesn’t mean anything to me.” He whispered, “How do I live knowing that?”

It’s nearly two in the afternoon when Harry finally decides to leave his studio. He’s been working on some songs he found himself writing during his free time, something he found therapeutic throughout the past couple of months.

Recording and writing have become the only distractions that seem to work for Harry. Everything else became temporary. Writing out his emotions and singing the words he wishes he could say has been the only sense of closure he’s had in a while.

“Dan! Long time no see!” Harry smiles when he enters Monmouth, a familiar face being something he finds so relieving.

Dan looks up from his register, reaching over the counter to give Harry a hug as he greets him enthusiastically.

“Haven’t seen you in quite a while. On your lunch break?”

Harry nods as his eyes squint, reaching for the back of his neck as he reads over the menu.

“Yeah, kind of in a hurry today if you don’t mind. Can I just get a medium coffee with almond milk, please? And a slice of apple pie, feeling kind of brisk today.”

Dan works his fingers across the cash register, yelling out his order to the barista before making small talk about the weather. Considering Harry hasn’t been seen in Monmouth nearly as much as he used to, they both found it nice to catch up with each other for the short while they’ve been distanced.

When Dan reaches over to give Harry his spare change, an all too familiar silver ring catches his attention immediately. At first glance, he swears his heart stopped beating.

There’s no way, there’s just no way that could be the ring Harry gave to Y/n. Dan and Y/n have never met before, considering she had only visited here a handful of times during Harry’s lunch break. And even then, she would just stand patiently by the door while Harry waited to retrieve his order.

There’s just no way, but the top of the rose has a particular rust on it that resembles Harry’s perfectly—and no matter how long it’s been since he’s seen it, he’ll never forget what it looks like.

Harry’s hand grips onto Dan’s wrist instead of reaching out to grab the spare change laying upon his palm, flipping over his hand to inspect the silver ring snug almost too perfectly around his finger. He’s aggressive, movements harsh and face tight with anger, but at this point in time, the last thing Harry’s worried about is Dan’s slightly intimidated composure.

“Where did you get this?”

Unlike his demeanor, his voice is soft and breaking between each word. There’s an unrecognizable shift in his eyes when he sees the wear and tear Harry knows he caused before gifting it to Y/n. This is most definitely his, and knowing Y/n was the one who gave it to him makes him nearly throw up all the contents in his stomach.

“Girlfriend gave it to me,” Dan smiles “well, not really my girlfriend yet. But you know how they are. I told her I liked it and she insisted I have it.”

Harry swallows the lump in his throat, making him nearly whimper when he opens his mouth to speak.

He’s never felt so much pain before. The breaking that was once only in his heart spread like wildfire across every bone and ligament in his body. It burns, the sudden realization that Y/n has a boyfriend, that Y/n is no longer going to be there—waiting for him—the way he always expected her to be, that Y/n has taken it upon herself to seek revenge on him so that he can feel everything she felt that one Sunday morning at the grocery store.

And it’s then he realizes that this is nothing compared to everything he’s put her through. In his favor, this is just a stupid ring her gave her for her birthday because he loved the way she twisted it around his finger. It didn’t have much value between them, just something small they shared. He couldn’t imagine the hurt he would have now, standing her, if Dan were wearing their Lover t-shirt.

“Wh—What’s her name?”

His voice is in a whisper now, only the slightest bit of hope draining from his body when he hears Dan speak again.

“Y/n. She’s a good girl, you’d like her.”

Harry almost laughs. You’d like her. He has no idea, he’s in love with her.

It’s as if every part of Harry’s body begins to shut down. Maybe it’s from the shock, or the overbearing pain he feels in his chest, but he suddenly begins to feel lightheaded. His muscles turn numb and all his orientation seems to scramble as if he’s intoxicated.

Dan’s eyes narrow when he sees all the color drain from his face, his eyes widened and soaked with tears. He watches as he nearly falls backward, only to balance himself with his foot when he takes a proper step away from the counter.

“Harry? Harry, you alright?”

Never fucking say my name again is the first proper thought that his brain can register. But his throat is tight and his tongue is numb. He attempts to take a breath of air, but he feels like his lungs are collapsing in his chest, preventing him from doing anything besides stumble uncoordinatedly out of the Monmouth doors.

He’s falling apart—that’s exactly what it feels like. He feels like every limb is falling from his body as he walks towards his car. He doesn’t know exactly how he’s moving, even if he’s stumbling on his own two feet and colliding into stranger’s bodies as he does so, he doesn’t understand how his body finds the strength to keep moving.

Y/n moved on. Y/n’s dating Dan. Y/n gave his ring to him. It’s all over, everything is over.

“No” he mumbles frantically, jealously flowing in his veins, chest heaving from the sobs that are threatening to spill out of him, “no, no no no.”

He starts to wonder where he’s missed it, and exactly how long it’s been since Y/n moved on. She was so broken at the grocery store the other week; what could have possibly altered her feelings that quickly? Did Dan really impact her that much?

But that’s his girl. Y/n is his girl, she’s the one he was so sure he was going to spend the rest of his life with. Even with Jessica, even with everything that’s happened, Y/n is his soulmate, and there isn’t anything in the world that can convince him otherwise.

Nobody is going to take her from him. He refuses to believe she belongs to somebody that isn’t him; there isn’t an atom in his body that doubts their companionship.

Before he thinks twice—before he really gives himself a chance to stop himself—Harry slides his cell phone out of his back pocket once he reaches his car. He slumps against the hood as his fingers work furiously across his screen.

There has to be something, at least some sort of proof that this is really happening to him, that this isn’t in a nightmare he can easily wake himself out of. There had to have been a hint, a warning for him to have. She would have never moved on without saying something to him. They were so strong together, she would have never left without closure.

Nothing about it makes sense.

And then, he sees it.

He falls to his knees, hitting the concrete harshly below him. His body gave out from beneath him, his muscles and bones failing him.

It’s there, right in front of him, mocking him and all the shitty decisions he’s made. It’s there—on Y/n’s private Instagram page—a picture of Dan holding Y/n’s hand on top of a table in Monmouth, Harry’s ring wrapped perfectly around his pointer finger.

Steele rose has never looked so good xx.

Authors Note: Hey guys! Just to let you know, the boys’ dialogue is written in italics, I’m sorry for any confusion and I hope you enjoy :)

To you Justin Foley was the new boy next door. He was cheeky and incredibly flirtatious with you, even when he caught your eye at school he still managed to make you smile. Your parents initially had their personal reservations about Justin because of his troublesome background but they soon came around to loving him, as did you. Justin would always catch you on your way to school so you two could walk in together “Morning, beautiful” “Sup, Foley”

Being a new transfer student to Liberty High, you were surprised to have received an invite to the upcoming weekend house party. Despite parties not being your favourite social setting you figured it would be the best way to meet new people and make friends. Here, you met Alex. The boy with the impeccable fashion taste and sarcastic tongue. “Hey, it’s Y/N right?” “Yeah, Alex? I think you’re in my music class?” “ That’s me, it’s nice to see someone with some social depth at one of these things” “Thanks, I’m guessing you’re having copious amounts of fun then?” “It’s a party, so I’m pretending to have fun. Clay Jenson:

Over the summer your parents had practically forced you to take a job at the towns local theatre, in an attempt to help grow your independence as well as simply getting you out of the house; a decision you honestly didn’t feel too fondly about. The only positive to your first day at work was meeting Clay. Clay Jenson. He was adorably awkward and sweet, making you physically unable to stop smiling whenever you were around him. Somehow this one guy made the rest of your working summer seem exciting. “Hey Clay, maybe I was wrong. Maybe this summer won’t suck that much after all.” “It won’t, well… not if I can help it, Y/N.”

Your best friend Clay Jenson had lost yet another bet with his older friend, Jeff Atkins. Thus resulting in the both of you attending a generic and seemingly underwhelming high school party. Personally, you had never had the pleasure of meeting Jeff until that unexpectedly amazing night. Clay had always admired the guy, which made Jeff’s perfect first impression to you even more genuine. The two of you instantly hit it off. “I’m sorry Jenson but where on earth have you been hiding Y/N? She’s crazy beautiful.”

Despite seeing Zach around the corridors of Liberty High and catching his more than impressive performance in the odd couple of basketball games, the two of you had never really been given the opportunity to speak. That was until Mrs Bradley decided to pair you two up for a class project. Zach was a lot sweeter than you had imagined and the two of you ended up getting along really well. “Not going to lie, Y/N, I’m kinda sad this little project is over.” “Really?” “Yeah, now I need to find another good excuse to hang out with you everyday.”

Request: “Hey! Can you write a JeffxReader? Where the reader is Clay sister (and have a secret crush on Jeff), someday she was going to sleep in Hanna’s house, but for some reason she didn’t stay to sleep and when she go home she find Jeff slepping in her bed. You can choose how it ends. Thank you! :D”

Words: 1.247

A/N: I am happy that I received a Jeff imagine! Although I didn’t want to leave Hannah alone, because I can imagine the reader being on the tapes after because of it. Yup, I am a little bit paranoid. Sorry. Anyways, I hope you like it and I would be grateful if you send other requests!
Thank you.

Link: Part 2

Warning: (Y/H/C) is Your Hair Colour.

“Oh my God, you seriously like Jeff Atkins?” Hannah exclaimed excitedly and energetically as she knew the secret you’ve been keeping for years.

“Who wouldn’t like him?” You stated as if it was normal to like Jeff. Well, he was good looking, kind and funny. He had the characteristics you were looking for a boy and you knew that he was the one when you met him.

“Aw, I hope he likes you back.” Hannah honestly said as she played with your (Y/H/C) hair while you both sat on her comfortable double bed. You decided to have a sleepover because it has been awhile since you last spent time together. She was one of your close friends and you loved her presence.

“Well, he’s older than me and I am out of his league.” You shrugged your shoulders as you felt a little bit down for what you’ve just said.

“Oh, cut it off! You are beautiful, intelligent and sweet, it is impossible to not fall in love with you.” Hannah comforted you as she praised you with her sincere words.

“Aw, Hannah.” You looked at her with a wide smile and you hugged her. “Thank you.”

“It was the truth.” She hugged you back as a nice friend she was.

“Talking of these boys,” You started as you broke the hug and she hid her face behind her hands as she already knew the next question. “how are you and my older brother, Clay?” You flashed a smirk and you saw her cheeks turned red.

“Oh my God, I knew it.” She laughed, still having her face hidden. “We’re friends, (Y/N). We work at the movie theatre and we talk at school, that’s it.”

“Jesus, Clay never asked you out?” You shook your head for your disappointment because you rooted for them being together. You considered Clay and Hannah as a perfect couple.

“He’s shy.” Hannah shortly answered.

“But it’s not an excuse! I would slap that dork silly, seriously.” You unleashed a long and deep sigh because Hannah seemed disappointed too and her being dismayed was one of the things you wouldn’t want to see. “I’ll talk to him, because I know that he likes you too, a lot!”

“Geez, really?” Hannah smiled widely and you nodded happily as her happiness came back once again.

“You can count on that!” You winked at her and she bit her lower lip. You stared at each other and you both let out some soft giggles for no reason, but it was interrupted as you heard some noise coming from the living room.

There was a discussion happening between Hannah’s parents and you could tell that she felt embarrassed for it. She hated it when they fought and having a friend hearing their complaints wasn’t one of the things that she wanted to happen.

“Are you okay, Hannah?” You worriedly asked and she just shook it off, obviously avoiding herself to ask you some help.

“(Y/N), do you mind if we cancel this sleepover?” She fidgeted with her warm blankets as she was nervous for your possible reaction.

“Oh no, it’s fine for me if you don’t feel comfortable. I mean, I would stay to cheer you up, but I will give you space if you want.” You sympathetically said as you understood her situation.

“I am fine, really.” She assured you. “I will call you if I ever need some help. Thank you.”

“Don’t bother to call me, okay?” You reminded her once again as you got up from her bed. You gathered your things and you put them in your backpack.

“Noted.” She smiled widely at you, not minding her parents anymore. She got up too and you both went outside her room as she led you to the house’s front door. Her parents stopped throwing shit at each other as they saw you going away and you could say that they felt guilty because of it.

“Good night, Hannah.” You sweetly greeted. “Call me or text me, okay? I am always here.”

“I know and I thank you for that.” She hugged you and you responded to it by hugging her back. “Good night.” She then let you go.

“Good night, see you tomorrow.” You said as you unlocked your bike’s chains. You then rode it as you said goodbye to Hannah once again. She watched you as you started to pedal way back home.

During your journey, you thought of Hannah’s family situation and you knew that it wasn’t your business but you wanted to help her. You wanted to help her, because you didn’t want for it to be one of the reasons she would feel sad or disappointed. Her life was already hard and you didn’t want for her to carry another problem on her back.

Once you arrived home, you silently went to your room, not wanting to wake anybody up. You plopped your things on your desk and you let yourself fall on the bed carelessly.

“What the fuck, Clay?!” You heard a deep voice complaining and you were shocked, mostly scared, for a moment. You were afraid to move, but you quickly searched for the lamp that rested on your bedside table and you turned the lights on. “Oh, it’s you (Y/N)!”

“What the hell are you doing in my room, Jeff?” You corrugated your forehead as you wondered why. You liked Jeff, but you knew that you had the right to be furious after what happened.

“Clay said that you were staying at Hannah’s!” Jeff sat up as he covered his shirtless body. “Boys can have sleepover too, duh!”

“Jeez!” You laughed even though you were annoyed. “I am sleeping on the couch downstairs then.”

“No, I am sleeping there. This is your bed and it’s not okay to let a woman sleep uncomfortably.” He ranted as he searched for his shirt and wore it soon after.

“It’s okay, Jeff. Stay here.” You flashed him a smile and you got up from your bed, ready to go out of the room.

“No!” Jeff protested. “We can share! It’s a double bed and I can sleep on one side and you on the other.”

“Hmm?” You raised an eyebrow as you considered his proposal.

“Only if it’s okay with you. If not, I am sleeping on the couch.” He smiled as he scratched his nape.

“Alright, I’ll share my bed with you.” You went back on the bed and you sat on your space. “Only because I don’t want for you to be uncomfortable, okay?”

“Alright, (Y/N).” You could bet that you saw him smirking before you turned the lights off.

“No malice, Jeff!” You slapped his muscular arm and he just let out a laugh. Oh, how much you loved that laughter. “Thank my parents because they taught us that sharing is caring.”

“I’m thanking Lainie and Matt tomorrow, don’t worry.” He jokingly answered and you just giggled because of it. “Good night, (Y/N).”

“Good night, Jeff.” You smiled while you had your eyes closed. You couldn’t believe it, so you had a hard time drifting in your sleep, same for Jeff.

You were happy that you had a chance to share the bed with your ultimate crush and both knew that you would wake up hugging each other, but who cares? You both liked each other, you just had no guts to admit it and this is a great coincidence to show the affection to each other.

My thoughts on 13 Reasons Why Characters (Contains Spoilers)

Hannah Baker: I hate everything that happened to Hannah. Those terrible scenes just grabbed my heart and crumbled it into dust. She went through so much and felt like she had no one to talk to. Majority of her friends just betrayed her except for Clay Jenkins. The only thing about Hannah that I found messed up about her was that she pushed away the one person that actually wanted to be there for her.

Clay Jensen: I felt bad for him, having to hear about the awful things done to the person he loved and watching him struggle to try and get justice for her. I just wished he was able to overcome the fear he had when talking to Hannah and told her how he really felt. There was that moment where he was a dick to her when she tried to talk about the car accident and he completely shut her down.

Tony: Ever since the beginning i got this mysterious vibe off Tony and i didn’t really like it but i realized it was all for Hannah and honoring what she wanted, I’m really glad he decided to show Ms. Baker the tapes even though I was dying for him to tell her sooner.

Jeff Atkins: OMG WHY?!? JUSTICE FOR JEFF TOO! He had absolutely nothing to do with the tapes and all he wanted was Clay to be happy and to be with Hannah. He was such a sweet guy who definitely didn’t need to go.

Jessica Davis: I loved her, then i hated her, and then I felt really bad for her and like Hannah I hope Jessica gets the justice she deserves. I really liked her at the beginning, she was such a cool person and her and Hannah were so so similar. They had that friendship, where you can consider each other sisters. But then I hated how she automatically blamed Hannah instead of Alex for the list that he made and then blamed her for end of their break-up. She didn’t even try to listen to Hannah. And I hated that she didn’t want to see justice for a girl who was once her friend. But then it all started to make sense and it was because she was fed a soup full of lies by her boyfriend.

Justin Foley: I feel like Justin Foley actually does have a good heart but he just didn’t make the right decisions. I loved how much he cared about Jessica but what he did to her was completely awful. But, it killed me when he called out to his mom after her boyfriend just choked her son and she just walked away. And what really also got to me was when he told Jessica about almost jumping and said he couldn’t because he was thinking about her almost made me forget about what he did but then Jessica told him off, and I remembered the pain he helped cause her. It’s clear that what he did was eating him up inside (as it should) and now he just has to live with that

Bryce aka dickshit: FUCK HIM. HOPE HE CREMATES IN HELL. If you watched the show, i’m pretty sure this is all I need to say about that disgusting animal.

Courtney Crimsen: Hate her. Hated her. And still hate her. I understand she didn’t want people knowing she was lesbian but that was no reason to throw Hannah under the bus. Coming out is hard, especially when you go to school with a bunch of judgmental, immature idiots but that’s still not a justification for what she did. And then i absolutely hated her when she tried to stand up and protect Bryce like he wasn’t a rapist who raped not only Hannah but Jessica too. I get she was lying to herself about him not be a rapist so she wouldn’t have to consider herself a lesbian but she just needed to finally admit the truth to herself.

Sheri: I liked her and….. i don’t hate her. She should’ve called the cops but I understand her reasons her hitting and running a stop sign. She was scared. But she should’ve never left an slightly intoxicated Hannah there after she offered her a ride. But i do feel like Sherri has her heart in the right place by hanging around the old man who got in the accident and by finally going to the police.

Alex Standall: I hated him for making the list and letting Jessica be mad at Hannah for it. But he was the only one who actually had a brain in the ‘lets take Clay down so the world won’t know about all the horrible things we’ve done” group. He was the first one to actually wanted to tell the truth and accept the punishments. He was also a sweet character and I really hope he isn’t dead.

Zach: I thought he was sweet too. But i didn’t like how he didn’t speak up for Hannah and actually take into consideration that she needed help, but i can’t really blame him for the fact that he was scared and it’s hard to know that there’s something wrong with someone and actually being able to help them. Knowing that there’s something really dark about a person and just freezing up with fear and not knowing what to do. And what people do in situations like this is they take the easy way out and just ignore it and act like it never happened. But i truly think he actually liked Hannah.

Tyler: Fucking creep. Seriously he should have his camera shattered into a million and one pieces. And i know this is just a theory but i just wanna put this out there and most of you are probably thinking this too but i’m pretty sure Tyler shot Alex. He had all those guns and he took down Alex’s picture. It makes sense. Anyways, i don’t understand why he was trying so hard to try and get into the  ‘lets take Clay down so the world won’t know about all the horrible things we’ve done” group. I think he’s a psychopath and that side of him will unravel in season two of this show.

Marcus Cole: I thought he was actually a nice guy when he asked Hannah to go out with him and then once he came and hour late and sexually assaulted Hannah that’s when I hated him. He cared wayy to much about his reputation.

Ryan: self-centered douche bag. The only moment i’ll applaud him is when he shut Courtney down when she tried to deny Bryce was a rapist. I saw his point on having her poem open to the world and about her struggles reaching out and connecting to other people’s problem but it was personal and he should’ve asked for permission.

Mr. Porter: What’s the point of having a guidance counselor if they’re not going to help guide you out of your problems?? I’m happy he felt bad for not being able to stop what Hannah did to herself. Out of all these people, he was the only one that actually gets paid to help people out of their problems

Stood Up

This one’s prompt is quite long, so bare with me! So i’ve just watched the first two episode of Riverdale and i’m in love! And I saw this prompt and I really wanted to write it for Jughead Jones, which is my absolute favourite character. AND I have an announcement, REQUESTS ARE NOW OPEN AND I’VE ADDED RIVERDALE TO THE LIST. Please, send in some requests, specifically for the 100 or Riverdale! Thank you!

Prompt: You’ve been stood up by your boyfriend and just when you’re about to leave after being question many times, Jughead comes and sits down. Proclaiming he’s now your date and that he’d just been caught up in traffic jokingly, and the worst date ends up being the best.

Warnings: none. only that i’ve only watched the tv show, so i’m basing this purely off Cole Sprouse’s rendition of Jughead.

This night had turned out to be the worst. It had originally been a night you’d been waiting and anticipating for for a really long time, even if it had been delayed and winded down countless time’s each time your boyfriend cancelled on you, you were still excited.

You two month anniversary, which was now closer to being three, was what you were celebrating tonight. Your two month boyfriend, Archie Andrews had promised an exciting night where it would be just the two of you and celebrate all that had happened. It was also the perfect time because it was summer, and with Archie always being so busy with his dads work, getting him alone was hard.

But then it’d been delayed. And delayed. And eventually it was after the incident with Jason, when your date was finally set to actually happen. It had turned into a dinner date at Pop’s rather than whatever Archie originally planned, but you didn’t care so much seeing as you loved the place. The milkshakes were to die for.

It felt odd celebrating after the death of someone who’d been around your age, but you told yourself you deserved it after waiting so long. And you’d been so excited, picking an appropriate but beautiful dress, and done your hair up nicely. You were practically pouncing with excitement when you’d left home.

Now, though, all that had deflated when an hour alter you still sat in Pop’s alone and with no sight of Archie. Those around you questioned you with concerned looks and Pop’s himself had come over asking if you’d like to just order without Archie or if you needed a ride home, but you refused. Trying to convince your crumbling heart that Archie hadn’t stood you up and would walk through the doors any second.

But he never did. And it hurt. So much. After weeks of being sympathetic and understanding towards him and his constant cancelling and rescheduling, you felt your heart break just a little bit more at the realization that he didn’t care for you the way you thought he had. And maybe you fooled yourself think he’d cared for you these past two (three) months.

So when Pop’s walked over, his smile of pity doing nothing but make you feel worse, you grabbed your purse. “Hello, sweetheart.” He greeted and you smile at him softly.

“Hey, Pop’s.” You greeted, waving at him. “I think i’m gonna head home, I-I…” You had to stop yourself as your voice cracked desperately, you’d amazed yourself even that you hadn’t started crying yet. “I’m sorry for holding up the table for so long.”

Pop’s smiled reassuringly. You’d known the older man for a very long time and you always appreciated his kind attitude. “No problem, Y/N. Take all the time you need.” He said, rubbing your shoulder comfortingly. You grabbed your purse and moved to step out before a sudden figure sped past you and you heard a huff of breath.

Confused, you turned to see Jughead Jones sitting in the seat in front of you. His computer by his side as he smiled awkwardly at you. You blinked, not sure what he wanted. You’d never really talked to him, he always sort of stuck to himself but him and Archie were friends, or had been. And anytime you walked by him he’d given you a polite hello and a warm wave. He’d always seemed nice enough.

But this didn’t explain what he was doing now?

Pop’s wore the same baffled expression as you both looked at him expectantly. “Jughead?” You whispered and soft voice cut out, tilting your head at him waiting for him to explain.

“Sorry i’m late.” Was all he said, adding to your confusion.

“Huh?” You whispered. Hand stuck on your purse.

“The traffic was bad and I hadn’t meant to be late for out date, but I was and for that i’m sorry.” Date? You furrowed your brows, eyes narrowing in absolute confusion, not quite sure what to do.

“Son, I think you’d got this wrong.” Pop’s tried, staring at you for answers which you couldn’t give.

Jughead tore his gaze from you, turning to Pops with a dry look of amusement. “We’ll be good now. She’ll have a strawberry milkshake.” And with a final look towards you, Pop’s walked off and went to complete your order.

“Jughead?” You asked once alone, the boy turned to you. Shaking his head as a much more serious expression became over his face.

“Archie is an idiot.” He said, shaking his head. “for standing you up like this.”

You stayed silent, letting go of your purse as you tucked a strand of hair behind your ears. Frowning at your lap, “yeah.”

“Listen, I know we’ve never talked and your date stood you up. But I was wondering if you’d like to spend the next hour with me instead?” Jughead offered and you felt your eyes widening in shock. You’d never heard of Jughead, the outcast, inviting anyone to sit with him or hang out with him. It was undeniably sweet and you felt yourself blushing as a strawberry milkshake was placed in front of you.

Nodding thanks, you waited for Pop’s to leave before refocusing on Jughead. “Why?”

“Hm?”

“Why are you doing this?” You asked, not understanding his intentions. No one had done something so sweet for you, not even Archie.

“I’ve seen you, you follow Archie around as he barely pays attention to.” He explained, staring into your eyes with a look that told you he knew something you didn’t. “And despite standing you up, you’ll accept his apology.”

You opened your mouth, ready to defend yourself, before you realized what he said was true. Archie had done this a few times and each time your forgave him.

“But I know what it’s like to be stood up by him, Y/N. And i know how much it can hurt. So, I thought that instead of brooding about it alone, I would brood about it with you.”

With a sudden smile, you felt your cheeks warm and you nodded. You’d never pegged Jughead as someone sweet, he wasn’t a bad guy but this side you didn’t know existed. And secretly you were glared, this was better than going home and crying, and he seemed genially sincere.

You let your lips find your milkshake and you took a sweet gulp of it, enjoying the taste before smiling up at Jughead. “Then let’s brood together.”

Remember you can now request Riverdale imagines, so please do so! Hope you enjoyed!

“Don’t bother,” he replies grimly, “I said I wasn’t interested in this. If we fucked, sorry for leading you on, if we didn’t, I don’t know why you’d want to be associated with me anyways.” And Harry wants this conversation to end right there, now that he’s said his piece, so he looks back towards Y/N and says, “These are organic grapes, no?”

The girl gets the hint, leaving with a huff and Y/N tuts her tongue at him.

“You’re so mean, Harry! What if she really liked you?”

Harry shakes his head, “She liked my cock not me.” He says apathetically, and Y/N’s face turns towards sheepish like it always does when the mere mention of his escapades comes to head (which it doesn’t often, but he knows Y/N has ears and she hears things), “‘sides, she was rude to you. I don’t like that.” He straightens out, “Did you take your medicine?”

Mafia!BTS when your their s/o but you try to run away from them

I planned this on being a reaction, but… It’s quite long hehe ^^’

So It’s more like little Imagines.

He had been the leader for a long time know, always getting what he wanted and easily getting rid of anyone he wanted to get rid of. You knew what he was doing. The fact that he was a mafia boss never had effected your love for him, but you just couldn’t stand the way he killed so many people, especially since some of them were innocent.
So one day, you decided to leave him, even though you knew your heart was gonna break. You still loved your loving, caring boyfriend. But you were disgusted and scared by the mafia boss and killer in him.

Rapmonster:

You had packed your suitcase, waiting for a good moment to escape. 30 minutes after Namjoon had left for work, you tried to sneak out of your appartment, unknowing that your boyfriend was already waiting for you in front of the door. He had noticed how distant you’ve been these days- and already been waiting for your try to escape.

“Well, well… Where do you wanna go with that big suitcase? Just grabbing some snacks?  I’m sorry honey, but you better get back into the appartment before I’ll have to punish you.”

Since he loves you and is a very loyal person, he would listen to you explaining why you wanted to run from him. He would try to change it, but he wouldn’t let you go, never.

You had been struggling with yourself for a long time. When he was with you, Jin was the sweetest and nicest person. You had no doubt you loved him. But the thought of him, the person you loved, killing other people without mercy… It slowly ripped your heart apart.

It was the best for you to run from him and start a new life. You hadn’t seen Jin in a while and you knew exactly what he was busy with, but you had your whole escape planned out.

Everything was going well, you had reached the airport and his people were nowhere to be seen. You took a last quick glance of the airport before you walked into the plane, sighing happily. That had been easier than you were thinking! You were sitting down in your seat and making yourself comfortable, when suddenly someone sat down next to you. Your eyes widened in shock. No… how?

“Hello, sweety… You could have just told me you wanted to go on a vacation. What? Are you not going to hug me? I missed you…”

Jins people are everywhere… You should have known the taxi driver was strange.

Taehyung:

No matter how many people he had to kill because of his job, he really loved you. He had warned you several times. You thought you were going to be strong enough, that your love was strong enough. But when you heard that the mafia had killed an innocent child, your heart dropped. Enough was enough. Little did you know that Taehyung, even though he was the leader, had nothing to do with this incident. So when he came home to a lonely house, he was shocked. Finding you wasn’t a problem, but he was deeply concerned about your feelings towards him.

He would decide to let you go. However, he would always have someone to watch over you, no matter where you were. You were hungry? Taehyung knew about that. You were eating an orange? Taehyung knew about that. He was sure you loved him and it was only a matter of time until you would come back to him.

“(Y/N)… I love you so much… We’ll meet again, I’ll just wait for you.”

You were sure that he wouldn’t kill innocent people, which, in fact, he didn’t. But still, he was quite busy- you hardly ever saw him and if you did, he was injured. You found yourself worrying about him every day, every hour, every second of your life. You weren’t even allowed to go out and work.

You missed your old friends and your parents so much. You had enough of being trapped in mafia. The letter you had written for Jungkook was laying on the big, lonely kitchen table. You sighed. You would miss Jungkook, his sweet smile, his dark eyes. But he didn’t seem to miss you. You left the house through the backyard, knowing there weren’t any cameras. You wanted to take the bus since he wouldn’t expect you to, it would take you to your parents house.  What to do after that… ? For know, it didn’t matter.

However, once you had reached the bus stop, Jungkook was already waiting there for you. He had a wide smile on his lips, making you shudder. You knew there was no use in running away know.

“Alright, children, enough chattering!” A large woman with bushy blonde hair and overdone makeup stared down at her sixth-grade Earth and Space science class. She was frowning and it was only the first day of classes. She was already feeling the headache that was sure to make itself known by the end of the week. “Settle down!” she bellowed.

At her shrill voice, silence overcame the room and everyone found empty seats to call their own. She gave them all a wide, forced smile in gratitude. “Welcome to Earth and Space Science! I am Mrs. Paulson and I will not tolerate any unruly conduct in my class. You will be wise to be on your best behavior while you’re in my class. If you aren’t, a detention slip with your name on it will be waiting for you by the end of class. Do I make myself clear?”

A drone of agreements reached her ears and she gave a grin of satisfaction. Some kids thought her wolf-like. She clapped her hands once before picking up a stack of papers, licking her forefinger to separate the sheets. Oblivious to the grimaces of her students as she handed them their syllabus, her voice thundered through the room. “Learn it, live it, love it. I will always abide by the schedule you find there and everything that will be required of you is written on that very sheet. Is that understood? There are no excuses!”

Sokovian cuddles

Anon request:

Hi there! I’m in love with your blog, and I know that there are a lot of specifically Pietro blogs, but I love your style, so I was wondering if you could do something of Pietro? Maybe it’s movie night and the reader never told anybody she liked to cuddle but Pietro kinda offers and he can’t stop staring at her and saying cute things then they fall asleep together all tangled. Idk I just need FLUFF!

A/N: I’ve changed the ‘never told anybody she liked to cuddle’ to ‘haven’t been cuddled for ages’ - I hope you still like it?

Word count: 1.4k

Warnings: none, this is pure sweet fluff.

Another movie night, another rom-com on the agenda. How delightful, You thought to yourself. Everyone around you is either loved up or is having a casual friends-with-benefits arrangement. Meanwhile you’re stuck in the Avengers Tower, the rarest creature of them all - a singleton.

I think James would be completely okay with it, he is not one to mind what people think about what he does or who’s he with. James is the actual meaning of lover boy, and would definitely enjoy not only babbling and boasting his significant other to everyone he knows but he’d also be very touchy. Always a hand on your back, on your waist, on your arms, hands, hair, ass, anywhere really, he’d just have to be touching you somehow, to let you know he’s there and he doesn’t plan on leaving. He’d be the kind of guy that would grin like a huge dork while he chatted his friends if you had his arms wrapped around him or had your head laid on his shoulder/lap/chest just because. Would absolutely ask you at least twice to consider letting him owl everyone he knows to tell them he’s dating you and a list of all your qualities because lover boy is a show-off. He wouldn’t mind snogging in public as well, if you did, though, he’d respect it without questioning it and would never cross the line, but you know what they say about being between four walls, right? Because James knows.

Sirius actually has a doctorate degree in PDA, a lot like James, except he’s worse. Would 10/10 snog you in an empty hallway, would not stop if anyone passed by. He wouldn’t mind it at all, he wouldn’t feel embarrassed or uncomfortable for having his lips glued to your rosy ones, long hands wrapped around your waist with such urgency anyone who had to watch that (ridiculous) display of affection would think you hadn’t seen each other for months. Very touchy, very hungry, very sweet. Now, if by any chance you were against PDA or felt uncomfortable and shy Sirius would be extremely understanding. Even if he wanted to show everyone how much he cared for you and be close to you throughout the day, he’d be very sweet about it and understand if all it took you to believe his feelings for you were private reassurances. But he’d suffer if he wasn’t allowed to kiss and snog you, and would definitely eagerly push you against a wall and press his lips to all the places you didn’t allow him during the day the minute you entered his or your dorm. Desperate Sirius is what I’m here for.

Remus would be adjacent, I feel as if he’d feel sort of uncomfortable in being touchy and affectionate in public. However, he wouldn’t be adverse having your hand in his, lightly pecking your lips and cheeks every now and then and having his arm permanently present around your waist, since being close to you was by far one of his favourite things to do, he just wouldn’t be fond of snogging in public. Not because he was shy or anything, just a personal preference of his. Nonetheless, privately, whether it was in an empty classroom or in his dorm, Remus would be extremely affectionate and open to show you all he’s been containing during the day, which means heart-stopping dewy lips against lips and playful touches, pink cheeks, muttering how much he missed and longed for you throughout the day, mumbling things such as “m’sweet girl” and praising you for all you are. An insatiable urgency to have you as close to him as he wishes, for as long as he desires.

I believe Regulus would mind, he cares a lot about how people see him, specially his parents so I think he’d be quite conservative about the way he acts towards his significant one in public. He’d be almost agonizingly respectful, holding your hand and kissing your cheek and forehead were as far as he went, sometimes if the hall wasn’t so full, he’d peck your lips. He was very apprehensive in public; taught to worry about his status since he came out of his mother, he couldn’t help but feel as if everything he did was wrong, so as an extremely quiet person, he’d keep on that facette in public even if you were right there with him. He’d smile once in a while at you and put quirky strands of soft hair behind your ear when they brushed on your face, but that was it. Privately though, he’d be persistent to show all his affection towards you, clutching your body to his as if he hadn’t touched you in years.
