they all just gave me looks

so i just saw a genderbend of all the dream daddy dads and can i just say that seeing damien drawn like that has made me, a trans man like damien, hyper aware of my body and making me feel sick to my stomach and really gross like the barest of movements is giving me chills because im that aware of how i look and how im feeling, because they took a trans man and reverted him back into a woman and then proceeded to say that they were “””””just drawing them how they invisioned them”””” and if “”””that made them transphobic then godspeed””””

that doesnt account for everything else wrong with the picture (i cannot explain the problems with brian in that set holy fuck) and their explination but cant i just say like???? dont do that. dont…. dont genderbend damien. dont do that. it IS transphobic and it has literally ruined my fuckin day im going to feel like im on the brink of panic every time i breath now because of how hyper aware i am of everything about myself and frankly thats garbage and im sorry im bothering everyone with this but god im gonna cry

Wow, I did it!

I was going against making this post because I didn’t want it to seem like I am bragging or something. But I’ve decided that I should because I would feel even worse if I didn’t. I HIT 3,000 FOLLOWERS. I did awhile ago but again, I was going against this for awhile. Thank you to everyone who followed and supported me or even just requested something. It helps me a lot. I never knew my blog would get this big. I thought my posts were stupid and that no one would even look at them twice. I guess some people proved me wrong.

I’d like to especially thank my best friends @kpoplover2313 and @rpsarang (check them out by the way please, if you can) for supporting me through all this and not treating me any differently because I have a ‘popular Tumblr blog’. But really, thank you everyone who gave my crappy blog a chance! I love you all so much!

When will the lord give me the opportunity to tell Im Jaebum just how much of an inspiration he is to me and how I’m so thankful that he does what he does and shares his talents and music and the beauty that is his mind and his soul with the rest of the world and that he is the reason I fell back in love with music and art and all the dreams I dreamed but gave up on and he is an artist I look up to and strive to achieve even just half his level of artistry one day. An Aquarius was throwing and making a mess in his own room after he found out that she, his girlfriend, had finally moved on without him. I looked as he cuss and threw away some of the mementos of her, and finally stopped when he found an old photo of them together at a photobooth. He sat down and started to burst into tears. “If only.. If only I told her everything, and hadn’t kept it all in, maybe she would’ve stayed..” he said through the tears.

An Aries looked through his twitter and found a picture of his ex with someone else, he let out a soft chuckle. “Oh shit..” he laughed, and slowly he stood up and continued to laugh. “Look at this. Look at her.. Oh, she’s.. she’s fucking hilarious.” He slowly started to laugh so hard, and I watched as he began to shake and slowly made his way to the balconey and started to scream about her, just screamed her name and called her names and how he hated her but finally he broke down and cried.

A Cancer started shaking and tries to grab his phone out of our reach. “Please, let me just call her..” we shook all our heads and told him to just stay put. He begged that it’ll be just for tonight. We told him that he has had enough, but he wouldn’t listen. He wanted to call her so bad, but the truth is.. she’s about to have her wedding in a week, and he was going to tell her he still loves her after all these years.

A Capricorn and I were out in mid-town late at night, and he had too much to drink. He sways as he walks, and suddenly one of Bryson Tiller’s songs played through one of the bars nearby and he let go of me and sang through the whole verse. He finally stopped and looked at me and said, “This shit, that’s me. I wished God would saved her for me. That’s it, and fuck.. I’m not really at my best at the moment, but I loved her.”

A Gemini breath out smoke after inhaling his cigarette and he looked at the city lights from our view. “I miss her..” was all he said, taking another inhale from his cigarette. He looked at me and gave me a small smile and back at view.

A Leo drank with me, and place an arm around my shoulders and said, “I shouldn’t drink too much. These crazy thoughts are hunting me again, and I just want to crush the world. Ha, oh she’s in my head. My ex, you know? She’s in here again and.. fuck! I hate her. I miss her. You know we’re talking again, right but just as "friends”? I want more than that..“ He gave me a small playful slap on the cheek and walked to get another drink. It’s going to be a long night.

A Libra rushed to her house, knocking at her apartment door. But it was locked. Ran back downstairs and started calling her name out her window, trying to get her attention. She finally opened the window and told him to leave. I watched from the car, as he asked for her forgiveness. She shook her head and said it was too late for him.

A Pisces admitted to me how he still thinks about his ex, and how he still calls out her name and how his mind would play memories of her every single day. He can’t stand the nights because his mind would play her, her voice, her smile, the way she would call him everyday and she was his rock. As he sits here with me, tears roll down his cheek and he said, "Now here I am still holding on to her, just waiting for a sign that maybe she’d come back, and maybe we can try again.. but also maybe she’s with someone else, who.. who treats her well than I could’ve had and.. I want her to be happy, I do, but I wish.. right now.. she could be happy with me, and I am so selfish for it..”

A Sagittarius once said that he used to think too much about the relationship and how every time he was with her he would start to overthink every scenario of how she would leave him, and he would tell her and she would shook her head and promised him she would never leave… and now that she’s gone he still can’t stop thinking about her..

A Scorpio said to me, “I’m just not too sure if I could ever ask her to come back. I really messed up, you know? I could try, but would she ever give me another chance to prove to her my real worth? Can she really do that..?” I was a little loss for words. Knowing Scoprio and how he is, he seemed to be really serious about her. I just didn’t know what to say.

A Taurus and I passed by a coffee shop and he paused and peered through and saw his ex with someone else, and she’s laughing and holding this man’s hand. He gritted his teeth and his fist clenched. I put a hand on his shoulder and told him to let it go. It’s been years since they’ve together and been a two years after their break up. He slowly looked down in defeat and sighed. He walked off ahead of me..

A Virgo and I were driving out late one night around the city, and all the songs he played were just old, sad R&B music and I would watch him from time to time as he mumbled some of the lyrics to himself and would let out a small smirk when the singer goes and says, “I love you and miss you..” and he shook his head. We pulled up to a parking lot, and he got out and looked at me and said, “I do miss her, but do you think she misses me..?”

—  Regrets..
Imagine your boss, Dean Winchester, flirting with you every time he can.

“And last but far from least-” you let a small sigh, looking at the door in case someone was coming “Mr Fury asked to see you.”

“Fury? As in Nick Fury?” Dean raised and eyebrow, his interest peaking.

“Exactly. It either has to do with the damage you and Mr Stark caused on your small trip around town or-”

Dean chuckled, leaning back in his chair “Come on (Y/n), we were drunk!”

“That does not justify it. On the contrary, it was reckless to go take his suits while being drunk.” you said with a pointed look and his smile turned into a softer one.

“You know-” he leaned forward so that he was closer to you “I love it when you care so much about me.”

“Mr Winchester.” you scolded softly, not meeting his eyes but still unable to hide a small smile from your face.

“I thought that by now we had agreed on that, sweetheart. It’s Dean.” he said, sounding a little disappointed.

“You know that can’t happen, Mr Winchester.” you mumbled, starting to place all of his files in place. Anything to keep you occupied from looking him in the eyes “I’m your assistant.”

“Well then we can arrange that. I could always fire you.” he gave you a cheeky grin as with wide eyes your head snapped to him.

“What?” you stood there frozen for a second until he started laughing at your expression.

“Just kidding. There’s no way on Earth I would fire my most trusted worker.” he shook his head “Besides, this enterprises would crumble down without you here to be honest.”

“Glad you appreciate my job then, Mr Winchester.” you chuckled with a small sigh of relief, shaking your head at your boss.

He rolled his eyes for a moment “That’s just not going to go away easily, is it?” he huffed, almost disappointed and you bit the inside of your cheek; still not looking at him.

“Wish it could.” you mumbled and saw him from the corner of your eye get up and walk towards you.

“You know it can-” you almost jumped at how close he had gotten without you realizing it, his breath only fanning over your cheek and his hand on your back “It’s all up to you.”

“Mr Winchester please-” you glanced at the door nervously “Someone might walk in. I just- I don’t want them to think I am taking advantage of-”

“Of who? Me? Sweetheart by all means, do so.” he gave you a boyish grin and you couldn’t stop a chuckle at his words, shaking your head.

“No. Of the time I spend with you. I- I worked hard to get this position.”

“I know, I saw it for myself.” he frowned slightly “That’s why you got the promotion.”

“Yeah, well if they see us like this they’re not going to think exactly that Mr Winchester. I don’t want people to assume I am here because I am sleeping with my boss.” you placed a hand on his chest, regretting it but still pushing him away. You couldn’t even dare look him in the eyes, you couldn’t take the heartbroken look on his face.

“But they don’t have to see us, if that’s the problem.” he suggested after a long pause and you frowned.

“What?”

“I mean if that’s what you’re most scared of- we don’t really have to tell everyone. Let them find out on our wedding day.” he added with a wink and you couldn’t help but giggle at him.

“Mr Winchester-” you started with a small whine but you knew you didn’t have an excuse good enough. Honestly you were mostly trying to convince yourself that you couldn’t be with him than him in the first place. Besides, it was your own feelings you had been battling with mostly these days than your boss’s advances and flirty remarks.

“Come on, just give me a chance. You’ll see I’m not that bad!” he threw his arms in the air and you bit your lip.

“Mr-” you stopped yourself “Dean, I know you’re not.” you confessed looking him in the eyes “And I know that if the circumstances were different- I wouldn’t have hesitated for a second. Especially after such a surprise.” you added with a chuckle and he grinned.

“You like them?” he remembered the flowers he had sent to your apartment. One of his many attempts in getting you “Took my brother’s advice in it.”

“The flowers were amazing, really.” you admitted “But I was mostly referring to the sweets, especially the pie.”

“Well, that one was my idea actually.” he confessed, full of pride and you giggled.

“Oh I bet!” you shook your head with a laugh.

“Say-” he spoke up, a hand again being placed on your back “How about I take you out… for pie and burgers and we can make a fresh start?”

“Dean” you sighed “You’re not going to give up, are you?”

“Hell to no.” he confessed.

“May I ask you- why are you so interested in me? Up until a few months ago I was just one of the secretaries until I became your personal assistant. But still- nothing more.” you dared look him in the eyes, only to see confusion written all over his face.

“I think we’ve made it clear that you got this position because you are the only one that actually puts effort into their work. Plus, you’re the only one that knows me so well and doesn’t dress up on purpose to show off and turn me on.” he shrugged, before pressing you close to him “That happens either way.” he added and you rolled your eyes at his cheekiness.

“I’m only wearing a white blouse and pencil shirt.” you mumbled.

“As I said- too fucking hot.” he growled almost in your ear and for the first time you let him kiss your cheek without you pushing him away.

“Dean” the way his name left your lips was definitely something you weren’t planning on.

Dean grinned widely “See? Already getting there-” he licked his lips “Do you really want to know why I am so interested in you?” he said in a low rough voice “Because you’re special. Because every morning you have walked in my office, hair a mess, no make up on and clothes a little a little wrinkled with a few buttons undone-” he paused for a moment, his eyes roaming your body “I can only think of how gorgeous you look, and how I’d love to see this sight every fucking morning. Especially after an intense night of-” he paused grinning up at you, only to see a hint of red on your cheeks.

“Gosh I would so love that.” he breathed out huskily, his breath tingling your lips as his face stood only a few inches away from yours.

“I’m- I’m not that-”

“I swear to god, if you complete that sentence I am just going to grab you and prove you wrong right here and now in any way you can imagine.” he said with a slight growl and you swallowed the lump in your throat, feeling yourself shiver when his hands started traveling. You couldn’t deny you liked it a little too much.

“Do you even know the things you do to me when you lean over my desk?” he whispered, resting his forehead on the side of your head; his lips brushing past your ear “With those tight, black skirts. I’ve had such a fucking hard time concentrating during meetings just because of you. You don’t even have to touch me, hell not even say something and I know I am a goner. I can’t think straight when you are in the same room. And gosh, you’re not even doing it on purpose. You’re so clueless.” he grinned “So adorably clueless.”

“Mr Winchester” you whispered, fisting his suit jacket in your hand.

“And the way you say that- I hated it so much at first, it felt like you put a wall between us. I still do but at the same time-it sounds so innocent, so unintentional that you can’t realize how cute and hot it sounds at the same time.” he chuckled and you bit your lip.

“And as if all of that is not enough you- you are such an amazing woman. You actually listen to me when I need it, you try to understand me and you- you love rock too. You listen to me ramble about my car when my own brother always tries to make me shut up when I do. You actually know so much about me, every side of me, that no other woman I’ve been with has ever known. And that’s only because you are the one interested.”

“I can’t help it you know.” you whispered, looking at him through your eyelashes.

“I know. Trust me baby, I know.” he breathed out, cupping your face and before you had the time to react he crashed his lips to yours.

Guys, I have so much to tell you about Will Roland

I may die penniless, unwed, and forgotten, but I will still die happy because I spent four hours of one long-ago summer in a song interpretation master class taught by Will Roland.

I don’t even know where to BEGIN. To quote Rachel Bay Jones, Will…*bursts into laughter* oh my God, there’s so much Will.

Ramblings about Will Roland under the cut. This is my day with Will Roland.

Keep reading

It was a September foggy morning when we met. I caught your eyes and something inside me in that very moment just knew you were trouble. Maybe because you held that cigarette in a certain way, or maybe was the way you used to pronounce my name, always in a low tone, like you were tasting every single syllable in your lips. It made me shiver and it made me uncomfortable, and something along the lines of getting out of my comfort zone for a while made you just irresistible.

You told me you weren’t nice to people because when you are you get hurt and fucked over, I told you I had the same problem. And then a month later, I broke down my shell for you and was nice, I showed you I actually cared. I guess that was my mistake, because you were no different from the rest. I guess you were so scared of being fucked over you decided to screw me over instead.

And there was this day when I woke up and I just couldn’t do it anymore. I stood there in front of you, shaking as I gathered up all of my courage and asked, “Do you hate me?”

You gave me that stupid, skeptical look. “Of course not.”

You looked into my eyes with those beautiful amber pools, the ones no one had ever bothered to notice except me.

“You’re always so kind to me.” Those words shot through my heart like an arrow. Tears started to spill down my somber cheeks.

“Then why are you always so cruel to me?” I whispered. Then it hit me. Like a truck, right through my heart. And in that moment my brain knew, what my heart just wasn’t ready to realize.
I loved you. I saw the future, the brightness and the fireworks.

You kinda liked me. You saw the milky skin, the soft hair and the red lips.

The edge of your lips tasted like desire catching fire.

And mine, like a mix of true love and a sweet romance.
You never wrote me poems. And I am still writing about you.
We were never in love. We would fuck in you car or on your bed where others girls had been or in the shower or while I was crying.

We saw each other naked so often I have the image painted on the back of my eyelids. You ripped my underwear off. You always liked me more when I was vulnerable. I woke you up with kisses, you woke me up with hickies.

And for a long time, I thought they were the same thing.

I asked you once while we both got drunk why it was that I could write novels about you until the words got tired of being anagrams of your name — but at the same time you would never reciprocate. You took a sip of your drink, blew a smoke ring and broke it with your finger.

“Dunno,” you said. We would fuck again later. And that to me, was the closest I was of being loved, adored, liked, worshiped even. But it was not even close to that.

It was carnal, pathetic and almost disgusting. Those are the only adjectives I can give to our so called relationship.

“Is it a crime to be halfway in love with someone?” I used to ask in those drunk moments, the tears I would never let you see, always stinging.

“Can I still feel something for you, after we told each other everything. After you betrayed and lied and never listened to me?” You would meet my eyes, looking confused as if you never promised anything, and it was true, you never did.

“You don’t have to feel anything. Maybe it’s better if you don’t.”
I did messed up all the lines from the Great Gatsby. I fell for all the wrong reasons. You had a green light smile with a gun prodding the center of my back, and I was so lost in your senseless acts that I, for a long time, thought it could be close to love.

And my love for you was like a penny. It wasn’t much, but it’s all I had, and you threw it on the ground like it was nothing.
I craved that side of you that you didn’t show to anyone else.
You only craved the parts of me that was exposed to everyone else.

I said I loved you.
You said that the difference between sex and love is that sex relieves tension and love causes it.

To sum up, I saw someone worth falling for, you saw a body and a potential fuck.

I once found you sitting on my floor staring at a picture from when I was young.

“God,” you said, “I really fucked you up.” And then finally, my last words, “I hope it hits you like a truck every time you hear my name that you never fucked me up. But how badly you fucked us up.”

And like that, you broke the heart. I never even knew I had. I remember talking with my best friend once I left you. She asked if I really were in love with you.

I had never realized that, after all you’d put me through, no one had ever even asked me that.

Within milliseconds everything came rushing back to my mind. I thought of all the 3 am conversations and secret shared glances in the hallway. I thought of how I opened my heart to you and let you in like I hadn’t done in a really long time. I thought of how you ripped it straight out of my chest and tore it to pieces. I thought of the 3 am tears shed into my pillow and the texts left unopened. I thought of how you broke my heart, and how you were the first person to ever do that.

I closed my eyes as four of the most important words I had ever spoken were about to come out of my mouth.

“No, no I wasn’t.”

I decide then that love is a terrible, terrible thing. Loving someone as fiercely…must be like wearing your heart outside of your body with no skin, no bones, no nothing to protect it.

And loving you? That was impossible. You were worth a fuck, not a lifetime story.

Dating Incest Girls

My most recent ex girlfriends have told me detailed stories about their secret fun. A few years ago I was dating a 18f that had been fooling around with her real dad since she was 11. She had big boobs at 10 and she said her dad and friends took notice as she developed. Her parents spilt when she was 11 and she went and stayed with her dad for a bit. She said she tried to take her moms role, she would take care of him and then she started catching him jerk off. She said she would masturbate a lot thinking about taking him and him having his way with her. One day she walked in on him jerking off and she walked up to him as he was still stroking it and asked if she could watch. He agreed and jerked off for her as she started to get aroused she asked if she could help. He took her hand and guided it on to his thick curved cock and she said she was hooked from then on. She said she stroked it and they made out and she had her tits played with and sucked on. She was so wet and turned on that she wanted to do more. So she got on her knees and without asking she took her dads thick rock hard cock into her young warm wet mouth. She said that was her first cock and her daddy showed her how to suck it and stroke it (she deff had good dick handling abilities). She said he came in her mouth and she spit it up because it was so much. A few times of her catching him or him walking in on her in the shower and playing with each other she was ready to take let her dad take her virginity. She had plans on doing it on his bed and making it hot and romantic, but she ended up catching him jerk off to a dirty mag in his garage while he was working on his car. She went right up to him and dropped to her knees and told him “I thought we discussed this is my job” as she took his cock into her mouth. He let her suck on it and make it nice and wet. Then she got up and pulled her pants down and started rubbing and showing him her tight wet pussy. He picked her up and laid her back on the hood of his car and started licking her pussy and fucking her with his tongue. She said she came from his mouth and started begging for him to fuck her, he was on the fence about it. He teased her by rubbing his big thick head around her smooth wet pussy, then rubbing in out her clit. She said she couldn’t take the teasing anymore and pushed herself into him, forcing half his cock straight up into her. They both let out big moans and embraced each other and started making out as he slowly slide it all the way in. She just laid there while he filled her pussy up with all his cock. She said it was painful but the way he touched her and the way his cock curved it felt good really quick. He pumped her a few times slowly making her gasp and moan. Then she told him “harder daddy”, and he just stated pumping harder and faster into her. She said she was so wet from everything that it really diluted her blood from breaking her hymen, but looking down at her dads thick curved cock going in and out of her all shiny and wet made her his little slut right then and there. She said they went at it for about 10 mins or so and he pulled out and came all over her bit tits. 11 yrs old with almost size D bra, big perky tits cover in her dads cum. God I would of loved to seen that. I guess I’m lucky though, I did get to catch them when she was with me 18 at the time. We were stopping by her dad’s house where she was living at the time. She was going in to change and be right back out. Well I noticed the light on in her dad’s office/studio from out in the car. I seen this shadow blur across the curtains, realizing it was my girlfriend popping in to say hi to him. Then I noticed she dropped straight down instead of back out to the side like she came in view of the window. Then it hit me, she just dropped to her knees in front of him. Well I knew there was only one reason for her to do that, so I opened my door softly and then didn’t even close it just so they wouldn’t hear me trying to close my door and stop. I slowly snuck up to the window to his office and luckily there was a bit of the curtain open. When I looked in I was shocked! There was my gf on her knees holding her dads cock with one hand and cupping his balls with the other and licking up and down his shaft! I almost came in my pants right then and there, needless to say I had a rock hard cock then. She licked his shaft and then put it back in her naughty mouth and slide it all the way down with ease. You could deff tell she had been sucking that cock for a long time and knew how to work it. She was just gagging on it and then he stood up real quick took it out of her mouth and jerked it until he came all over her face. I was grabbing my rock hard cock through my pants not even realizing that I look like a big creep peeping in their window at night rubbing my cock. I watched as he took a shirt near by and gave it to her to clean her face off and decided to go back to the car before I’m spotted. I got back in the car and almost ripped my jeans because my cock was so hard. I took it out and started jerking off thinking about what I just seen with my own two eyes. Then I start thinking about all the stories she shared with me from the first time the had each other in the garage to that night she just sucked her dad off real quick while her bf waits out in the car. Never got to witness anything with any of my other ex girlfriends, but hopefully I can see something like that again. Still is the hottest thing I’ve ever experienced. BTW I never said anything to my ex gf about what I saw with her dad, she was open about telling me but I knew that she would of felt embarrassed if she knew I saw and knew it was absolutely real.

(Part Two)

“Hey, you,” You heard from behind your locker door.

The voice scared you so much that you slammed your locker shut in panic. When you saw who it was, your cheeks turned bright crimson.

“Jesus, Peter. You scared the shit out of me.”

Peter just grinned, amused that he was able to fluster you without even trying.

“Sorry. Why so jumpy today?” he asked with a chuckle.

“I don’t know. I just woke up feeling kind of weird today. It’s no big deal. What are you doing after school today? Ned told me he got the Lego Deathstar set.”

Peter raised an eyebrow and leaned against the locker beside you. Your quick change of subject and flustered rambling couldn’t trick him. He knew something was wrong with you, but he decided to bypass it for now. He didn’t want to make you talk about something you didn’t want to talk about, so he just shook his head and carried on with the conversation as if everything was normal.

“I heard. I wish I could help you guys build it, but I got the Stark internship after school.”

You rolled your eyes and copied his pose, your shoulder falling hard against your locker.

“You always have the Stark internship. Doesn’t he ever let you take a break?”

Peter chuckled again.

“Uh, not really. No. It’s okay though, I like it.”

You were still annoyed, but you didn’t want to crap all over something Peter loved. So you just gave him a little fake smile instead.

“I’m glad you enjoy it. Ned and I will miss you though.”

Peter gave you one of his little appreciative half-smiles.

“I’ll miss you, too. Uh, both of you… I mean,” He rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably. “Anyways, can I walk you out?”

You nodded and the both of you headed towards the front entrance of Midtown High.

You and Peter had parted ways a while back on your journey home. You felt a little antsy walking alone in Queens, and Peter was reluctant to leave you alone, but you convinced him that you would be fine. You kept checking your phone nervously, waiting for Ned to text you back about the plan for that night. When you looked up, you realized that you didn’t even know where you were walking anymore. You stopped and looked around. There was an ominous feeling in the air – the same creepy feeling you got when you woke up this morning. Something bad was about to happen. You could feel it.

You spun around, and just as you did, you saw a winged creature swooping down to grab you. The last thing you saw before you blacked out was a pair of mechanical talons gripping your shoulders.

When you woke up, your vision was blurry. You tried to sit up, but when you did, your body was wracked with pain. You fell back to the ground and hit your head on the pavement, worsening your anguish. When you reached back to cradle it, you felt something warm and sticky on your hands. You tried to lift your other arm, but couldn’t. You tried and failed to move your legs as well. You didn’t know what happened to you, but you knew that it was bad. You lay still, waiting for the pain to stop when you saw a blurry figure running to you.

“Y/N!” You heard the figure scream, and you knew at once that it was Peter.

But you were out before you could even say his name.

…

Beep…Beep…Beep.

The first thing you heard before you opened your eyes was the steady beeping of the heart monitor next to you. The next thing was worried voices speaking next to you.

“She’s going to be alright, kid. It’ll take her a while to get there, but she’s going to be alright.”

“You don’t get it, Tony. I let this happen. Me. This whole thing is my fault.”

As soon as you recognized the second voice as Peter’s, you knew you had to open your eyes for him. It took all of the strength in your body, but finally your eyes fluttered open. You tried to say something comforting to him, but nothing came out. Instead, you made a grunting noise and tried to reach out for him.

Peter immediately kneeled down next to you and put an arm on your shoulder.

“Y/N? Are you okay? Wait, no, don’t try to talk. Or move. Just…thank god you’re okay.”

“P…Peter. W-what…happened?” You struggled to ask.

Peter just stared at you with a pained expression.

“It’s…complicated. You got hurt. But you’re going to be okay now.”

You turned your gaze to Tony Stark, who was standing sullenly in the corner of the room.

“Why is he here? Where am I?”

Tony stepped forward and gripped the footboard of your hospital bed.

“You’re in Avengers Tower. In the medical bay.”

“What? Why aren’t I in a real hospital? Where’s my parents…?”

You shifted uncomfortably under your sheets, trying to sit up, but stopped abruptly and groaned when you felt a sharp pain in your ribs. Peter pressed gently on your shoulder to keep you from moving.

“I wouldn’t do that, Y/N.”

“Why am I here? And where are my parents?” You asked again sharply, starting to fully regain your voice.

“Your parents are on their way here. And, uh, you’re here because… well, because…”

“Because Peter reached out to me for help when he found you. We’ve got the best and brightest working here. You’re in very good hands,” Tony interrupted.

“Yeah, exactly. Plus he offered to keep you here for free so your parents won’t have to pay any medical bills. He’s been really helpful with all of this.”

You relaxed back into your pillows, staring at Tony with a questioning look.

“Thank you, Tony,” you mumbled, not buying that that was the whole story.

“No problem. Any friend of Peter’s is a friend of mine. I should go, but Peter here will take excellent care of you. It was a pleasure to meet you, Y/N. I’m just sorry it had to be under these circumstances.”

With that, he patted Peter roughly on the shoulder, gave him a look over the rim of his glasses, and walked out the door.

“What was that about?” You questioned Peter.

“Nothing. It’s fine.”

He put both of his elbows on the edge of your bed, balling his fists together and resting them against his lips. He was thinking very hard about something.

“Peter… don’t think for one second that I’m going to give up asking about what’s going on. I’m not stupid. I know something bad happened, and I need to know what it was,” You croaked.

Peter looked into your eyes, and you could tell he knew you were right. He had to tell you, no matter how hard it was for him. He sighed loudly and got up to pull up a chair beside you.

“Okay. Uh, I don’t really know how to say this…but, uh, you were attacked. By The Vulture. Do you know who that is?”

You furrowed your eyebrows, searching your brain for any prior knowledge you had of who that could be. When you finally remembered seeing him on the news a few times, you nodded slowly.

“Spider-Man fought him a couple of times, right?”

Peter nodded at the floor, not able to look you in the eyes.

“Ned called me and said you never texted him back. He seemed really worried, so I started walking to your house to see if you were there. And then on the way I saw him… and I found you. Just laying there in an alley. I was so scared. I thought that I was too late. I thought I lost you, Y/N.”

He looked so upset that it took everything in your power not to sit up and wrap your arms around him. Instead, you rested your hand on top of his. It was all you could muster. Peter sniffled a little bit and gave you a weak smile.

“I don’t understand, Peter. What would The Vulture want with me?”

Peter looked up at you and shook his head slowly.

“I…don’t know, Y/N. I’m so sorry.”

He looked like he was almost in as much pain as you, so you intertwined your fingers with his in an attempt to comfort him further.

“Why are you sorry? This isn’t your fault, Peter.”

He smiled again, but he still looked tormented.

“I’m never going to let anything bad happen to you again,” he whispered, tightening his grip on your hand. “I promise.”

You smiled at him sleepily. Feeling your cheeks beginning to burn, you cleared your throat and released his hand.

“So…Avengers Tower, huh? Do you think you could get Black Widow to pay me a visit?”

*Five Months Later*

“Where are you?” You asked through the phone, slightly worried but immensely irritated. “It’s our first homecoming, together. You were supposed to be here already!”

“I know, I know,” you heard him sigh through the phone, and you thought you could hear some kind of noise in the background. “I’ll be there as soon as I can. I promise.”

You sighed now, louder than he did, and you were sure the displeasure on your face was obvious to the classmates around you. “Okay,” you said before hanging up the phone and shoving it in your coat.

You made your way to your locker to put your coat away, and you walked slowly to waste time before he got here. You knew what he had to do was crucial, but it was his homecoming too. And, even though it was insignificant in terms of what he was doing, it was your first homecoming as a couple.

You wanted it to be special. But he was late, so late.

When you arrived back to the gym, you smiled when you saw Michelle standing by herself in a corner, looking around the room in mild disgust. “MJ!” You yelled, walking up to her and throwing your arms out for a hug.

“Hi,” she said, wrapping her arms around you. She pulled away quickly, looking at your outfit. “You look nice.”

“Thanks,” you said, still smiling. You looked down at your own outfit before looking at hers. “So do you.”

She nodded in recognition, looking away from you and around the gym. “Where is everyone?”

You sighed, beginning to frown. “I have no idea.” You looked at the school doors, waiting for him to walk through and give you a large smile. But he didn’t, so you looked back at Michelle. The two of you chatted, and at some point, made your way over to the punch table.

“So the author said-”

“I’m here, I’m here!” A panicked voice interrupted Michelle and the two of you turned around.

You smiled brightly, reaching in to hug him immediately. “Hey, Ned!” You exclaimed as he put his arms around you as well. When you pulled back, you adjusted the crooked hat on his head. “I like your hat.”

“Thanks,” he smiled in response, and then looked over at Michelle. He smiled shyly then, more subdued than when he looked at you, and you saw her give him the same look. You smiled slyly as you watched them hug, and when you gave Michelle a wink, she glared at you.

You excused yourself quickly when they parted, and the alarmed look on both of their faces made you laugh as you walked away. You hoped the privacy you gave them would finally lead to something more.

You roamed around the gym, not quite knowing what to do with yourself. You made your way through the gym doors to make your way to your locker, and you felt a strange feeling come over you when you remembered you doing the same thing exactly a year ago.

You smiled, nostalgic, as you thought of the night Peter had told you he was Spiderman. It felt like centuries ago, not just a year. So much had happened since then. It was like nothing in your life was the same.

You arrived at your locker, and you quickly unlocked it and pulled your phone out of your jacket pocket. You sighed when you opened it to see no messages or calls. You shoved it back in and slammed your locker shut in irritation, the sound echoing through the empty hallways of the school.

You leaned your head against it afterwards, the cold, hard texture feeling so vastly different compared to when you had leant your head against Peter’s, so many months ago.

You didn’t know why you were feeling so disappointed. It was just homecoming. It was just a school dance. It didn’t matter.

It didn’t matter.

But he promised, he promised, he said he would be there. He had kept his promise when it was most important; he could keep it again now. He had to.

It was your night to make good memories, good memories with him. And maybe it wasn’t prom, but it was still an important night. You still wanted it to be a night to remember. But maybe it wasn’t meant to be, and maybe—

“(Y/N),” you heard from behind you. It was a soft, breathy noise, and you recognized it immediately. You whipped around, nearly falling over in the process. The smile that graced your face when you saw him was the largest it had ever been, and the smile he gave you in return was just as blinding.

“Peter,” you said in return, just as soft. He was only a few feet away from you, but it felt like too much of a distance, so you rushed forward and wrapped your arms around his neck. His arms closed around your waist, and he held you close to him, with your face nestled in his neck and his head resting against yours. “You’re here,” you whispered into his neck.

“I promised,” he said in return, his arms tightening around you. “I always keep my promises.”

“You do,” you said, smiling, and you pulled back slightly to look at him.

He was clearly out of breath. He was trying to hold his panting back from being obvious, but you knew him better than anyone else. You laughed when you saw that he realized you could notice, and he laughed lightly, too. You let go of him to fix his tie, retying it for him when you noticed it was loosely put together.

“You’re a mess,” you chuckled, patting his chest after you adjusted his tie. He caught your hand with his, interlocking his fingers with yours. You looked up into his eyes to see him staring at you intently. “What?” You asked, confused.

“Thank you for waiting for me,” he said quietly, and lifted your connected hands to press a small kiss to yours. You felt your face grow warm as he did so. He had done it so many times before, and you should’ve been used to it already, but every time he left a lingering kiss on your hand, like something a prince would do to his betrothed, you couldn’t help but feel the blood rush to your cheeks.

It made you feel special, and it made you love him even more.

“Of course,” you said, a smile on your face and a blush on your cheeks. “I may have been a bit impatient, but-”

“No,” Peter cut you off, shaking his head, and you looked at him with a confused expression. “Not just tonight,” he said. “It’s all the time. I always keep you waiting for me, and I never show up when I say I will, but you wait for me anyways. You’re always there for me, and you say you don’t mind but I know you do,” he gave you a pointed look when you opened your mouth to object.

“Anyone would mind,” he continued, reaching his other hand up to hold your cheek. “I understand that. But you never leave,” he looked at you so intently, his gaze burning into you so deeply that you couldn’t help but lean closer to him as his thumb stroked your cheek. “And just- thank you. Thank you for always staying with me,” he was whispering now, and he started leaning closer to you too.

When you were sure he was done speaking, you only whispered a soft “I love you” before reaching up and kissing him. You felt him sigh against your lips, a happy, content sigh, and you began to smile into the kiss. He began to smile as well, but that didn’t stop the two of you. So you stood there, in the empty school hallway, embracing the love of your life.

You were happy, and you knew Peter was, too.

Replaceable Part 3!!

Lance was woken by the sound of the castle alarms blaring. He quickly rolled out of his bed and put on his armor. He took a quick look in the mirror to see how he looked. He is eyes were still puffy and red from all the crying, but if any of the others asked, he could simply blame it on the sleep. Running his fingers through his hair to make it look presentable, he took a final glance at his reflection and ran to along to the pounding sound of the alarms. Lance reached the room just as Hunk was. Hunk sent him a small smile, in which he returned. His smile quickly fell however when he turned to look at Keith, who was clearly trying to ignore him, not even looking in his direction. Lance swallowed around the lump in his throat. *No. No more crying.* Allura clapped her hands together, getting the attention of the team. “Okay, Paladins! We’ll be arriving on the planet in just a few ticks, so just a quick reminder that this alliance is very crucial to Voltron and stopping Zarkon. Everyone must be on their best behavior! We have to make sure that we secure this alliance, no matter what!” *Oh yeah…* Lance thought. *I completely forgot about the alliance..* “Princess, we are now landing!” “Thank you, Coran. Alright Paladins! Let’s greet our, hopefully, new alliances!” As Lance stepped onto the foreign planet, he looked around in awe. It was beautiful here. There were enormous, strange looking buildings that looked like skyscrapers. The planet reminded him of New York, only there was a peaceful, calm aura surrounding the place. It was clear to see that this alien race was very civilized and advanced with technology, which also meant weaponry. They would definitely be a powerful ally for Voltron and the fight against Zarkon. Allura led them to a large building that resembled a mansion, but it appeared to be made out of an iridescent, chrome material. Coran stepped forward. “It’s made out of a material that’s virtually indestructible. And you may have noticed that you can’t see into the building, but once you are in the inside, you can see the outside. I believe you have something similar on Earth. Two-way mirror is it?” Pidge nodded with her mouth hung open while the other paladins looked around in awe. “It’s beautiful.” Shiro murmured. Lance nodded in agreement. He could feel the excitement bubble up inside him as they drew nearer to the entrance. When they entered the building, Lance was not disappointed. It appeared as though there was some sort of celebration going on. Hundreds of chandeliers made out of glowing blue crystals hung from the ceiling, creating a soft blue hue to light up the room, giving a calming effect. Rows and rows of tables were lined up, displaying an endless buffet of food Lance had never seen before. The aliens there were all dressed in various ball gowns, some of which seemed to sparkle like it was made entirely out of crystals and jewels. And there was music softly playing in the background. Everything was breathtakingly beautiful. One of the older looking aliens recognized them and walked over to Allura. “Ah, hello Princess Allura. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” Allura bowed deeply. “The pleasures all mine, Queen Lilith. I would like the introduce my Paladins, the team of Voltron.” The Queen’s eyes shined as she gazed at them. “Yes, yes! I would like to thank you for everything you have done so far. The task you have been assigned is very challenging and dangerous. It is quite impressive the things you have accomplished.” The Queen turned to Allura. “Now, I do believe we have business matters to discuss. Paladins, please enjoy yourselves. This party was thrown for you after all.” The team sheepishly gave their thanks. Lance turned to the party, eyes alight. *Finally, time to relax and have some fun!*
~~~~~
Everything was going amazingly. Lance’s belly was stuffed with delicious food, everyone he talked to was incredibly respectful and kind. He was…happy. He smiled genuinely for the first time in what a felt like a very long time. Everything was going perfect. That was until he talked to Hunk. Lance noticed Hunk talking to a trio of female aliens who were all wearing elegant gowns. They were all giggling as Hunk was flushed red and rubbing the back of his neck. Lance knew that look. Hunk was uncomfortable. What kind of friend would he be if he didn’t come in the save the day for his best bud, his right hand man? So, Lance made his way to them. “So, what are you lovely ladies doing this fine evening?” One of them turned and giggled. “Oh, we were just asking Hunk here about his adventures as a Paladin.” The alien let her hand trail down Hunk’s arm. “He’s very strong and brave. And quite cute if I’m being completely honest.” The others around them giggled in agreement. Lance chuckled and shook his head. “Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ladies, but Hunk right here.” He threw an arm around Hunk’s shoulders. “He’s already a taken man.” Lance felt Hunk stiffen underneath his arm. “Lance, what are you-” “And who is the lucky lady to have such a handsome defender of the universe?” One of the girls pouted. “Well beautiful, that would be one rock hard gal by the name of Shay. You see, from the first time Hunk looked at her, he was smitten. You should of heard him-” “Lance, can I talk to you for a second?” Hunk interrupted. Before Lance could reply, Hunk dragged him away from the group, and to a secluded corner. “Hey, what’s up buddy?” Lance grinned. “Don’t ‘buddy’ me.” His smile fell. “What was that all about?!” “Wha-what?” “Who gave you the right to just start running your mouth about my feelings or relationships?” Lance slowly took a step back. “I-I’m sorry, Hunk. You just looked uncomfortable and I thought-” “No. That’s just it. You didn’t think at all.” Hunk gave him a hard look. “Did you ever think how that made me feel? Lance, that was embarrassing! Shay and I aren’t even dating, and the only reason I told you that I liked her is because you’re supposed to be my best friend!” “Hunk, I am your best friend!” “A best friend wouldn’t just spill out the inner most secrets to compete strangers! I thought I could trust you. I guess I was wrong.” Lance could feel the familiar heat behind his eyes. “H-Hunk..” “Just leave me alone, Lance. And just try to think of others feelings before you think of yourself. And stop trying to 'help’ me. You’ve done enough 'helping’ already.” With that, Hunk turned and left. Lance stood frozen, unmoving. Feeling the heat increase and the water beginning to form in his eyes, he quickly left. He had to get out of there. He couldn’t cry in front of these people, he would just ruin the alliance. *Just like I ruin everything else. But where could I go?* Then, someone was calling to him in his mind. *Blue.* Lance ran back to the castle, avoiding his teammates. He couldn’t let them see him like this. When he got to Blue’s hangar, he could already feel himself starting to crumble. The dam behind his eyes cracked and the tears began to flow. He ran to Blue as she lowered her head and open her mouth for him to enter. Lance threw himself into the pilot chair, drawing his knees to his chest and allowing the tears to flow freely. “Blue, why do I have to mess up everything? I try to help, but I just end up making a bigger mess of things. I knew I didn’t belong here. I was never meant to be a paladin of Voltron. I’m just a weak, pathetic, excuse of a pilot. Keith was right. I’ll never be a true pilot of Voltron. All I am is a cargo pilot.” Lance muttered bitterly. Blue tried to send him comforting thoughts, reassuring him that he did belong and that she CHOSE him to be here paladin, but Lance ignored her, letting the grief and shame consume him.
~~~~~
Lance was still in the castle with Blue when he heard a thunderous crash outside, followed by several screams of panic. He ran to the nearest window to see what caused the commotion. When Lance glanced toward the sky, he gaped at what he saw. A large Galra ship was hovering in the air, and it suddenly projected a hologram of a scarred, angry Galra. “Paladins of Voltron, I am here in behalf of Zarkon. We know you’re here! If you do not reveal yourselves, this planet will perish.” Lance watched as Hunk, Pidge, Keith, and Shiro ran outside the building, facing the hologram. “Ah, there you are.” “What do you want from us!?” Shiro shouted. “Hmmm..I actually have a deal to offer.” *A deal..what could he possibly have to offer that would interest us?* Lance pondered. “Do not think we haven’t noticed that you have stolen information from our database, but what caught my attention was what you specifically searched. It appears that you are looking for your fellow species, one that shares DNA to the Green paladin.” Lance gasped as he saw Pidge pale. “Where are they?! What do you know?! TELL ME!!!” Pidge screamed. “Haha, be patient gremlin. We do have the information about these humans you are looking for, possibly even their coordinates. But in exchange for your the information, you have to prove your strength to me and pry the information from myself. Let me see the strength a member of Voltron has.” The others sneered and shouted at the Galra while Lance set his jaw. He knew what he had to do.
~~~~~~
“I’m going.” “No Shiro, if you go, who’ll lead Voltron? There’s a very high chance that whoever goes will not come back alive.” “It’s either I’m going, or no one is going, and that’s final.” The team was still arguing when they were caught off guard by thunderous laughter. “Ahahaha!! It appears we have a challenger!” The team whip around, just in time to see the Blue lion headed straight toward the ship. The Glara ship begins to take off, the Blue lion right on its tail. “LANCE!!” The team ran after them, but they were slowly losing ground. Shiro quickly turned on his communications in his helmet, allowing the others to hear. “Lance! Lance! Do you copy?!” “I hear you loud and clear, Cap!” “Lance, what the quiznak do you think you’re doing?! Get back here right now! That’s an order!!” “Sorry Shiro, but I can’t do that. I’m getting that info.” “Lance, you can’t do this; it’s a suicide mission!!” Shiro screamed desperately. “That’s okay Shiro. I’ll do whatever I can to help my team, especially if it’s concerning their family. I may never get to mine again, so if there is a chance that I can help any of you get back with your family, I’ll always step up to the plate. It’s time that I tried to do something right, instead of being a disappointment to the team and ruining everything. Besides.” Lance chuckles weakly and let’s a few more tears escape, dripping off his chin onto the control panel. “I’m replaceable.”
Rough Around the Edges
upperstories submitted:
Climbing up six flights of stairs was a pain.
Climbing up six flights of stairs after driving what felt like thousands of miles without stopping for anything but gas and coffee wasn’t much better.
But climbing up six flights of stairs with a bad knee, three exhausted bundles of living ink clinging to you like a lifeline, and going on nothing—no real food or water or even a bathroom break—but sheer grit? Downright impossible.
Henry Ross cleared it in half his usual time.
He didn’t care how late it was, how much he ached or how much he wanted to just curl up next to the chipped floor molding and become comatose, he was not in the mood for any of his neighbors catching him as he was. He just thanks god his doorman, a short ruddy-faced man named Patrick, had fallen asleep at his desk before he’d snuck in, like old Patty always did after 11:00 PM.
“644, 645—646,” said Henry, stopping to catch his breath.  “Here. This is it.”
He could feel Boris, Alice, and Bendy collectively sigh in relief, wilting like lilies in the hot summer sun.
Boris was fairing what seemed like the best of them; hand on Henry’s shoulder for balance, but with enough of his druthers to stand upright without help. Alice clung to Henry’s left pant leg, leaning heavily, her black eyes barely open, and not at all complaining when Henry used his free arm to help keep her steady. Bendy, for all his intents and purposes, hadn’t left Henry’s grasp since the studio, tucked against his left side with his face half buried in the old animator’s collar. Henry was pretty sure he’d fallen asleep at least 3 times on the way—he had one hell of a loud snore for a shorty. He hadn’t asked to be put down once, but Henry did not complain. It had been a long day for all of them, but Bendy had had it the roughest—which was saying something, as Henry had learnt that hard way that being turned into a living cartoon was no picnic.
“What’s the plan, Henry?” said Boris, catching Henry off guard.
“Plan is, uh,” Henry mumbled, fumbling with keeping Bendy and Alice from toppling over while he fished for his keys. They weren’t in either of his pockets… where were they?
“Get inside, go to bed. Try to sleep and…” He sighed, “I don’t know, come up with a better plan in the morning.”
“Works fer me,” Bendy muttered, not even opening his eyes.
It was then Henry noticed a small shimmer along the door’s upper frame. Bracing Alice as best he could, he reached up and ran a hand along the top of the door molding and caught something metal on the far corner. Of course. Right where he left it.
“Henr—ry?” said Boris, muffling a yawn behind the back of his hand. “That, uh, don’t seem particularly safe there, leaving yer key where someone can find it. What if someone tries breakin’ in?”
“Not to worry Boris,” said Henry, smirking to himself sardonically, “I doubt anyone would find anything of mine worth stealing…”
The lock gave a rusty clunk, and Henry shouldered it open.
The sound of a rickety radiator and the smell of old newsprint, a faint burnt wood-like scent, and cardboard greeted them along with the faint sting of old alcohol. The light of the hallway cast a thin orange glow into the otherwise pitch-black apartment. Henry couldn’t remember feeling so relieved to see color, faded and muted as it was.  He ushered everyone in and quickly shut the door behind them before trying a light switch. It flickered twice before dimly glowing weakly, barely any better than the hallway light. With a small fzzt!, it went right back out.
“Great,” Henry grumbled. It took a bit of blind stumbling, but he managed to reach a tall lamp next to the couch and switched that on instead. The bedroom was cast a pale light, giving everything a pale bluish tint. “Gonna need to replace that.”
Alice and Boris blinked in the sudden light, Bendy preferring to just keep his face buried under Henry’s chin.
“Well, uh,” Henry said, eyebrows creasing as it seemed something very apparent dawned on him. He tried his best to smile, but only managed a wince and he half-heartedly motioned to the living room. “Here we are. Home sweet home.”
The light made it easier to take stock of just how messy the man’s apartment really was. A quintessential bachelor pad, with bare walls, sealed and opened boxes alike strewn everywhere, bookshelves decorated with everything from empty whiskey and beer bottles to unfinished model ships—and pretty much everything except for books. Dirty laundry littered the floor, waste bins sat overturned in the corner. The kitchen looked almost unused, save for the stacks of pots and pans stuck to the grimy stone tops, and piles of unread junk mail and bills sat on the kitchen counter, unsorted. The couch looked about as comfortable as a sack of potatoes, the green fabric a shade greyer than when it was first bought.  One of its legs was held up by an old phone book.
A thick, sturdy easel and stool sat out of place in the corner, next to a far window, unmistakable in spite of a tarp covered it. Stacks upon stacks of blank newspaper leaned against the corner behind it, book-ended by empty sketchbooks that looked hardly handled. A stray sheet of sketch paper poked out from under the tarp, the off-white paper marred with frustrated, uninspired scribbles of charcoal.
Henry was suddenly acutely aware of Alice and Boris’s stares. He coughed.
“Sorry about the mess,” said Henry, rubbing the back of his neck and looking down, “I don’t, uh, get guests all that often.”
“S’alright Henry,” said Boris, voice no longer tired. His ears had pulled back, eyes downcast as well. “We don’t mind it.”
“S’not like we got anywhere else to be,” Bendy mumbled, peaking up. “Even if it is a pig’s sty.”
“Bendy,” said Alice, sharply.
“Any port in a storm, huh?” Henry shrugged, smirking ruefully. “Alright, alright, everybody to bed. We can worry about this mess in the morning.”
He didn’t need to tell the Toons twice. Henry herded them into the next room, which was surprisingly less musty than the den. There were still more piles of boxes strewn about, sure, but the desk next to his bed was only slightly disheveled, and bed looked well made. Almost as if Henry never really slept in it… or used his bedroom at all.
He led Boris to one end and helped him strip the covers to climb in. Afterwards, he lifted Alice up onto the mattress. Up next was Bendy.
“Alright, short stuff, time to get down,” said Henry, leaning down for Bendy to easily fall onto the mattress. Which he did not. “C’mon, I need my arm back at some point.”
“Can’t here yah, I’m asleep,” said Bendy, pretending to snore, clinging all the tighter.
It took a couple of attempts, but he finally managed to pry Bendy free from his side, his arm practically all pins and needles from the tight hold the little demon had on him. In spite of the little devil’s petulance, Henry gently set him down next to Alice and gave his arm a slow pinwheel stretch. He ignored Bendy’s pointed, pouting glare, clearly not liking being rudely stripped from his warm perch. The fact that a draft ran along Henry’s apartment didn’t improve things much either.
“It’s cold,” said Bendy.
“I know. Sorry,” said Henry. He shouldn’t feel this guilty. “It’s all we got for now.”
The apartment was small, the circumstances messy, the bed a single, and tomorrow looked big and uncertain… but it was all Henry had on such short notice. He only got color back a day ago; he could worry about living conditions later.
Tomorrow. He could worry about it tomorrow.
He motioned to tuck them in and—stopped himself when Bendy gave him a look.
Why had he moved to do that?
He rubbed his neck and stifled a yawn with his knuckles.
“I’ll be in the den if you need me,” he mumbled, suddenly feeling very foolish.
“You’re not staying here?” Alice asked. Boris looked surprised as well, but Bendy ignored all of them and crawled under the sheets, pointedly looking away from Henry. Something about that stung, just a little.
“Not enough room for all of us on there, Angel,” said Henry. The stinging didn’t go away. He’d gotten them all out, hadn’t he? He brushed it off. “But, uh, I’ll leave the door open. You can bug me for anything.”
Alice nodded, but she looked like she wanted to say something else. Henry waited… and she just followed Bendy, tucking herself between the demon and the wolf without another word. Boris gave Henry a little wave, but didn’t say much more before his head fell back on the pillows. Within seconds, he was snoring up a storm along with Bendy, Alice silently snoozing between them.
“Thing’s’ll be better in the morning,” he said, half heartedly. He wasn’t sure if he was talking more to them or himself. “Promise.”
The Toons said nothing.
Henry trudged to the couch, every inch of him feeling almost as heavy and war-beaten as when he returned to the States from the Front. As he turned off the lamplight, he only hoped sleep would come to him as easily as it had the Toons.
In spite of a million thoughts churned in his mind, clicking like giant cogs. The studio, Bendy, Boris, Alice, Sammy, Joey, their escape, the look on Bendy’s face and the strange ache it left in his gut. Or maybe he was just tired from all the running and the fear and the coffee. Henry pushed it all down, too tired to think, and fell face first onto the lumpy, familiar couch. His arm was left dangling over the side.
Sleep fell over him like a thick, lead curtain. Like a flood of inky black.
***
Henry awoke from a nightmare, and for a moment he thought he was still dreaming it.
He couldn’t remember much, except there had been whites and grays and something about sheep—or was it the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf?— and a big, empty black void collapsing on top of him.  A faint whine broke through the void, someone’s whine—was it his? When his eyes snapped open, all he saw was black, and his heart wouldn’t stop pounding.
He was back. He was there. Back in the studio. Escaping had just been a wonderful, hopeful dream and he was still there he was going to die there and the Toons Were In Trouble—!
But when Henry bolted upright, he felt the familiar lump fabric of his couch, heard the familiar sound of taxi’s speeding by his building in the horrible early hours following midnight. He even welcomed the musty smell of newsprint and old beer. He wasn’t in the studio. He was safe.
And the Toons—
Henry leapt to his feet and bolted for his room in two easy strides. The door was open. And in the bed.
They were there. Safe and sound. Their silhouettes were easily recognizable, even in the faint moonlight and the faraway streetlamp light
Boris was leaning halfway out of the bed, tongue poking out and lolling to the side as he snored, his feet jutting out comically from under the covers over the end board. The blanket looks uncomfortable small on him. Alice was breathing deeply, her face twitching occasionally from deep REM, but otherwise looking peacefully saint-like. Her halo was crooked and looked dangerously close to falling on her face, disturbing her sleep. Bendy was silent, facing away from Alice and…
He softly whined.
Henry was at his side in a second. Had he woken Bendy up with his frantic flailing in the next room?
No, Bendy was still fast asleep, his face scrunched up tight, hands balling up the blanket and comforter in bunches, hogging it and pulling it away from Boris. A droplet of ink dribbled from his temple, staining the large pillow they shared.
Bendy was having a nightmare.
Without thinking, Henry reached for his pocket and pulled out a grey-stained handkerchief. Praying he didn’t startle the Toon awake, he gingerly mopped the loose ink from Bendy’s forehead. Bendy flinched away, curling tighter into himself. The little devil suddenly seemed very small.
Henry quietly shushed him and continued mopping up his clammy forehead, swiping it in long, gentle strokes. Slowly but surely, Bendy’s hands began to unclench, his brow starting to dry. His face refused to give an inch, his whines only becoming more anguished.
“….mmm…jo….ey?” Bendy breathed.
Henry’s chest seized. He lost his voice, but only for a moment.
“Nah… no, half pint,” said Henry, all the gruff and bite leaving it as he spoke softly to the little devil. “S’just me.”
A pause. Bendy shifted, shut eyes seeming to relax a fraction. “….old m’n?” he muttered.
“Yeah, yeah, it’s old grouchy me,” said Henry, wanting to laugh. “Everything’s fine. Go back to sleep.”
“…stay’ere th’s time… kay?” said Bendy. His face finally relaxed.
Henry stopped mopping.
All at once, Henry faintly remembered something very striking. Something very specific. When he was a young lad, he’d become sick with pneumonia, and despite all his aching and griping and being a pain, his mother had dropped everything— work, her book club, volunteering at the library— to sit at his bedside for almost a whole three-day weekend. It had almost made up for being sick while school was out. And while he was sick, she read him stories. Treasure Island and Huck Finn. He never remembered thanking her for it, but he did remember drawing James Hawkins fighting Captain Long John Silver. She’d tacked up his drawing on the fridge with a green magnet and never took it down. She smiled for weeks on end after getting that gift.
He thought about that memory— that old smile she had where the edges of her eyes crinkled at the edges, and her teeth shown and she wheezed out a quiet laugh.
Seeing Bendy go back to slumbering peacefully, he could only wonder… Had this been how she felt while he was growing up?
A tightness settled in Henry’s chest and a whole different ache fell over on him. It wasn’t an entirely new realization, one he’d been grappling with ever since Boris had shakily asked Henry if he really meant they’d all escape with the animator. Ever since he’d found Bendy blindly running from his own solemn doppleganger. Ever since He’d told Bendy that he was his own story’s protagonist.
He was responsible for these three now.
Now, that wasn’t to say that Henry was irresponsible. He was a hard working, a dependable man of routine, and could even come handy in a pinch.
But this was different. This was new. This was terrifying.
He was an old, bitter man. No living family left to speak of. Well on his way over the hill. Never had a thought in his mind about marriage or kids of his own, often only keeping his focus on staying alive, both during and after the war. Hell, he never even thought he’d set foot near an animation desk again before heading off to see Gabriel’s pearly gates (if he was that lucky). And yet, here he was, with three cartoons dropped in his lap. Who probably wouldn’t be able to handle living in the real world yet. Who probably shouldn’t be sharing a tiny bed in the middle of a run down apartment on the ass-end of a filthy city.
What could an angry old man with a tiny apartment and hardly anything to his name do for them?
“mmm… h’nry?” Bendy whined. Henry snapped out of his quiet, rising panic, stifling a yelp.
“S-still here,” he managed, feeling his voice crack.
“good…” Bendy relaxed against the pillow, completely at ease. Completely trusting.
The tightness in Henry’s chest finally unfurled, and his eyes felt a slight sting. He covered his mouth to muffle a deep, shaky sigh. Bendy had complete and utter trust in him. Was that a good thing? Did Henry deserve it? In spite of all that had happened these past few days, he suddenly didn’t feel so sure.
But… this was his chance right? He was supposed to figure things out now, wasn’t he? He felt so unprepared, like he’d been thrown out in No Man’s Land all over again.
But then again… this wasn’t like the war. Or the studio. Things were on his turf. If anyone should’ve felt like fish out of water, it was the Toons. He was the one with the knowledge of how the real world worked, how colors looked and how real sunlight felt on your skin.
He had to be there for them. He was going to be there for them.
They were all he had now.
Feeling more tired than ever, Henry stood from his seat as quietly as he could. He quickly grabbed Alice’s halo, just before it could teeter another centimeter and drop onto her nose, and after giving it a quick polish with his handkerchief, he set it on top of the bedside lamp, perfectly centered. He set to work on the blankets, adjusting it to be spread out evenly between the three of them— he left Boris’s feet sticking out, finding the silly sleeping position suited the wolf— and tucked them all in. It wasn’t the best, rough around the edges, and the blanket was lopsided. But Bendy re-curled around, snoring softly and facing Alice. Her head lolled, and she in turn nestled comfortably atop Bendy’s horns. Boris snuffled and licked his snout before settling more deeply against the pillow. They all seemed to just… fit together. Like puzzle pieces.
Henry felt that unfurling feeling return, and he quickly wiped his face.
Despite being exhausted, he hardly felt like returning to the lump couch. He returned to Bendy’s side of the bed, and took a seat. He knew his neck and back were going to kill him tomorrow, but he could worry about that later. He had more important matters to worry about.
Like making sure the other three got the best-damned night’s sleep they ever got. He wasn’t about to let their first night in the real world be a sorry one.
Tomorrow was going to be the roughest day of his life, and yet, somehow, he couldn’t find it in him to mind it.
I AM ACTUALLY SITTING HERE WIPING TEARS FROM MY EYES, GIRL
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.  I LOVE THIS.  I LOVE THIS SO, SO MUCH; YOU HAVE A LOVELY WRITING STYLE HOLY SMOKES.
masterpost of iconic lines/moments in Froot (2015) by Marina and the Diamonds
Happy:
  • when the chorus effect starts on the line “melted away like I was free” and my soul escaped my body, went to hell, and was immediately forgiven by the benevolent god that is marina diamandis
  • “I realize to be happy, maybe I need a little company” and I started crying one minute and forty seconds into the album
  • the sheer force with which my head was ejected from my body when she hits the high note on “I believe someone’s watching over me”
  • the chord changes in the bridge making me feel melancholy realness, honey
  • invented the piano, invented happy songs that sound sad, invented music
  • I’ve fallen asleep crying to this song an uncountable amount of times
Froot:
  • THE FUCKING BASS RIFF IN THE FIRST TWO SECONDS which precisely and methodically severed my ear canal from my cranium
  • everything about this song
  • “ju-u-u-uice, la la la la la la la” >>> the entire discography of the rolling stones, the beatles, led zeppelin, and all of your dusty-ass “iconic” faves
  • the sultriness of the fucking low G she hits perfectly and consistently throughout the verses
  • “but I ain’t in a patient phase” probably the most iconic modern music will get
  • the way she sings “come on fill your cup uuuuuuuUUUUUPP” shattering my femur
  • “i’ve been saving all my summers for you” assassinates all of the poetry by William Shakespeare combined
  • every part of the second verse, especially “baby I am plump and ripe, I’m pinker than shepard’s delight, sweet like honeysuckle late at night” which was better sex-ed than I received throughout my entire adolescent academic career
  • “birds and worms will come for me, the cycle of life is complete” making fucking DECOMPOSITION the sexiest thing anyone has ever said in the compendium of human history
  • The Fucking Bridge Melody that she sings well beyond the troposphere, above the stratosphere, and sitting sexily in the mesosphere
  • “oh my body is ready, yeah it’s ready, yeah it’s ready”
I’m a Ruin
  • marina single-handedly addressing the complexities of young-adult relationships with “I could treat you better but I’m not that smart”
  • the insane degree to which I scream “yeah yeah, uh huh, woo hoo, yeah yeah” at the end of the chorus, thus startling my neighbors and setting off car alarms
  • “It’s difficult to move on when nothing was right and nothing was wrong” making me spray tears out of my eyes like a machine gun
  • the way the back up vocals come in on “I’ve had my share of beautiful men, but I’m still young and I want to love again”
  • the dichotomy of “I’ll ruin you” and “I’m a ruin” are proven to be one and the same, thus ending the careers of marriage counselors across the world
Blue
  • the iconic and instantly-memorable backing track
  • the continuity between the themes of the last song with the opening line “we’ve broken up and now I regret it”
  • the FORESHADOWING of “and I don’t know why but I can’t forget it” which alludes to the themes of the NEXT song, Forget, basically proving Marina doesn’t need references to any body of literature but her own goddamn songs
  • “gimme love, gimme dreams, gimme a good self-esteem” ejecting my wig at mach 3 into another dimension
  • the sheer craftsmanship of the pre-chorus, which is perfectly catchy and memorable while refraining from cliches
  • the way the beat picks up on the chorus and I demand my non-existent ex to “gimme one more night”
  • “I’m sick of looking after you, I need a man to hold on to, I’m bored of everything we do, but I just keep coming back to you” proving marina is just as fed up with fuckboys as we are, but is just as flawed and hypocritical as us, showing her imperfections and making her more worthy of our worship
  • ending the song on the pre-chorus like the fucking INNOVATOR of MODERN MUSIC she is??? like please tell me WHEN will your fave
Forget
  • this list doesn’t include the visuals from the music videos but I will make an exception for the ICONIC wig she wears in the video
  • the vocals for “never heal” sending me into a tailspin and crashing into a ditch at 70 mph
  • 50% of the chorus is the word “forget” and it is STILL the height of modern literature
  • after her mention of an “abacus” in the second verse, abacus sales went up 2000% and surpassed their unprecedented popularity in ancient Greece
  • “yeah it’s time to be letting go, yeah baby you know what I’m talking about” probably the most iconique start to a bridge physically possible in this dimension
  • “YEAH I’VE BEEN DANCING WITH THE DEVIL I LOVE THAT HE PRETENDS TO CARE IF I’LL EVER GET TO HEAVEN WHEN A MILLION DOLLARS GETS YOU THERE OH ALL THE TIME THAT I HAVE WASTED CHASING RABBITS DOWN A HOLE WHEN I WAS BORN TO BE THE TORTOISE I WAS BORN TO WALK ALONE” is not supposed to be a high-intensity part of the song but I don’t fucking care obviously
  • the way she fucking develops the lyrics of the chorus throughout the song and makes each line the best life lesson you ever heard??? who is this woman?????
Gold
  • by FAR the most underrated song on the album for no goddamn reason like, have you demons even listened to it?? hmmmmm????
  • i have no idea how the accompaniment was made for the song but whoever did it was a genius and needs to be remembered for the rest of time
  • “doesn’t matter long as I am your star, sta-AAARRRR” melodically groundbreaking, please take notes everyone
  • “don’t think i want what I used to want, don’t think I need what i used to need” addressing the pains of growing out of old friendships and passions in a fun approach
  • “you can’t take away the Midas touch, so you better make way for a GREEK GOLD RUSH” YES MAMA REPRESENT YOUR COUNTRY LIKE THE GODDESS YOU AAAARE
  • knew she could rhyme “El Dorado” with “Colorado” and fucking did
  • the fade out at the end of the song painting her as a con-artist or corrupt gold-dealer being hauled off to jail while reveling in the near success of her schemes is what???? I C O N I C
Can’t Pin Me Down
  • this song is direct proof that marina is a straight up motherfucking KUNT in charge of her destiny. the album is labeled as explicit because of this ONE song and only ONE line: “you might think I’m one thing, but I am another. You can’t call my bluff, TIME TO BACKUP MOTHERFUCKER” like not only is this the most badass line in the history of language, but this line was so important to her that she made the album explicit JUST FOR THIS ONE LINE. SHE IS AN ICON. END OF STORY.
  • she is a feminist! BUT! “Do you really want me to write a feminist anthem, I’m happy in the kitchen cooking dinner for my husband” proving that you do NOT know this bitch. she is nothing you think she is. except that she is an I C O N.
  • the meter of “just another girl in the twenty-first century” has me unpredictably and immeasurably shook because she is just! that! kind! of! girl!
  • “You think I’m like the others, boy you need to get your eyes che-e-e-e-e-e-ecked, che-e-e-e-e-e-e-ecked” blew the skin clean off of my face
  • “i can be your russian doll” like,,,, gag
  • the entire concept and existence of this song is revolutionary and cements her position as the strongest female artist of our generation
Solitaire
  • holy FUCK you guys love to hate amazing songs, don’t you?? this song is without a doubt one of my favorites and you fuckers have the NERVE
  • the production on this song is one of a kind and continues to prove her versatility in style on this album. any reservations you had about her from electra heart better be EVAPORATED by this point.
  • the melodies on this song are, besides Froot, the catchiest on the album for me. they are so well crafted and inventive, i am shaking
  • “hard like a rock, cold like stone, white like a diamond, black like coal, cut like a jewel, yeah I repair myself when you’re not there” is such an amazing pre-chorus for this song like it could no possibly be better than that
  • the way the mood shifts from the verse to the chorus cut off my arms with raw blunt force
  • the flourish on the line “and I’ll admit all I wanna do is get drunk and silent” gave me an aneurysm
  • holy fucking SHIT the end of the bridge is for sure a highlight on the album. “but I’m not cursed, i’m not cursed, I was just covered in dirt” like damn marina go all the way off
  • the extra-dimensional high notes on this song are second to none, babes
Better Than That
  • “You’re just another in a long line of men she screwed” is the FUCKING WAY TO START A SONG, GIRLS. ARE YOU JOTTING THIS DOWN??
  • “So why’s she looking like a cat who got the cream?” ugh marina is so perfect I cannot deal with this bitch anymore
  • the sheer vocal talent on the chorus, like how high can this girl go? someday she’s going to rupture my eardrums and I will thank her personally
  • “with an angel voice, devil in disguise” the vocal production for this is perfect and successfully made me shit myself
  • “and she’ll network till her dreams come true, even if it means getting in a bed with you” miss marina is out for BLOOD everyone, the music industry is cowering in fear of her objective talent and lack of fucks
  • “i’m not passing judgment on her sexual life, I’m passing judgement on the way she always stuck her knife in my back” whoever this woman is she is getting READ for FILTH by lady diamandis and you all need to watch your backs
Weeds
  • this song is straight out of a sappy rom-com and I am fully living for it
  • “but it keeps growing back like WEEDS” I am currently screaming please give me a moment
  • “and God knows what sex is, a way to feel a bit, a little bit less lonely” marina chose sex to be a prominent theme on this album but she has shown she can handle it in the moment mature way any woman in the industry can. it’s subtle, it’s methodical, it isn’t vulgar, it’s just straight real and honest and such an important thing to discuss! this song is another aspect of how sex can be important in our lives. she better preach tbh
  • the aesthetics can reserved character on this song are a beautiful contrast that the album needed. filler tracks who???
Savages
  • full disclosure, this song blew a hole right through my body with the sheer impact of its lyrics and chorus
  • there are so many fucking good lyrics on this song, it’s truly baffling that anyone has a career in the music industry after this was dropped
  • “I’m not afraid of God, I am afraid of man” I am Screeching
  • the first beat of the chorus, my bodily fluids are already dripping from the ceiling and my bones are crushed into a fine powder
  • “underneath it all, we’re just savages hidden behind shirts, ties, and marriages” she is prophet, the chosen one, the woman who will deliver us from our mortal coils
  • “another day, another tale of rape, another ticking bomb to bury deep and detonate” Marina is fully aware of the important problems our nation is facing at the time the album was released and even to today. she isn’t a shallow artist like the persona she created in electra heart, she has become almost the exact opposite. She is taking on these issues with a clear judgment and grace and I am so proud and appreciative of her work.
  • “are you killing for yourself or killing for your savior?” YES YOU BETTER ASSASSINATE THESE MOTHERFUCKERS
  • the buildup in the last chorus to the E T H E R E A L ending is clearly the climax of modern pop music
Immortal
  • you could play this song for me and tell me it’s a message from an angel and I would 200% believe you
  • the melody on this track is so fucking pristine it’s like a glacier melting in your mouth
  • it continues the themes of humanity from Savages but looks at a completely different issue about it. this album is cohesive, planned out, and a complete and full body of work
  • the moment the chorus hits with “I’m forever chasing after time” my limbs are being forcibly extended by a device of love and torture
  • “but if the earth ends in fire, and the seas are frozen in time, there will be just one survivor, the memory that I was yours and you were mine” ok not kidding anymore this is STRAIGHT up MOTHER fucking POETIC genius and innovation at its most concentrated and talented moment
  • when she says “twice” on the high note in the chorus, it’s like the most beautiful bell shattering in my ear, tbqh
  • THE FUCKING BRIDGE is actual art. “I just wanna be able to say the I live my life” the way she executes this melody is cold-blooded and frankly she should be charged with manslaughter for it
bottom line, Marina Diamandis released the biggest breakthrough in pop music to date in 2015 and all of you demons let it flop. if you have the nerve to call this album a failure, I have literally 0 respect for you and no one is ever going to love you
Time blinks && glitches in the matrix
@sixpenceee
I have a few time blinks.
One specific one; was in my 1pm( class which is over at 5pm) And we were doing some mundane work. The teacher let us on break at the top of the hour ( 2pm). Everyone came back from break 2:10. I remember blinking . That’s it ! 1 blink and it was 5 pm.
I had a full days work done and was already in the process of saving my work on the jump drive but had noooo memory of doing any of it . I asked the girl next to me if I fell asleep at any time and she said no.
Glitch in the matrix #1
I was in highschool math and I had a TERRIBLE Case of Deja Vu. So we just started a new section and this is where the glitch/deja vu started, the teacher gave us a hand out and I looked at and filled it out quickly - as it was easy as hell. And I look to my friend -and laugh . I lived this day 3 days in a row .
EVERYTHING the same - the lecture notes the hand outs all of it . Except I had no copies of the notes I wrote or the copies of the hand out . But I could say exactly what was going to be on the slides down to the example on day 3 .
Masterlist
“Okay that’s the last one.” Your new step father said.
Your mother just remarried and she figured it’s time that everyone lived together. Your step father was sweet so you had no complaints but as for his daughter. She was a snob but all you could do was play nice.
The last of the boxes finally settled so you thought you would try to step out.
“Hey mom….can I go to Jins?”
“No, we are having our first dinner tonight as a family.” You mother complained.
“I’ll be back….he only lives a few blocks away.”
Your mom didn’t like the fact that Jin lived by himself, technically he had a roommate but she still didn’t approve of you going there. He only was a few years older then you, three years to be exact. She also didn’t understand that you were just friends so nothing ever happens between you two. One more year and you can move out, you were counting the days.
“Fine you better be here….you got two hours.” You smiled and left quickly.
-
You knocked outside of your friends door. The door opened and you saw Namjoon. “You’re not pizza.” He said disappointed.
“Rude.” You pushed him out of the way. “Why do you need pizza when you have Jin….he cooks better then my mom.”
“I do.” He laughed from the kitchen.
“Can you make me my-” Before you could finish he rolled his eyes annoyed.
“Every time….you only come over for my goodies.” He whined.
You laughed as you wrapped your arms around him from behind. “That’s not true.” You giggled. “That’s the second reason.”
“Okay fine…one apple strudel coming up.”
“Thank you….my mom loves them too so I’m gonna have to hide them.”
“Or I could give you the recipe and you could make them yourself.” You glared at him causing him to do his famous laugh.
You heard a knock on the door. “Now this better be the pizza.” Namjoon got up.
He opened the door and you saw their friend Hoseok at the door with the pizza. “Thank you for the free pizza.” Namjoon grabbed it off his hands.
“No not again….you got me in trouble.” Hoseok complainted. “This is my third job in a year can you please not get me fired.” Namjoon glared and gave him his card so he could swipe it.
“What’s the point of working there if you can’t give your friends discounts.” You laughed.
“Hey what the hell (Y/N), you used to be on my side.”
“I am.” You didn’t noticed Jin look down upset as you bear hugged Hoseok.
You were like a little sister to all of Jin and his friends but the one thing you didn’t know was that Jin had feelings for you.
“Do you want some pizza?” Namjoon asked.
“No…..my mom is making me go home to dine with my new family.” You said in a mocking tone.
“They moved in?” Hoseok asked.
“Yeah.” You arched your eyebrows.
“Bummer.” Namjoon said.
“I have to get back to work.” Hoseok said goodbye and left.
You walked over to the kitchen just as Jin put your strudel in the oven. “What time do you have to go back?” He asked.
“I have an hour.” You both sunk in to the couch next to Namjoon and put on a movie.
Before you know it the movie ended and you felt your phone buzz in your pocket. When you looked at the ID, you saw it was your mother. Shit!!
“Hi mom.” You said cheerfully.
“Where are you?”
“I’m on my way home.” You lied as you started putting your shoes on.
“You always do this.” Your mother said disappointed.
“I’m sorry I’ll be there any minute.” And you snapped and hung up.
“I better go.”
“Don’t forget your strudel.” Jin said and you grabbed it and left.
-
As soon as you entered the chamber you call home you heard loud laughter coming from the dining room. When you entered the room you saw your mother and your step father on each side of the table and the backs of your annoying step sister Mina and the back of some guys head.
“(Y/N) Your late.” You mother tried to not sound annoyed.
“I’m sorry.” You said as you made your way around the table getting a view of your mystery guest. You felt your stomach sink once you saw him. What the fuck is he doing here?
As soon as he saw your face, he went pale, like he seen a ghost. It was Wonwoo, your ex boyfriend. Why was he here? He can’t be dating her.
“(Y/N) this is Wonwoo, my boyfriend.” Mina said to break the awkward silence. This is unreal.
“Hi.” You said with no emotion. He nervously smiled. It wasn’t a surprise your mother didn’t recognize him, she was always busy with her work.
“I thought this was a family dinner?” You sassed.
“(Y/N) What’s with you?” Your mother whispered but it was clear that everyone could hear.
“Nothing it’s just that I didn’t know we could of invite guest unless I would of.” You rolled your eyes looking down.
“Mina gave us permission, but you can invite people over too (Y/N).” Your step dad nicely said.
“My mom never told me that.” You continued your gaze down at your plate.
“Invite your friend over tomorrow.” He said.
“You have friends?” Mina smirked.
She can act like that and get away with it but when you do it your mother acts like all hell broke loose.
“I have lots of friends actually and they all exists.” You snickered. “Can I invite Jin over mom?”
“Who’s Jin.” Mina said annoyed.
My boyfriend.”
You heard your mother cough while swallowing her food. “Boyfriend?”
“Yeah.” You said it like it was obvious.
“You told me-”
“Mom we had this talk already I know you don’t approve because he’s older but you never even got to know him.” Which was kind of true but with the wrong message.
Your mother looked at you confused and angry at the same time. “We need to talk about this later.” You nodded.
-
“Sorry what?” Jin asked because he thought he misheard what you said.
“Did I tell you how handsome you look today.” You avoid his question.
“Did you just ask me to be your boyfriend?” He was still confused.
“So handsome.” He just glared at you confused. “Okay fine…… that’s exactly what I said.”
“Why?” He carried out the word.
“Don’t get offended or anything because you’re my best friend and I love you.” You held your hands together placing them over your chest.
“Can you please pretend to be my boyfriend because my evil witch from another planet step sister is dating my ex.”
“Wonwoo?” He asked.
“Yes Jin…because I’ve been in so many relationships.” You said sarcastically. “So will you help me?”
“Why do you need me, you said you were over him.”
“I am I just want to show him that I’m not pathetic and I can get another guy.” You said grouchy.
“Being single doesn’t make you pathetic.”
“I know I just don’t want Mina to find out, she’ll gloat in my face.”
He rolled his eyes. “Technically you don’t have a choice because I kinda told everyone already.” You bit your lip nervously. He glared at you.
“Okay.”
“Thank you.” You gave him the biggest hug ever. “I told my mom that you could come to dinner tomorrow night.”
“I don’t know if I can fake it.”
“Jin come one….its not hard.”
He looked at you concerned. “Let’s practice.” You sat closer to him. “Kiss me.” His eyes shot open wide. “It’s okay.” You giggled.
He wasn’t making any movements so you grabbed his cheeks and brought your lips to his. It took him a while to work against your lips but he eventually responded. You removed your hands from his face and leaned them on his shoulders. You can’t believe you are saying this but it felt nice.
“Woah, what’s going on?” You heard Namjoon enter the room.
You both looked at him stunned. “You guys are together now? It’s about time.” He laughed.
“No, it’s a long story but I’ll see you tomorrow right?” You got up ready to leave.
He nodded. “What was that?” Namjoon asked Jin.
“It’s a long story I guess.”
-
You watched as your mother set the table with an attitude. “You still mad at me?”
“You lied to me.”
“I’ll take that as a yes.” You mumbled. “I’m sorry if I told you the truth then you wouldn’t have let me go.”
“That’s right I wouldn’t of.” She argued.
“Why are you so mad….you said you liked Jin.”
“Yeah but you said you were just friends.”
“We still are mom….we are exploring.” Your mother rolled your eyes.
“Jin’s a gentleman…he hasn’t even touched me yet.”
“Aish.” Your mother rubbed her forehead stressed.
“Hey dear.” Your step dad entered.
“He’s here.” You followed the knocking at the door.
You bumped into Mina on your way to the door. “Jeez what has gotten into you?”
“My boyfriends here.” You gloated.
You opened the door and there he was your best friend/pretend boyfriend. You noticed the slight change in his hair color. You arched your eyebrows at him.
You greeted him and wrapped your arms around his neck kissing him on the lips. He was caught off guard again but soon responded.
You heard a voice clearing behind you. Mina. “Jin this is Mina my step sister ” You said rushed, so she can go away.
“Hi.” She greeted cheerfully. “Nice to meet you.” She shook his hand. She was putting on some shy act. Was she attracted to Jin?
You looked at her and shoo'ed her away. She smiled and met your parents in the kitchen.
“I don’t see you for a day and you die your hair pink.” You noticed the slight tint of rose color coming off his blonde as soon as he stepped in the light.
“It was Namjoons idea.” He laughed.
“Why do you listen to him?” You grabbed his hand and led him to where the rest of the house was.
Your mother played nice even though she was in the past. Did Mina forget she had a boyfriend? She has your ex boyfriend and now she wants your fake boyfriend. You could tell that Jin was uncomfortable by the way she would constantly gaze at him.
“So Jin how long have you two been dating?” Your step dad asked.
“We have-” You started but your mom interfered.
“He asked Jin.” Your mother warned you.
He looked at you before he answered. “About two months now.” He lied. Your mom looked more ashamed of you because you lied but you knew in the end she prefer him then other guys.
-
The rest of dinner was pretty awkward. You walked Jin to his car. “Good job buddy.” You patted him on the back.
“How long are you going to make me do this?” He sounded disappointed.
“I don’t know.” You shrugged your shoulders.
“Good night (Y/N).” He opened his car door.
“Hey, are you okay?” He nodded. You knew something was wrong but you didn’t want to push it.
As soon as he drove away, another car pulled up. Wonwoo. What is he doing here?
“Hey (Y/N).” He got out leaning on his car.
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m picking up Mina.” He answered.
“This late.” You sassed. “Never mind I don’t care.”
“You know I had no idea she was your sister.” He said.
“Step sister.” You corrected.
He walked up closer to you. “So you really seeing someone huh?” He was strangely close, which made you uncomfortable for Mina’s sake.
“Yup.” His eyes lingered down to your lips.
“You sure or are you just saying that to make me jealous.” He smirked leaning in closer to you.
You pushed him away from you. “What the fuck are you doing? What happened to you…you’ve changed.” You said distressed.
“Did you pull these stunts when you were with me…is that why you broke up with me because you were afraid I was going to find out?” You continued.
“I was just kidding chill….I broke up with you because you were a clingy bitch.” You were stunned those words left his mouth. He was never like this, or so you thought.
“Wow…best to luck with you and Mina because I’ll tell you she’s something…..she couldn’t even take her eyes off my boyfriend at dinner.” You smiled deviously and head towards the door.
As soon as you opened the door you saw Mina walking down the stairs. “The garbage man is here to take out the trash.” You smiled at her confused face and went to your room.
-
All week you begged Jin to go to your house to hang out instead of his. You couldn’t help but noticed Jin’s cold attitude towards you lately, but it was only when you two were alone other then that he acted fine. And boy could he act, he acted like a true boyfriend around your family. You liked it.
Every time you would kiss him, you actually felt butterflies in your stomach. You loved when he held your hand and you loved how he complimented you. Were you falling for your best friend?
As cliche as it sounds when you kissed him for the first time just a week ago, you felt a spark. The only problem was you thought he didn’t feel the same way.
You two were sitting on the couch watching a movie at your house. You were alone together, or so you thought. You looked at Jin as he was focusing on the movie. He was so handsome. You hated yourself for never seeing him that way before. Things were different now, you saw him different now.
You felt butterflies as you watched him bite his lips. You couldn’t control yourself much longer. You grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him towards you as you kissed him desperately. He responded immediately as he smiled into the kiss. You deepened the kiss as you explored his mouth with your tongue. You moved your hand down his chest feeling every inch of him. You were surprised he wasn’t stopping you. You had a little hope that he felt the same way.
“Woah get a room.” You heard an annoying familiar voice ruining the moment behind you. Both of you didn’t say anything as you watched Mina and Wonwoo head up stairs.
“We’ll be upstairs.” Mina said. You caught a glimpse of Wonwoo’s face, it was pure jealousy.
You slightly smiled and faced Jin once again. He had a look of realization, but then turned to anger.
“Wow for a second I thought that was real.” Then he got up and grabbed his jacket.
“Wait Jin.” You ran after him but he was almost to his car already.
“It was real.” But he didn’t hear you as he drove off.
-
You knocked on the door quickly hoping he would answer. The door opened and to your surprise it was Namjoon.
“He doesn’t want company.” He tried to close the door.
“Wait please I need to talk to him.” He wasn’t budging. “Please.” You said sadly.
He opened the door for you and looked at you ashamed. “Do you think you could leave us alone for a bit.” You smiled sadly.
“Only if you promise not to break his heart even more.”
“Trust me I won’t.” You smiled and Namjoon grabbed his keys and left.
You knocked on Jin’s door softly. “Namjoon I told you I’m fine.” He answered but you just knocked again. You heard a groan and movement. He opened the door and his facial expression changed as he noticed you. He didn’t expected you of all people.
“What are you doing here?” He looked at you hard.
“To apologize.” You didn’t let him answer you just wrapped your arms around his neck pulling him into your lips.
He slowly pulled away and looked at you crushed. “Why are you doing this to me?”
“I wasn’t acting Jin….I didn’t know they were there.”
He gave you a look that he didn’t believe you. “I know what I did was wrong but this past week with you.” You blushed. “I realized how I felt about you.”
“Your not saying that just to save our friendship are you?”
“Nope.” You pushed him farther back and shut the door behind you. He had a smile on his face but he still looked confused.
“You really have feelings for me?” He said worryingly. You pushed him again until he fell back on his bed.
“Yes Jin…I’m sorry that it took me this long.” You climbed on to him straddling his hips.
You leaned down kissing him intensely. You felt him grab onto your hips tugging on your shirt. You sat back up to pull off your shirt.
“How long have you like me?” You said lustfully.
“A while.” He smirked.
You leaned back done kissing his neck. You could already feel him getting aroused underneath you. He got confident and flipped you both over so he was on top. You reached for your own jeans and sliding them off as he kissed your neck.
“Jin.” He mumbled against your neck to show he was listening. “Please make love to me.”
He pulled away looking at you seriously. Jin knows that you’re a virgin and asking him was a big step because even when you were with Wonwoo you held out as long as you could because you weren’t ready.
“I want you to be my first.” You whispered. He sweetly smiled at your request. That signaled you to continue so you reached for his pants buckle as he pulled off his shirt.
He then pulled down your panties kissing up your thigh all the way up your stomach until he reached your lips again. He was so fragile with your body and it gave you shivers.
He knew that your first time was a memory that would linger your mind forever and he wanted it to be special. In that moment you knew you made the right decision. You couldn’t have asked a better person to be your first. Your best friend to fake boyfriend to your real boyfriend.
You reached your hand down his boxers feeling his erect member. You felt butterflies as you gently stroke him. This was all new to you and you couldn’t help but feel excited.
He pulled off the rest of his pants as he reached into his side table grabbing a condom. You quickly removed your bra as he started to unroll the latex down his length. You felt nervous. He leaned over you again and kissed you passionately.
“This is going to hurt a little.” He blushed.
In that case you didn’t care you just wanted to feel connected with him. You felt comfortable and warm. You responded by kissing him once more.
You felt his member brush your folds before he slowly slid into you. You quietly screeched from the sting. “You want me to stop.” He sweetly asked with concern.
“No….just move slow.” You smiled. The first few thrust were slow and painful but it felt better as your body finally adjusted to his size. He continued slow until you told him to move faster.
“You sure?” You nodded. As he picked up the pace the pain turned into pleasure. The pleasure was nice. You could get used to this.
He kissed your neck roughly probably leaving marks as he rocked against your body. You wrapped your legs around his waist from under the blanket to get better angle. You moaned feeling the pleasure stir up in your stomach. This new feeling was like a drug to you and you wanted more of it.
He reached around kissing your lips softly. He interlocked his fingers with yours as you both worked against each other. You felt the tingling feeling wash over your body as it made its way down to your toes numbing them in the process. You let the feeling take control of your body as you weakly laid there under Jin.
You felt Jin slow down his pace as he quietly moaned against your lips. You felt him warm up your insides as his slow thrust came to a complete stop. You still felt like you were in a daze. You were replaying every detail in your mind as you still tried to catch your breath. Jin swiftly rolled over to your side trying to steady his breathing as well.
You couldn’t help but giggle from the feeling. “That was amazing.” You sounded cliche like some predictable Rom-Com but you couldn’t help it.
“Your welcome.” You smiled from the fact he was still trying to catch his breath.
You rolled over so you could lean into his arms. He wrapped his arms around you as you both cuddled enjoying the moment. You looked up smiling at his beautiful face. He leaned down pecking your lips cutely.
“Finally!” You heard someone shout from the other end of the apartment. Namjoon? What the fuck.
Okay the idea I had for a fic (I couldn’t possibly write) is that Lena finds out about Lex having a 18 mo child and she becomes the baby’s legal guardian (she adopts them later ofc), and her and Kara aren’t together yet but they’ve become more close than what we’ve seen in canon so far. Kara helps out a lot with this new change in Lena’s life having found out not only her brother has a child she is now responsible for, she now has this chance of having somewhat a second chance? 1/2
And Kara is there by her place a lot, they get together you know the drill. Basically a bit of angst regarding Lena’s feelings about the entire situation and *lots* of Supercorp domesticity and them acquiring an adorable child and getting together in the process. If this isn’t your cup of tea would you let me know? 2/2
She was led into an office and left alone with a cup of lukewarm coffee for nearly fifteen minutes before the door opened to reveal Maggie Sawyer.
Lena couldn’t exactly help her eye-roll.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, detective, but I was under the impression your job involved investigating aliens in National City, not just Luthors.”
“Brr,” Maggie said, grinning as she sat down in the seat next to Lena. “You know, I’ve heard of the world famous icy Luthor charm, but damn if those descriptions don’t do you justice.” She leaned back in her seat, arms crossing over her chest, still grinning—much to Lena’s annoyance.
“What are you doing here?”
“You may find this hard to believe, but I’m here for you.”
“Funny, I do find that hard to believe,” Lena said, leaning back as well. “Can you tell me what’s going on at least?”
To Maggie’s credit, she looked conflicted for a moment, like she was actually debating on telling Lena the truth.
“I can tell you that I really want to be here to see the look on your face,” she finally said, shrugging a little. “And also because I promised my friend who works for social services that I wouldn’t leave her alone with you.”
“Social services? Why would—”
She was interrupted when the door opened again, a small woman with short hair entering the office with a vaguely worried expression on her face. It was obvious she was the friend Maggie had mentioned, if the tiny smile Maggie gave her was any indication. Lena watched her settle into the only empty seat left—across the table from Lena and Maggie—and clasped her hands together, sitting up straight and meeting Lena in the eye.
“Ms. Luthor,” she began, her voice gruffer than Lena expected. “My name is Sarah Wilkins. I work with Child Protective Services. I’m here to speak with you about Ally.”
Lena blinked, not following at all.
“I’m sorry, who?”
“Alexandra Peters, your niece.”
