these movies i mean

I mean I’m excited about movie but im also apprehensive based on the poster because boy i love Dazai and i love Chuuya but there is nothing interesting to me about their interaction to me especially when there are so many other characters and Chuuya basically doesn’t exist outside of his relation to Dazai

This was a drawing I did a while back basing if off one of the Coraline’s movie posters. I have been meaning to finish it, but I’m a little lazy… Also I decided to keep it in the movie style kinda… Drawing the different designs is quite fun! But the only thing I dislike about bit is Papyrus’ head, whyyyy is he so hard to draw?

Anyway before I start ranting, I hope you like it!

This is of importance

Shrek is a really really deep movie when you think about it. I mean I haven’t seen it in a while but it really speaks to me and is really poetic, but then kids had to ruin it with memes. But overall 10/10 one of the best movies created and very influential

How my grad school interview today could have gone
  • Me: *tries to sound all smart and professional*
  • Interviewer: Are those Care Bears on your pants?
  • Me: *looks down at pajama pants*
  • Me: Yes. Mhhmm. Yeah.
  • Me: See, the thing you have to understand is that when I was little I watched the Care Bears movie approximately twelve thousand times. I mean literally daily, if I could get away with it. And apparently it was very scarring for my brother, who was six years older than me, because he remembered it and gave me these pants for Christmas a few years back.
  • Interviewer: I see.
  • Interviewer: *doesn't see*
  • Me: Also, they're super soft and comfortable and I love them.
  • Interviewer: I know there's a time difference, but isn't it afternoon where you are as well?
  • Me: Yes?
  • Interviewer: . . .
  • Me: I don't see what you're getting at.
  • Interviewer: You're wearing pajamas. In the afternoon. During a grad school interview.
  • Me: A *skype* interview. From my home. Time of day is irrelevant. If I'm at home, I'm wearing pajama pants.
  • Me: And sometimes they have Care Bears on them.
  • Me: So . . . about those scholarships . . .

@Nova Have you ever called you and Connor hanging out a "date", to yourself?

Nova:…

*flashback

*nova is sitting next to Connor on the couch, watching a movie*

Nova (thinking to herself) is this a date? I mean we’re not dating but it’s like a date but it’s not a date because we’re you know best friends. but is it? i mean do friends going out count as a date? but that’s not how works. or is it? i don’t what the hell a date is? Is this a date?! WHY THE HELL DO I CARE?!

*end flasback*

Nova; psst, of course not……though you hypothetically……if two friends, you know, hang out by themselves. you know what, never mind.

hey do u think watching the movie nymphomaniac would be bad since it demonises asexuals? im hypersexual so the main topic really interests me and its hard to find any media that talks about hypersexuality thats why i wanna watch it (im not ace but i am lgbt+ and an inclusionist)

I mean that movie does demonize both aces and hypersexuals so I’m not sure if that’s the kind of representation you’re looking for. There’s a review (with some minor spoilers) if you want to know more.

But I do understand that representation can be very difficult to find and sometimes you just don’t have any other options…If you really want to watch this movie just do what I do when I want to watch problematic content and watch it illegally ;)

...oh, and a final note on the KISS movie.

The last 15 minutes of it…

…are, like, 83%…

…just shots so the viewer…

…can nearly…

…but not quite

…see up Daphne and Velma’s skirts…

…again, and again, and again…

…just ‘cause the movie can.

I mean, c’mon, Warner-Brothers, the old animators snuck in a proper upskirt frame way back in the *‘70s*, for goodness’ sake.

If you’re gonna do it, at least do it right

What’s the big deal, anyway? Scooby’s naked all the time, and he doesn’t care. The Scoob does as does the Scoob wants.

Blurb Night!

It’s that time again! Blurb night is here! But with a little catch, I’m afraid!

As y’all have probably noticed, my inspiration and motivation to write has been a little lacking lately. As such, I think I want to focus on what’s really been capturing my attention/imagination lately! Fantasy, historical fiction, Disney movies, etc. Meaning, if y’all don’t mind too much, I would prefer that y’all send in requests dealing with those subjects?!?

I’m gonna break it down by category for clarification:

Fantasy: creatures, magic (obviously outside the realm of HP), cross-over with other fantasy books/shows/movies i.e. The Princess Bride, etc.

Historical Fiction: Pirates, knights, royalty topics, any period piece (up until the 1960s), etc.

Disney Movies: You can give me a movie, quote, or specific scene and a character and I’ll come up with something! You can be as detailed in your requests as you like and I’ll do my best!

I hope I’m not being too demanding! Y’all are welcome to come up with anything you’d like from any of those ‘categories,’ the ones I provided were just examples! Please let me know if y’all have any questions! And I really hope I’m not being too specific…
