I wished that when Konoha tried to imprison him, Sasuke pulled a FTSIO instead of complying. Naruto gets pissed because all his hard work to get him back was wasted. Sasuke travels the world with Team Taka as vigilantes. Naruto stays in Konoha to fix the government first and make it a better place before asking Sasuke to come back and stay. Naruto ASKS this time because he understands Sasuke's distrust so he will respect his decision. Sasuke appreciates Naruto's consideration and decides to

ANON WHERE DID YOU GO?? PLEASE COME BACK AND FINISH IT!!!

WHAT DOES SASUKE DECIDE TO DO??!!

Aaaahh…but aside from that, I really really love this. I mean, Sasuke deserting Konoha and travelling with Team Taka is like one of my ultimate HCs. I can totally see Naruto being pissed as hell Sasuke just up and left, but the fact he actively tries to fix the government instead of whatever the hell he did in ‘canon’ :-/ makes me feel like he’s trying to change everything because of Sasuke and it’s like he’s finally seeing how fucked up the place is.

And Naruto ASKING Sasuke to come back to the village (come back to him) is just beautiful. THAT is the kind of development I would have loved to see with Naruto, as he accepts that he can’t KEEP Sasuke there, but he can SHOW Sasuke how much he really WANTS him there.

PLEASE come back and tell me more, anon-chan! I’m dying to know what happens next! ;////;

i havent thought about my Superman glam rock AU since Bowie died but it was good I should revisit it….

the timeline could have Clark running away from home and becoming a glam rock groupie in his 20s during like 1975-1980

he feels like the people he can identify with most are singers whose songs are about being an alien, outer space, feeling isolated and other from humanity

he gets caught up in a whirlwind of glitter and sequined world, traveling on tour buses, blending in by being just as outlandish and flamboyant as everyone else. he tells everyone he’s an alien, but they assume its part of his shtick. He cries every time he listens to Bowie.

Lex could be an anarchist punk who has also run away from home and his abusive dad and is pretending that he’s not rich and sleeping on people’s couches and also traveling with different punk bands. he gets mugged all the time because he always has a lot of cash on him and he’s bald so everyone assumes he’s a neo nazi but hes actually just been bald since he was 8.

The group Lex is in gets involved in a big fight that breaks out at a glam rock concert that Clark is also at. They meet when Lex throws a punch at Clark and ends up breaking three fingers when his fist collides with Clark’s beautiful glitter covered face. Clark takes him to the E.R.

“The strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon.”

I love how Steven Universe covers so many different types of trauma and loss?

Jasper has been largely written off as a savage, irredeemable brute with simplistic motives and a steadfast devotion to Homeworld. A mere Quartz unable to think outside the box of her creation. This episode freakin’ harpooned those suppositions into duST and I am reeling.

Now we see that Jasper clings to her given purpose because of what she’s seen. She vehemently loathes Earth because of her experiences of LOSS. She’s seen what breaking out of the mold of Homeworld results in. Destruction. War. The decimation of her colony, her planet, her Diamond. Everything she was created for was shattered into nothing in the wake of the Crystal Gems, and she loathes them for it.

Vengeance, despite any intentions, is self-destructive at its core. It completely eats away at you, poisons you, makes you angry with anything and everything that dares to come between you and your target. You might wear a facade, pretend that nothing is wrong and you’re okay, but you’re not. You’re drowning on the inside, ruining yourself. Eventually, it seeps through those cracks, and the ruin it causes becomes far more visually tangible.

Jasper’s “corruption” has been underway for thousands of years, not just for the span of a few episodes. Her need for an eye for an eye blinded her to everything else, allowed her to ignore that festering wound left from the loss of literally everything she held dear. It allowed her to do terrible things without acknowledging them, wrong people without flinching. Because that’s how monstrous a grudge can become.

Looking back at her hostility, her heartless pragmatism, we can finally see Jasper for what she’s been all this time. She’s a desolate, pitiable person at her core, desperate for closure on a gaping wound that never healed.
