5 things only people who are perscribed to Vyvanse/Adderall understand

1. Being physically, but not mentally, hungry.

You hear your stomach growl. You know that you need to eat so you head to your pantry. You scan everything in it, but nothing appeals to you. On a good day, you might find something that interests you. But after a few bites, you’re already full. When you’re prescribed Vyvanse, every day is a battle of forcing yourself to eat, just so you can take in the calories you need. Many may think this sounds ideal, a simple way to suppress your appetite and lose a few pounds. But when your ribs start to show and your doctor is hassling you about being underweight, or when people ignorantly assume you have an eating disorder, it’s not so fun. Vyvanse makes us completely repulsed of something so simple that we once loved: food.

2. Being an asshole.

For those who take Adderall/Vyvanse recreationally, it can make them feel unusually talkative and social. For us ADD/ADHD-ers, it calms us down, and sometimes even makes us the opposite of social. If we’re trying to get something done, don’t take it the wrong way when we come off as an asshole for not wanting to be social with you. When we’re focused on something and you’re repeatedly clicking your pen, please don’t take our death stare the wrong way. We’re just irritable because you’re distracting us from what the Vyvanse is telling us we need to do: focus.

3. Hyperfocusing on exactly what we’re not supposed to be focusing on.

For those of us who have ADD/ADHD, Vyvanse doesn’t magically make us limitless. Sometimes although we are able to focus, it’s on the wrong thing (Example: Me writing this article during class). Whatever it is that we are hyperfocusing on, has to be perfect. And this can take a while, distracting us from what really needs to be done. For us, overcoming distractions and ADD/ADHD is more than just taking a pill a couple times a day. It also takes serious willpower and learned cognitive behavioral skills in order to filter out the loads of irrelevant stimuli that flood our brains.

4. Becoming a zombie.

You’re not really sure where your personality went. You’re not really sure when the last time you smiled was because you’re feel so serious. You’ve been intently staring for so long that you remind yourself to blink. Your jaw is clenched. Someone may ask you if you’re okay or if you’re in a bad mood. You’re fine of course; the Vyvanse just makes you feel flat.

5. Being physically, but not mentally, exhausted.

Your body is sore and your eyes burn. Lying down feels so good, but sleep is out of the question. Your eyes won’t stay closed and your mind is still alert. Every day requires strategically not taking your meds too late, otherwise you will be miserable come bedtime, staring at the ceiling for hours. Naps during the day? Say goodbye to those.

Basically, we just want you to understand even though you maybe never will.

Vyvanse isn’t fun. Dealing with all of the above almost daily isn’tideal. And dealing with a real ADD/ADHD diagnosis is FAR fromlucky. Vyvanse isn’t a drug to joke about or buy in the library. It’s a medication that helps struggling individuals every day, and despite the negative side effects, we need that help

I look at the world around me and I have no doubt in GOD. I skim through the chapters of my life and again, I have no doubt in GOD. I feel his overbearing gift of peace. A gift I have not earned but have been given anyways. I only aspire to be a tool used by GOD. That I am his daughter and I roam the earth sharing good news. I pray that I don’t become of this world, but that I am transformed and changed by the renewal of my mind. That’s this new heart planted inside me is so bright it’s blinds my enemies miles away . That the Lords presences is so strong in my life it make the evil and negative forces weak. Unable to touch even a glimpse of my soul. Unable to speak evil wrong things against me because I am protected under the blood of Christ. I pray that I do not eat with those who are greedy. Who thrive in lust and boast about themselves. I aspire to eat with the poor, to teach the youth, to hug those who seem unlovable. I pray the fruits of my spirit grow a garden filled with rich knowledge, wisdom, and love to feed the roots within me. I pray my determination takes me to the highest mountain. Only to watch those who did me wrong become a speck of dust. I aspire to be more than Internet ideal beauty.. I aspire to teach those to not only love themselves but love others. To treat myself as a temple. To cater to my needs. To allow scripture to water my soul. To not let the storm discourage me but bring me strength. To be love. I aspire to let the heaven in me fill the earth. To be all that he is. This is my promise to God.

I just really like how Wonder Woman was played throughout the film just as a whole.

For as much as it’s being hyped as “Female Superhero Movie!” and “Female Director!” (and those are good things, don’t get me wrong!) the actual movie doesn’t hammer in the fact that Look, she’s a woman! Doing cool things! again and again, it only shows us Diana doing those Cool Things.

It would have been so easy to do, especially in a 1910s setting when women still didn’t have the right to vote, to have reiterated how Strong and Empowered Diana is verbally the whole time and have her reassert her agency. Instead Diana shows us her agency because she just assumes it’s never even questioned, and the idea that a woman couldn’t do what she can never crosses anyone’s mind, especially her own.

When she crosses No Man’s Land, there’s no line of “I am no man!” even though that is definitely the intended stealth pun. Because this movie knows we’re not stupid and don’t need that spelled out for us.

And that was fantastic.

magnus: taako you know vriska did a lot of things wrong right

Brett and Y/N’s relationship isn’t easy. They both go to two different high schools and are constantly busy trying to save their town from the supernatural chaos. Yet, somehow, they make it work. It’s rare when they have time for each other, but when they do, they make every second count. They would go out on movie and bowling dates, go out to eat, or sometimes stay home to cuddle, and simply enjoy being with one another. Just like right now.

As soon as the final bell rang, Brett surprised Y/N by showing up in her school’s parking lot. He was leaning against his car, with his ankles crossed, and his arms folded to his chest. It was like Jake waiting for Samantha in Sixteen Candles. He took her to get ice cream at her favorite ice cream parlor. Afterwards they went back to his place, where they were just going to watch a movie, but ended up in his bed. Now, they were wrapped in each other’s arms with their half naked bodies underneath the sheets.

“God, I’ve missed you,” Brett said as he pulled her to his bare chest. She hummed in agreement as she cuddled against him, taking in the mixed smell of his cologne and sweat. Brett ran his fingers through her silky hair and kissed her forehead. “I love you.”

Y/N drew random shapes on his lower back with the tip of her fingers as she buried her face at the crook of his neck, peppering it with soft wet kisses. “I love you, too,” she sighed in content.

Brett heard a set of footsteps after car doors were slammed. He leaned up on his elbows to look out his bedroom window and noticed Stiles’ baby blue jeep was parked in the driveway. Brett has gotten closer to Scott and Stiles since he started dating Y/N. It came to a point where they could come and go into each other’s houses without knocking or ringing the doorbell.

“Shit,” Brett mumbled as the best friends walked up to the front door and opened it.

I have never, ever said that Lampblack Bendy was a good guy. In fact I have stated outright that he is not. Other characters have noted his ability for cruelty… Bendy has sadistic tendencies. He’s essentially a disempathetic sociopath. He’s a demon, it comes with the territory. He’s a bad mamma jamma.

It’s not like this is a personality trait everyone has just come to accept. Even Bendy doesn’t look back on his behavior with pride, if only because he wants to make those he loves proud. It’ll be a week before he understands why the team is disappointed in him, but he will understand it. He might not regret it, but he understands that it made them upset, that it’s an extension of his demonic tendency. He enjoyed it, he’s not gonna fake that he didn’t, but he’ll put it on the list of “things wrong with me”.
