Alrite, here we go!

What is Altertale?

Altertale is an Undertale AU, a universe where Sans has switched roles with Toriel, Papyrus with Asgore, and Gaster with Asriel. There are no other swapped characters in this AU, meaning only Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Asgore, Asriel, and Gaster have been altered in this AU. Everything else remains mostly unchanged.

If We Were A Movie (Seventeen Preference)
  • AN: this was probably one of the best requests of all time, I felt so so inspired by it and I hope you guys like it to. I'm seriously thinking about turning this into a whole serious, where each of these is a boy x reader oneshot so pls lemme know what you think of that idea? <3
  • S.Coups/Seungcheol: The Classic High School AU
  • We all know that our boy Coups would slay as the classic high school heart throb. Nobody would fit the part better than him. He is the meaning of after school football practices and making cheerleaders' panties drop with a wink and a smile. He also has the heart and the smarts underneath his muscles and good looks to bring dimension to his movie character that would surprise the protagonist in the best way and make you fall in love. (I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with him, anyway?) Not only does his character fit seamlessly into this AU/genre, but he embodies the genre itself. The cheesy romance bits of the plot, the corny jokes, and the underlying message to never give up on your dreams that always acts like a big brother to the viewing teens, just like Seungcheol does. He is the classic high school movie - a perfect way to settle into the movie marathon.
  • Jeonghan: Pre-Millennial Crime Thriller
  • That sounds like a very complicated title, but our Jeonghan is a very complicated and beautiful man. At first I wanted to call this one "1920's Mob Film", but I felt that was far too narrow. Mostly because crime dramas set in the 1960's and 70's are becoming very popular and Jeonghan fits that style very well along with the 1920's. So I believe this beauty would fit perfectly into any crime or mob movie set before the turn of the millennium. Mainly during the 1920's, 30's, or the 50's and 60's. His hair was just meant to be tucked neatly under a fedora and paired with a sharp suit that would have all his enemies shaking in their boots the moment they saw him coming. Because yes, he does have that beautiful, angelic face, but I feel that's what would make him the perfect crime boss. He would be the devil hiding in the angel's armour. Nobody would expect it from him until just a few moments before their tragic death. Slowly, over time, they would learn to fear this beautiful man, understand that this was his town and this angel was playing God not because he deserved it, but because he wanted it. I just feel like he's the human embodiment of soft music box music playing in the background of a murder scene during a movie like this, and I love it.
  • Joshua/Jisoo: Zombie Apocalypse
  • Joshua would be the Glenn of a Seventeen zombie apocalypse. (And because Glenn is my all time favourite character of everything I paired little Jisoo with the genre.) He'd be the good guy who survives strictly because he is good to others, and somehow manages to maintain his purity and morality even when the world goes to shit. That would be the best thing about him. He'd believe that others are still good and he'd high uphold the belief that no one should get left behind. He would be the guy who would often almost get killed trying to save other people. He wouldn't actually have many apocalypse survival skills, but his kind nature would find him with people to save his ass over and over again, no matter what trouble they had to go through doing so. Most would think that a badass type of person would embody the zombie genre, but I really think someone like Jisoo is it. He has the heart warming arch of the story, the loveable characters (you know, the ones you really, really don't want to die but probably get treated like shit anyway), and somewhere deep inside him he probably has the really dark parts that any good zombie movie has. But really he's probably more of a zombie comedy like Zombieland or Dead Before Dawn.
  • Jun: Vampire
  • Jun being the vampire genre is about as certain as the sun rising in the morning. He's a vampire through and through. But I believe he's his own breed of vampire. Not a classic, brooding dark creature of the night like Dracula, or a modern emotional sparkly lover like Edward, but a mix of sexual, adorable, funny, sassy, and something still very human that would make his vampire easily a romantic comedy or teen movie. He'd be the type to go around telling people he's a vampire, almost trying to scare them, and no one would believe him because he just doesn't seem like the type. And he'd drink blood out of those girly reusable athletic cups with straws in public, with no one actually knowing it's blood. He would be a lot like the vampires from My Babysitter's A Vampire, but with a twist of sexuality, and something a little more brooding. Because deep down he has realized his curse - being stuck between death and life for an eternity and having to kill to stay strong - and accepted it. He would just be the perfect main character, as well as the fact that he just embodies every aspect of every kind of vampire that has been portrayed on screen before.
  • Hoshi/Soonyoung: Summer Adventure/Feel Good Flick
  • Some of my all time favourite kinds of movies are the feel good summer movies about teens going on adventures and making some kind of growing leap or major character development over that summer. Like Now and Then, Whip It, The Sandlot, or the Goonies (which yes, I know that one was set in the fall). I feel like the spirit of these kind of movies also embodies a lot of music videos, like SHINee's View, which I really love. Hoshi himself is perfect for this kind of movie because he is a feel good summer adventure in human form. He's all the happiness and bright parts, all the interesting dips and turns in the plot that really keep the movie going. He's all the road trips, all the eating snacks out of crappy gas stations, sleepovers in rickety tree houses, bon fires on the beach, the best kind of montages to a great summer song (maybe Adore U?). Overall he's just a happy, bright little puppy that makes you feel really happy and bright like a great summer vacation and a great summer movie.
  • Wonwoo: Werewolf
  • As much as Wonwoo could be the ultimate emo vampire as well, I believe that his darkness can be channeled into hairy beast of the full moon. I was torn between him and Coups for this genre, but ultimately moody with a touch of puppy cuteness won out over heartthrob. I also feel that he has the mature side of a werewolf thriller or romance, and the silly side for when the genre is targeted toward a younger audience, like the show Teen Wolf (which I love, all time fav). And I mean he's just dreamy, and doesn't everybody have some weird werewolf kinky deep down?
  • Woozi/Jihoon: Magical Fantasy Land
  • My first thought with this one is Harry Potter. Woozi would be the perfect little pastel unicorn prince, slaying enemies with spells and making them bow down just with his cuteness alone. Even if it wasn't specifically Harry Potter, maybe it would be an Alice in Wonderland or Narnia, any magical fantasy would fit his personality and looks perfectly. The adorable shell with a serious, take charge and save the world undertone would belong there and make him the leader of the group or in any position of royalty if there was one - especially if there was some kind of magical "chosen one", he'd be it. Him just generally being ethereal, wise, and talented embodies this genre and if he was in a movie like this I'd watch it over and over again.
  • DK/Seokmin: Superhero Standby
  • There's nothing better than a good, classic superhero movie. Even the ones that are being made and coming out in 2015 seem to have all the classic elements to them, and that's what makes them so easy to love. Just like DK - he's a very classic kind of guy. Classic looks, classic humor, appears very easy going and easy to be around. That's why he would fit perfectly into the world of any classic DC or Marvel superhero (personally I'd go for DC, but that's just my preference). He could slip seamlessly into the role of ordinary citizen by day, and tall, handsome, muscled city saviour by night. His hero would be charismatic, loved by all, and not only treat the citizens as victims, but as everyday people that he loved and cared for. And if we really wanted to stir things up in this genre, DK wouldn't be the hero - he could be the shy, polite damsel in distress to our heroic female protagonist. Either way, Seokmin as a person has all the qualities of this genre - the humor, the drama, the energy, and the overall childish glamour that draws us all to loving superheroes and their adventures.
  • Mingyu: Low Budget Indie/Grunge Film
  • This is a very specific style of film-making, rather than a genre, that Mingyu (especially with his gorgeous silver hair) would fit into so brilliantly. There is a bit of cross-over between this and feel good summer movies, with movies like The Kings of Summer or Moonrise Kingdom, but the more unique thing I find about this genre is that the subject matter of these movies (mostly) is a lot darker. Usually of the nature of drug use and sex and abusive relationships. And what would our happy little Mingyu have to do with movies like this? It's really more about his aesthetic. Movies like this are all about aesthetic - there's entirely blogs dedicated to grunge, and a lot of movie screen caps end up on there - and his looks fit in perfectly. The sharply chiseled jaw, dark, smoky eyes, built form, and most of all, the silvery hair that really says grunge king. That and in my opinion, in the setting of one of these movies, he could turn on a dime from happy-go-lucky into the mystery, badass, soul punk that the story calls for. With an outfit change he could slip right into the world of a movie like How I Live Now, Hick, The Basketball Diaries, or a show like Freaks and Geeks.
  • The8/Minghao: Something Supernatural
  • One of the genres I definitely wanted to use was a supernatural one. Seemingly ordinary people having extraordinary powers (like the movie Push), demons and angels living in the suburbs, basically anything that would be the everyday plot of an anime. In this world, Minghao would be perfect in the role of the protagonist's best friend, the one who undoubtedly panics when he finds out what's really lurking in his world. But the protagonist would have nowhere else to go, no one else to turn to, possibly running from the government because of your abnormality, and you knew that Minghao would have your back. So you told him, disclosed to him all the freaky shit that goes on just under his nose, and at first he'd freak out. He'd deny it, he wouldn't really be able to cope. But then his heart would be right there in it. He would protect you no matter what, until his dying breath, doing anything to make sure you were safe. He would be the air of lightness, innocence, and maybe even comic relief that this genre needs.
  • Seungkwan and Vernon: Buddy Cop Movie
  • I know it might seem a little cheap to have two of them under the same genre, but you can't tell me these two wouldn't be the perfect pair of buddy cops. Just like Starsky and Hutch or the girls from The Heat, they'd have the perfect combination of bickering and die hard friendship to make their movie interesting and heartwarming. Seungkwan would be the paper work minded, rule driven, uptight cop that would be 100% about justice and putting the bad guy away, but doing it right. He would probably have some cheesy sap story from when he was a child about why he wanted to join the force in the first place that Vernon would brush off, but it would really get him in the gut. Vernon himself would be more of a dirty cop. He'd have more of a skewed idea of justice, but he'd get his bad guy no matter what it took. He would also be one to make jokes and ignore his paper work and this would bug the hell out of Seungkwan to no end. Together they would be the perfect cops, always get their man (or woman), and have a few laughs along the way. (Personally I would kill for this movie but that's just me.)
  • Dino/Chan: A Chosen One Story
  • This is the Divergent, Maze Runner, or maybe even Hunger Games type of story. Even though stories like this can vary drastically in their setting and details of plot, they usually do have a lot of aspects in common. Dino has all the traits of a protagonist in this kind of story; being young and uncertain, but having a great, strong heart and likely being able to overcome whatever is thrown at him with a smile. Even if he himself wasn't the Chosen One, he would make a great supporting character/best friend to the protagonist. I'm not really sure how else to go about explaining this, but Chan would be such a great character in a movie or even a series like this.
Last ego standing (random ideas cause i dont know how to write)

fyeahnix  asked:

Not sure if you've ever been asked this before, but as far as werewolves go in fiction, what stories/lore/concepts would you like to see more of? There's a lot of things that people write about them that kinda pisses me off (ABO for ex. since it's goddamn inaccurate) and it's always nice to hear people's ideas for something different for a change.

I get a lot of questions asking about what I don’t like, but not very many asking what I would love to see more of, so this question is actually fairly fresh. It took me an extra day to get to answering since I needed time to mull it over, but I think werewolf fiction needs:

1. More healthy romance: If you are a fan of giving monsters kisses, which I most certainly am, you’ll know the werewolf genre is pretty much plagued by poorly-written, forced A/B/O (Alpha/Beta/Omega) “romance” of all kinds. I would love to see a story of two actual people in love, of any gender - it is 2016, and I am calling for LGTBQ werewolves that aren’t limited to pornographic narratives - whether one is a werewolf or both, whose feelings develop from mutual respect and admiration instead of the usual and deeply creepy “you need to be together because of pack politics” shit I see people pull. It’s boring. Learn how to write people with realistic emotions and do better.
2. Deeper characters: Characters in werewolf narratives tend to fall into the same categories over and over, mostly because many werewolf stories are horror or gore mysteries, and the author/director is just lining up people to kill. This treatment happens to werewolves as well, and often they’re depicted as either power-mad murderers that revel in their deeds, or repentant and pitiful creatures that would rather die than suffer their curse. As far as I’m concerned it’s gotten very, very old, and being able to see people with stronger motivations than “werewolves killed my parents” or “boy howdy do I love eating people” would be a welcome change.
3. Fresher backstories: This somewhat ties into number two up there. If a character is a werewolf, how are they a werewolf? How does lycanthropy work in this narrative? I want to see less magical hang-waving and old book-reading, I’ve put the “pure of heart” poem to memory and it’s not deep enough for me to dip my toe in. If the werewolves are the murderous and ravenous type, why? If they’re the suffering type, why? If it is some sort of curse, who did it? Why did they do it? Regale me with tails of poisoned bloodlines and damned descendants - or, if you’re the open-ended type, tease me with hints to the bigger picture and leave me to try and connect the pieces. Make me want to know as much about your narrative’s past as I do your character’s.
4. Older werewolves: I never see these and I think they would be honestly excellent. Consider the possibilities of a protective werewolf grandpa, or a sweet werewolf grandma that makes cookies. If werewolf packs in your narrative are structured and systematic, please, please, there have to be some elder looking pups in there somewhere. I’m very tired of the excessively hunky mid 20s-to-30s werewolves I always see, please show me a 60-year-old lycanthrope with a wolf-headed cane and “BEWARE OF DOG” sign on his door.
5. Werewolf families: Playing into the structured werewolves again here, and I don’t mean strictly nuclear families either. Makeshift packs of people looking out for each other, neighborhood watches, gangs, anything is better than the forced and suffocating A/B/O dynamics I keep seeing. I am tried of werewolf infighting, I am agitated by conflict that relies solely on romantic disagreement. I want to know what happens to werewolves that don’t get shot when they maul people, I want to know if there are support groups, I want people helping each other - and not just making plans to hunt down the Beast and shoot it. And god damn it, I want to see people handling their werewolf problems on top of their current problems. I don’t care if it’s taxes or college classes or a wedding, people’s lives completely dissolving due to a once-a-month madhouse occurrence is just silly. Give me subplot, give me people talking to each other, give me intimacy, give me werewolf best friends and parents and siblings, adopted or otherwise.
6. Less gore: I know I’m breaking a cardinal rule of werewolf media here, but ever since the Wolfman remake I feel the genre has been stifled by the idea that werewolves need to be bloodthirsty and imposing, and that the only way to reinforce their scariness is to make them kill, kill, kill. Show me a villain with other motives, a villain who doesn’t need his lycanthropy to be scary. Consider werewolves with better things to do than devour bystanders - consider the fact you can write a horror story without making it a bloodbath. And if you’re all up in that bloodbath genre, deeper characters will make your story better. Werewolves have had their hayday as cinema slashers, and now I want to see some challenges of those tropes. I want to see introspection and believably, and I’d love to see people assume how werewolves work based on those films. Splashing someone with gallons of blood and viscera is good fun, but there’s so much more we can do with the media we’ve been given here. There’s so many new narratives we could weave and original spins we can take on these things, we can use them literally, metaphorically, we can make them as elaborate or simple or feral or human as we want and there are so many, so so many things we can twist on their heads to create something really, really cool.

And shit, I’m gonna.

MC x Leon

Prompt: MC is pregnant and their journey to confronting the King about it.

Maria couldn’t believe it as she stared down at the plastic in her shaking hands. The red plus staring back at her as she felt her heart sink down into her stomach. How would she tell Leon this? Pregnant? Her? They haven’t even been together for a year yet and she already had his child inside her.

She wasn’t upset about being pregnant, but more so concerned about his reaction. Seeing his interactions with Vega proved how much of a father figure he wasn’t and quite frankly, Maria was afraid of rejection. Plus, how would the baby be? A god and a human, bearing a child? It was the most ridiculous idea she could think of. Even sex was taboo and now a child?

“Oh so what does that mean?”

[INTERVIEW] 160825 MINO for Arena Homme Sept 2016 Issue

The song of ‘Rae Sremmurd’ continued playing at the shoot. To try to describe them, they’re a sibling hip hop duo, top rookies who are currently taking over the American hip hop scene. Their specialty is spitting out explosive drunk like raps on top of a trap beat. If their songs are played at a club, it’s a night where no one can go home. Watching Song Minho swaying and dancing in beat with their song, we suddenly thought whether in our not so distant future we would also not want to go home because of the music.

Saying Song Minho from an idol group as a member of WINNER leaves ambiguous boundaries, through the fourth season of “Show Me the Money” he revealed his presence as a skilled rapper to the entire world. If after watching Season 4 there were any doubts about his skills, we recommend that you watch the Song Minho singing ‘Machine Gun‘ together with Zion.T and Kush on Season 5. You’ll immediately recognize how much confidence he has on the stage and how cool he raps.

While Song Minho was performing abroad without rest as a member of the group WINNER, good news was released. He would form a unit and work together with the rapper Bobby, a member of the brother group ‘iKON‘ from the same agency. With the meeting of two young guys who both have good style and rap well, the expectation can’t help but be more amplified. Late at night the Song Minho who wore various cool clothes to pose in, talked about his own future in a composed voice. He is young and smart, a young man with a burning passion.

We’ve seen a lot of units formed from the same group. However, we didn’t think that we’d see an ‘iKON’ and WINNER’ unit. How did this come about ?

Mino : Amongst iKON members, B.I and Bobby are in the rapper positions. In ‘WINNER’ the members that like hip hop a lot are Seunghoon hyung and myself. Since we were trainees, Bobby and I were similar in the music we liked, as well as our tastes. However, it wasn’t our intention to work together, but it’s because our CEO thought that a new synergy would be created in bringing us together. Since this opportunity has been given to us, we’re having a lot of fun in working together.

– Through the media, Bobby seems like a really spontaneous person while Song Minho seems like a really deliberate person. While your tastes may be similar, your personalities may be quite different. How are you two working together ?

Mino : The ‘WINNER’ members have their own music that they like and have individually different tastes but within the name of ‘WINNER’ we harmoniously create music. In the same way, even though Bobby and I have similar musical tastes, when go a bit deeper, the things we’re pursuing and the things we want to do can’t help but be different. But I don’t think we need to try to ‘match’ these things. It’s because we respect our inclinations and individual characters. Thus, in creating a song we’re first trying to sketch the larger theme, then within that we blend in our individual preferences accordingly. Since Bobby and I first and foremost have ‘respect’ towards each other, no matter what feedback is given, it can be well received.

– In the course of giving and receiving opinions while working together, were there times when feelings were hurt ?

Mino : Is it really necessary to say something in an offensive manner ? You can say things in a nice manner. Even if there’s a part that you don’t like, since you’re not directly saying ‘it sucks’, there weren’t cases of hurt feelings. Haha.ff

– Since we’ve never heard a song made by the two of you, we’re really curious about it. If you were to describe the songs ?

Mino : Both Bobby and I often go abroad to perform and have other such work. Beyond that we really confined ourselves to the workrooms. Since it’s an uncommon opportunity that has come to us, we’re giving it our all. Thus we’ve created an exorbitant number of songs, though we don’t know how many songs will be picked out for release. We’re preparing a variety of songs, from songs that can be comfortably enjoyed by people who don’t know hip hop well or aren’t as interested in it, to songs that can capture the attention of the hip hop fanbase.

– As a matter of fact we were curious about what kind of listener you had in mind while creating the songs. Whether the target is the female fans that love Bobby and Song Minho or the manic fans who ask ‘Do you know hip hop’ ?

Mino : We‘re truly creating such a variety of songs but I don’t really know which songs amongst them will be released. I’m actually curious about that aspect as well. Haha.

– Lately South Korea has fallen for hip hop. It’s an age where grandmothers and middle aged women are challenging themselves to rap. In times like this, as a rapper, a musician who creates hip hop music, what aspects do you have to pay attention to ?

Mino : I wonder if there’s ever been a time when hip hop in South Korea has received this much public love. It seems that ears towards hip hop have been opened and outlooks have broadened. Honestly I think that the power of the program ‘Show Me The Money’ made a large impact on how the market for this music has expanded to this point. But nonetheless this program a TV show, it’s entertainment. Thus, you have no choice but to compete with each other and edit the show in a provocative manner. The hip hop that people like may have ultimately started from this show as a base, which is why I wonder whether theres a tendency to accept it as entertainment rather than music. People who first come into contact with hip hop through ‘Show Me The Money’ might think that that is all there is to hip hop. I was actually on that show but I think that they should pay some more attention to the diversity of hip hop as a genre.

–  Of the songs you’ve released, what was the biggest turning point ?

Mino : Is it too obvious if I say ‘Fear’? Haha. While was on the fourth season of ‘Show Me The Money’, I changed how I thought about things and gained a lot of things. The program needs to end with a winner, but while I was preparing this song I wanted to show myself as a musician, regardless of the winner. It was the first time I had those kinds of thoughts. If for the previous performances I placed my focus on the contest, for ‘Fear’ went beyond the notion of the competition and wanted to show my honest heart, Song Minho himself. To be honest, it required a lot of courage.

– During those times when you poured your passion into becoming a rapper, were there lyrics from another rapper that touched you ?

Mino : It’s not my life’s motto, but there’s a song called ‘Moment of Truth’ by ‘sean2slow’. From it, the lyrics ‘always your passion, soon your decision’ left a big impression. Probably anyone who likes hip hop would recognize this rhyme.

– The rhyme is cool but you can feel the sincerity in the lyrics. It seems that writing your story is a rapper’s essence. When you watch the movie ‘Straight Outta Compton’ the rappers lived in a time when they had no choice but to grab the microphone to express something, to tell a story. The 24-year-old Song Minho who is living in 2016, what do you want to say?

Mino : My mindset is the most reflected when I write lyrics. When I first started with hip hop and rap, it was naturally because liked it. So there were times when I wrote those passions for music into the lyrics. When I’m crazy busy and run over with work, I do think that I want to rest. Then I wonder what it is I’m racing so hard for, and write those kinds of related lyrics.

– Have you ever thought about addressing social issues from a lighter standpoint ?

Mino : Since you need to know what’s going on in the world these days, I always look at it with interest. There are times when I want to try satire, but ultimately there’s something that worries me. I’m careful about it because it’s not truly my story, so if I write about events that have happened, the people that have really experienced those events may feel differently.

– It used to be that when you talked about Korean style hip hop, it was organized to start with rap, with a melody filled song featuring in the middle, and finishing with rap again. But now it seems that everyone’s sense is different, and that the trend has changed as well. What is the formula for hip hop success these days?

Mino : Whether its a theme or a hook, there certainly must be an element that grabs the ears. It might be slightly childish or it may be nonsensical repetition but I think this is beyond the hip hop genre and is a trend in popular music.

– If so, doesn’t it become too light without any kind of message ?

Mino : That’s right. Its not easy to tune that lightness. But this is a trend that has taken root not just in South Korea but in the hip hop scene overseas as well. I’ve noticed a lot of rappers, who beyond skill, are creating to a degree stupid, silly rhymes.

– If that’s the case, then it seems that you don’t have to decide for yourself that ’I’m someone who does this kind of music’ or ‘My style is like this’.

Mino : Since I’m an idol and a singer, I am always in front of many more people. There are domestic and foreign fans of a variety of ages, and I need to create music for all of them. That’s why l’ve opened myself to all possibilities. If I stubbornly dug into only doing the music that I wanted to do, then i wouldn’t have entered an agency such as YG. I want to draw an even greater picture. I think all of these steps right now are a part of the process in my development to become an artist who makes popular music.

–  Oh, so it seems that there’s a ‘big picture’ that Song Minho is drawing.

Mino : Since this is a time where I will reap what I sow, I’m only focusing on my work. Usually I’d enjoy my hobbies in my free time but lately I’m deliberately only working.

– Is that because you want recognition from more people ?

Mino : There’s an aspect of that, of course. Honestly what has been shown through the media in my performances or my appearances is a really small part of me. I want to show even more, to receive more recognition. As YG is a big agency, there are a lot of artists and there is a sequence. That’s why when an opportunity like this is presented, I want to show as much of my potential as I can.

Preference- Your Phobia and How He Helps You (5/12)

Shawn: Claustrophobia (fear of tight spaces)- You go on tour with Shawn, and of course you stay at hotels. He always tries booking a hotel room closest to the lobby so you can use the stair instead of the elevator, but sometimes he can’t, so when you go in the elevator, you’re really hesitant at first. Shawn makes you look him in the eye and have a conversation with him. It makes you feel better, and distracts you from the fact that you are in a small space. When you’re on your room floor, he’d kiss your head.

Cameron: Gerascophobia (The fear of growing up)- At one point your fear was so bad that it stopped you from doing anything. You thought that if you shut everyone out that aging would be less painful cause you got nothing to lose, but Cam helped you. He’d always sleep over and always knew when you started thinking about it. He’d immediately hug you, and take you out. He’d take you to a funny move or to an amusement park because thats the places you were most bubbly, and every bad thought never existed.

Jack J: Agoraphobia (The fear of situations which escape is difficult)- Being a famous persons’ girlfriend is hard, especially with this kind of phobia. You’ve experienced getting mobbed twice and when fans finally catch up they surround a circle around you and Jack. Making it hard to move, let alone get away. Knowing your phobia, Jack is very careful. He makes both of y’all wear disguises even though you think they’re silly. If you’re really stubborn and don’t want to wear a disguise he’ll book the whole pace just for you and him. You told him many times he didn’t need to do that, but he insists because he didn’t want you uneasy/scared. Especially if you’re with him.

Jack G: Astraphobia (The fear of thunder/lightning)- You’ve always hated storms. They were rare where you live but they still happened once in a while. Whenever theres a storms with thunder and lightning, Jack makes sure to sleepover. The power went out because of the storm, so you closed your eyes harshly and cover your ears. A tear falls, and Jack quickly wipes it away. He moves your hands away from your ears and gets closer to you. He put his hand around your waist and he kisses your forehead. He sings in your ear. Your eyes relax and you slowly fall asleep to the sound of Jacks voice.

Matt: Aerophobia (The fear of flying)- Matt takes you on tour a lot, which involves a lot of flying. Matt knows that you’re afraid of going on the airplane, and tries making it as smoothly as possible for you. He’ll buy middle row seats, because he knows when you look out of the window that you could have a panic attack. The hardest part is take off, but he’ll buy wifi on the plane for you, so you can go on your social medias, and he’d buy the tv set up so you can watch and play games. He talks to you a lot so that you’re distracted. He does everything to make you feel relaxed, and you love him so much for that.

I understand your opinion and I respect it but I don't understand how if Larry was real why the boys wouldn't have done something about it I mean Louis is strong headed and confident in who he is there's no way he would keep a secret for 4 years about being gay with his best friend after so much time they would grow tired of hiding and if Eleanor was fake then why would she give up so much of her life to be criticised and hated on by the 1d fans? y do people believe in Larry? #srryimconfused

hiiiii!  i was gonna save this for tomorrow, but i figure i’ve got enough posts left and sweet emilylovessonedirection was asking me to make more posts about larry love anyway to help calm her down (and that was before everything today, so babe i hope you’re doing alright!) so why not.  i’m going to answer this under the assumption that harry and louis really are in a dedicated relationship because going hypothetical just increases the complexity by like 70 million.

okay.  first let’s address eleanor.  if we are assuming harry and louis are and have been together then eleanor was a beard for almost 4 years.  yes, there were definitely sacrifices she had to make during that time.  we saw her go from this cute girl with a fun personality who liked to party with her friends to someone who almost couldn’t go out because she was in a “serious relationship” with louis.  we saw louis do this as well, he couldn’t go out publicly clubbing like the other boys because he had “settled down”.  it was sad, but she wasn’t doing it out of the goodness of her heart.  it was a job.  she was getting paid, and well i can imagine, for her efforts as well as getting the hook up to be able to do what she wanted when she was done.  i’m not saying it was easy, i can imagine it wasn’t with all the hate i’m sure was thrown at her, but she wasn’t coming out empty handed and in the end she had signed the contract just like louis had.

now, for louis.  you know i’m a louis girl, right?  so i love the guy a LOT.  and he is brave and confident.  however, he was also young when they were trying to break into the us and the closet became harsh.  he was really young when he signed the contract to begin with that basically gave his life over to the powers that be.  he is also a super protective guy.  look how he attacks those who come after his friends, family, and the fans.  he doesn’t care how he looks as long as he makes sure those attackers know what he thinks of them and makes them feel the lowest of low as well as sometimes destroying careers. so if management went to him and said, “you’ll never make it if you’re openly gay. the u.s. will never accept you two as out, gay boyfriends within this band and therefore all of you will suffer because if you can’t break the u.s. then you will never make it big,” do you really think he’d say, sorry boys!  i love harry and screw making money so you can help support your families!  they’d been together for a year and a half at that point as a band and were calling each other their best friends, had been through the x factor and the subsequent tour as well as an album release.  everything was still building.  do you think he would give up all of that not only for himself but the other four in the band as well?  i personally believe he probably would have felt selfish to do that and would have been willing to do anything to make it work at that point.

what he couldn’t have anticipated is how strong and harsh the closet would be. how famous they really would become.  how long they would have to stay in the closet.  the closet started slowly and grew worse as time went on.  it got to the point where simply changing his body language wasn’t enough.  he had to ignore his “best friend” and completely change his being.  it started to filter into all aspects of his life.  it wasn’t just go on a few “dates” with eleanor, but have her come to your family events where we can conveniently get hq photos of her with your sisters.  don’t tell your sisters you’re actually gay and with harry, they’re too young to understand and might blab.  make them actually believe eleanor is your girlfriend.  oh, and watch your boyfriend be painted as a man whore who sleeps with more women each year than there are days, breaks up marriages, and goes after cougars all at the age of 17/18.  not to mention ensuring he gets some nice high profile “girlfirends” as well.

yeah, this would seem pretty extreme to me as well and it did at first.  but then i saw this.

and i thought hmm.  that’s oddly possessive of harry to touch and pat the exact place on louis’ leg that the interviewer did.  how strange.  and then later in the interview they did this.

okay, silly boys.  pretending to kiss.  they’re crazy.

but they did it more than once?  very strange, especially for boys at 16/18 or 18/20 which are the ages i think they were here.  usually at that point they’re very “no homo” and assertive about being straight, at least that’s been my experience.  so already i was side eyeing this a bit.  still wasn’t sure.

another kiss.  they really like each other, don’t they?  best friends, you say?

i know that i did randomly bite my good friends on their shoulders, but i never followed it up with mutual staring at each other’s lips.

that’s some intense looks there, boys.

this intrigued me as well.  i couldn’t find a gif of the full thing that also included niall and liam, but niall just watches louis lean down and all out lick harry’s nose.  why?  why would he do that in the first place and why would niall find it so normal his facial expression never changes?  why is liam so intent on his crisps that he doesn’t even notice that one of his band mates is leaning over to lick another’s face?  maybe because it happens on a regular basis.  maybe.

but then i saw this.

and that was it.  what straight boy so subtly reaches out to gently touch his no homo totally bro dude pal on the arm like that?  and what straight dude not only allows him to but also moves his arm so they can touch more easily?  and what friend of theirs moves to cover up this totally not gay in any way action from the camera while trying to warn the two of them they could be seen?  nah.  they were together.

i’m not even going to get into the non denial denials louis has given countless times, the gay innuendo that liam threw out mercilessly for awhile so louis could continue on in the joke with him, the times when they gave each other semi’s, etc.  there’s so much evidence, but what it comes down to is you.  do you believe?  apparently not.  and that’s fine!  not everyone has to.  but i do. and this is what brought me here.  what’s kept me is an entirely different post.

What I know of the signs based on people and characters I know
  • Aries: Their name probably starts with an A. Loves friendship a lot, even if they accidentally hurt their friends. Stronger than they seem. Kind of superstitious. Free-spirited and wants to somewhat rebel against their childhood. Likes taking amazing selfies. Doesn't care what other people think about them. Sometimes people try to take advantage of them because they seem soft, but they learn not to put up with it. Likes to go to new places.
  • Taurus: Gets along very well with other Tauruses. Really, really, REALLY loves music. Swears a lot, especially when they're angry. Likes fall weather and being cozy. Takes love very seriously. Likes learning about very old cultures and mythology. Soft-spoken and relaxed.
  • Gemini: Super quirky but in the best way possible. Love to learn new things. They like Harry Potter, superheroes, and a lot of other fantasy and sci-fi things. Tends to take charge even though they aren't really the leader type. Gives good advice. Cares more about their friends then themselves. Does things without much hesitation or regret, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You've probably never seen them cry. Has gone through some pretty tough stuff but doesn't let it destroy them.
  • Cancer: Emotional but hides it well. A little clingy with good intentions, but will be distant once in a while. The older sibling. Indecisive. Likes to wear makeup, but keeps it pretty simple. Smart. Likes the color pink and cute patterns. Loves Disney movies. Likes to teach.
  • Leo: Likes feeling powerful. They're thought to have a big ego but they're often very insecure under the surface. They trust people enough to tell those insecurities, but sometimes distances themselves from their friends. Looks to their past a lot but separates themselves from it. Hates being ignored. Holds grudges. Has a warm feeling about them. Cares about their appearance.
  • Virgo: Virgos are basically all or nothing, half of the Virgos I know are nothing like stereotypical ones. Some follow all the rules, others don't care about breaking a few here and there. Either very "A-type" or very not. Family is important to them, but can hold grudges with family members and change the relationship between them. Kind of goes with the flow. Good-hearted. They may not see it, but they look or act a LOT like their parent(s). Likes visually pleasing simplicity.
  • Libra: Generous and outgoing, always wants to make sure that the people around them are happy and understand. Can be very political. Professional in the appropriate situations. Has the best smile. The most interesting at a party. Likes to drink.
  • Scorpio: Super polite. Pretty down to earth but do NOT, I repeat do NOT make them angry. Not afraid to be aggressive. Very, very romantic. Serious but silly. Proud. Probably has dark hair. If they care about someone very much, they try SO hard not to hurt them, physically and emotionally. Very funny. Can be mysterious. Their kindness should not be mistaken for flirting. Willing to listen. Disciplined and likes order.
  • Sagittarius: Really cool hair. Loves to entertain people and teaching them new things. Was probably short as a child but then shot up and now taller than most of their friends. Proud of being a Sagittarius but a lot of people forget this person's birthday. Accepting of people different from themselves. Usually stand out the most in their group of friends. Keeps their love life kind of separate from their friendships.
  • Capricorn: Has a strange way of handling relationships. There's something insecure about them but you can never really tell what it is. Kind of mysterious. Beautiful eyes. Knows what they want. Always doing something, whether that be playing video games or fidgeting with something. Sometimes seems emotionless or unsympathetic, but secretly cares.
  • Aquarius: Likes to succeed and loves the environment. Probably has a lot of siblings. Very good friends, likable, and keeps secrets. Good in professional settings but also tries to have a little fun with it. Likes fairy tales and reading. Religious, or at least spiritual. Not afraid to be touchy and say "I love you" to their friends. Usually has only one best friend at a time.
  • Pisces: Enjoys simple things. Often seen as a kind of "sidekick" but is actually a pretty independent person. Surprisingly dirty minds. Strangers think they are quiet. May seem a little distant, but deeply cares about their friends. Gets excited for their friends' accomplishments and loves to help them when they can. Likes earthy colors, including green. Wants to travel to new places.
Why the Genocide Run of Undertale is so important. (Spoilers ahead obviously)

Yes. Its absolutely horrible. It spins the worst story imaginable and can only be attained at the cost of everyone’s happiness. Yes it corrupts your save file to the point that going back and getting the good ending is invalidated.

No one is above consequences.

Peeling away from the narrative of the story and looking past the idea that all RPGs have you grind monsters in a similar brutal manner, this route speaks more to the hearts of gamers in the deepest sense. We’ve all been guilty of trying to get every line of dialogue no matter the outcome, to get the 100% completion bonus. It goes without saying that it comes from our deepest determination to get those kinds of results. Chara said it themselves at the end of the genocide run.

Chara is the embodiment of those things. This is why they are able to take over your user controlled avatar. Its YOUR destructive nature that allowed chara to grow. You know what I think? I think Chara has been active for a long time and this is just the first you’re hearing of them. I think every time you played an RPG and ground your way up the ladder or any game for that matter, you fed that destructive intention. You sucked the life out of the world. That by trying to be the very best as soon as possible, you destroyed the heart warming experience you could have had by playing the game the right way. To the point that there is no reason to go back and play it again.

Developers constantly have to make fail-safes for these kinds of players. The ones that enter a dungeon and then just sit at the entrance constantly grinding to one shot the boss at the end. Its ruins the experience, but the chara in each player doesn’t see that. They just see points, score, their destructive determination creates a void in the experience of the game. And for what? To post to your friends on facebook how easy it was for you? To get that platinum trophy that equates little more then to a pat on the head? I think its good that you can’t get the good ending after completing the genocide ending first. Its to scare players. Haunt them to their core. To remind them that videogames…these outlets, are people expressions, dreams, creativity, and by simply grinding your way through it, you’re missing the whole point. For someone to open their heart enough to let you see their game and to just trample all over it. A person like that doesn’t deserve the real ending.

In other words, when you sell your soul at the end of the genocide run, you’re not letting chara take over frisk. YOU the player are accepting that chara is a part of you. That you, by nature, harbor that destructive determination And then when you do the pacifist run to let Chara free…They are just heading to another game…

And that you don’t care about it. But you should.

Kickstarter can be a real great thing. We’re getting Ukulele, Mighty No 9, that new Castlevania game and of course Undertale. This game never would have made it to us without backers help, but why? This game is such a masterpiece right? If a triple a company had gotten their hands on it think of how much crazier it could have been!?

That’s the problem though.

We’re not getting a mainstream mega man again because developers don’t believe that genre sells anymore. We’re not getting a mainstream castlevania because marketing believes the genre is dead. Games have been trampled on, disregarded and flat out abused. This is why the video game medium isn’t being taken as seriously! Gamers need to shift away from the idea that games are just obstacles to be beaten, but experiences to be had. We all complain that new games don’t feel like old games anymore. That the wonder has been sucked out of them. That’s not the developers fault. (In many cases) Its YOURS. If you can’t put yourself in a place where you can see the wonder around you from a place far more spectacular than reality, then you’re looking at games the wrong way. Of course I don’t mean this about every game, I’m not going to ask you to role-play the quarterback in Madden 20XX but I mean…you bought the game for a reason right? Is your $60 really so invaluable that you’d throw it away by walking back and forth in front of an entrance for 4 hours just to make things easier? Do you see movies having the same problem?

My mantra in life has always been Adversity creates a story worth hearing. The challenge in games creates tones, atmosphere, it pulls you in and before long, you find that you are playing the game the way it was meant to be played, the way the developer wanted you to experience it. When the boss screams “NOOOO I CAN’T BE DEFEATED THIS IS IMPOSSIBLEEEEEEEE” there is supposed to be a sense of satisfaction that becomes little more than a joke if you just one hit everything in your wake.

Playing through the genocide route made me feel hollow. Alt tabbing until a monster encounter happened and then mashing the z key until they were dead. The music was muffled and I barely remember it (wasn’t it just a slowed down version of the normal song?) I didn’t read what the monsters were saying or the quirky little message box at the bottom. Nothing mattered but EXP and LV. If you’re tired of the same games happening over and over then you need to adjust your way of thinking and adapt.

Of course some of us grow up, the splendor of video games are lost and seem completely ridiculous. I get that, Tales of Zestria looks completely silly to me, but I see a lot of people pre-ordering it on steam to get the unlock bonuses so there must be SOMETHING to it. All I really aim to say here is that if you fall into this category, don’t drag things down for everyone else. In your DETERMINATION to create the wonder you had as a child, don’t berate games for not having the same wonder as Mario did when you first played it. This endless cycle of catering to nostalgia is what is killing the industry. Its much easier for developers to pump games of dead timeliness then ones that are live. Games that Chara can easily devour in their blind and endless quest for power. Games are about experiencing something larger than life. To gain perspective that would otherwise be unavailable to someone watching a movie. Its SUCH a powerful medium if used properly!!

I hope a lot of people play this game and get the pacifist ending. I hope a lot of people talk to asriel at the very end and take the advice he gives home with them. I truly think that a lot of what the pacifist ending had to offer could help a lot of people without making them feel horrible, or ashamed of themselves.

I’m living proof of my own words in any case. I can’t remember the last time a game has inspired me enough to write an essay about how great and important it is. To thoroughly analyze each component and apply it to real life. There may be games solely made to cater to a “chara” playstyle and others that cater to more of what I’m talking about but its up to YOU to determine that. YOU need to open you’re mind as you’re playing each game and recognize when you are playing a game, or when your trampling all over one. Kids who play games for sheer completionism…without even taking the tiniest bit of perspective or intuition…

Well. You know the jist.

((Theres a lot more I could say about both endings, but I think I’ll do that in a part 2 because its less about video games and more about the mind and emotion behind them))

Next time look up the definition of ''influential'' and ''power couple'' before spewing your unwanted opinion. Drake and Rihanna are a power couple and theres nothing you can do about it, chrianna could never compare because Chris career is basically non existent hell even being with the biggest popstar in the world couldn't help it & no one except for pathetic middle aged women respect him, you're just gonna have to deal

and here i thought folks were avoiding my inbox…… i was sitting here all lonely with no one to talk to and then you came along…… before we get into this discussion let me say welcome, thanks for coming, and when you leave make sure you take all your butt hurt feelings with you…..  and now that that is over….

sweetie you jumping in the wrong inbox rambling on about power couples because i wasn’t in that conversation but since you invited me in…. to be a power couple they must first be a couple….. i give less than two figs what aubrih fans claim…. hell a majority of you all are jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon and you don’t know what you claim or why you even claim it…. bandwagon fans don’t deserve the right to comment or push shit around because most of what you are pushing around is wrong anyway but i digress….

but this whole notion of a couple is silly at best and you know it…. and even if by chance they are a couple so what…. when only one has power in this said couple it’s still a fail…. and we both know who has the power between the two….. one is talked and discussed on every media blog and outlet known to man and the other is only really talked about when linked to her or her ex-man but again i digress….

chris’ career is non existent? checking the billboard charts and lseeing that he occupies one of the top 25 spaces on the The Hot 100, Radio Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay, R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, Hot R&B Songs, Rhythmic Songs, Streaming Songs, Digital Songs i’m going say you were just talking out of you ass but that’s ok…. that happens when you try to prove a point that ain’t there…. while we are talking about the charts and being non existent where drake at? didn’t see his name nor songs but then again if he was lower than cb i didn’t keep looking cause i really ain’t care…. but thinking chris was with rih to help his career shows the folly in your thinking… he wasn’t dating rihanna and the fringe benefits that come from her…. he was dating robyn and until you can get into that notion you shouldn’t speak on it….

who told you i was middle aged? first someone came talking about my sex life and relationships and now you hopping in here trying to talk about a sista’s age…. i know i don’t know you outside of tumblr because i don’t hang around with the foolish so until you know for sure what you are talking about when you are talking about me again you should stop…. but chew on this nugget…. even if i were middle aged most of these pathetic middle aged women you spoke on have coins that they readily spend and don’t have to rely on disappearing links to download a song or two so get into that….. so after typing all of that who exactly has to deal cause i know it ain’t me…
