I was trying to come up with themes to have my own version of a Sharkbait focused challenge (for whenever the love is too much but the inspiration / time is severely lacking ;-;), and I figured I might as well share in case anyone wants to give it a shot, too :‘D
Since this isn’t an event, there are no rules and you can go for it whenever and take as long as you need/want completing the themes! See it more as an excuse a chance to keep showering the OTP with love and remember everything the canon gave us :D (And maybe even bring light to scenes that tend to go under the radar, while we’re at it haha)
My tentative theme list is below. If you don’t like a theme, feel free to swap it with one of your choice or to give it a personal spin. This is more of an individual challenge, so everything’s valid!!
Day 1 - Favorite Season 1 Scene(s)
Day 2 - Favorite Season 2 Scene(s)
Day 3 - Favorite Haru → Rin Quote(s)
Day 4 - Favorite Rin
Day 5 - Favorite Quote(s)
Concerning them (be it within the show or by the staff)
Day 6 - A scene(s) that broke your heart
Day 7 - A scene(s) that made your heart flutter
Day 8 - Moment that made you go: ‘yep this is it. I’m going down with this ship’?
Day 9 - Favorite non-animated moment (from the drama cds, interview books, etc)
Day 10 - Favorite Official Art
Day 11 - Go Free Style! (pick your own theme)
Day 12 (Not for the faint of heart): What is your favorite thing about this ship?
(And of course, you can fill the themes any way you want; be it through caps, fanart, meta, fics, edits, gifs
— anything! Just have fun :D)
(p.s.: /cough/ if there is anyone interested in giving it a shot, maybe we could tag our posts ‘sharkbait challenge’ to enjoy each other’s picks?)
EDIT; just to clarify, there’s no hurry and zero pressure! you can start it whenever you have the time (be it tomorrow, in a month or in six) and roll with it according to your own availability :D
“Can I ask you a question?” His eyes swept over to her. “It’s not about hacking security systems, is it?” She blinked. “Of course not.” “Then fine.” She smoothed her skirt around her knees. “This Scarlet … you’re in love with her, aren’t you?” He froze, becoming stone still. As the hover climbed the hill to the palace, his shoulders sank, and he returned his gaze to the window. “She’s my alpha,” he murmured, with a haunting sadness in his voice. Alpha. Cress leaned forward, propping her elbows on her knees. “Like the star?” “What star?” She stiffened, instantly embarrassed, and scooted back from him again. “Oh. Um. In a constellation, the brightest star is called the alpha. I thought maybe you meant that she’s … like … your brightest star.” Looking away, she knotted her hands in her lap, aware that she was blushing furiously now and this beast of a man was about to realize what an over-romantic sap she was. But instead of sneering or laughing, Wolf sighed. “Yes,” he said, his gaze climbing up to the full moon that had emerged over the city. “Exactly like that.”
