there wasn't anything in that tag

Happy Birthday to my brightest Sun!!!!  (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧  I hope he keeps on making me happy for the next year as well~

She deserved better. And I would’ve done anything to give it to her.

I got into Rose on sunday night because I got really bored and I haven’t gotten to do her makeup in awhile.

The funny thing about brothers is that, at the end of the day and despite everything and anything, they’re still going to be there for you, and they still love you.

guess who forgot to hide the sketch layer before saving as jpeg and editing

2 days until Luhan’s birthday and Lay finally mentions him. as a fan who appreciates and adores Layhan’s friendship, this means so much to me ㅠㅠ I’ve been waiting 5 months for one of them to confirm that they still keep in touch. I didn’t doubt it for a second but I just missed their friendship and needed to know. I’m just happy and emotional and hopefully one day we’ll be able to see them together again.
brothers forever ♡

Charlotte McDougall, Co-captain of the Mathletes and doesn’t waste her love on boys. Throw any equation her way and she can solve it in almost 0.01 seconds with accuracy. Maybe that’s an exaggeration, but there is no doubt this girl is going places as she grows up, so don’t be surprised when you see her in your science text book some day with a winning smile.

Hey! I don't know if you can answer this, but do you know why the fandom hates Mon-El? I heard it's something to do with an abusive relationship? Not trying to disagree or anything (I don't like the character in general) I'm just trying to get all caught up & stay informed!! Thanks and I love your blog!!

No problemo, the thing with Mon-El is a lot of people have very different reasons for disliking him. The abusive relationship thing I don’t really 100% agree with but it’s basically to do with the way he treats Kara, making her feel like his shortcomings are her fault (in short - there are better and longer explanations floating around that make more sense).

My personal reason for disliking him is that he’s lazy and cliched writing. At the start of this season they wrote off James and Kara’s relationship in one of the most brisk, unexplained U-turns ever seen, which was a little jarring. This would have been fine had the showrunners been returning to the essence of the show: Kara and her powers, not her relationship issues and powers of seduction. By introducing Mon-El as a love interest, they took like three steps back in this sense. Now every main male character, other than J’onn, has had a crush on Kara (and kissed her). Crazy, huh? Also annoyingly common and lazy from a writing standpoint.

Personally I would have loved it had the showrunners gone in the direction of making Mon-El a brotherly character. In fact, every piece of evidence beyond the fact that he and Kara can be romantic interests point to the opposite: that they should be familial. Kara’s entire mission on Earth was to protect an innocent and ignorant Kal-El, but (as the intro reminds us every week) she couldn’t do this because he was all grown up by the time she arrived. Mon-El was a missed opportunity for her to fulfill the familial protection reason for her being on Earth. Instead, she tries to protect him but because this romance arc is forced on us it feels less like a fulfillment of duty and more like an excuse to spend time with the New Hot White Boy.

As I said, everyone has their reasons for disliking him, and most of the time it relates to the individual. As a writer myself, I believe what they’ve done with him is shoddy and ignores the potential of the character massively, while also undermining Kara’s own potential.

282. Lily didn't get along with Petunia as Petunia was jealous of Lily's magical gift. And Regulus, since the day Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor, was held up as the only hope for the Black family and as such wasn't allowed to talk to his treacherous brother. But even if Sirius Black and Lily Evans didn't get along with their siblings, they found a sibling in each other.

lol I finally get to use this phrase

Why do you think Louis was sad in that one interview you just reblogged? I wasn't in the fandom back then so I don't know anything...

It was Haylor hell, he was sad during the whole month basically. It was really painful to watch
