Netflix introduces a new kind of superhero in the trailer for iBoy. Based
on the novel of the same name by Kevin Brooks, the Netflix original film
will debut on the streaming service on January 27.
Directed by Adam Randall (Level Up), the
British sci-fi/action movie stars
Bill Milner (X-Men: First Class), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Miranda Richardson (Sleepy Hollow), and Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful).
Tom is an average teenager whose world is turned on its head when a
violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered
smartphone embedded in his brain. He wakes from a coma to discover that
returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a
strange set of superpowers. With these new powers he sets out to seek
revenge on the gang, who also assaulted his best friend Lucy.
To me this scene will happen in the end of the game, even though Luna will be there instead of Stella.
Tabata choose Luna as a new heroine because we already know that the female main character of this game should have been Noctis’ antagonist since the beginning of the game (and the first trailer, indeed).
The plot twist was already gone before the gamer could be hit by the revelation.
So, my theory is that the change between Luna and Stella was made just for hide the fact that the Prince will fight the girl who loves. I imagine that near the end of the game, the guys will come back to Insomnia to take back the throne, but right before enter the Citadel, Noctis finds out the truth: Luna is there, brokenhearted, to fight him and kill him, because (for plot twists) is the only way to stop the Pleague of the Stars.
“We literally consulted with the producers on Game of Thrones to learn security protocols,” executive producer Shawn Levy toldEntertainment Weekly.
“We had no security protocols last season and we have extensive security protocols this season. I can’t speak about what they are because then people could crack them. We protect every story point, every page of every script.”
Furthermore, other Stranger Things team members discussed how they had to change their habits to prevent info thievery.
“I just knew I used to throw my [daily shooting notes] away and now they have to be burnt,” said co-creator Ryan Duffer.
Additionally, even cast member Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, had to get involved.
“Now we have a code name [for the show],” she said. “And now I have a code name! It’s this weird thing. On the call sheets our names are across it and if we lose it, we’re dead.”
The practice of assigning codes is something Game of Thrones did, too.
When you were an infant, the Dornish trailer landed on Dragonstone. His goods were junk except for one wooden doll. He’d even sewn a dress on it in the colors of our House. No doubt he’d heard of your birth and assumed new fathers were easy targets. I still remember how you smiled when I put that doll in your cradle. How you pressed it to your cheek. By the time we burnt the doll, it was too late. I was told you would die. Or worse, the grayscale would go slow. Let you grow just enough to know the world before taking it away from you. Everyone advised me to send you to the ruins of Valyria to live out your short life with the Stone men, before the sickness spread to the castle. I told them all to go to hell. I called in every maester on this side of the world. Every healer, every apothecary. They stopped the disease and saved your life. Because you did not belong across the world with the bloody Stone men. You are the Princess Shireen of House Baratheon. And you are my daughter.
Aquaman star Jason Momoa goes shirtless in new Bad Batch trailer starring Suki Waterhouse
Much before his Aquaman premiere, Jason Momoa is coming to the big screen as the Miami Man for his upcoming film The Bad Batch. The actor flaunts his body in the recently released trailer of the film, which is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world.
The film revolves around the romance between Momoa’s Miami Man and Arlen (Suki Waterhouse). Both are stuck in a cruel world swarmed by cannibals, cult members and other unruly people.
The 37-year-old Game of Throne actor remains shirtless in the entire trailer as he rocks waist-high trousers and bare chest tattooed with ‘Miami Man’. His has a leather machete pouch crossing his left shoulder. In the gritty film, his character along with Arlen struggle for their survival in the wastelands of Texas away from the civilized society.
The film also stars Keanu Reeves as The Dream, a cult leader, who poses threat to the film’s protagonists. The action hero, popular for his roles in the highly successful film franchises including Matrix and John Wick, will play a character that promises to explore the Reeves’ acting skills.
Produced by Annapurna Pictures and VICE Media’s Danny Gabai and Sina Sayyah and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, the film will premiere on 23 June 2017.
The official synopsis of the film reads: The highly anticipated follow-up to Amirpour’s acclaimed directorial debut, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, The Bad Batch follows Arlen (Waterhouse) as she is unceremoniously dumped in a Texas wasteland fenced off from civilized society. While trying to orient her unforgiving environment, she is captured by a savage band of cannibals and quickly realizes she’ll have to fight her way through her new reality. As Arlen adjusts to life in 'the bad batch’ she discovers that being good or bad mostly depends on who you’re standing next to.
