“Though I see myself more in Ladybug, Chat Noir is the main reason I tune into the show. I love everything about him, and get irrationally angry when people say he’s a sidekick or that “Ladybug doesn’t need him.” It’s not true, and I hope future episodes expand upon how important he is to the story, and to Ladybug.”
I wonder if Marinette ever thinks about Chat Noir throughout the day.
Not in a romantic way or anything, but she’s looking out the window in class one day and she’s imagining what Chat Noir might be up to, or it’s raining and cold and she wonders if he’s doing alright, or she hears a stupid joke and thinks “Chat Noir would laugh at that” (bonus points if it’s Adrien telling the joke) and so on.
He’s her partner and friend. She should think about him sometimes, yeah?
kimi no na wa!au with adrien and marinette. adrien lives in tokyo and marinette in itomori. she really wants to be a tokyo boy in her next life, and then, suddenly, she starts having dreams that she’s a boy living in tokyo, named adrien. both discover that isn’t just a dream, and they need to meet each other, for real.
i will post more fanarts of this au because i just love this movie with all my heart.
Miraculous Holders gain the ability to talk to their patron animal. Ladybugs don’t have a whole lot to say, so Marinette doesn’t really use it, but cats… Adrien spends SO MUCH TIME talking to cats, and they give him advice (not always good advice) and stuff. And then one day a teeny little calico comes to Chat Noir, shaky and hungry but says she has a human kitten at home who is scared and hurting and he needs a hero. Picture Chat Noir with a veritable army of feline spies around Paris, reporting things back to him and coming to him for help. “Chat Noir, help me find a safe place for my kittens.” “Chat Noir, my human’s mate strikes her.” “Chat Noir, my human is old and sad and alone, how can I help him?” And as Adrien or Chat Noir, he does what he can, because being a hero is about more than the big things. Picture this.
