“I’m Working on Being a Better Human Being”

I’ve been doing a lot of reading lately in order to work on myself. I kind of scoffed at the idea of “working on being a better human” in the past, but that is what I’m actually doing now.

If you are starting the process of self-reflection, self improvement, or just like to read, here are some fo the things I have been reading, listening to, and watching:

Books

  • “Boundaries” by Townsend and Cloud (written from a Christian perspective, but not “preachy” if that makes sense)
  • “Get Your Sh*t Together” by Sarah Knight
  • “The 5 Love Languages: Singles Edition” by Gary Chapman

TED Talks

  • “Why Thinking You’re Ugly is Bad For You” by Meaghan Ramsey
  • “Your Body Language May Shape Who You Are” by Amy Cuddy

Podcasts

  • “Angela Watson’s Truth for Teachers”
  • “How Story Works” by Chipperish Media (not really self development, but it’s a fun podcast to listen to)

YouTube Videos

  • “Struggling to Break a Bad Habit? Science Says You Should Do This by Marie Forleo
  • “How to get Motivated When You Are Stuck in a Rut” by Marie Forleo

Was Rhonda a gymnast or something?

Yes, she was a two-time national vault champion, a 1987 world team member, and the 1988 Olympic alternate. She was actually technically the reason the US team lost bronze in 1988…the code of points forbade teams from having coaches on the podium as an athlete competes, but Faehn was on the podium after moving the springboard for Kelly Garrison in the team compulsory round, and because she wasn’t considered a “gymnast” due to her alternate status, the East German judge said she was technically up there performing coach duties, and so the judges took 0.5 from the US team, causing them to finish in 4th place behind…East Germany. And yall think gymnastics is full of drama now! There was a recent string on FB with all of the 1988 team members talking about how badly the USAG president, Mike Jacki, fucked them over, because they didn’t stand up for the team in that situation and the girls felt like they were totally just thrown to the wolves. Karolyi was reaaaaally vocal to the press, of course, but USAG didn’t really do anything to fight it.

So how did Ken have no idea that Shay was a robot despite being childhood friends?

great question! well first of all, ken and shay weren’t childhood friends. they met when ken was 15 and had just moved to seattle from japan. ken is 21 now, so they were friends for 5 years, then had that gap year where ken didn’t remember laura or shay because of laura’s memory spell on him (they reconnected when shay ran into him on a job and hired him on her shadowrunning team, though at the time neither of them remembered being friends previously). shay is in her late 20′s (or at least appears to be…).
as for how he didn’t know, well, she looks and acts exactly like a normal person and it’s implied that not even SHE knew she was a robot, though we don’t know that for sure. we know that aether didn’t know he was a robot, so we can probably assume the same for shay? in any case, ken actually has a character quality called “oblivious”, meaning in gameplay terms, he takes a negative modifier to his perception tests, and in story terms, he is a VERY OBLIVIOUS GUY lmao. she and aether are very lifelike so i’m assuming miharu made her and aether to be indistinguishable from the real thing though. it’s definitely very odd, we have so many questions, cuz this was JUST revealed to us! much of it is still shrouded in mystery but we will find out in time!! so many questions…

I'm honestly crying because I just now realized my anatomy is such shit and I don't know how to keep it cartoony but accurate at the same time… Any tips?

everyone should start w a basic grasp of anatomy before delving into stylized cartoony stuff, but its actually not nearly as hard as it looks/sounds. figure drawing from reference pictures is a lot easier than making up cartoonish styles in ur head, because the learning curve is so sharp.

just start drawing people you see- watch youtube videos that show candid crowds, pause it for a bit and give yourself like 1-5 minutes to quickly draw the pose and figure, and then let it go and move on to the next pose. make em vary in size from whole page to half page to ¼ page, knock out like 10 in one session, and after a few sessions i guarantee youll notice a difference. focus first on the angle & twist of the torso, and then on the pose of the arms & legs, and THEN on fleshing it out/lightly shading. its really easy to pick up, and once youre comfortable with it, you can try simplifying your linework a ton and exaggerating shit to get cartoon-y looks you enjoy that actually look 1000x better because the human eye/brain can make way more sense of them.

Happy birthday, Mark! You’ve just turned 25 years old, but sometimes you still remind me of a 5-year-old. I am proud of how much you’ve grown, from someone who did not know how to sing, rap, or dance when you first started, to someone who is now writing lyrics and composing music. I also like how you’ve become more talkative and confident recently. You always put GOT7 before yourself, and it is obvious how much the group means to you. Please always stay healthy and happy! #HappyMarkTuanDay

what is BPD?

Even though I have a blog about BPD, a lot of people have a lot of doubts about it (about the symptoms, terms, etc). So here is a post about BPD and, please, if you are neurotypical don’t comment “wow I have it” just because you read my post.

  • Borderline Personality Disorder is diagnosed when there is a persistent pattern of unstable interpersonal relationships, mood and self-image, as well as distinct impulsive behaviour, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts. These difficulties are indicated by five (or more) of the following:
  1. frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment.

  2. a pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterised by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation.

  3. identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self.

  4. impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g. spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating). This does not include suicidal or self-harming behaviour.

  5. recurrent suicidal behaviour, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behaviour.

  6. affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood - intense feelings that can last from a few hours to a few days.

  7. chronic feelings of emptiness.

  8. inappropriate intense anger or difficulty controlling anger.

  9. transient, stress-related paranoid ideas or severe dissociative symptoms.

What is FP?

FP means, for someone who has BPD, favorite person. It is a term that refers to the person you most idealize, usually it is someone you have romantic feelings for, but it can be a friend, fictional character, someone in your family, etc. Not everyone who has BPD has a FP, but it is something common. Having a FP is not something beautiful and shouldn’t be romantized, your mood starts depending on that person, on the way they talk to you, you have a lot of mental breakdowns when they’re gone and it’s something that puts you in risk, because you’re willing to do basically anything for that person.

What is “split”?

Splitting is the action of feeling extremely angry at someone who you usually idealize, for example, your fp (but it doesn’t have to be necessarily your fp). Someone who suffers from BPD usually has black and white thinking or feeling, loving or hating someone, doing something all the time or not at all, basically no harlf term. When someone splits, it means that they were from a extreme to another about their feelings to someone. It can happen for big and important reasons, when someone actually does a serious mistake or it can happen when someone does a “small” mistake and we react extremely, due to BPD hypersensitivity.

What is dissociation?

That’s what Wikipedia says: “In psychology, dissociation is any of a wide array of experiences from mild detachment from immediate surroundings to more severe detachment from physical and emotional experience. The major characteristic of all dissociative phenomena involves a detachment from reality, rather than a loss of reality as in psychosis.”. Dissociation is the match of despersonalization (“Depersonalization can consist of a detachment within the self regarding one’s mind or body, or being a detached observer of oneself. Subjects feel they have changed and that the world has become vague, dreamlike, less real, or lacking in significance. It can be a disturbing experience. Chronic depersonalization refers to depersonalization-derealization disorder, which is classified by the DSM-5 as a dissociative disorder.”) and derealization (“Derealization is an alteration in the perception or experience of the external world so that it seems unreal. Other symptoms include feeling as though one’s environment is lacking in spontaneity, emotional colouring, and depth. It is a dissociative symptom of many conditions.”). Basically, it is feeling like YOU are not real + the WORLD is not real. Okay, I’m not sure about what I’m going to say now, please someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that there a lot of dissociative disorders, but in BPD people usually suffer just from dissociative symptoms.

Self-Harm?

Self-harm is when you intentionally hurt yourself. Okay, but why? Some people self-harm to relief the pain, a lot of people with BPD also relate they self-harm to feel real during dissociative episodes or to feel something when the emptiness sensations are acting out. For some people, self-harm is when you hurt your body tissue, for example, cutting or scratching yourself, but, personally, in my opinion, thre are different ways or expressing self-harm before it becomes something extreme, for example, starving yourself, triggering yourself, doing something you don’t want to just because you “deserve it”, etc.

“People with BPD are always abusive.”

That’s absolutely not true. A lot of websites make articles about BPD and, because of a lack of information, they mention we are abusive and things like that. The truth is that no one is automatically abusive JUST because their mental illnesses. Abuse is something related to someone’s behavior, regardless if they’re mentally ill or not. “Okay, so why a lot of people say BPD makes someone abusive?” Maybe it’s because PDs are not a very discussed topic and people are always afraid of the unkown, so it’s better if they just judge us. Also, maybe because people with BPD are often seen as “attention seekers”, which is not something bad, in my opinion, because everyone should receive enough attention, since they’re not using bad mechanisms to get it.

About some other symptoms

Mood swings happen when someone goes to an emotion to another. For someone who has BPD, it happens a lot of times during the day. For example, if you got a friend and they have BPD they can talk about suicide and how hopeless they feel and a few hours or minutes later they can talk about future plans and how excited they are about things. It impacts our affective instability too, so sometimes we get lost thinking if we like someone or not. We can easily “get tired” of someone and then becoming totally dependent on them after some time. Our instability also impacts our sense of self, sometimes it makes us question even if we are real (going back to the dissociation aspect). That’s why is so hard for us to do things like choosing a career, because today I can feel like becoming an actress and then tomorrow I want to be a doctor. Our decisions and moods are constantly changing. Our fear of abandonment controls our lives, we can do things that we don’t even want to just to have someone by our sides. Also, some people with BPD can get too clingy or too distant to someone they love, clingy to avoid the abandonment and distant because of a “leave them before they leave me” thought. That’s why our relationships are very unstable.Compulsion and impulsivity is a form of expressing our confused feelings, like if we need something to rely on. We can drink too much, eat too much, waste too much money, etc. It can happens for a lot of reasons, for example, to fill the feelings of emptiness or to avoid a breakdown, specially when someone leaves.

Quiet and explosive borderlines

Explosive borderline is someone who is the “classical” borderline. They will act out, they may yell at people, they may get involved in fights and etc. Someone who is a quiet borderline will act in, holding their pain agaisnt themselves, for example, with the self-harm. They may not usually yell at people or get involved in fights, but, instead, they will do terrible things with themselves. There is not a “worse or better type of borderline”, they’re just different types. We all suffer a lot.

Sorry if my grammar wasn’t very correct. English is not my native language. I hope it was a helpful post for some help here on tumblr.
Stay strong, borderline community!

How to be more Self-Disciplined

1. Choose to act, or to do what you should you. Don’t wait until you feel that you are in the right mood.

2. Decide to keep on going, and to finish what you’ve started. Don’t allow yourself to give up when you’re only part way through.

3. Be honest with yourself and call yourself on the excuses. They’re often just a cover for not wanting to do something.

4. Plan ahead and break large goals down into smaller, short-term goals – and put these on a calendar, and tick them off each day.

5. Remind yourself how great you’ll feel when later you’ve achieved and reached the goals you set yourself, and have that better life.

6. Also, separate what is important and matters down the road, from what is temporary – or seems worthwhile right now.

7. Try not to be distracted by the things that eat up time - like gaming, watching movies or just hanging out with friends.

8. Hang out with other people who have self-discipline, and understand the value of working hard right now.

Dear future wife…

I been trying to figure out a way to write these words for like the past 5 years now. I think it’s because that’s when I turned 21, when things were fun for my peers but I was consciously dreaming on how to spend my life with you explicitly. I’ve been extremely patient while battling temptation from a world that tells me “fuck a wife” and “it’s cool to have a grip of girls” — yet I’ve still been roaming the ocean just to prove why waiting for you was worth my world. I can’t tell you how many nights I stayed up visualizing a life, one where I’d never leave your side. Can you imagine how many pieces of paper I balled up out of frustration because I thought I met you in someone else only to give my all, then end up back by myself.

See when you finally look into my eyes, I want you to know that I was the walking definition of persistence. No matter how many times I was told “just fuck these hoes” I resisted. Because I couldn’t imaging myself trading in a night for what’s missing. When you look at me I want you to see the queen within yourself that reflects from my pupils but penetrate your soul. A sight that magnifies your queendom, so if your love were particles and I was blind I could still see them.

You have no idea how many times in my mind you said, “I do” without me even meeting you.

This is beyond fate or a first date. My soul is so entangled in your spirit that even from heaven I can feel it. I need you to know that the last love I believed to be you stabbed me so intensely that life wasn’t worth living. However, your hand touched my faced and it was in that feeling that I found hope. The journey for you became my solace to exist, my reason to persist, my will to resist, my heart to risk.

Never forget I risked it all for you before you knew I risked it.

So no matter where you are in the universe, I’ll find you. No matter how long it takes, I’ll search for you. The reason why is because I can feel you too. You’re searching for me and you’re dealing with heartbreak, fake love, regrets, and setbacks. Once I find you, I’ll set back your setbacks. I’ll make you fall in love so deeply you’ll forget those regrets. Any fake love you’ve experienced will become realer than any HD romantic film you’ve experienced.

On that day you take my hand in marriage I’ll smile and say, “We’re married.” I’ll remind you that your love was always mine to carry. That the men you’ve experienced in your past was exactly what the universe needed you to experience to be the women you are now. I’ll kiss your forehead a million times, to make a million rhymes; you’ll lay next to me and I’ll write you a million lines on this same sheet of paper.

The love I give you as your Prince Charming will become realer than your reality. You’ll never need love as a supplement. Your smile will shine the darkest of days. Your aura will shine the darkest of ways. The love we create when we have children will validate every word I say. I’ll love you like the seeds you grow for 9 months, as if it were a 100 years and we were old and gray. I still hold your hand each and every day.

I don’t know when I’ll find you but I know when I do every single minute will be worth the lifetime you deserved to have me there while I desperately searched this desert.
Believe me when I say on that day we’ll be in love forever…

My future wife.

Rose’s whatnow

Honestly one of my favourite underrated Bismuth moments. Never fails to make me chuckle, along with the “You think it’s hot now?”/”Yeah. Like an oven.” exchange. Becomes really sad once you think about it for more than 5 seconds, just like all the Haha Aliens Don’t Get Human Reproduction bits from Three Gems and a Baby. They do try, though, bless them.

Look at this. So precious.

Jeon Jeongguk, on top of being the nastiest fuckboy who just happens to have some good dick, is a childish brat.

ALSO THRONE OF GLASS AND THEIR CAKES HERE!!

I’m starting my third year in 2 days and I was thinking about everything I’ve learned in those long 2 years and thought why not share some of it with you guys. Everyone’s experience is different and mine may not cover every aspect of college life, but here are some things that I’ve learned from my uni days so far.

1. College is not like high school

You must be like ‘well duh obviously it’s not’ but listen: you get much more freedom when it comes to your studies. And with that freedom comes more responsibility. You’re on your own here, you study for you and you’ll often study alone outside of class so time management is very important. There are no teachers who will go over the material again and again, you either get it or you don’t . But don’t worry, most professors are always willing to help you out if you don’t understand something.

2. Studying is beneficial for your future but sometimes so is going out

Every once in a while it’s good to take a break and hang out with your groupmates. You will get to know each other better in a more chill and relaxed atmosphere. Also, if you ever get exchange students, hang out with them as well. Believe me, you’ll learn so many interesting things about their culture and the background they come from and it’s always good to broaden your knowledge in those areas.

3. Don’t drink with people you don’t trust

((that is of course if you’re old enough to drink:)) There are some genuinely nice people out there who will hold your hair while you’re throwing up, pay for the cab and make sure you get home safe (or walk you to your dorm room), but there are also those who will not hesitate to take advantage of you, so please be careful about who you’re drinking with (it’s always good to have a trusting friend who you know will take care of you in case you take too many shots).

4. That being said, if you see someone who’s had too much to drink and doesn’t seem to have anyone they know wherever it is that you’re drinking at, take care of them

This is pretty self explanatory, and I know you may think it’s not your duty to take care of this person (especially if it’s someone you’ve never met before) but please don’t just leave them at the party/club/whaever, you will not forgive yourself if anything happens to them.

5. Hangover is a bitch

I’m realizing now that three out of five tips so far have been about drinking but oh well. If you have never (or you think you have never) had a hangover in high school, welcome to college. Keep sipping on that water cause it’s going to be a long, long day.

6. Never take a class you’re not interested in just because your friend is taking it

This one can be tricky if you (like me) suffer from anxiety. But if there’s a class you really want to take that none of your friends are interested in, do it! The best course I’ve taken in uni so far was the one my friends didn’t even consider and it was an amazing one. Yet at the end of last year, when I was signing up for classes for the first semester of year three, I decided to take a course I didn’t like just because my uni best friend had signed up for it, and now said friend is dropping out and I will be stuck with the course I couldn’t care less about for an entire semester, so that’s a cautionary tale right there.

7. Participate in optional work

If you have any debates, film/book discussion and things of that nature, take part in them. It’s yet another chance to meet new people, and you often get extra credit for them which is never a bad thing (that’s how I aced one of my classes in year one)

8. All-nighters aren’t cool

They’re not healthy and often do more damage than good. Only pull one if you absolutely need it (e.g if it’s already past midnight, the deadline is in 9 hours and you haven’t even started writing that 15 page essay)

9. Don’t start working unless you really need the money

Combining study and a full-time or even a part-time job is extremely hard. Think about it this way: there’s sleeping, studying and working; you can only have two. You will be either working and sleeping, studying and sleeping or studying and working, none of those options are good for you and your mental and physical health. And hey, once you graduate you’ll have to get a job either way, so if your parents are still willing to support you or you have another way of supporting yourself financially, it’s best to just not rush it and focus on getting that diploma instead.

10. Dropping out isn’t the end of the world

If at some point you decide to drop out, give yourself some time to think it through; a week, a month, a semester. College is not for everyone, and there are different life situations and if you end up dropping out, know that you are NOT a failure. Several of my friends dropped out over these two years and they’re living their best lives right now. You’re going to figure it out and you’re going to be okay, I’m rooting for you lil bean.

And some additional tips:

- Have a bottle of water on you at all times. Hydration is the key, remember?

- Libraries and reading rooms are the best. They’re pretty, quiet and often have wifi. Just don’t skip classes too often there.

- Don’t compare your success with others’.

- Sometimes eating dried tea leaves during a lecture is the best way to connect with people. Please don’t ask me why I know this.

Hope you guys found this helpful and hope you all are having a great beginning of your school year!

MBTI: What Flavor of Soap are You?

INFP:  Special order soap.  It tastes like bug spray and menthol.  This soap was made for certain purposes; being eaten was not one of them.  You congratulate yourself on being such a rebel as you begin to see the lights.  8/10

ENFP:  Children’s soap.  It smells and tastes exotic, but you’re not completely sure what it’s supposed to be.  The happy koala on the bottle isn’t much of a clue.  It’s a bit astringent.  It burns as you swallow.  You’re glad your tongue is clean, though.  You hiccup, and a bubble leaves your mouth.  5/10

INFJ:  Dishwasher soap.  Stronger than its cousin, dish soap, but significantly more likely to kill you.  It leaves a soft white powder residue on the burns it creates on your tongue.  This is somehow your aesthetic.  It tastes like a chemical burn and a Tumblr moodboard.  You’re pleased.  10/10

ENFJ:  Dish soap.  It smells like what someone who has never seen a real, whole coconut before would imagine that coconut to smell like.  It’s a bit slimy.  No matter how much you heave, you can’t seem to get the residue off of your tongue.  It begins to sting. 4/10

ISFP:  Hotel soap.  Completely horrible.  No matter what you do, you can’t get the taste out of your mouth afterwards.  You look at the crumpled wrapper on your borrowed bathroom counter.  You can’t decide if it’s brown or gray.  It was complimentary, so you really have nothing to complain about, you remind yourself.  There are bubbles in the cracks between your teeth. You hope this will trick your dentist into thinking you actually flossed tomorrow.  It does.  You feel triumphant as he scrapes the oily residue off of your incisors, perplexed.  You’ll never tell.  9/10

ESFP:  Handmade soap.  You smushed some stuff around in a bucket, and this is the resultant creation.  It tastes like oil-flavored toothpaste.  The ingredients you bought off of eBay probably weren’t poisonous.  You’re not sure how to get the stuff out of this bucket and into a usable container.  It will have to do – you decide this is probably more rustic anyway.  As one hand shoves another chunk into your mouth, the other increases the price of your soap tenfold on your Etsy store.  You smile in the dark, the light from your computer giving your soapy teeth a pallid glow.  Multicolored spots begin to dance in your eyes.  You take another bite. 7/10

ISFJ:  Microbead soap.  Tastes like a ruined environment and clogged waterways.  You’re not sure if fish are capable of feeling sad.  The beads scrape and scratch at your gums as you swish before you swallow.  You feel them peel away every unnecessary dead cell in your mouth.  You look into the empty bottle, wishing there was more.  You open another.  Your head begins to vibrate as your stomach begins to twist.  You comfort yourself with the knowledge that your blood will finally be clean. 6/10

ESFJ:  Bar soap.  The original.  The classic.  It tastes like your childhood – at least the parts when your mother caught you when you swore.  Nutty aftertaste with mild notes at the beginning, but now that you’ve finished chewing, it just tastes like soap.  You remember why you hated it.  You spit it out.  You wonder if you’ll go blind.  5/10

ISTP:  Hand soap.  Perfumey and bland.  It eases down your throat as you slurp from the opened bottle.  You wonder if it has been watered down.  You wonder whose soap this is.  You wonder how you ended up in this bathroom, in this house.  Your stomach begins to quelch as you stagger outside.  You lurch towards the next house, wondering if the soap in another bathroom will taste any different - if it will have answers.  It won’t.  3/10

ESTP:  Shampoo.  Creamy and metallic.  It goes down smoothly as you chug from the aesthetically-molded plastic bottle.  You hurry.  When it’s empty, you quietly slip from this shower, from this house.  You move through the night towards the house next door.  Maybe their selection will finally satiate you.  You will never be full.  9/10

ISTJ:  Expensive department store soap.  Salty and vaguely acrid.  It tastes like licking a grandma.  There’s a hint of alcohol – probably the perfumes.  You look around your dimly-lit bathroom as you sit on the edge of your tub and feel dead inside.  You look at the delicate lettering on the elegant packaging and feel alive.  You take another bite.  It flakes into beige icing between your teeth.  6/10

ESTJ:  Laundry soap.  It smells absolutely fantastic, but is so concentrated that you end up in the emergency room.  It tastes like deception and suds.  Tiny bubbles line your lips.  You realize you forgot to start the dryer before the ambulance came.  You can no longer tell if it’s the soap or you that’s foaming.  It’s soft.  You wonder if you’re finally clean as you begin to fade.  2/10

INTJ:  Novelty soap.  The fragrance of this bar is particularly powerful.  The smell is so strong that your brain is tricked into thinking it’s the flavor as well; this prevents you from noticing your discomfort as it slowly erodes away at your lips.  You stare at the box, trying to decide if Blue Strawberry Bonanza is a typo.  You’re not sure.  The prize inside lends extra crunch, but you’re spitting bubbles for an hour afterwards.  This is the worst $27 you have ever spent.  7/10

ENTJ:  Straight lye. It hurts. At a pH of 13, it’s obviously very efficient – but it will wash you away as well as the grime.  It burns.  At least you didn’t waste your money on one of those useless scented soaps.  Now it hurts AND burns.  You reassure yourself with your pragmatism as you begin to die.  It tastes like blood.  0/10

INTP:  Holiday soap.  Special, fragrant, and full of glitter.  It tastes horrible when consumed, yet this is your fifth sip.  You take your sixth.  You look at the leering gingerbread man on the peeling sticker and don’t understand why he can’t taste the way he looks just this once.  You decide to give him another chance.  It doesn’t work.  He tastes the same.  2/10

ENTP:  Car wash soap.  You’ve never felt so alive, so powerful.  The industrial foam fills your mouth, your throat, your lungs.  It tastes like wax and fire.  This is what it means to be an extrovert.  The suds drip from your eyelashes just long enough for you to see the brushes heading towards you.  They’re coming.  You’re not afraid.  They said that you shouldn’t, that you couldn’t.  You raise your fists above your head and push out a gurgled scream.  You’ll show them.   1/10

i feel faded from my own life. i haven’t gone to bed yet and it’s 5:48 in the morning. i want to touch you or an open fire or whatever will hurt me. i want you to crush my throat or crush my dreams. i feel like i’m living in a loop where the end is coming, where the road to ruin is something i swallow, where i’m running out of time while i’m just sitting here. barely feeling anything. watching days tick by and tuck into autumn leaves. i feel like i’m wasting my god-given talents but what’s worse is i don’t know how not to waste them. like i could have been handled drugs sex and money and i’d still be here, doing nothing. just waiting to die or for something to kill me or for you to come home and finish the deed. is it possible to be terrified of death and at the same time a ghost girl who doesn’t care if she’s drowning. asking for a friend. no really. i want to kiss you or cut you or kill myself. and isn’t that all just the same goddamn thing.

NU’EST saved themselves by joining Produce 101: From almost disbanding to the top of the charts

OK but I don’t think people understand enough how much impact pd101 has had on NU’EST?? For fucks sake for almost 2 years all that non-japan loves had to look forward to was  “NU’EST schedule- empty” because Pledis is shit. All we had was everyone calling NU’EST flop nugus saying they should disband. All we had was mistreatment and zero promotion for their 2016 albums when Pledis finally released them from Japan.

All we had was comebacks getting cut-short because of bad sales and music shows cutting NU’EST performances bc they weren’t “famous” enough. All we had was Music shows giving them the lowest quality mics and equipment and never uploading their performances onto their Youtube channels but managed to upload the more famous groups.

All we had was 10 months of waiting after Canvas, wondering if NU’EST will ever come back again and when. All we had was Instagram updates keeping us alive. All we had was the whole kpop fandom roasting NU’EST alive when they went on pd101 calling them cheaters. All we had was seeing NU’EST members, even the ones who never cried once in 5 yrs (Baekho) break down.

All we had was the members look straight at the fucking camera on produce 101, and admit that they failed and that their disbandment was near. Let me tell you on that die I fucking wanted to die right then when I found their reality. How many fans get to hear that?? Their idol, loves of their life, the group who you would be dead without, look so defeated and say right to your fucking face it’s over for him and your ultimate group of 5 years is almost disbanding because their company screwed them over like NO OTHER. Don’t underestimate what we’ve been through.

We had to sacrifice Minhyun in order to gain new fans. He had to tear himself away from his family in order to save NU’EST. I just . .  i need new loves, pd101 stans and everyone to really understand the importance of NU’ESTs come back and all this activity.

I want you all to know I feel overwhelmed right now with all this NU’EST activity. I want you to know how I feel. I want you to know this isn’t normal what NU’EST is going through, this is what you would call a miracle. I want you to know that the member did this all on their own, and everything single activity they have now is so fucking important. I need to know the reason why NU’ESTs thankfulness to fans might seem even excessive at times. Because they know how it’s like to have almost nothing so every single fan and every success (even small) means everything to them.

Thank you to old loves who stayed and thank you to new loves who joined. Without NU’EST my life would not be worth living and I would have nothing. I need you to know I am so bloody thankful for anybody who supports these 5 talented people.

From the bottom of my heart thank you so much.

The 5th Union Leader from KHUX was revealed last week and she’s a little cutie (just like Nomura said lol)! Her name is Strelitzia and apparently she’s a stalker too xD With her being revealed I have now made all 5 Union Leaders, such a nice cast! 8D
