theodora the good

anonymous asked:

Do you know of any good fanfics to recommend starting? Fairly new ones seeing as I think I might have read every single one there is on tumblr! Do I need to have a gander on AO3???

YES! Go to Ao3 there is so much!!

Most of the stories I follow over there are by our lovely tumblr writers, and I sadly don’t have the time to read everything anymore. But I recently checked out and enjoyed:

Beauty and the Boneless (Ivar/OC in England)

Conquering the Boneless (Ivar / Empress Theodora)

and I’ve heard good things about Collide (Ivar/OC slave from the Mediterranean raid)

and I freaking love Ivar’s Game every chapter just fills me with glee

“i’m sorry YOU felt the way YOU did”

i’m really really sorry ksi, i believe your intentions was not bad in the video, but it’s probable that you internalize misogyny way before and can’t even see what is wrong with your remarks.

you’re still apologizing about how SHE feels, not how YOU make her feel. you still do not see what was wrong the way you talked. YOU made a mistake. CASPAR made a mistake by partaking and not stopping you from uploading those parts. but theo did not made a mistake, not a single one. so you shouldn’t be sorry about how she feels. you just need to be sorry about how YOU make her feel.

So I watched Oz the Great and Powerful and just about around the time Theodora the Good cried her first tears that marked her face, I spent the rest of the movie sad. Because she became something that was born from lies. She became something worse than what was ever imagined. And it was all because her innocence was stolen. Of course I knew there was no happy ending for her once her heart withered and died but to be turned into the Wicked Witch, spending the rest of her days in constant anger and heartbreak, seemed like a fate worse than death.
