then i wouldn't want them all

everyone has that one character in a show they watch where during every ep they’re usually just waiting for that specific character’s scenes to come on and enjoy everything about them from the way they talk to the way they walk and smile whenever that person comes onscreen. a scene without that character in it feels like it’s just missing something and in your eyes they’re the best thing about the show and you don’t want anything bad to happen to them ever

Well yeah, Wendy would be the least suspected one of the bunch, that’s for sure

I swear I’m never wasting so much time on stupid comics again. Out of all the asks I could’ve used, I chose this one. Someone shoot me please .+:。(ノ・ω・’ )ノ゙

bonus:

how do you expect anyone to suspect her

It was three days into their stay in Thailand when Yuuri finally woke up earlier than Viktor.

He savoured those times, they happened so rarely. Viktor was often out of bed before Yuuri had even started to stir. Like this he had unimpeded time to study the small flutters of his eyelashes, the slight furrow on his brow that disappeared when Yuuri ran a comforting hand down his side, how his arms tightened around Yuuri when he shifted to keep him in place.

He could never look enough. No matter how much, how often, it would never be enough. Gently, still careful about not waking him, he ran the tips of his fingers from the cut of his jaw, the graceful line of his neck, and over his shoulders before pausing. Viktor sighed. Accent thicker from having just woken up, he asked, “I was enjoying that. Why did you stop?”

Yuuri didn’t answer, still staring at the skin of his shoulders. “Yuuri?”

“You have freckles,” he said, hearing the quiet awe in his voice.

Viktor took his right hand where it was motionless on his shoulder and kissed it, his eyes sliding shut again. “Mm. Only if I’ve been in the sun too long.”

He was saying it so casually, as if it wasn’t one of the best things Yuuri had ever learnt. Granted, he thought that of most mundane things he learnt about Viktor, but it wasn’t as if he wanted to stop. He considered kissing them all one by one, even if there were so many it would probably take hours. Reluctantly settling for around ten instead, he mumbled “I love them,” against another few. Viktor’s chest was shaking, probably laughing at his little display, but looking so delighted when Yuuri met his eyes that he couldn’t complain.

“We have a lifetime of firsts that we’re gonna do together, so you hold on okay?”- Maggie

“Those “firsts” that you talked about… I wanna have them ALL with you. I never wanna stop having firsts with you.”- Alex

So I’m making this post to talk about the good things that BigHit does in this time of lines and screen time feud. BigHit entertainment is one of the best and least restrictive companies I have come to know. Since BTS are their only artists, the amount of freedom and close knit management they get is amazing.

There is no dungeon that the boys can disappear into, and there is constantly new content for the fans. Sure there are some things that happen that we nor the boys like, but then they are dealt with. Yoongi complained about his scalp, and BigHit relented, allowing him to stay dark for the past couple of comebacks.

They also allow the boys to use expensive equipment write and produce their own music to release as non monetized mixtapes or song covers. They even fully funded the MVs given to both Yoongi and Nams for their mixtapes, and that is something they didn’t have to do.

The boys are given the best produced music videos, and are allowed to create cinematic masterpieces with a deepened meaning. They not censored in the types of lyrics that they write, despite how controversial in Korean culture.

Now this may seem trivial to you. All these small things are nothing compared to the injustice that the members face. How dare they give Jungkook all the lines and leave everyone else out in the cold! 2Seok was basically missing this entire comeback!

Ok I hear you, but at the same time, consider the fact that this is the first (and probably the last) time Hoseok gets few *cough cough none cough cough* individual lines in a song. Spring Day was a more vocal based song, so they decided that he should use his vocal talent to back Jungkook rather than add another rap verse. It makes sense to me, and it gives him the opportunity to show his vocal talent on stage if he and Jungkook harmonize live as well.

And then there is Jin. It seems that he always gets the short end of the stick. The amount of individual screen time he got was unfair yes, completely. He is officially a (debatably the) visual of the group, and if anything that should be the place he pops up the most. But at the same time, Not Today was more a dance video, and he and Nams are well, not the best dancers, so they wouldn’t put them in the middle on all the dance shots.

Also look at the I Need U and Run comebacks, the entire story in the music videos clearly revolved around him and his character, something that the fans were quick to point out and appreciate. For those comebacks, he was in the center.

This is still not a justification, but simply a reason for why they might have chosen to edit the video like they did.

Next moving on to his line distribution. He notoriously along with V get the short end of the stick when it comes to lines. And I think it is simply because of the way the industry works.

You know how sometimes Jimin and Jungkook switch lines because Jimin is better at the high notes in the studio, but Jungkook hits them better live? The same thing goes for most line distributions. What voice works the best for the feeling they want to produce? Who can hold the notes the best on stage? Like I said before, Jin is not the best dancer, and their dances are HARD, so most of his time probably goes towards practicing the choreography rather than nailing his vocal stability on stage.

He objectively doesn’t have the best or most stable voice in the group, as often times on live stages he is out of breath by the time his lines do come up, and that is completely understandable. It’s the reason why so many (even the more experienced) artists lip sync to certain performances.

Dancing while singing is hard, and maybe it’s just not for Jin. Maybe, just maybe, he decided himself that his voice was better suited for slower songs with less choreo so that he can really focus on nailing his vocal performance. I mean in the solo he got to produce himself he chose a more soft ballad song rather than a more hard hitting one like Jimin’s because that just suits his voice better, and he knows it.

That’s why he got a lot more lines in “Butterfly” a slower ballad with less complex dancing and softer vocals, right where Jin thrives, but not really the typical image BTS produces musically.

Once again this isn’t a justification, and more a reason why he might get fewer lines. It is true that the line distributions are unfair and I agree with that, but it’s also a question of the industry standards, and the fact that sometimes it might be the best solution to a shitty problem.

I know I’m probably going to get some flack for this one, but it’s just something that needed to be said. Us fans really need to step back and appreciate not only the boys, but the company that helped make them.

Edd is a pretty fly ace guy, and I’m honestly so glad he exists, because I relate to him on a personal level.

Probably my favorite Edd scene was him just raising his hand and yelling “I don’t like anyone” when Rolly asked if anyone else was going to come out, because I’ve literally done that myself when coming out to people as asexual. I love him.

I’m determined to get to all the characters before Pride Month ends!

🌈 Happy Pride, y’all! 🌈

My language is so weird at times smh. I just typed saavuttamattomammasta and it looks like such a fake word that I had to stop for a moment to make sure that I didn’t mess something up. I didn’t. It’s an actual proper word that in the context of my sentence means “something that is more unreachable". But for some reason we just have to take all those elements and smash them into one word. Because Finnish.

Fred and George having the conversation of which of them was planned, leading all the kids to get into it....
  • Fred and George: We were totally planned together because look at Mum's brothers. Totally meant to happen to honor them...
  • Ron: Please. I'm sure neither of you were planned it just happened. Me on the other hand *adjusts shirt, sitting up straighter in fake pride*
  • Bill: Seriously guys? You do realize I was the only one actually wanted right? You all just happened...
  • Charlie: Why are we discussing this? *knowing very well Molly had planned him so he wasn't bothering with the discussion*
  • Percy: *rolls eyes* because they need to feel like they are wanted, when obviously we all were wanted or we wouldn't be here...
  • Ron: Shut up Perc, you're just annoyed because you know you weren't planned. Who would want you... mum and dad just had too big of a heart to get rid of you..
  • Arthur: *pops his head into the room* Actually you're right. Only one of you was planned... Ginny, Dear, Sorry it took so long to get to you...
  • Missy: Oh, don’t be disgusting, we’re Time Lords, not animals. Try, nano-brain, to rise above the reproductive frenzy of your noisy little food chain, and contemplate friendship. A friendship older than your civilization and infinitely more complex.
  • also Missy: I hope my boyfriend wasn't too mean to you...He can be very mean sometimes. Except to me, of course, because he loves me so much.
  • also Missy: *makes out with Doctor against wall*
  • also Missy: My heart is maintained by the Doctor.
  • the Doctor: Two hearts.
  • also Missy: And both of them yours.
  • also Missy: Oh Clara, Clara, Clara. You know, I should shoot you in a jealous rage, now wouldn't that be sexy?
  • also Missy: Stop shouting, love....
  • also Missy: Ask me! Come on, you know you want to. You want to know what my plan is. You'll be surprised. I've got a gift for you. You know, I've been up and down your timeline, meeting all those silly people who died to keep you alive. And you know what I worked out? What you really need?...To know that you're just like me!
  • also Missy: I need you to know we're not so different. I need my friend back. Every battle, every war, every invasion. From now on, you decide the outcome.
  • also Missy: We can, we can go together [to Gallifrey], just you and me. Just like the old days.
  • Doctor: You'd be clapped in irons.
  • also Missy: If you like.
  • Clara: Since when do you care about the Doctor?
  • also Missy: Since always....
  • also Missy: Doctor, listen to me. I know traps. Traps are my flirting. This is a trap.
  • also Missy: Listen to that. The Doctor without hope. Nobody is safe now.
  • also Missy: The Doctor gave it to me when my daughter....
  • also Missy: *travels through a Dalek infested sewer and city in heels while keeping his pet safe* No. No, no, no, no. Doctor, what have you done? *runs towards danger to save the Doctor from his own stupidity*
  • also Missy: *laughs at the Doctor's sarcastic comeback like a schoolgirl with a massive crush*
  • also Missy: In a way, this is why I gave her to you in the first place. To make you see. The friend inside the enemy, the enemy inside the friend...Everyone's a bit of both, everyone's a hybrid.
  • also Missy: Please, I'll do anything. Just let me live...I'll be good, I promise. I'll turn, I'll turn good. Please. Teach me, teach me how to be good...I know I'm going to die. I have to say it, the truth. Without hope, without witness, without reward, I am your friend.
  • the Doctor: Of course she's not dead, she's a friend of mine. I may have fiddled with your wiring a little bit.
  • also Missy: *stays in Vault for decades even though she could escape at any time*
  • also Missy: C'est super. So, what have you got so far? *drapes herself across piano whilst encouraging the Doctor to puzzle out how to defeat the monks*
  • also Missy: *cries* ...You didn't tell me about this bit.
  • the Doctor: I'm sorry, but this is good.
  • also Missy: Okay.
  • also Missy: *peers shyly around console rotor*
  • also Missy: Sure, that's fine...But Doctor, please tell me, really. Are you alright?
  • also Missy: *cries* I don't even know why I'm crying. Why, why do I keep doing that now?
  • the Doctor: I don't know. Maybe you're trying to impress me.
  • also Missy: Yes. Probably some devious plan, that sounds about right.
  • the Doctor: Well the alternative would be much worse.
  • also Missy: Really?
  • the Doctor: The alternative is that this is for real and it's time for us to become friends again.
  • also Missy: Do you think so? *Takes step forward. The Doctor steps back, then tentatively takes Missy's hands in his own. Missy gasps in surprise.*
  • the Doctor: I don't know. That's the trouble with hope. It's hard to resist. *Lets go of Missy's hands and walks away.*
HEY

You know what I want? A Markiplier musical. But with just Marliplier. Like Mark has to battle all the characters/versions of himself he’s ever made in the Ministry of Marks. Maybe they try to eliminate Mark to take over his channel and then the world? Or perhaps Darkiplier kidnaps other Marks to drain their essence and become the one and only superior Mark. I’d just like to see them all together with all their unique personalities and singing. Like they’re all so different in their own way. Just imagining them in a musical makes me laugh because I can imagine each of them having their own singing/dancing style that works for them and how it might compliment or juxtapose the others.

I mean just look at these guys.

Who wouldn’t want to see these guys sing and dance?

the-word-weaver-of-the-faeries  asked:

“let’s keep this between the two of us.” Azriel and Feyre?

“Let’s keep this between the two of us, okay?” Feyre mutters to Az as he slips, unobtrusively into her bedchamber and she jumps to her feet, hurrying to meet him.

The shadowsinger just nods, ever dutiful to his High Lady’s every wish.

“No-one saw you come up here, did they?” she can’t help herself asking anxiously, glancing over his shoulder as though expecting Rhys to burst through the door at any moment and catch them together.

Azriel just gives her a flat look that implies he’s insulted she would even ask such a thing of him. Perks of being a super spy, she supposes.

“Alright, I’m ready,” she says, holding out a hand in invitation. Azriel grips it tightly and they winnow into shadow and darkness. They emerge moments later onto the pleasantly warm Velaris streets, pleasantly bustling but not overly crowded, something neither of them would have appreciated.

They set off together, Azriel quietly leading the way while Feyre follows, smiling and nodding at some of the people they pass who wave greetings to her. “Thanks so much for this, Az,” she puffs out, checking her bag to ensure she brought her purse with her. She doesn’t usually, typically relying on the convenient credit she has in most stores, but she doesn’t want Rhys to have any inclination of her purchase today. “You’re a lifesaver.”

“It’s no trouble,” he says, leading them down into a quiet, shaded street and walking to the very end, a small store tucked into the corner. “I live to serve at the  High Lady’s pleasure.” She squints up at him, one eyebrow raised, and he smirks. “And entertaining as his last birthday was, I understand it’s not an experience you want to repeat.”

“No,” Feyre groans, burying her face in a hand at the shame of it. She has many talents and she loves her mate dearly, as Azriel knows,  but gift buying has never been her strong-suit. And the bastard has a habit of finding exactly what she wants every single year without fail. Just once she wants to get him something absolutely perfect. Fortunately, she has a secret weapon in the form of Azriel.

“Really though,” she grumbles, pushing into the shop after him, “Who’s allergic to strawberries?”

“Rhys,” Azriel hums simply in that way that implies he knows everything in the world and that nothing could ever surprise him.

Well, he had been surprised last year when Rhys had taken a large bite from one of the chocolates she had delightedly given him and then promptly started choking. The shadowsinger hadn’t been expecting that. Unfortunately neither had she.

“And Keir,” he adds as an apparently innocent afterthought.

Feyre blinks, startled, looking round at him. She supposes it’s not too odd, Keir and Rhys are related, even distantly. Still, “I suspect that comes from the list you have tucked away somewhere that details every known method of killing that bastard; not a concern for the steward’s meal choices?” She muses lightly. That tugs a small, dark smirk out of Az.

Azriel leads her to the back of the shop then stops in front of one of the small, dusty glass-fronted cabinets to let her see what he’s picked out for her. She opens her mouth to point out that the display is stuffed full of items, she isn’t sure which one he means, but she stops when she sees it, her face lighting up in a smile. Hugging a rather startled Az she whispers, “It’s perfect.” And is relieved when he accepts the hug, smiling, patting her rather awkwardly on the shoulder to convey his acceptance of her gratitude.

Once Feyre has made her purchase and had it carefully wrapped up by the owner, who seems friendly with Azriel, well, as friendly as anyone can be with him, the two wander back out onto the streets of Velaris. Feyre insists on dragging him into a nearby shop and pressing a large amount of fine differently coloured balls of wool into Az’s protesting hands and then further insists on taking him for a quiet cup of tea.

She rarely spends time alone with the shadowsinger, he always seems to be out somewhere on some secret mission sometimes she doubts even Rhys knows about. That or closeted up in his room with Mor, enjoying the time he has with her. Usually she only has conversations with him like this when they all go to Rita’s and neither of them feel much like dancing for an hour or so.

It’s nice, though. Azriel has a quiet, oddly calming presence, even with the shadows darting around him, whispering, always whispering. There’s a comfort to being around him, a sense of safety, and an odd feeling that she could tell him anything and he would simply nod and understand. As a result, Az is the one she’s gone to more times than she can count when she’s had a difficult decision about the court to make that she doesn’t want to put on her mate. He inevitably listens to all she has to say and offers a few quiet insights that help her make up her mind. She values his opinion, and his friendship, more highly than she thinks he’ll ever know.

Not longer after they’ve sat down in a comfortable booth by the window, they’re both brought two teas and slices of cake that she hadn’t ordered, but that she suspects Azriel did, given that they’re both topped with liberal amounts of strawberries and that their arrival prompts a rare, mischievous smile to blossom across his lips.

Feyre nibbles at her cake then decides now is as good a time as any to bring up what she wants to, as well as have her revenge for this little dig about the strawberries. Looking slyly at Az over the rim of her cup she says innocently, “I’m sorry to take you away from Mor, I know you just got back, you must have been wanting to spend some time with her.”

Azriel just blinks at her, saying nothing, as he drops a lump of sugar into his tea. Then another. Then another. She’s discovered, from these little retreats they make to this place from time to time when they both need a little peace and quiet, that he takes an inordinate amount of sugar in his tea. He had confessed to her once, with a small smile, that it was his one and only weakness.

Finally, carefully, too carefully, Azriel says, “I’ll have plenty of time to brief Mor, later.” Yes, brief her, amongst other things.

“Mm,” Feyre muses, taking a small sip of tea, “Wouldn’t you rather have spent the morning with her than me?”

Azriel blinks, apparently genuinely bemused by this comment, “You’re my friend, Feyre,” he says quietly, sincerely, “I like spending time with both of you.” Damn. She really should leave the subtlety and intrigue up to Az as well as the gift choosing. And he’s too earnest and good-natured, there’s no fun in teasing him at all.

“Azriel,” she says quietly, a soft smile tugging at her lips, “I know.” He blinks owlishly up at her again, clearly implying you know what? And she just scowls at him because if she doesn’t get to tease him then she’s not playing games with him either.

A deep flush of colour burns into Az’s cheeks as he stares at her, “How?” he rasps eventually and she smirks smugly at him.

“You’re not the only one who can know other people’s secrets, Az,” she says with a grin, taking another pointed bite of the strawberry cake, which really isn’t half bad. She might have to bring Rhys here at some point, then she might have half a chance of finishing a dessert on her own without the High Lord’s spoon magically making its way over to her plate while he twitters about ‘mating bond equality’ and ‘what’s yours is mine, Feyre darling’.

Azriel’s face darkens at that and a low, protective growl rumbles in his chest, “Who told you?” he demands, hands curling into fists.

She starts in surprise at the sudden black venom in his voice and opens her mouth to say something when Azriel freezes, apparently realising how he’d reacted. The blush on his cheeks darkens and his wings twitch, clearly uncomfortable. “I’m sorry,” he murmurs quietly, and she has her suspicions that he and Mor haven’t been together for long confirmed, based on his response.

“It’s alright, I understand,” she says quietly, and she does. That need to protect, to keep her safe must be heightened for the two of them after the amount of time they spent apart. She smiles, “And no-one told me, Az,” she huffs, a faint hint of playful scolding in her tone, “I can find some things out without the help of you and your spies, you know, I’m not blind.”

“Says the woman who didn’t notice for nearly fifty years that her mate is allergic to strawberries,” Az mumbles into his tea, but she notes the playful spark in his eyes and resists the urge to kick him under the table with difficulty.

Instead she reaches over and takes his hand, “I’m happy for you, Azriel. For both of you. You deserve this,” she gives his hand a soft squeeze and finally manages to coax a faint smile from him.  “But why-”

“Didn’t we tell anyone?” Azriel supplies for her. She supposes he has to find some way to claw back his composure, the best way he knows how, making sure he knows everything she does. Mostly. She nods. He shifts uncomfortably, wings rustling in agitation at his back as he shrugs. “We would have, when we were ready,” he says quietly. “We’re just…Not.” She’s never seen him so discomposed before, he’s usually the picture of articulate eloquence. But Mor…She does this to him. “Not yet, Feyre, please-”

She gives his hand another quick squeeze, smiling, “I won’t breathe a word of it to anyone, Az, I promise.” He smiles, nodding his head, and thanks her.

They finish their tea and cake and then Feyre winnows him to Mor’s townhouse before returning herself to the House of Wind to finish up her preparations for Rhys’ birthday.

The next day, her mate is delighted by the delicate ornament of crystal Illyrian wings she gives him, after having spent all of the day before painting them, accenting the details until they’re a near perfect replica of her mate’s own.

Feyre notes the way Azriel’s scarred, gentle hand slides around Mor’s waist, squeezing, drawing her in close, just for a moment while no-one else is watching….But misses the way Rhys raises his glass of wine in Azriel’s direction while she’s chatting to Mor, thanking his brother for picking out the gift. Az nods and smiles. The two of them are content to keep this particular secret between themselves for the rest of their long eternities.

Small psa

I just wanted to get this off my chest since I do get a few messages every once in a while about us: my girlfriend and I broke up.

It was the Saturday of the most recent con and we relized everything was too tense. So we sat down and real talked and mutually decided that we didn’t work in person.

I actually blame myself for most of it. I had a past long distance relationship that was very abusive, more than I like to admit. So once kelsey came I had a lot of flashbacks and held back a lot of anxiety attacks. I actually jumped at almost all the offers of alcohol that weekend just to calm myself down and that lead to slightly shitty things on my part 😞 so we ended it and we ended it together

Thankfully we are still on really good terms! We got all shippy for the osomatsu San photoshoot and gave eachother promise rings (to promise to stay connected. I keep mine in my bag I take EVERYWHERE with me 💙) we’re even chatting as I type this out 😂

But I just wanted to get this out there. I’m a single Pringle once again and I will not be doing long distance again unless I’ve met the person before and know them really well 😤😤😤😤

I’m not trying to be self-pitying right now, but unless you’ve been through it you really don’t understand what it feels like to be academically successful and praised for your intelligence your entire life and then suddenly start slipping, because you’re physically or mentally unwell, because a subject is finally beyond your comprehension, or because you’re just plain overwhelmed. Or maybe a combination of all four, who knows. There are so many (wonderful) narratives in human culture about subverting low expectations and proving everyone wrong. But when people expect the world of you and you prove them wrong, and you prove yourself wrong, it just makes everything you’ve worked for and everything you value about yourself seem pointless. It’s a form of pain that I’m sure can’t be too uncommon, but it isn’t talked about much, so when it does happen to you it feels like you are all alone and solely responsible for your failures. All in all, I wish people could praise students, children, for their accomplishments and abilities without sending them down a tightrope of constant self-imposed academic pressure and insecurity.

anonymous asked:

How do you feel about adopting dogs that were born in puppy mills? I personally wouldn't get one, I just think about it a lot as a moral dilemma. On one hand, you shouldn't give money to keep the mill running, but if you don't adopt that dog, who knows what could happen to it? Don't all dogs need loving homes despite their background that sees a living animal as profit? Idk I just want other opinions on this in hopes to make sense of it

It is a moral dilemma. Ultimately, the goal is to not support these places to the point of running them out of business. Puppy mills and backyard breeders can only remain if they are being funded. Purchasing a dog from these places out of guilt will only condemn more dogs to these unethical practices, not to mention you will most likely be getting an unhealthy dog. It is best to steer clear and hope that the dogs end up being rescued by a non-profit. While puppy mills are still legal in some states, abuse and neglect are not. If you ever come across a mill or breeder that has dogs living in unethical conditions, you should report them.

i went back to the neighbourhood where i grew up (mostly, i’m still growing) and it was fun but i miss it so so much
