Interspersed between fresh fusions of beats, bass, and splintered electronica, Lunice brings to life throwbacks from French label Youngunz, such as French Fries, while paying homage to hip-hop heads Rick Ross and Waka Flocka. Delicately peppering club favorite, “No Hands” with ambient vocals and jazzy trumpets(!!) every track evokes an eargasmic double-take on tracks otherwise shelved as Top 40 (aka forget that shit).

Lunice even swags out and shines up overplayed (and obnoxious) anthem by Foster the People, “Pumped up Kicks”. Reducing the vocals to ‘just got kicked up in the balls’ falsetto, before morphing. Injecting his own murderous heavy bass beats on track, “I See You,” Lunice reminds while he’s more than on his grind. Well played, sir. Well played.
