them against the world

anonymous asked:

Do you hope the Catholic and Anglican priests who molest get the whole world turned against them for raping little kids?

I certainly hope anyone who molests or rapes a child (or anyone for that matter) is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I also hope that those same people know that there is forgiveness in Christ.

I definitely sense some nudes coming soon...

lol, pretty much every other ask I get is about nudes haha. I wouldn’t be against posting them, just don’t want the whole world and its mother being able to see them…

i texted my dad and told him i’m terrified. he called me and said this:

“I know you’re scared. I know you feel isolated and helpless. But you aren’t alone. You have me. You have our family. You have your friends and your readers and millions of other Americans who are going to scream down the mountains with you. I know a lot of queer people grew up with just them against the world, but that isn’t how it is anymore. Even if he wins, you’ll be alright, because you aren’t alone.”

and now i’m crying.

Things that could totally happen next season:

-Yuri and Yurio spending time together! Bonding!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Yuri winning gold
-Yuri and Victor getting married
-the reception taking place at a skating rink so their first dance can be on the ice
-my death

Love this moment.

It’s almost like she knows J is in that helicopter coming to get her and she’s looking at the Squad thinking, “Yeah, you and I can handle them easy.”

This little moment subtly reminds the audience that they are a team and that Harley is only there to get back with her puddin. Really does show what Harley is willing do to, willing to betray, to get back to Mistah J.

I was at a Standing Rock teach-in the other day, and stereotypical liberal white lady asks a question about the protection actions no longer being peaceful, very clearly implying that this news would invalidate the cause. And I was so fucking angry. First of all, whether or not the actions are peaceful does not correlate with the validity of their cause.

But they’ve chosen to be peaceful, and they are. They are peaceful, no matter what the selective imagery of the oppressor tells you.

Make no mistake, the reason why they are peaceful is because Native people don’t have the privilege to be otherwise. The police can shoot rubber bullets and spray the protectors with mace, and people won’t say it invalidates them or the pipeline. But the moment Natives try to protect themselves, white people will turn against us. The moment Natives match the violence that has been used against them, the whole damn world will be saying “they deserve to die.”

Supernatural/the Walking Dead crossover

After seeing Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan I couldn’t stop thinking about crossover like this. In the world where people are more dangerous than monsters, would Winchesters still stand by their “Saving people, hunting things” motto? Or would it be them against the rest of the world?

Everyone’s freaking out. Yes, they’re drowning. Mrs Hudson’s flat is completely submerged. She has left town. England has fallen.

But Sherlock’s demise came at a waterfall, the whole show centers on his choices surrounding Reichenbach – drowning is a very relevant theme.

But it’s the two of them against the rest of the world, so whatever happens we know it’ll be okay.

Negative Things You'll Find the Signs Doing
  • Aries: Boasting about themselves, being overly competitive, instigating for fun
  • Taurus: Self-indulging, sticks to their opinion without considering other opinions, coming off as rude
  • Gemini: Cutting people off when speaking, lying over small things that don't need to be lied about, short-attention span
  • Cancer: Sulking over the smallest things, apathetic to other people's feelings but want people to sympathize with them
  • Leo: Changing topic of conversation to themselves, dramatizing every situation, verbally aggressive when they feel attacked
  • Virgo: Gives opinion when no one asked, over-glorifies their honesty/bluntness, twists words in arguments
  • Libra: Being TOO neutral which reveals shallowness, avoids confrontation, will genuinely but dramatically think the world is against them
  • Scorpio: Lashing out on others, complaining that no one understands them but are purposefully distant, holding grudges
  • Sagittarius: Insulting someone and saying afterwords "I was just joking!" Acting like a know-it-all, speaking w/no filter
  • Capricorn: Making another feel stupid/belittled, rude sarcasm to insult someone, uncompromising to the point of stubbornness
  • Aquarius: Over glorifies their "unique" personality, minimizing serious issues with humor at inappropriate times, claiming to be wise but showing naivety
  • Pisces: Playing victim, sulking/crying when something doesn't go their way, self-pitying, moody behavior
Because he rather liked people. It was major failing in a demon. Oh, he did his best to make their short lives miserable, because that was his job, but nothing he could think up was half as bad as the stuff they thought up themselves. They seemed to have a talent for it. It was built into the design, somehow.
They were born into a world that was against them in a thousand little ways, and then devoted most of their energies to making it worse. Over the years Crowley had found it increasingly difficult to find anything demonic to do which showed up against the natural background of generalized nastiness. There had been times, over the past millennium, when he’d felt like sending a message back Below saying, Look we may as well give up right now, we might as well shut down Dis and Pandemonium and everywhere and move up here, there’s nothing we can do to them that they don’t do to themselves and they do things we’ve never even thought of, often involving electrodes. They’ve got what we lack. They’ve got imagination. And electricity, of course. One of them had written it, hadn’t he…"Hell is empty, and all the devils are here.
