After years of digital photography, you begin to have quite an archive of images. Probably changing the way you archive more than once if you’re like me. You begin to adapt different ways of naming the images, and how to categorize them on hard drives, so you can hopefully find them years later with ease.
It’s fun to look back at images you took in the beginning. There’s probably some that were awful and you’d be perfectly ok with never seeing again. But there’s others that still resonate with you, like this blueberry shot. It’s my favorite out of all the blueberries I’ve photographed!
The dessert plates from the Astier de Villatte collection for Rue Magazine. If you’ve never seen the collection, you can find them at Sue Fisher King in SF. They are handmade in Paris of black terra cotta clay with their signature white glossy glaze. Inspired by 18th & 19th century designs, each piece is unique and absolutely beautiful!
