A/N: Another Zach imagine, but I excuse myself if you find some grammar errors. It’s 01:12 and I am so sleepy. I wanted to post something and I read the imagine to correct it, but my eyes are closing by themselves. Sorry! Anyways, I am listening to Miles’ podcast while I was writing this, until now, and I am really enjoying it. His voice is angelic and I love him so freaking much, aw. Boyfriend backstories, though. I really need Miles and I need him to be more active in social medias. Ah, the feels. Last thing: I hope you enjoy the imagine, although I think that it’s boring, but enjoy! Thank you, guys!
P.S.: I am not accepting any part 2 requests for my prompt imagines. Sorry.
“Dinner is almost ready, guys!” Karen, your boyfriend’s mum, shouted from the kitchen as she prepared some delicious food for you and the family. You wanted to help her, also as a token of your gratitude, but she declined your offer. It bothered you, but she insisted that you were a guest and guests usually shouldn’t do anything when they were welcomed in the Dempsey’s residence.
“Alright, mum!” Zach answered happily and relieved because his stomach was already growling loudly for hunger. You told him to eat a snack before going home but he didn’t listen to you, being the hard-headed guy that he was.
You both got up from the couch and you made your way to the dining room. The table was well-set, cutleries and glasses at their right places, and his sister, May, was already sitting on her usual place. You wandered your eyes around the room and you noticed that his mum really prepared too much for the dinner. She cleaned every angle of the room and the floor was brightly shining.
“Love birds!” May exclaimed to tease her brother. Zach was a reserved person when it came to his family. He didn’t keep secrets from his mother, but he was shy and quiet type of guy with them. He never showed them his naughtiness, that would come out only when he was with you alone, at school or in bed, obviously. He didn’t like divulging information about his relationship status in front of his family, mostly with his mother’s presence. “How was your cuddling session going there?”
“May!” Zach approached and he rolled his eyes. You softly giggled for your boyfriend’s actions and red-tinted face. He was obviously embarrassed and, luckily, his mother was too concentrated on what she was doing.
“What?” His sister looked at the two of you as you sat on your respective places and her eyeballs swung back and forth between you and Zach. She was observing your actions and you couldn’t deny that she was a good observer. She had the capacity to observe and to reflect, to remember and to picture the happenings. “It was just an innocent question.”
“Innocent? Right.” Zach huffed and glared at you as soon as he heard your soft laugh. “You are way too young to know these things, May.” And, that time, you knew that he was being overprotective and cosseting brother. He has always been and you found it sweet and cute.
“Zach, she’s not two anymore. She hears things like these in middle school. Do you know that?” You defended May against his brother and she nodded her head to confirm your statements, totally agreeing with you. You caressed your vexed boyfriend’s hand to calm him, letting him know that you weren’t against him, but you were just stating a fact.
“(Y/N) is right, Zach! You’ve been a Middle School student too, you should know what’s going on in those halls and classrooms.” May supported your opinion and you both laughed as you saw Zach rolling his eyes and you heard him huffing, defenceless.
“Stop the blabbering now, the food is ready.” His mother blurted out as she stood in front of the dining table with a bowl in her hands.
She attentively put the bowl in the middle of the table, trying not to spill the food. Zach helped her to get the remaining food from the kitchen counter. After all, he was a great, responsible and educated son. His mother grew him well and you would never stop thanking her for raising a civilized and knowledgeable son like Zach.
You then started to eat, doing his family’s daily routines before every meal. You wanted to respect his family, of course. Your parents raised you well and they somehow taught you some good manners.
“So, what were you talking about?” Zach’s mother asked as you chewed your food thoroughly, avoiding the annoying sound that you could possibly have made by chewing.
“Nothing, Mum!” Zach blushed as panic wrapped his body. He was embarrassed and he surely didn’t want to let her know what the chitchatting before was all about.
“Oh, it was about how cute they were when cuddling and Zach was just bewildered.” May nonchalantly responded as she fiddled with the fork on her hand.
“My little baby is still embarrassed when it came to talking about his relationship status.” His mum cheekily teased Zach and he pouted as if he was showing how offended he was.
“Mum!” He approached and you just laughed because of his reaction.
“Zach, I’m sure that they are happy that you have someone with you. There’s no need to be shy, they are part of your family.” You stated and you earned some nods and smiles from May and Karen.
“She’s incredibly right!” May agreed and you smiled back at her. She’s always declared that she liked you for Zach and that she was jubilant because his brother found someone who really knew how to make him contented of his life.
“Zach, honey, it doesn’t bother me at all and you know that you can always talk to me, right?” His mum assured him and he just nodded, realizing that you were right.
“You are absolutely right again, my princess.” Zach said as he rolled his eyes. He couldn’t swallow that only right things came out from your mouth. “Strangely.”
“It’s not my fault if I think before I speak, love.” You pointed it out playfully. You heard his family laughing and Zach shook his head in disbelief. He was satisfied that you had your confidence with your family, but he regretted it as you formed a group against him.
“She really knows you, Zach!” May stated proudly. Zach nodded his head, finally giving up. “That’s why I like her.”
“You like her because you have a partner in crime when it came to me, you had a partner when it came to vexing and teasing me.” Zach sarcastically pointed out. “And, you, Ms. (Y/L/N),”
“Me?” You pointed yourself with your index finger and an eyebrow raised. You were confused, but seeing Zach a little bit miffed made you laugh and contented.
“Yes, baby.” Zach’s face became serious. “I didn’t bring you here to tease me.” He then gave you a playful and wide smile as he poked your sides, trying to find your ticklish part of the body.
“Oh,” His mum exclaimed. “we love her presence also for that reason, son.” She stated and a loud laugh was heard in the dining room. You caught Zach’s index finger and you held it as you stopped him from his devilish plan.
“Sure, you do!” Sarcasm was heard from Zach’s voice and he exasperatedly sighed. He finally gave up as he knew that he could never win against the most important girls in his life. He just loved you so much that he couldn’t really get angry of your actions.
“Sorry, not sorry!” His mum and May said simultaneously, making you and Zach laugh out loud. Zach finally let himself in and decided to have a little bit of fun.
You loved Zach and his family because of its bond and craziness. The members of his family were adorable and you wanted to thank them for accepting you for who you were.
You were grateful, because the Dempsey family is your second home and you couldn’t help but be enthusiastic by thought of it. They considered you as a part of their family and you would always be invited in their family dinners because they liked you, nevertheless your boyfriend would punish you for being an annoying teaser and girlfriend.
It didn’t matter to you though because he loved you so much and he would always do, just at the same frequency as your manner to vex or to tease him with his family. He was a playful jerk and idiot, but Zach was Zach and he would always accept you and love you. He would always do, no more and no less.
a/n: i think that this is one of my fav requests bc i wrote the character based off of me a lil bit hehe. also, thanks for 700! 💓
warnings: swearing, smut, you already know what it is, my old sinner ways
you walk into school to be greeted by a chorus of “oh’s.” this wasn’t an unusual occurrence at liberty high, but it was an annoying one because every time it happened, you knew that there was some undeserving victim at the root of it all.
you sigh deeply and walk towards your locker, but you can’t quite make it all the way there because the hall is blocked by the formed circle. in the center, you see montgomery de la cruz taunting some freshman you’ve never seen before. the boy looks absolutely terrified, while monty chuckles. it isn’t long before monty has him by his collar and pushed up against the wall. monty is about to throw a punch, and you speak up, pushing yourself toward the center of the circle.
“monty can you stop being such a dick for once in your life?” you say and the boy turns his attention towards you. once he sees that it’s you, his expression softens a bit and then quickly turns into a smirk. “this is men’s business y/n, it’s best if you just butt out.” he says to you arrogantly. the crowd laughs. “you shouldn’t be partaking in it then,” you say, crossing your arms across your chest. “put him down.” the chorus of “ooo’s” rises again and you see monty’s nostrils flare.
“and if i don’t?” he questions. “then i’ll shove my foot so far up your ass, you’ll cough up
my size 5 vans.” you snap at him. monty looks stunned and shakes his head, putting the boy down. the crowd subsides and you walk to your locker. monty’s gaze lingers on you while you put in your combination. he walks over to where you’re standing and props himself against the locker beside you.
“size 5? tiny, that’s cute.” he says while you dig around your locker. you groan and close the door, still annoyed with him. “montgomery, go be a piece of shit somewhere else, maybe go to class for once? i don’t have the time right now.” you say trying to walk away from him. he stands in front of you, placing each hand on either side of your head. he’s dangerously close to your face, so close that you can smell the mint on his breath and feel it on your cheeks. you’d be lying if you said that you didn’t find him attractive. “leave me the hell alone de la cruz. don’t you have somewhere to be?” you spat at him, trying to seem confident. on the inside, you felt like you were melting.
“why do you hate me, y/n?” monty asks you while searching your eyes with his. you snap into reality and remember why you’re angry with him in the first place. looking him dead in the eyes, you begin speaking. “because, you’re an ass monty. you’re such a bully and i’m sick of your shi-” monty let’s his impulses take over and cuts you off by smashing his lips onto yours. he pulls away and stares at you intently. “how do you manage to piss me off so much, but turn me on at the same time, y/l/n?” monty says while gripping your wrist.
you giggle at his words until he presses himself flush against you. you can feel your breath hitch in your throat. “you think this is funny?”
he growls while grinding himself against you. you let out a shaky breath and then you smash your lips onto his. you didn’t know what was taking over you, but you weren’t complaining. monty yanks your hand and leads you into the janitor’s closet, slamming it shut and locking it.
his lips immediately attach to your neck and you shudder from his touch. “you’re stupid montgomery.” you moan breathlessly. “mmmhmmm.” he hums against your neck in response. “so stupid.” you moan as he lifts your shirt above your head. monty kisses you again, more forcefully this time. you can feel his hard on dig into your leg, so you glide your hand down to start palming him. he moans into your mouth and then grabs your wrists, pinning them above your head while he kisses you roughly all over.
monty sits down, pulling you on top of him. he grabs your hips and you start grinding against his erection, moaning from the friction. “fucking shit y/n, you’re so sexy.” monty groans while grabbing your ass to squeeze it. you smirk and stand up, and his eyes latch onto you. you decide to give him a show and take off your pants and panties painfully slow, without breaking eye contact with him. his eyes rake your body up and down and he takes his pants off too.
he walks towards you swiftly and has you pushed to the wall again in a rough, fiery kiss. you tug at the waistband of his boxers, and he pulls away. “jump.” monty breathed into your ear, and you felt chills go down your spine. you do as he says, wrapping your legs around his waist in the process. he uses one hand to pull down his underwear, positions himself at your entrance, and pounds into you hard and fast. the sudden contact made you cry out in pain as you bounced on him. his firm grip around your waist was sure to leave hard to explain bruises, but in the moment, all you can think about is the pleasure that you feel. your eyes roll back as you grip monty’s shoulders.
“o- oh my… fuck.” is all that monty can get out. you try to control your moans but with every thrust, all you can do is gasp out. you were never one to be speechless, but words couldn’t describe how you were feeling.
monty backs up and sits against the shelf so that you can ride him. your hips rolled effortlessly while you placed your hands on his chest. you felt your legs getting weaker by the second, knowing that you were nearing the edge. “fu- oh my god mont, i’m close.” you whimper. monty sits up so that he can kiss you, and you start to bounce on him faster. he moans into your mouth again and then pulls away to place wet kisses on your jawline, lacing his hand into your hair. he kisses behind your ear and then begins whispering to you.
“let it out baby girl.” monty says in your ear, causing you to shiver. “look at you, riding my cock. god you look so hot right now. i wish you could see it.” he continues. his words motivate you to bounce even quicker, and he hisses. your nails dig into monty’s back. your walls clench, and you come undone around him. before you have a chance to ride out your high, monty flips you onto your back. he rolls his hips into you and brings his thumb down to rub your clit. pleasure jolts through your body as monty goes to work.
your whimpers echo off the walls of the janitor’s closet while monty grunts. “shit y/n, i’m not going to last.” he breathes out. monty rubs your clit even faster and your eyes roll back. your vision blurs as you cry out his name, and your senses go into overdrive. monty puts his head in the crook of your neck, and after a few more thrusts, he comes, triggering your second orgasm. you both breathe heavily while trying to recover from the event that just took place.
“so,” monty starts, “wanna ditch? i mean we’re already hella late, and i have the house to myself. what do you say?” he questions you with a smirk.
A/N: I´m from Germany so I have no idea how the schools in America are like.
It was a
week ago that you last had spoken to Montgomery. The last time was at the party
of Bryce Walker. You were so drunk, that he had to drive you home and walk you
to your front door. And that´s when you did something you regretted. You kissed
him, you kissed him in your drunken state, but the worst part was that he
pushed you away. He didn’t even want to kiss you and it hurts. The problem was
that you had a crush on that brown haired boy with freckles, but since that night
you couldn´t look at him, you were too embarrassed.
You were walking through the hallways of Liberty High, making your way to
communication class. You sat down in your usual seat in the classroom. You were
the first on in class so you pulled out your phone, answering texts from
Jessica and Sheri. “Hey Y/N, how are you?” You looked up and saw Sheri standing
in front of you. “Hey Sheri, I´m good and you?” You greeted her with a small
smile. “Good, I never thought I would see you here today?” She exhaled with a
small smile. “What do you mean?” You tried to sound confused, but of course you
knew what she meant. This was the only class you and Montgomery had together
and to avoid him you skipped it. “You skipped this class for almost a week.”
She said and you rolled your eyes. “Well, I´m here now.” You answered and she
nodded, sitting down in front of you and started conservation about something that
happened during cheerleader practice. People started to gather in and with them
also Montgomery and Bryce; of course they had to sit down on our table. “Hello
Lady´s.” Bryce greeted you smirking. Sheri greeted him with a short hello while
you just nodded. “Y/N, haven’t seen you in a while, you look good.” Bryce
shoots you a smirk, winking at you. “Thanks Bryce.” You said and rolled your
eyes. You sighed in relief when Mrs. Bradley came through the door and began
For the rest of the class you scribbled in your text book, avoiding every
glance Montgomery shoots you. After the bell rang you almost stormed out of the
class room, making your way to the library, the only quiet place and also the
best one to avoid Monty. “Y/N, wait a minute.” You heard Montgomery shout after
you and you quickened your pace. He turned you toward him and looked at you
confused. “What?” you snapped pushing his hand off of your shoulder. “You have
been avoiding me.” He simply stated and you rolled your eyes. “I have not and
now excuse me I still have an essay to write.” You tried to walk away from him
but he stopped you again. “Is it because of what happened at your porch last
week?” he asked and you took in a sharp breath. You shook your head no,
avoiding his gaze. “Come on, Y/N/N, look at me.” He whispered and grabbed you
hand, squeezing it slightly. “Stop Monty.” You said and pulled your hand out of
his grab. “Stop being nice. That makes hating you a lot harder.” You whispered
and you knew it was childish but it was your way to protect yourself. “You hate
me, but kissed me?” he asked clearly amused. “God, I take everything back.
You´re an asshole.” You mumbled more to yourself and walked away from him, not
only hurt and embarrassed but also pissed. “Come on, Y/N/N, it was only a
joke.” You shook your head, tears starting to well up.
You sat in
the library trying to focus on your essay. But every time you tried to form
sentences your thoughts to that arrogant jock. Maybe it was your own fault.
When you didn’t kissed him and controlled your emotion, you wouldn´t be in this
situation. You could no longer pretend to see him just like a friend, like you
didn’t fall for him.
Your phone, what was lying next to your text book, began to vibrate. You looked
down and saw that it was Sheri, asking you if you want to go get a coffee with
her after cheerleader practice. You told her that you will wait for her at the
parking lot. After half an hour later you made your way into gym deciding to
wait on the bleachers for Sheri.
When you stepped into the gym Sheri instantly spotted you. “Hey Y/N” she greeted
you with a big smile and waved at you. Your gaze wandered around the gym and you
spotted Montgomery. You thought about leaving again, but decided against it; it
would look stupid and childish. So you sat down on the bleachers, pulling the
book you were recently reading out of your school purse. You tried to focus on
the words written in your book, but your eyes always wandered toward Monty. To
say he look good in his baseball shirt and sweatpants was an understatement.
You noticed that you began to bit your lips and instantly stopped, turning your
attention back to your book.
“Hey Y/N, do you wanna play with my bat?” Bryce shouted flirty at you and the
rest of the boys began to laugh; except for one jock who shoot daggers toward
Bryce, what you didn’t noticed. “I think you couldn´t handle my swing, Bryce.”
You shouted back, with a fake smile on your lips. The boys behind Byrce laughed
and with them the Monty. But Bryce wouldn´t give up and walked toward you.
“Well, but I can try. I could skip the rest of practice and we could go over to
my house.” He leaned on his baseball bat smirking and winked. “In your dreams,
Walker.” You looked back down at your book, feeling uncomfortable that the whole
gym is watching the scene. “But we could make this dream come truth.” He
smirked up at you and you sighed. “Stop talking before I throw up.” You shoot
him another fake smile, hoping he would finally stop. He lifts his hands in
defense and turned around, going back to his friends and continue practice.
Your eyes meet Monty´s and he shoots you small smile.
You lay on
your bed finally finishing your essay that was due in two days. A knock on your
door tear you from your essay and in your doorway stand your mother a smile on
her lips. “What is it, Mum?” you asked, returning the smile. “Well, there is
this good looking boy standing in our living room, asking to see you.” She simply
stated and you raised your eyebrows surprised. “Wait, what good looking boy?”
you asked her confused, sitting straight up in bed. “You know the one with
freckles. He says his name is Montgomery.” She answered and you let out a sigh.
You got up and walked behind your mother downstairs. Midway down the stairs you
stopped, looking at Monty with a frown on your face. He was talking to your
father and they seem to get along, normally your father hates every male that
comes near you. “What are you doing here?” you asked from your spot on the
stairs and Montgomery turned around, a nervous look on his face. “Uhm, I wanted
to talk to you.” He said and shoots you an even more nervous smile. “Are you
two together? I mean is he your boyfriend?” asked your father and looked at you
delightful. “No dad, we are not together.” You look at your father who held now
a slight disappointed look. “Come Monty, we´re going to my room.” You said and
began to walk upstairs again, hearing him sprinting toward you. “Keep the doors
open you two.” Your mother shouted after Monty and you. “God, Mom stop.” You mumbled,
but by her snickering you knew she heard you.
Montgomery stands in the middle of your room, looking at your pictures and the
books in your bookshelf. “You have a lot of books.” Montgomery mumbled scanning
through your books. “So that´s what you wanted to talk about?” you asked
amused, standing next him after closing the door. “No, of course not.” He said,
finally turning toward you. “So that night when you kissed me, I pushed you
away, not because I didn’t want to kiss you but because you were drunk. I
doesn´t want to take advantage of your drunken state.” He said and you laughed
sarcastically, which earned you a confused look from Montgomery. “You don’t
have to say this so I feel better. It´s ok. You didn’t want to kiss me, it was
my fault that my feelings overwhelmed me, so no need to feel bad.” you rambled
looking at your hands. “Like always you don’t listen. I want to kiss you since
middle school, but you were drunk and I wasn’t sure you really wanted to kiss
me, so I pushed you away.” Your head immediately shoot up when his words had
sunken in. “You want to kiss me since middle school?” you asked surprised, a
small smile forming on your lips. “Well, yeah. Your lips look really kissable.”
He mumbled and you chuckled at his words. “Same goes to you, I guess.” You
whispered smiling at him. “Why didn’t you kiss me, when you wanted to do it
since middle school?” you asked amused, lifting an eyebrow playfully and he
rolled his eyes. “We´re friends and I didn’t want to ruin it. You´re one of the
few people who put up with my bullshit.” He whispered taking a step toward you.
“Yeah, you can count yourself lucky, de la Cruz.” You smiled at him, also
taking a step forward. He hummed approvingly, his hands wandering to your hips,
pulling your slowly closer to him, while your hands rested on his triceps,
making their way to his shoulders and then to his neck. Before you could make
another remark his lips were pressed against yours. You pulled him closer by
his neck, enjoying the kiss. It was better than that night. He gingerly bites
down on your bottom lip, which elicited a moan from you. Monty used the
opportunity to deepen the kiss, while he pulled you closer by your hips, your
hands tugging slightly at his hair. When someone cleared their throat you broke
away, panting slightly. You looked at your mother, who held an uncomfortable
smile on her lips. “Yes mom?” you asked; your cheeks flushed out of
embarrassment. “I, uhm, just wanted to bring you kids something to drink and a
snack.” She mumbled, putting the tablet down on your desk. After making her way
back to the door she looked at you with a smile on her face. “So you´re sure
he´s not your boyfriend?” she asked and you groaned in annoyance. “Bye mum.”
You said and pushed her out of the door, closing it behind her. “That was
awkward.” You said laughing. Monty nodded and walked toward you, pulling in
another kiss. This was one was much shorter, but not less sweet. Monty pulled
away, too early for your liking, smiling down at you. He leaned his forehead
against yours before asking: “So, tomorrow Monet´s after school?”
Okay you know how everybody debates who will find out the other's true identity first, well what if Chloé finds out first. Not Marinette, Adrien, Alya or Nino, unlike most speculation. HOW DO YOU THINK THAT WOULD GO DOWN?! Because on one hand, that's "her" man. And she hates Marinette. BUT On the other hand, she loves ladybug....???!!!!!
So tbh, I’ve thought about this a few times before because I, too, wonder how Chloe will face the dilemma that she idolizes Ladybug and has been mean to Marinette the entire time. If her current pattern of behavior in the show is anything to go by, my feeling is that she would deny it hardcore at first.
(This ended up being a long meta about Chloe’s character so ready or not, here we go~)
Notice in Evillustrator, when Adrien tells her they think the akumatized villain is after her, she responds like this:
“No, everybody adores me!”
Then, in Antibug, when asked if she thinks someone might have a grudge on her, she responds the same way:
“Everybody loves me!”
At first glance, Chloe may seem like she’s just full of herself. I mean, so far, the show has depicted her as a rich, snobby, stuck-up brat, right?
But wait. Look closer at these moments.
She’s not simply just a ditsy girl with no brain. I think she knows. She’s aware that people don’t like her. In the first gif there from Dark Cupid, Sabrina gets hit by a dark!arrow and turns against her. Chloe doesn’t even retaliate. She groans in what I’d argue as unsurprised acceptance. In both Dark Cupid and Antibug, the behavior Chloe shows on the outside follows the haughty assumption that Sabrina worships her. She makes demands, claims “Impossible! Sabrina adores me!” – but ultimately, even when Sabrina does turn on her, she doesn’t show any surprise. It’s almost as if she knows deep down she deserves it.
There’s an interesting podcast I heard recently on This American Life about a Chinese girl who was forced to lie to her grandma about the doctor’s projected timeline of her life. (I promise this is related.) Her grandma’s sister was told the news that the grandma had 3 months left to live. As the closest relative, the sister was free to do whatever she wanted with that information so she chose to convince the entire family to keep it a secret. However, just in case she really ended up dying, they arranged for the narrator’s uncle to push his wedding up earlier. The entire time, the narrator was stressed because she wanted to tell her grandma something so important, and several times throughout the wedding, it felt very obvious that her grandma knew what they were up to. In the end, they managed to never bring it up or talk about it at all.
Her grandma ended up living much longer than 3 months. Why? Most likely, her grandma knew. She knew her time was short on Earth, but instead of being told straight up the 3 month estimate, she kept going on with her life as is.
There are also several stories out there as well about people who know they have some sort of sickness or disease, but just refuse and keep lying to themselves about it. Sometimes, it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. The point is, lying can often be used in a beneficial way, and I think Chloe understands and does this. She may put up a front and act like she thinks everyone likes her, but I’d argue that she knows the truth. Chloe isn’t out of touch with reality, but she denies and tell herself the things that help her remain strong (and powerful). As long as she believes people love her, despite what she knows the truth to be, she will remain happy, strong, and – who knows? maybe the lie will come true. In general, I think she’s a much stronger person internally and mentally than our first glance from the outside.
So back to how she’d react if she found out Ladybug’s identity first. I think she’d deny it in a similar vein she’s done previously, because the fact that she’s been an asshole to her idol, and that her idol probably hates her, isn’t going to sit well with her. She’ll lie to herself until she’s content with the idea that Mari/Ladybug doesn’t hate her as much as those annoyed groans and angry looks show she is. Everybody adores her! Chloe will cling onto these lies – at first.
But then, unlike the illness easing up for that narrator’s grandma from This American Life, Marinette isn’t going to forgive Chloe as easily. In Mari’s eyes, there’s no proof so far that Chloe has changed. But Chloe’s behavior in the shadow of these lies will soon catch up to her. Maybe her insecurity will leak out. Maybe she’ll push Ladybug’s nerves too far. Maybe she’ll do something incredibly nasty towards Marinette as a way of confirming her own lies. Either way, at some point, maybe Chloe will go too far (see @breeeliss‘s well thought out post on that here) and Mari will snap. It’ll be so terrible that Chloe herself can’t deny how badly she’s messed up. It will take a while, but eventually, I think Chloe will start to accept that she can’t lie to herself about this one. And from there, she’ll finally decide it’s time for a change.
