This is one of the tops I got from the adorable Brittany from her sales blog, The Fat Girl’s Closet. Love the colour! And the off-the-shoulders style makes me feel like I’m in Flashdance. I kept expecting people to dump buckets of water on me anytime I sat down.

I also wore my brand new necklace. It features a creature that is both a unicorn and a pegasus or, as I like to call it, a unipeg.

Describe your personal style.

My personal style is constantly evolving and changing. But it always has a feeling of comfortable elegance, trendy meets vintage, and is always effortless and super girly.

Favorite piece of clothing?

Wow! That’s a hard question! It changes depending on the style I’m going for. I guess right now it would be this Cleopatra inspired blue sequined tunic that I posted.

What songs are on your iPod?

Right now I’m really into Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Florence and the Machine, Thievery Corporation, Avett Brothers, Mumford & Sons, and I’ve always been a huge Radiohead fan.  That’s really just skimming the top. I love music.

Where do you want to be by 2016?

I’d like to be a professional blogger, and own my own plus size clothing stores. Maybe graduate school? Who knows.

Favorite fashion blogs?

I am so in love with, along with They’ve both really helped inspire my fashion taste. I also love,,, and I feel they are really making such a huge impact on not only me, but the entire plus size fashion community.

Who is your current fashion idol?

I’ve honestly always looked up to Chanel and Sarah Jessica Parker. They have always pushed and set the limits of fashion for me. They have always been daring, and always been unapologetically themselves. I have to say I am currently in love with many of the girls from the blogs I follow, and the rock and roll yet girlish style of Beth Ditto.

What is the best piece of fashion advice?

Be bold, be true, be yourself, and never be afraid to try new things! Also, to go for your dreams, and never hold yourself back because of your size, race, gender, ability, or anything else. That goes for fashion and just for life in general.
