Would you mind telling me which drawing tablet do you have? I'm trying to buy one but don't know which one.. I would appreciate your advice.. (Pls tag my name so I can see the answer) thank you very much! :)

I have a Wacom Graphire 6x8. It’s a solid tablet, good for beginners, and a good bit cheaper than the Intuos tablets (though admittedly not as nice). I have to warn you, though, that this particular tablet is getting increasingly harder to find.

I’ve heard people complain about the quality of the pen before, but I haven’t had any issues with it (aside from dropping one from shoulder height right onto the nib once, oops). The pen nib that comes standard is solid plastic and doesn’t feel very natural, so I use the flex nibs— it’s basically a thin plastic tube with a felt center. Feels a lot more like drawing with a soft pencil or a marker.

When it comes to tablets, though, try to stick to major manufacturers like Wacom. And stay away from the really small ones, especially if your intention is to use it for drawing. The larger the useable surface area, the more natural it feels to draw on it—think about it like the difference between drawing on the back of a napkin and drawing on an 11x14 sketch pad.
