Today I drove by the Century 16 movie theater. I took a brief moment, stopped my car and looked upon the theater with a heavy heart and tremendous sadness. To say this moment was emotional would be an incredible understatement. The atmosphere was heavy with grief, pain, confusion and heartache. I felt incredibly uneasy and sick, because I was envisioning the feelings of sudden terror that ripped through the theater that night of 7/20. The feelings of sudden grief, loss and inconsolable sadness that followed—loved ones who died, innocent people killed so blindly yet so easily. So many questions left unanswered. A tear rolled down my eye. A horrifying act that reminds us life is precious, and every moment is a blessing. R.I.P Aurora theater shooting victims. Lost, but never forgotten.
