Doodle. Trying out new technique, but I honestly felt like I couldn’t experiment with colors as much as I usually do :/

He looks rather good without his marks, actually.

‘Majora’s Mask replica WIP’

This is a project I’ve been working on for a long time, and I am super proud of it. It’s made with sculpted wood and professional papier mache. The horns were sculpted with a dremel, and the heart shaped base was made with the papier mache, but because of the technique I’ve used, it’s almost as strong as wood, feels like wood, and looks like wood. The mask is totally wearable, though it is slightly hard to see through, but it’s good enough really lol. When it’s finished, I’ll be selling it for about $500 on my shop, so keep an eye out if you’d like it! It’s almost done. I just need to finish the rest of the horns. Anyways, I hope you like what you see so far. :) I’m very proud of this so far. Thank you!

So these are just a few of the things on my Etsy!
Long story short (and I hate begging for things), if I want to keep doing what I love, and that is making things, then I need money.
Everybody knows that they need money for hobbies and stuff, right?  Nothing new.

But this year, especially now that con season is here, funds are tight for my family, and we’re having to cut down on spending money.  No tickets or passes for cons, no staying at hotel rooms, not even spending more than ten bucks at Artist’s Alley, if it’s accessible.

I wanted to at least help my family out by purchasing my own stuff.  Since I don’t work, Etsy is one of my minor at-home jobs.

My shop has geeky things such as video-game related items, cute plushies, and accessories.  There are only a few things listed at the moment, but if activity increases, I’ll definitely be making more!

So at the very least, visit my page and favorite it, share it with some friends whom you think would like the merchandise, and give me some suggestions! Like, “I would like to see [insert some kind of creative item here]!”
Here is my page~

Thank you for taking the time to read.  Much love!

anonymous asked:

Are you of the opinion that Ocarina of Time is overrated? I've always found it very generic and boring, especially when compared to Majora's Mask.

Given the large following it is a bit overrated. It’s full of plot holes with time. (Nintendo does not know how time works). To me, plot holes ruin stuff for me.

However, I enjoy playing Ocarina of Time. Not my favorite, but it doesn’t deserve hate. It did give the Zelda series the attention it deserves and put it on the “gaming map”. It was the first game to allow a new form of saving (thank God).

But is it a bit overrated as people claiming it to be the best Zelda game ever and no other Zelda game compares to it? My answer: Yes.

Majora’s Mask and Skull Kid.

I’ve made two Majora’s Masks earlier this year, one commissioned by Nintendo for their PAX South Booth (they own it now), and the other for my Skull Kid costume. No two masks are the same, they’re each a one of a kind.  More shots on my FB @ Li Kovacs.
