Kimbros December 1st

Here’s a few shots I stole off the interwebs from Saturday.

We had an amazing night at Kimbros Pickin Parlor. The Granny Whites hosted a night benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank here in Nashville.

So great for Cara Fox and I to share the stage with a fabulous bunch of artists.

If you don’t know the Granny Whites, check them out they are awesome!!

I’m loving getting out and playing solo again it’s been a long time!

and as someone once said, “there’s more where that came from”!

What did you do last weekend?  If you were with The Granny Whites, then you were dancing and celebrating the human community with The Global One Foundation.

The fundraiser Saturday was held to send money directly to Kibera for food and supplies for the children as well as to pay the teachers a modest salary.

At this time the educators make $1 USD per day!

The Global One Foundation is an incredibly well organized and thoughtful LOCAL organization dedicated to helping children both in the third world and right here at home.

100% of the proceeds went directly to providing food for an ENTIRE YEAR to children who otherwise will go hungry!

Thank you to all of The Granny Whites supporters who were able to attend and support this human cause!
