What was the first spell you ever did?

Uhhh, I was like 9 and I stole my sisters book of shadows and did a calming spell to make my parents stop fighting :x (they split up 2 days later so I guess they technically stopped 😂)

Could you give advice to a person who loves seeing art but can't draw? I really want to draw, but I don't know the best place to start. Did you take lessons or did you just jump in with a pencil when you first started?

First lesson is to not compare yourself to people who already can draw. that kills ur will and determination real quick.

second, try drawing what you like, and accompany them by learning the basics on the side. that is, if you wanna take it a lil more seriously.

drawing what u like will push u into keep on drawing, but learning the basics on the side ( i recommend drawing simple objects first, observing shadow etc etc and this book Andrew Loomis - Figure Drawing For All It’s Worth ) will make it better and improve faster.

third, if you just wanna learn to draw for fun, dont think, just draw. Copy other peoples art or tracing is what usually young ppl do (as long as it’s just practice in private is ok, remember it’s an only learning tool young ppl have usually), but if u are brave, just start. For fun means u draw only to express ur need, like doodling, etc.

observation is key in learning how to draw, I was a very quiet child, I observe things a LOT, and those info helps me  to draw. Don’t just look at things based on how it looks on the surface, analyse them further- why it looks that way? why it drapes that way? why people move this way?  how the ankle works? how does that door unhinge?

it sounds a lot but start with drawing what u love, and draw simple stuff on teh side, slowly building up ur skill. u can do it :)

So...would a book of sigils be a book of shadows??

Nope. A BOS is typically a specifically Wiccan grimoire where they put their spells, rituals, traditions, rules, poetry, writings of deity… you get the picture. Sigils can be included in that. But a book of sigils is just…. a book containing sigils i guess. x)

Some non Wiccans call their book of writings a Book Of Shadows too, but it is mostly a Wiccan thing.

Hello, After SGC of prior Summer I took a page from The Completionist hand book and Completed Shadow of the colossus (which also was the 1st time i ever played it) and it moved me in some rather profound ways. So i just wanted to say, thank you for doing what you do cause you inspired me to Go beyond the Limits i thought i could do.

Congrats man!

“He tilted his head, intrigued by the thick aura of an unfathomable kind hanging about her. She smiled. Not a regular smile. Her kind of smile. The smile where the corners of her thin, peeling lips flicked upwards. The kind when he knew she was up to something. He chuckled before leaning into the pale deluge of her neck.

“Even the whitest of roses have the blackest of shadows”.“
