It’s You ~ George Weasley imagine
Hey I’m so happy you’re sticking with the blog:) could I have a George weasley imagine where you are waiting for him at the borrow with mrs Weasley while everyone from the order is out moving Harry? Xx
George’s ear injury and mentions of blood
“(Y/N), dear, please stop pacing,” Mrs. Weasley asked kindly.
You immediately stopped in your tracks. You didn’t even notice you were pacing.
“Sorry, Mrs. Weasley.” You walked over to the couch and sat down, wringing your hands worriedly.
The Order was bringing Harry to the burrow where he’d be safe from Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. So far, only Harry and Hagrid had come back.
Mrs. Weasley took a seat next to you and placed a hand over yours, giving you a sympathetic look. “I know you’re worried, dear. I am too,” she consoled.
“I just… I hope everyone’s all right,” you sighed, turning to face her. She softly placed a hand on your cheek, giving you a compassionate smile.
“All we can do is wait and-”
“Here! Quick! In the house!” shouted a sudden voice.
You and Molly both stood up and faced the entrance of the burrow.
Remus and Harry stumbled in carrying George, who was bleeding on the side of his head. They laid him down on the couch.
“Oh, my boy.” Mrs. Weasley quickly ran to his side. You immediately trailed behind.
“Georgie? God, you better not be dead,” you said, your voice starting to quiver.
“Or what, (Y/N)? You’ll kill me?” George chuckled weakly. You let out a small laugh, gently pushing his hair back.
You and George go way back. You had met him and Fred on the Hogwarts train, and ever since then, you all became inseparable. Even though you were close with Fred, you and George had something you didn’t have with anyone else.
That, and you had been harboring a crush on him for years. But, you’d never tell him that, of course.
Suddenly, Fred ran in. He kneeled down next to you in front of George. He sighed in relief to see his chest slowly rising and falling.
“How’re you feelin’, Georgie?” Fred asked, looking worriedly at his twin.
“…Saint-like,” he answered softly.
Fred furrowed his eyebrows. “Come again?”
“Saint-like… I’m hole-y, Fred. Get it?” He pointed to his bloody ear.
Fred shook his head with a smile. “The whole wide world of ear-related humor, and you go for ‘I’m hole-y.’ That’s pathetic,” he grinned.
“Reckon I’m still better looking than you,” George retaliated, getting another giggle from you.
He looked over at you and gave you a small wink, causing your cheeks to heat up.
You, George, and Mrs. Weasley were all sat at the dining table. George was getting his ear bandaged by Mrs. Weasley.
“All done, love.” Mrs. Weasley put everything back into the first aid kit.
“Thank you, mum,” George said. She placed a kiss on his cheek and left the dining room.
“How do you feel, George?” You asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“I thought we established this; I feel saint-like,”
“I mean, how does your ear feel, you arse,” you grinned, playfully smacking his shoulder.
He let out a laugh. “Okay, well, now my ear hurts AND my shoulder hurts, so thanks for that,” he teased.
“Shut it, Georgie,” you giggled. He smirked.
George stood up and stretched. “I think I might go outside. Care to join me?” He held out his arm. You rolled your eyes jokingly. “Sure,” you answered, taking his arm.
The two of you walked outside and laid down in the grass, looking up at the stars. You both started talking about random things at first, but then, the conversation got deeper and deeper.
“I was really scared, Georgie…”
“So was I. The shot was really close,” he raised a hand to his ear.
“I-I don’t know what I’d do if you died,” you breathed.
“I do; you’d be absolutely lost without me,” he teased.
“Don’t get cocky, Weasley,” you turned your head to face him.
“Oh, come on, (Y/N), you know you love me,”
Heat ran up your cheeks again, and you turned your head to the stars again. “Yeah…”
Silence began to fall between the two of you. George propped himself up on his elbow and looked down at you.
“You know you’re my best friend, right? After Fred, of course, but that’s a different, brother kind of best friend-” he began to ramble.
“Yes, Georgie, I know. What’s up?” You asked, gazing up at him.
“I-I can tell you anything, right?”
“… Of course,”
“Okay… Well… There’s this girl…” he started. You felt your heart sink.
“A girl, huh?” You responded sadly, sitting up so that you were at the same level as George.
“Yeah. I’ve known her for a really long time and Ive had really strong feelings for her for a while and I…”
George turned to face you. He gazed into your eyes, and you did the same. You saw his eyes flicker down to your lips before gazing at you again.
“Bloody hell, (Y/N).”
And with that, George cupped your face and slammed his lips into yours. Your eyes became wide for a moment, but you melted into the kiss.
His hands moved from your face to your waist, placing them on your lower back in an attempt to pull you closer. The kiss was deep and intense. You opened your mouth to catch your breath, which allowed George to slowly slip his tongue in, causing you to melt once more.
This snogging session lasted for what seemed like forever. The kiss finally broke when you had tried to run your fingers through George’s hair and accidentally pressed against his injured ear, causing him to wince.
“Sorry, Georgie,” you giggled.
“Don’t worry about it, love… Wow…” he breathed, gazing into your eyes once more.
“What?” you blushed.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he smiled, intertwining his fingers in yours.
“Wait, so I’m the girl you’ve had strong feelings for?!” You said sarcastically.
“Absolutely not,” he joked back. He pulled you back in for another kiss. This time, much softer and sweeter.
