Tips for new daddies!

Hey! So, I’ve decided to compile a list of things for new daddys/doms. This list is for daddy’s with littles (age regressors). If there is anything you feel I’ve left out, feel free to let me know!

-They’re your little, make them feel like one. She/he is going to want to be in little space, so let them. Help them into it. A simple phrase gets my little into little space, so find out what works best for them.

-Establish rules. Try not to get over 20 rules, cause they can get hard to remember after a while. My little personally has 27, but some of our rules are common sense, so she remembers them easily. Be on the lookout for a rules list next.

-Be supportive of them. If you’re both new, they may want to experiment with pacis, bottles, sippy cups, diapers, etc. Make sure the both of you talk it out and be there for them. Even if they are experienced in dd/lg and knows what they want, never ignore them. Be there and be supportive.

-Punish bad behavior. I know, I know. You love them and don’t want to make them sad/upset. But trust me, when they start acting up in public and embarrassing you, you’re gonna wish you had started punishing them.

-Take care of them. If you’re not in a LDR, this is a little easier. If you live together, tuck them in, or make meals, bathe them (with her permission), read them bedtime stories, and other small things to keep them in good health. If you are in a LDR, you can still read bedtime stories over FaceTime/skype, make sure they’re eating well, make them study, etc.

-Know their stuffies names.  I cannot stress this enough. It seems like a small task, but it means so much to them that you remember their names. It also means a lot to the stuffies if you know their names (they also are very nice to you if you remember their names and dont put bad idea in your littles head as they often do)

-Know a few cute nicknames. Underrated, but my little loves cute nicknames. Princess, baby girl, kitten, little one, little girl, etc.

-Find your ‘daddy voice’. It’s your strict, ‘you better stop it right now’ voice that you use on your little when they’re breaking a rule, or doing something bad. It works wonders.

-Don’t be afraid to be their daddy in public. I’m not saying to make them call you daddy in front of other people (don’t do that. the people around you didn’t ask for you to expose your kink to them) but if she’s with friends and you hear her curse, you can look at her and raise your eyebrows. She’ll get the point. I tend to tap her on the butt as a warning, but if she does it more than once, ill whisper in her ear something like ‘princesses don’t curse like that. Timeout for you later’.

-Know their little space triggers. There isn’t much I can say about that, other than to just know what puts her in little space.

-Have fun! Don’t let the haters drag you down, cause I know there are a ton of them out there. Enjoy your awesome relationship.

LETS

CAN WE JUST HAVE A MOMENT TO TRULY APPRECIATE JUMIN HAN.

This boy is precious. Not just when he’s in a romance, either. No matter how tsun-tsun he is about how he doesn’t really care it’s a stRAIGHT UP LIE.

He doles out paid bodyguards to every member of the RFA at the drop of a hat every time they’re in any kind of danger at all. He’ll send his drivers out for people if they need something and not even snark about it.

When Zen is self destructing and Jumin is hurt and angry with Zen’s behavior and insistence on a rivalry he’s not interested in, he still goes out of his way to protect and help Zen, shields his privacy, bends his rules, and even hunts Zen down to help him out of his funk.

He is protective of the MC even when he’s not in love with her, and asks her to call him at any time if she needs anything.

If you regularly call the characters because you have all the call cards… do you know who answers the most and at the most random times? It’s not your routemate. It’s not Zen who adores you regardless.

It’s Jumin.

Call him at 3 in the morning. He’ll answer while he’s doing paperwork. Call him in the middle of the day and he’ll complain to you about the work he’s stuck doing. Call him when he’s gone away to his quiet place to get away from everyone else and all the noise, and he’ll still talk to you. HIT ON HIM LIKE THE THIRSTIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD and he’ll just politely brush it off and keep chatting with you.

He never says “I’m too busy to talk to you stop calling”, he’ll just do his business while talking to you between it. You don’t have to pry into his heart to befriend him, he’ll cheerily suggest you join him in teasing Zen when he barely knows you. He’ll also offer to let you meet Elizabeth when you’re practically perfect strangers

This dude doesn’t know the MC on most routes. He has no reason to humor her about anything not to do with the RFA. He claims he doesn’t like chit-chat. He still answers her and entertains her.

He doesn’t approve of Yoosung’s behavior at all and is disappointed completely and yet he is earnestly willing to give Yoosung a job at his business as soon as Yoosung is out of college. Zen keeps rebuffing him coldly without explanation and yet he’s absolutely willing to prop Zen back up again and use all of his connections to help Zen reach stardom if Zen would just let him.

AND WHEN YOU’RE ON HIS ROUTE.

there’s almost no time he won’t answer the MC. Even when he won’t answer ANYONE he’ll almost always answer the MC’s calls. He’ll call just to hear her voice and admit to not knowing what to say. She practically only has to ask him to do something and he’ll relent immediately.

And while he’s paranoid in his route, keep in mind the MC is actually the safest of all routes. Because for all of his paranoia he’s literally actually protecting her from dangers all the other RFA fail to.

AND

AND

As dedicated as Zen is, as much as he professes endless love for the MC, as much as he says he cares more about his love than his career, there is no time in which he chooses the MC over his career. There is no timeline where he abandons acting so he can be with her. There’s not even a timeline where he refuses to hide her even though it will stall his acting career. Even in the good ending where he reveals her, he later signs a contract that says he needs to keep the MC on the downlow and not be seen with her in public. Again, even in the ending where the MC is emotionally and verbally abusive to him and he just bows his head and takes it because he needs to be with her, he is still acting. He hasn’t even quit acting with female leads that make her jealous!

Jumin, on the other hand, will literally just quit his ludicrously expensive job without the MC so much as whispering a suggestion of it. He just wants to be with the MC more, and he’s sick of his job interfering. And in the ending where he doesn’t do that, he announces her publicly, marries her publicly, and gets angry with his work when it forces him to be away from her too long.

He runs himself so ragged forcing and slamming through his work in time to get home for Valentines day that he practically collapses from exhaustion once he gets there.

Zen might make fun of him for being so sure that he’s dedicated to the MC more than anyone else…

but boy

that’s because

Jumin is.

He’ll give up Elizabeth for the MC if she asks. He’ll keep Elizabeth if the MC asks him to. When he’s out working, all he thinks about is the MC and everything he sees reminds him of the MC.

He will worry excessively over everyone in RFA, MC included, even when he’s not in love with her. He’ll tut and play father role for Yoosung and for MC (spamming the chat with “I don’t agree with two people living together unmarried” in Zen’s route), he’ll worry over Seven and support him even when he’s savagely smacking him down over Elizabeth.

He gives Yoosung a reward when Yoosung doesn’t expect one!!

He’s SAVAGE

He’ll just keep making jokes and stupid puns until someone (usually MC) laughs about it and have no shame

HE READS THE MC A BED TIME STORY

you know, i like to think of those times when isak and even eat lunch together in the cafeteria and then they have afternoon classes, and isak has biology and he always arrives earlier so he can go over his readings, the room is empty and it’s easier to concentrate. and isak sits right there at the back of the class, next to the window. and even sits by the window as isak takes out a textbook from his backpack. and it’s spring and it’s a sunny day and even looks outside and thinks of what they could do after class. go for a walk, go to the park maybe. because yes, even loves swings and once he grabbed isak’s hand and told him, “we’re going swinging” and isak whined but still followed him, smiled when even sat on the swing and said “let’s go!” as he slowly started to rock back and forth. and maybe they’ll grab burgers and eat them on a bench outside, and even will take off the ketchup on the corner of isak’s lips with one of his fries, grin at him before shoving it in his mouth. today is bright and beautiful, and even thinks it has that in common with isak

and even turns around and looks at isak, his feet barely dangling above the floor, and he tells him “come here” and isak is still looking down at his textbook, and he’s got a small smile on his face as he says “hold on, i’m done with this section in a minute”. and when he is, he stands up and rests his hands on even’s thighs, settles between them. and even strokes isak’s nose with his, his mouth ghosting over isak’s and isak’s hands go up and up until they’re gently grabbing even’s face. and their lips touch as students come in, and then sana arrives and sits at her seat, the one next to isak’s and she’s clearing her throat, twice, and that’s when isak finally turns around, a slightly annoyed look on his face until he notices that it’s sana

and isak and even both say hey, smile on their face and in their voice and sana asks even how he’s doing today, and he tells her he’s doing well. and isak asks “don’t you wanna know how i, the best biology partner you’ll ever have, am doing?” and sana shakes her head and says “we have the whole class ahead of us isak, but even has to go because class starts in…” she looks at her watch and adds “four minutes” and even’s eyes widen a little and he grabs his backpack and he kisses isak’s cheek quickly and tells sana “it was nice seeing you sana, have a nice day. let’s all grab lunch together soon, okay?” and sana smiles and nods. and even is out of the classroom. and looking at sana as she opens her notebook, isak feels thankful to have her as a friend. and when he quickly glances outside the window right before class starts, he also thinks that it’s a bright and beautiful day today, and that he can’t wait to spend the rest of it with even

Guys, I have so much to tell you about Will Roland

I may die penniless, unwed, and forgotten, but I will still die happy because I spent four hours of one long-ago summer in a song interpretation master class taught by Will Roland.

I don’t even know where to BEGIN. To quote Rachel Bay Jones, Will…*bursts into laughter* oh my God, there’s so much Will.

Ramblings about Will Roland under the cut. This is my day with Will Roland.

Unheard Confessions

Pairing: Jughead Jones x Reader

Description: Everyday (Y/N) confesses her feelings for Jughead but they’re never heard

Warnings: one swear word

Word count: 1,201

A/N: ahh everyone thank you so much for all the kind responses to my first imagine!! hope you enjoy!

We sat in our usual booth at Pop’s: him feverishly writing his story and me staring at him as smitten as can be.

“Jughead?” I asked, glancing at the raven-haired boy sitting across from me.

“Hmm?” he hummed, eyes remaining glued to the laptop screen.

“I just… I wanted to,” I paused for a moment, taking a deep breath in.  “I know we’ve been friends for a while and that’s great, I love being your friend, but sometimes I just think that… I don’t know, sometimes I want to be more.”  He remained quiet, so I continued, “And if you don’t feel the same that’s okay, I don’t want anything to ruin our friendship.”  I let out a big sigh and looked up at Jughead.  He was still staring at his laptop.  “Jughead!” I exclaimed, causing him to jump slightly.

“What?” he asked. My eyes widened.

“Did you not hear anything I just said?” I inquired.  Jughead’s eyebrows rose and he bit his lip, breaking eye contact with me.

“I’m sorry, I was just really invested in my story,” he apologized.  I sighed and shrugged, standing up.

“It’s fine, Jug, it wasn’t anything important,” I assured him, grabbing my bag.  “I’m gonna head home, I have to work on my homework.” He nodded and waved as I turned around and exited Pop’s.  “Oh god,” I muttered under my breath as I walked home, rubbing my temples.

Two days later, I found myself in the same position: Jughead furiously typing and me preparing to confess my feelings.

“Jughead, I need to talk to you,” I said, more demandingly than last time.  Jughead looked up from his laptop and nodded.

“Go ahead,” he said, then looked back down at his screen.

“I-” Before I could start, Betty approached our table.

“Hey guys!” she greeted.  I smiled, whereas Jughead kept his head down.  “Could I sit here with you guys?”

“Uh, yeah, of course,” I replied, scooching over so she could sit next to me.  She smiled gratefully as she slid into the booth.

“Thanks, (Y/N).  So what were you guys talking about before I interrupted?”  I bit my lip.  Betty knew about my big crush on Jughead, all of our friends knew.  I glanced at her and she nodded, understanding what I was trying to do.  “Do you want me to leave?” she whispered.  I shook my head.

“No, no, you can stay. Please, actually, I need the moral support.”  She nodded and sat back in the booth.  I sucked in a deep breath and started over, “So, Jughead, as I was trying to say before, we’ve been friends for so long.  But I like you.  I’ve liked you for a while, and I even tried to tell you a few days ago but you didn’t hear me.  I just needed to tell you, and if you don’t feel the same that’s fine.  Just, please, I want to at least stay friends with you no matter what.”  Betty looked at me with a proud smile, subtly sending me a thumbs up.  Smiling back at her, I turned to face Jughead.

“Jughead?” Betty asked, glancing between me and him.  “Did you just hear what (Y/N) said?”

“Huh?” Jughead breathed, looking between me and Betty.  “Betty, when’d you join us?”  Betty and I exchanged a shocked glance, our eyes wide and mouths agape.  “What?”

“I’ve been here for five minutes,” Betty said, her voice sharp.  “Did you not hear anything (Y/N) or I said?”

“Oh,” Jughead sighed. “I did it again.  I’m sorry, (Y/N).  What were you trying to say?”

Betty started, “She was trying to tell you that she-”

“Has cheerleading practice tomorrow,” I interrupted Betty.  “I have cheerleading practice tomorrow, and it’s gonna go pretty late, so I can’t meet you here tomorrow.”  Betty cast me a disapproving glare, but softened when I looked at her sadly. Jughead, although usually clever and observant, did not notice this exchange.

“Okay,” he said, “that’s fine.  You’ll still meet me here on Saturday though, right?”  I bit my lip, contemplating making up an excuse.  Quickly, I looked to Betty for approval.  She subtly nodded.

“Yeah of course,” I agreed cheerily.  “Saturday.” Jughead smiled and nodded.  I stood up and Betty followed suit, and we both exited the diner.  Once we got outside, Betty stopped and turned to look at me.

“What was that?” she whisper-yelled.

“I don’t know,” I groaned. “It happened on Tuesday, too.  He never seems to hear me.”

“But you’re gonna try again, though,” she said.  “Right?”

“I- I don’t know,” I sighed, and began walking.  Betty followed suit.  “I guess I’ll try again, but I don’t know, maybe it’s not meant to be.”

“Not meant to be?” Betty repeated.  “(Y/N), you and Jughead are, as Kevin likes to say, endgame!”  I laughed at the terminology and shrugged, unable to think of a reply.  “Please try, at least one more time.”

I assured her, “I’ll try.”

Two weeks later, I stood at my locker with Veronica and Betty.  Angrily, I slammed my locker closed and then leaned up against it.

“It’s pointless!” I groaned, lightly banging my head against the locker.  “For two weeks I’ve tried, two whole weeks!  Every day, I go into Pop’s and tell myself, ‘This is the day.’ Then I sit with him, build up the courage, and I tell him.  And every day, he doesn’t hear me.  Every fucking day!”  Veronica and Betty both shook their heads.

“I can’t believe him,” Veronica seethed.  “That’s ridiculous, he has to have heard you at least once.  He’s not deaf.”  Betty nodded in agreement.

“Just try talking to him without his laptop,” Betty suggested.  “Make sure that he has no distractions, just you and him.”

“Thank you,” I smiled. “I’ll definitely do that tonight at Pop’s.”

“Why do it tonight,” Veronica drawled, looking past me, “when you can do it now?”  I turned around to see Jughead down the hallway.

“Oh no,” I whined.  “Not now, not here.”

Ignoring my objections, Veronica called out, “Jughead!”  He looked at us and nodded, walking over to where we stood.

“Hey,” he greeted, leaning against the lockers next to me.

“Hi,” I smiled, twiddling with my fingers.  Betty and Veronica exchanged smirks and edged away from us, still remaining within earshot. “Listen, I’ve been meaning to tell you something for a while and-”

“I know,” Jughead interrupted me.  “And I never hear you.  I know, I’m sorry.”  I nodded, licking my lips.

“Yeah, it’s okay, I just feel like I should tell you now, while I know I have your attention.” Jughead laughed lightly.  “I… I like you, Jughead.  More than friends.”  Jughead’s eyes widened and I stopped.  Every time he remained quiet at Pop’s I kept going, but now I stopped, not knowing how to continue.

“You like me?” he asked. “And you’ve been trying to tell me for two weeks?”

“Yeah,” I nodded.  He rubbed his face.

“Jesus,” he sighed.  “I’m an ass.”

“No, you’re not,” I told him.  “I just- if you don’t feel the same way it’s fine, but please don’t let this ruin our friendship.  I couldn’t live with myself if-”

“(Y/N),” he interrupted again, “I like you, too.”

[Reader’s POV]

Comfort. That is all you’re feeling right now. It was one of your favorite feelings. Sadly you couldn’t stay in bed forever which you wished that it was possible. It was unlikely due to the responsibilities you have. This one morning you don’t want to move at all. Your body ached and was sore from training and a night with Peter.

“baby girl, you have to get up..” Peter’s voice making you stir in your peaceful slumber.Your body being shaken lightly.

“Five more minutes…” I mumbled snuggling against the warmth he body produced. He felt so warm and cozy. The warmth lulling you back to sleep. You gladly welcomed sleep till Peter opens his mouth again.

“You have been saying that every time I try and wake you up” his chest moves as he laughs.

“shhhh, just stay with me and we can make up a practice session later.. Please Peter, I’ll make it up to you if you stay with me all day today..”  Your leg moving up to his waist pulling him closer. A whimper slips out as you feel how hard he is. You look up to see his eyes a shade darker. His eyes gazing at your lips, his tongue darting out quickly. His lips crash down onto yours in a passionate kiss pulling your body against his.

“darling, fuck” he groans gripping onto your ass tighter. You slowly push your hips again creating a needy friction. The tight grip he had on you made you moan in his ear.

“P-Peter “ you gasp out as his lips leave a path down your neck. The feeling making your eyes flutter shut. You straddle him feeling his cock press against your clothed core. A whimper escaped your lips as you pressed your hips against his. The rocking motion earns you a slap to your ass. His hand coming down against your ass each time you moved your hips.

“god your ass is so red” he moans gripping your tingling cheek in his hand. His hot breath fans across your neck making you shiver. You begin sucking on the base of his neck. A moan slips from Peter’s lips as you turn his skin red.

“You’re so sinful it could bring a holy man to his knees… and you darling always bring me to mine” He tears your panties off causing you to frown.

Stupid Spider strength..

“Peterrrr those were my favorite” I pout rolling us over and pushing him off of the bed. A thud signalling he fell onto the floor. His head pops up from the edge of your bed making you laugh. His curls messy making him look cute and sexy.

“I’ll buy you new ones babe” he laughs standing up walking away. Sitting up on my elbows I look at him heading to the door. Is he seriously going to leave you here?

“You’re just going to wake me up, tease me then leave?” My voice coming out flustered. He closes the door locking it ,seeing that made your eyebrow raise. A smirk appears on his lips as he slips off his sweat pants. His Calvin Kleins showing a print of how hard he really was.

“Karen turn on the Don’t Bother Us Program, then you can turn back on when I say so” Peter speaks to the ceiling.

Your sleeping quarters at the Avengers HQ was styled like an apartment so you and Peter could feel at home. A fancy apartment but it still reminded you of Queens. Tony had windows project sounds and views so it was practically a home away from home.

“Turning on Don’t Bother Us Program, engaging soundproof walls, be safe you two” Karen’s voice then turns off. You hear a beep signaling she was offline.

“You think I was just going to walk out of here to practice, rock hard and leave my girl flustered?” His voice getting lower as his strides bring him to the edge of the bed.Peter’s figure radiated dominance as he looks down at you.

“I-I” You were the stuttering one now. Peter is the one to normally stutter but once in the bedroom hes completely different. It was a good different.

“I told you that you could bring a man to his knees, that only man will be me” Peter’s hands grip your thighs pulling you to the edge.My skin felt like heat and fire under his palms. Your chest rising and falling slowly. He spreads your legs lowering himself down to his knees. The eye contact between you two not breaking at all.

“P-Peter..” his name coming out as a gasp. Feeling his tongue slowly licking between your folds. His thumb starts rubbing your clit in small circles. A loud moan comes out from the sensation. His thumb is then replaced by his tongue as he inserts fingers inside of you. Your nails dig into the sheets as you look down at him pleasing you.

“C’mon babygirl, tell me what you want” His hot breath fanning across your core.

Feeling your stomach tightening as his tongue flicks faster. Arching your back as the pleasure travels in your body. He slid another finger in as your thoughts started jumbling together. Curling his fingers inside you hitting your g-spot when he makes a come hither motion.

“M-more please , I want your cock inside me Peter” you beg as your legs started to twitch. Desperation clear in your voice. The look in his eyes making you on the edge about to cum.

Flicking his free wrist his web shooter expands onto his hand. A web pinning both your hands to the headboard. His chest rose and fell quicker as he gazed at your body. You looked helpless tied up to the headboard. A groan coming from him as you spread your legs , inviting him to you. You wanted him more than ever.

“How bad do you need it” He smirks crawling onto the bed. Your eyes screwed shut while his hand slid up your legs. His hips lowering down towards where you needed him most.

“S-so bad Peter, please baby” you manage to moan out as his lips pressing kisses in between your breasts. Slowly moving back up to your neck. You gasp as he slams into you without warning. The feeling of him inside you causes you to bite our lip.

Peter’s lets out a low moan tilting his head back. All you wanted to do was to touch him but you were restrained. Peter’s hands dug into your hips as his pace started to pick up. Uncontrollable moans came out of your mouth. He filled you up just right making you pant out his name.

Peter!”

“Look at how your tits bounce as I fuck you” His head tilting back, his veins in his neck showing. Holy fuck. You feel his hands move as he angles your hips up. The new angle making a loud moan come out,he went even deeper hitting the right spot. Grunts coming from him as he continued to pound into your dripping pussy. Thank god for the sound proof walls, you were loud when it came to expressing the pleasure you received. Peter loved hearing you thats why he had the system installed.

“P-Peter untie me please I w-want to touch you” your voice coming out as a whisper. You felt out of breath as you looked down. Watching as he filled you up with each thrust.

“I love seeing you like this “ he whispers running his finger down your chest and down your body. Your breath hitching in your throat.

“Under my control, only I can give you pleasure like this..” he whispers as his thrust becoming slower. Panting you try to rip his webs apart with your nails. All you want to do is touch him and run your fingers through his soft curls.

“You can’t get away from me,you wanna know why?” he grins cockily. Bastard knows his new web formula is tougher. His body gets closer to you if that’s even possible. Feeling your hands become free your hand grips onto his curls. The other scratching down his back. He hisses from the pain as your nails dig into his skin.

“Cause you’re my girl” his hand cups your cheek as he thrusts into you harder causing your head to hit the headboard.

“You’re mine, you got that princess?” His hips slam into you harder and harder. Nodding as a reply you keep eye contact with him. The pleasure feeling so intense you felt like you were going to burst.

Peter tugs on your hair letting out a low growl. “Let me hear that pretty voice, answer me” he demands kissing your jaw in fiery kisses.

“I’m y-yours Peter, please let me cum” your moans and whimpers filled the air as he reached between you rubbing your clit in fast circles.

“C’mon darling, cum for me cum all over my cock” Moans come out of his mouth as his thrusts start to get sloppy. The stamina he had in him had you breathless. Your orgasm causes you to hold tightly onto Peter. Your legs trembling as it coursed through you. Him filling you with his load shortly after, collapsing on top of your body.

Peter rolls over pulling your body next to his. Your chest was falling up and down. Both of you were panting trying to catch your breath. Your body could just melt into the mattress, exhaustion taking over you.

“Karen, please start the shower and play some AC/DC for me” Peter speaks up a bit due to his voice being shaky from his breathing.

Turning on the shower, Peter you lasted a lot longer than you did the last time should we mark it as your new record?” Karen asks waiting for a response.

He was keeping track of how long he could last?

Peter Benjamin Parker” you sit up looking at your boyfriend. His cheeks turning pink as he sits up.

“Babygirl I-“

“You’re seriously keeping track?” You laugh placing your head in your hands. He is such a dork.

“Y-You’re not mad?” He questions tilting your chin up.

“Now I want to see how fast I can make you cum and start my own record” you grin sitting up heading toward the bathroom.

“I already have a record for how fast I can” Peter stands crossing his arms over his chest with a grin.

“Looks like I have to beat you, next time who ever loses has to clean the training rooms next week” you challenge looking back at him.

“Oh it’s so on, you’re going to cum and beg for me like always” he lifts you over his shoulder towards the shower.

“PETER!” You scream out as he starts to tickle your sides. From serious to childish, what a catch.

Peter is sweet in the street but a freak in the sheets.©

at five years old you know what the word means. it’s dirty, it’s bad, you’re too young to know. other kids use it as a curse word when adults can’t hear them.

when you’re nine, two women move in across the street. one of them has a shaved head. you’re sitting at the dinner table when your neighbour’s father uses the word “dyke” with a lowered voice.

you’re eleven and a new girl has joined your theatre group. you want to be around her all the time. a year later she leaves and you feel disappointed and sad without really knowing why.

at fifteen you’re at a church camp and a girl asks the priest why gay people can’t get married. he says: “we have to draw the line somewhere. some people would like to marry animals.”

six months later you’re looking at a friend of yours with butterflies in your stomach, and all of a sudden it just hits you. you have a crush on her. you have a crush on a girl.

at sixteen you try to say the word. you say to yourself: “i’m a lesbian.” you feel dirty and cry in the bathroom two hours later.

at seventeen you hold hands with a boy. he says to you: “you don’t want to be with girls like that.” he touches your cheek but it feels wrong.

when you’re eighteen you fall in love with a girl who has pale blue eyes and the most beautiful laugh. she calls you an angel but a year later she introduces you to her boyfriend at a house party. you want to cry but you can’t.

at nineteen you try to say the word again. it still gets stuck in your throat but you do it anyway. you tell your friends and they say they are proud of you. and you cry, not because you feel dirty, but because you feel okay.

—  the word “lesbian” has always been something people spit out in disgust

My dad really loves using su to create new Dad Jokes TM and his latest phase is Padparadscha.

For instance, he’ll look outside at the rain and say in this high-pitched voice, “I predict it’s going to rain!”

My personal favorite is when my mom disagrees with him about something and he says a moment later, in his Padparadscha voice, “I’ve just had a vision: your mother will disagree with me!”

For some reason she laughs at this. Every. Single. Time.

This has been happening all day.

Y/N couldn’t keep her lips from forming into a smirk as she saw Derek’s picture appear on her phone. She had just moved back to Beacon Hills earlier today into her new apartment. She had spent most of the day unpacking her boxes, and was already in bed watching a movie on her laptop. She quickly swiped her thumb across the phone and answered. “Hello, stranger. It’s after midnight. No guy ever calls a girl after midnight except for one-"

"Y/N…” Derek interrupted followed by a loud growl. Y/N could hear Derek’s heartbeat going crazy and his labored breathing. What caught her attention was hearing another heartbeat. “I need you."

His voice was filled with worry, which caused Y/N to sit up straight in her bed alarmed. "Derek, where are you?”

“I don’t know…” he whispered unexpectedly. He no longer sounded like he was in pain or fighting against someone. He now sounded weak and hurt.

“Derek, I need you to talk to me. What do you see?” She asked as she quickly got out of bed to get dressed.

“I can’t… see anything…” he mumbled. She rushed as she heard his heartbeat getting weaker by the second.

She swallowed hard as she closed her eyes, letting a tear fall down her cheek. She was absolutely terrified for him. “Derek… I’m going to come and get you, okay? But I need to call Stiles to help me. Can you answer the phone if I call you back?”

“My phone… is going to die…”

“Fuck!” She whispered to herself. She put on her shoes as an idea crossed her mind. “After you hang up with me, turn off your phone and save the battery for about 10 minutes. That’ll be about the time it will take me to get to Stiles’ office at the police station. I’ll call you back but you have to answer, okay?”

“O… kay…” he mumbled weakly.

“Derek?” Her voice trembled. He hummed a small ‘yes’. “Please answer the phone."

"I promise,” he said before he hung up and turned off his phone like he was told to do.

Y/N grabbed her keys before rushing to her car. Her fingers trembled as she dialed Stiles’ number. For some strange reason a flashback flooded her mind to the first time she went to Stiles for help with Derek.

Hey! If you're still taking prompts, could you write about neil and Andrew having a conversation about Neil's past? Like the stuff he had to do to survive and the stuff he went through with the worlds shittiest parents? Also I'm pretty sure neil has killed people like it makes complete sense so maybe andreil talking about that?

There’s a band of pale blue light nipping at the tops of the trees and sharpening the silhouettes of the houses, but everything else is fresh and dark. Andrew smokes with the pack clenched in his fist, the cherry of the cigarette winking at the street lamps winking at the orange moon.

Their front porch isn’t like the rush of the rooftop, but he can get that same jitter of fear from Neil nowadays, and he’s more portable. He’d left him knotted in the bedsheets an hour ago, and knowing he’s inside somewhere at his back is burning him up. Andrew inhales and focuses on the exhale, the way the smoke still tries to hurt him when it should’ve given up. He likes that nicotine doesn’t leave him alone.

Neil slips out the front door and lets the screen door clatter, and Andrew knows that he’s upset before he sits down two steps below Andrew, holding his own head.

He doesn’t ask; just smokes fervently. The moon bobs its head sympathetically, wind catches the smoke and breaks it over Neil’s head like water on rocks.

It occurs to Andrew that Neil isn’t going to start this conversation, because he likes to think things through on his own, solve them wrong, and tell Andrew about his mistakes later. He’s insufferably convinced of his own problem-solving abilities, then obsessed with the mechanism of his own missteps.

“What?” Andrew asks impatiently. He flicks ash from his cigarette and holds it out in front of Neil’s face. Neil sidles through his own tangled thinking for long enough to glance up. He leans forward and sucks the smoke from between Andrew’s fingers.

When he looks away, gusting smoke from his open mouth, he says, “Matt called. We fought.”

You fought,” Andrew guesses.

Neil looks agitated, blue in the choked light, eyes black and furious. “He was being unfair. He keeps trying to tell me what’s right or wrong lately, because he thinks I’ve been— been deprived, like my experiences were outside of humanity, or morality, and it’s so— condescending.”

“You’re only realizing this now? All of the foxes are condescending. It is the only way they can avoid their own failure.”

“This was different,” Neil says, shaking his head. “I can tell when they’re saying things because they want to see my reaction, and this wasn’t that. He meant what he was saying.”

“And what was that?”

Neil goes gagged silent. He shifts backwards up to Andrew’s stair without looking at him, settling into the groove worn into the wood.

“That killing someone makes you a monster. That murder is the worst thing you can do to a person.”

Hickeys

Pairing: Peter Parker (Spiderman) x Reader

GIF Credit: ^^^

Warnings: Mentions of sex, hICKEYS

Rating: PG-13

A/N: Dude, Petey is seriously the cutest, also, this is a little short. “Anon: the Avengers thinking someone really hurt Peter because he has bruises on his neck/going onto chest and interrogating him who they need to kill until he cracks that they’re just hicKEYS HE’S OK REALLY GUYS then realizing what it is and reader walks in and smugly kisses his cheek and FLUSTERED PETEY?

Peter sat calmly on the Avengers shared couch in the common room. Today was a good day for him. Not too much homework since it was the first day of summer break. Also, last night was an amazing night with you; and by amazing, he means, neither of you got much sleep. Both of you woke up, sore but tangled in each other’s arms, smiling. He didn’t mind your morning breath and it showed as once again, he made you writhe and moan under him.

The one thing that distracted him was the massive amount of hickeys all over his chest and neck. It’s not like you were any better, but a lot of the hickeys on you were in places only he could see, places that were his. You had taken the liberty to mark him everywhere. It made him nervous. Aunt May and found out the hard way that Peter and you were intimate. The Avengers, hell, they didn’t even know you two were dating. So Peter wore a sweatshirt, despite it being almost 90 degrees.

Peter’s strange attire didn’t pass by Steve or Tony. “What do you think those are? Bruises?” Steve asked. Tony just looked grim, nodding. “Should we talk to him? I know he gets bullied at school.” Tony nodded again. Both of them walked over to Peter, sitting down on either side of him. Peter looked at them, confused and worried. Steve put his hand on Peter’s shoulder. “Bud, have you been beaten up?”

You can in through the door behind the couch and neither of them looked at you. When you heard Steve’s question, you smirked, you had to hear this.

Peter looked confused. “What do you mean?”

“The bruises,” Steve says, rubbing his shoulder. Peter’s face turned red and he looked incredibly embarrassed, almost as embarrassed as when May walked in on you two one night. He rubbed the back of his neck.

“I love you,” Dean says. Cas inhales sharply on the other end of the line. “And I don’t have any bad news to follow that up with.”

“I–” Cas says. “What?”

“Getting real tired of people telling me that just to soften the blow,” Dean says. He hangs up, heart racing.

A/N: i was forced at gunpoint tonight to write a s4 drabble about bellarke realizing how the other feels about them. Rated T. WC: 1455.

It’s quiet.

Somehow, quiet is always around Bellamy. It’s like he wears it on his shoulders, along with all the pain and hurt and guilt. She doesn’t know if he’s even aware he projects it. All she knows is when she’s sitting with him like she is tonight, sorting meat packages into piles for storage for Alpha Station’s five years weathering out the storm, everything just feels calmer.

“Pass me the checklist,” Bellamy rumbles, nudging her hand with his. It’s the first thing either of them have said for the past half hour.

She obliges, and he squints at it.

“We’ve got to sort those.” He points. Clarke glances around. “Into different kinds of meat. We forgot to do that.”

“Then we have to do it again,” she exhales, and rakes a hand through her hair, nails digging into her own scalp. That will take another twenty minutes at least. Heavy frustration washes over her in a wave. There’s too much to do. Too many small details to iron out. “There’s not enough time.”

She hears him taking a deep breath— it’s no secret that they’re both counting down the minutes. But when he speaks, his voice is even. “There’ll be plenty of time soon enough. Five years, to be exact.”

She looks up, finds him watching her, dark eyes unreadable, and nods, her throat still feeling tight.

They resume sorting, but this time, it’s his shoulders that are drawn tight, and Clarke feels terrible right then for reminding him how little time they had, as if he weren’t already thinking about it every moment of the day. She scrambles for something to say to distract him. “What do you think you’ll do?”

Bellamy looks up, quirks up a brow.

She clarifies. “What do you think you’ll do with those five years?”

i have thought long and hard about what demons would be to people with mental illness; we who are used to referring to our own brains as filled with darkness.

the girl who is in the haunted room and loves it. it’s quiet there, where others won’t tread. they leave her alone to paint and to read and they ask her: doesn’t it scare you to be in such a sad place? and she says - is it sad? it doesn’t feel different than usual here.

the boys who go to kiss each other in hotel surrounded in snow. when the voices start one teaches the other the art of ignoring hallucinations; something he had to force down since his diagnosis at seventeen. and the voices scream but there is loud music and his lips are candy.

a demon in the shadows, but paranoia isn’t unfamiliar to the one it stalks. the teenager just closes their eyes and says that tomorrow will come. and who cares if it doesn’t, really, which sort of takes the sting out of the threat they’re facing.

her ocd means she never leaves the oven accidentally on. when weird things happen she takes control of them. the last time she had pasta for dinner she summoned the antichrist that’s living in her attic. the next day she has scrubbed every corner with holy water except for a little corner that she fills with pasta. if it’s contained, she knows where it is. the salt line around it never slips.

the ghost tells him to die already, but that’s nothing new, so he just turns on parks and rec a lot louder than usual.

it would be nice, i think. to see ourselves as heroes for once. for the skills we learned while dealing with this to become skills we could use in the real life. these internal strengths that rarely are spoken of; the quiet victories of lives who learn how to fashion normal from nothing. the thing is that the illness isn’t pretty but the people who go through it are incredible humans.

the strength of someone who is used to whiplash, who falls from mania into a sudden depression they can’t shake - their dogged promise to themselves that it’s going to be okay. the strength to eat when one’s body wants to deplete itself. the strength of someone who is constantly talking down suicide beating the demon because, no thank you, i’m not going to go to a bridge and jump, it’s cold outside.

because we are used to the fight. to the darkness close. to living with demons. and we are used to saying “no”.

On the Social Dimension of Disability: “I don’t think of you that way.”

I can’t count the amount of people who have said some variation of “I don’t think of you that way” when it comes up that I’m disabled.

Disability (n.):  a physical or mental condition that limits a person’s movements, senses, or activities.

I have permanent paralysis in my shoulder, arm, and hand from an injury to my brachial plexus. My range of motion in that arm is about 40% of what a typical, uninjured arm would be, not to mention my underdeveloped strength, dislocated shoulder, and the resulting scoliosis. I could go on. Based on the simplest, literal definition, I am definitely disabled, because at the very least, compared with a typical body, my movements are limited.*

So, why am I always hearing “I don’t think of you that way”?

Often a person says it to relieve their own social discomfort or cognitive dissonance, either because I’ve self-identified as disabled or because they’ve said something disparaging about disabled people. Examples:

  • My boyfriend’s mom says she has “crippling self-doubt.” My boyfriend says, “bad word choice,” gesturing to me. She does a double take, looks my way, and says “Oh, I’m sorry, it didn’t occur to me because I don’t see you that way.”
  • My college roommate and I are chatting and I mention, in a neutral tone, that I am disabled. In the voice of someone finally expressing something that’s been bothering her, she says “I don’t know why you think of yourself that way. I don’t think of you that way.”

In the first example, my boyfriend’s mom uses “crippling,” (cripple (n.): a person who is partially or totally unable to use one or more limbs) as shorthand to say that her self-doubt prevents her from normal activities, or at least from the activities she’d prefer to take part in. When my boyfriend points out that this metaphor implies physical disability (such as mine) necessarily means abnormal, negative, or useless, she experiences discomfort. She relieves it by saying, “I don’t think of you that way,” preserving the abnormal, negative, or useless associations in her head with physical disability. Because she sees me as normal, useful, productive, I must not be disabled. The definition of disability shifts from a value-neutral description of physical or mental difference to a negative social role, in order to exclude me.

In the second example, my roommate does something similar. Although I don’t express sadness or anger when calling myself disabled, it makes her upset, and she pushes back. That’s because, rather than seeing disability as a value-neutral physical or mental difference, she sees it as a negative social role. In her mind, by self-identifying this way, I’m insulting myself.

The problem with both these lines of logic is twofold:

  • The definition of disability shifts at will in order to protect the nondisabled person’s perception of disability as a negative attribute.
  • Inclusion and exclusion into this social role shifts at will in order to protect the nondisabled person’s perception of disability as a negative attribute and attitude toward disabled people that they do “think of that way.”

If I’m not disabled, then I have no way to explain why I was told not to become a lifeguard, or why men routinely refuse to date me because my “arm is just too weird,” or why strangers approach me to tell me how great it is that I’m out living life. I lose out on putting a name to these negative experiences (which is a necessary part of healing from them and fighting back) in order to protect nondisabled people’s shifting definition of disability.

Worse still, if I’m not disabled, then disabled people are just the faceless, abnormal, negative, useless Other. If, as soon as a person because a valued figure in your life, they’re excluded from that group, it is far too easy to dehumanize, objectify, and disenfranchise that group.

*I wouldn’t trade that limitation of movement for the world, as it’s caused me to develop an interesting set of physical skills that nondisabled people lack along with character traits that are integral to my personality. But that’s for a different post.

zeezerizer  asked:

do you know of any good ways to write a character's thoughts?

There are two ways to write character’s thoughts.

The first way is using direct style, this is when you write your character’s thoughts word by word separating them from the rest of your paragraph using quotation marks, or italics (many times it depends on how you write your dialogues, hyphens or quotation marks)

  • Ex. 1: The street was quiet. H. turned her head back when the sound of footsteps became louder. “I should’ve taken a cab” she thought
  • Ex. 1: The street was quiet. H. turned her head back when the sound of footsteps became louder. I should’ve taken a cab, she thought.

  • Ex. 2: He had knocked the door four times now. “Was the meeting today?”, F. thought.
  • Ex. 2: He had knocked the door four times now. Was the meeting today? F. thought.

The second ways is indirect style, this is when you write your character’s thoughts using the narrator’s voice.

  • Ex. 1: The street was quiet. H. turned her head back when the sound of footsteps became louder. She thought it would have beed better if she had taken a cab.
  • Ex. 2: He had knocked the door four times now. F. wondered if the meeting was today.

As you can see, the main different between styles is how the thoughts are presented.

Some things to remember:

Writing your character’s thoughts gives an insight to your readers about your characters, who they are, what they really think and how much it differs from what they say, or express with their bodies.

Not every thought matters. Write down only relevant thoughts, the ones that add something to the plot and character development.

Don’t overuse thoughts. If your story is written in third person omniciesnt, adding thoughts to every scene with every character will slow down your story. On the contrary, if you’re writing using first person, your character’s thoughts are important, but not every single one (read previous point).

Find the best way to tell your story, sometimes is better using third person than first one, or vice versa.

If you’re using third person focusing on one character, you can write their thoughts separating them from the rest of the paragraph using quotation marks or italics. In those cases, there’s no need to identify the character.

You don’t know why she’s crying.

But you’re pretty sure she is. You’re afraid to look at her because you might see it, but her voice is coming out shaky and the last time you looked into her eyes, they were swimming. There was a depth to them that isn’t usually there. She isn’t hiding behind them anymore. She’s stripped all that away.

You don’t know why she’s crying. All she said was, “I haven’t been doing too well, lately.”
And you didn’t say anything back.
You just touched your hand to hers, the way the two of you used to. When it wasn’t this difficult to know what the other was feeling.

You don’t know why she’s crying.

But she didn’t show up the way she always has. And she hasn’t talked about words like they’re hers in a long time.

And she’s going away. She’s going away and she didn’t tell you, and sitting next to her now, listening to her breathing, the way the air has always changed around her, you’re starting to realize that once you were the person she told everything.
And now, now she doesn’t tell you. Now she jokes with you and she makes you laugh, and she’s always good for light and easy, and you thought it was because she was like that. You thought she was happy.
But now you can feel how heavy she feels, weighing her down. You can see how she’s struggling just to get air out of her chest.
You can hear the pain in each sharp intake of breath.

And you don’t know why she’s crying.
But you’re starting to think it might be because of you.
—  “You Don’t Know Why She’s Crying”
