the true love tale of boyfriend and girlfriend

We are not a fairytale ending.

We are bad timing and miscommunication.
Our happily ever after begins with the word almost. There’s no “true loves kiss” for us but rather, a kiss we didn’t know was our last. Our story doesn’t end with us walking hand-in-hand into the sunset.

Our story ends with both of us realising: we were the villains all along. Our story ends with two separate people who were once one.

Our story ends.

—  Once Upon A Time…
Concept: Beauty & the Beast, but without the Classic Faerytale Happy Ending

If you’ve seen the Disney movie Maleficent, remember how she made her curse basically “unbreakable” because the concept of “true love,” as it appears in faerytales, doesn’t actually exist?

What if the witch who cursed our prince (we’ll call him Adam) used the same principle? What if he already had a girlfriend (or boyfriend) and everything, but then he ran out of rose petals, and it still wasn’t enough to break the curse? What if instead of some magical kiss from someone he’d only known a few weeks just instantly turning him human again, he was stuck in the form of a beast for the rest of his life?

Now, imagine that Adam’s partner (guess we’ll call her Belle) doesn’t care if he’ll always be a beast, but she can’t stand to see him being so miserable about it, so she constantly encourages him to love himself, and once his confidence has built up enough, she convinces him to go outside and try to live like a normal person instead of just hiding away in a castle for the rest of his life. Obviously, this is going to take some work and preparation, so Belle starts going around to nearby towns and chatting people up, making friends, so she can eventually introduce them to her boyfriend and they can become his friends too.

Over time, the word spreads that there’s a cursed prince who’s friendly and just wants to live a normal life. People are intimidated by his appearance at first, but most eventually come around and are kind to him. Those that aren’t may form protests against this beast being allowed to coexist with humans, but you can bet your butt that Belle and Adam’s friends are there with their own counter-protests, fighting for nonhumans’ rights to be treated fairly and equally.

Maybe there are other cursed beings who hear about all this going down, so they get together and support each other as well. Eventually, it just becomes a common occurance to see beasts and talking animals, and all sorts of other magical creatures walking around in towns and cities alongside humans, and it’s a great relief for everyone.

Adam thinks back to that day, many years ago, when he realized he was doomed to be a beast for eternity, only now he doesn’t feel so doomed. He looks at Belle, smiles, and holds her hand. She smiles back and thinks of all they’ve been through together, the things they’ve both sacrificed for each other and compromises they’ve each made for the good of their relationship, and this beautiful world they’ve built together, and only now does she truly understand what true love is.

True love, like any other strong and addicting drug, is boring—once the tale of encounter and discovery is told, kisses quickly grow stale and caresses tiresome…except, of course, to those who share the kisses, who give and take the caresses while every sound and color of the world seems to deepen and brighten around them. As with any other strong drug, true first love is really only interesting to those who have become its prisoners.
And, as is true of any other strong and addicting drug, true first love is dangerous.

Muffins and Hot Chocolate (blurb)

Hey guys ! How’re you all? I just wanted to say that requests are open so please send in so that i can update faster and ideas too! Plus inbox me anytime you want. And here’s the fluffy winter blurb. I hope you guys enjoy and tell me what you think about it. It’s a short one but still. Plus i’ve never been to London so i apologize if the discription is wrong.

London has never been such a good and relaxing place when it came to winters. Continuos showers and no visible sun just made the weather more shivering and wet. Probably whole winters people used to pass it by sitting in front of fire warming selves up. And so used to you well until you were not single anymore. Last year only became you because official girlfriend of the Harry styles. And after that your life couldn’t be more adventurous. Though how much you tried to be simple your dearly boyfriend always found a way to spoil you rotten.

Currently, you were living in together with Harry. It was like a dream come true. Being with Harry was never the less like being in a fairy tale. Full of love and magic. Harry always tried to make you comfortable in his company and when you did got comfortable he confessed his feelings. I love you. As soon as those words left Harry’s lips you felt like the land you were standing on moved. You felt like you were floating in the air. On the seventh sky. Being in love with Harry is the best feeling ever you’ve known past by now.

You felt your the couch dip in which you were sitting with a book in you hand and your glasses set on the bridge of your nose. You knew who it was so you didn’t find it necessary to look up and cut the flow of your reading. Soon you felt two long fingers ticking the base of your feet. Though your feet were covered in fuzzy socks, you felt the tickle sensation.

“Poppet……look at me!” Whined the curly haired guy who-apparently was your boyfriend.

“Just one more chapter” you said keeping you gaze fixed to the book which you were currently reading.

“Pweaseeee” Harry whined like a baby who wasn’t getting his wished candies. It wasn’t like you liked to make Harry wait. It was just that you loved how Harry whined when you don’t pay him attention. He switches his soul-to with a baby when he’s not getting attention. And that’s what you loved the most. His little whining voice and cute pleading.

“Nope.” You said making ‘p’ a bit popping on purpose.

“Fine.” You heard Harry as soon you felt no one beside you. Setting your book down-you stood up. Head moving sideways to search for Harry.

“Baby?? Where are you?” You said as you walked to kitchen where you heard sound of utensils coming from. As soon as you went in, you spot Harry nothing but in his old grey-sweatpants and same matching fuzzy socks as you. He looked undoubtably adorable and warm. Besides the fact that you were in London, one of the coldest cities ever and Harry was nothing but in his sweatpants he still was your warmest place ever.

“What’re you doing?” You said as you walked to him and wrapped your tiny limbs around his waist and pressed you ear against his broad back.

“Making hot chocolate and muffins” Harry replied stirring the brown powder in a cup filled with warm milk.

“Aww you’re so sweet” you said as you sneakily took the cup from him and sipped it.

“Hey! That was mine!!!!” Harry exclaimed

“So what? It’s mine now.” You said shrugging evilly-sipping it again.

“Oh really?” Harry said with a smirk. Well that was the only time where you could set the mug on shelf and run as fast as you can and do you did. Giggling you ran around the house followed with long lanky legs.

“Gotcha!” Harry said as Harry held you by your waist and span around ending up falling on couch with you beneath him. You were giggling uncontrollably and so was he.

“ well you do run fast” Harry said catching his breath as you nodded proudly.

“Well I was the fastest runner ever but then I didn’t wanted to have ego so I gave my title to bolt.” You said wiggling your eyebrows.

“Dork” Harry said as he started placing kisses all over your face making you giggle again. You were squirming under him when he stopped and leaned a bit back to have a look at you. Eyes scrunched, hair all over the couch -messed up, lips turned up into a big grin and melodious giggles coming from your mouth. He swore he never saw anything more beautiful than you.

“What? You’re staring at me” you said giggling.

“It’s called admiring. And for your kind information I’m an admirer of beauty” Harry said showing his dimples making you blush. He caressed your cheek as you opened your eyes and found him staring at you still. Well admiring you, in his words.

“Gosh I love you so much” Harry whispered as he leaned in, clearly to kiss you but ended up licking your upper lip making you squeal.

“Hmm I made good hot chocolate huh?” Harry chuckled as you hit his head playfully and pulled him in for a kiss.

She is not beautiful.

No, she is a riot of emotions, tumbling forth from the darkest clouds like a thousand heavy raindrops, ready to drown you in an instant, should you step too close.

She is the sun shining on your face that makes you believe in fairy tales although you swore you outgrew them in fifth grade and that they were stupid.

She is the wind, too stubborn to let you pass in a blizzard, too proud to let you win. And yet like the cool summer breeze she will calm your mind, extinguishing in the process the very fire she burned you with.

She is strong like diamond, formed in the extremest of conditions, yet she is also weak like crystal, easily broken and hard to mend.

Her sobs will break your heart and her laughter will heal it again, and you’ll wonder how someone so happy can be so sad at the same time.

Her words will be crafted so eloquently you’ll wonder where she learnt to speak like this and to disguise her emotions so well. And you will search, under the many layers of contradiction that she hides, to find the lost and frightened girl from long ago.

And if you’re lucky enough that she lets you in, past the fortresses and walls; if you’re lucky enough to see a side to her which is vulnerable and unguarded; innocent and trusting, don’t take it for granted or treat her like she’s insignificant.

She’s complex and a mystery. But if she gives you her heart she will love you fiercely and without exception.

She is not beautiful. But she hopes you will love her just the same.
