  • would not be surprised if they captained the quidditch team
  • like the gryffindors would be complaining about how much wood makes them work and ravenclaws would be like ‘…bruh’
  • the type to set up a black market in muggle supplies with heavily inflated prices
  • will use magic for anything and everything as soon as they come of age
  • would also probably be a prefect, you know that golden child who’s good at everything
  • being in ravenclaw is actually really good for them because it broadens their horizons a bit and forces them to look at other perspectives
  • absolutely hate having to answer a riddle to get into the common room who’s idea was that it’s stupid 
  • walk into their career guidance with flitwick with a ten point plan and a powerpoint
  • will stay up for hours working on a spell until they can do it right
  • when someone dares stands up to an entj on debate night the entj instantly wants to befriend them
  • probably very good at transfiguration and would greatly admire mcgonagall

I'm curious now, what happens when the RFA find MC crying?

Yoosung probably starts crying too. Then he gets somewhat convinced that you’re crying because of him and the flailing begins. ‘Did I do something to upset you, MC? I CAN CHANGE!’ He will have promised to cut his hair, study harder, wash the dishes, cook dinner and a bunch of other things until you actually explain what’s wrong and then he responds with the biggest of hugs and makes you a cup of herbal tea. He’ll listen to whatever is upsetting you and becomes a sounding board for your emotions, where possible. If you’re angry because of what someone said to you, he becomes angry about it too. If something really sad happened, he becomes sad too. It becomes easier to accept and work through your feelings when you’re looking at them in someone else, which he learned when coping with grief.

Zen is a wildcard, honestly. I guess it depends on if he knows why you’re crying or not. If he doesn’t know the reason, 9 times out of 10 he’ll assume someone upset you and will ask who before getting on his bike to beat the crap out of them or otherwise give them a piece of his mind. If he has some idea of why, like you’ve mentioned an issue with friends or a hard time at work, he’ll squeeze you until you’re calmer and help you work through the problem. You’ll have a ten point plan within the hour, honestly.

Jumin + emotions = oil + water. He will not know what to do. He’ll try to calm you down and ask what the problem is but if that doesn’t work like y’know when you’re crying so hard that you can barely breathe, he’ll pretty much just be like ‘…would you like some new shoes?’, ‘how about dinner at [x]?’ ‘How about we go on vacation tonight? You choose?’ In the end he’d put Elizabeth on your lap and call V like  H E L P  M E

Jaehee knows exactly what to do. Did you expect anything else? She’ll be ready with a cup of your favorite hot beverage and the thickest slice of cake you’ve ever seen. She probably knows what’s wrong without having to be told, having paid close attention to everything you’ve told her over recent weeks and some things you haven’t. She noticed when you were on the phone to a friend and raised your voice that little bit higher than usual or when you returned home from work and went straight in the bath without any dinner. She was prepared for this and lets you cry it out.

Yesterday, October 15th 2016, was the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense. 

Established in Oakland, California by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale, the BPP was a Marxist Black liberation organization. They fought against the overt violence of racist cops and the covert brutality of poverty, hunger, and degradation. They established survival programs to do the work the government wouldn’t, worked to oppose American imperialism abroad, published a newspaper, and agitated for their Ten Point Plan which ended “We want land, bread, housing, education, clothing, justice and peace!”

The FBI targeted the Panthers under the COINTELPRO program, subjecting them to surveillance, infiltration, perjury, harassment, smear campaigns, and assassinations. Despite fighting valiantly, the party was dissolved in 1982.

Do you ever remember that Chara was Asriel’s everything and monsters were Chara’s everything to the point where two ten year olds willingly came up with a plan that was going to kill at least one of them and how every character in the game follows the theme of having something horrendous happen in their life that they can’t let go of and they all make immense mistakes due to this that continue because they have their duty, or they’re scared, or they give up entirely, because I think about it every gosh dang day and boy howdy that message of letting go really didn’t sink into me at all did it.

Priorities

The United States is a police state. That’s not hyperbole. Yesterday’s news - another unarmed Black man shot while directly obeying police orders, while offering no resistance - is not some outlier, some rare occurrence. This happens again and again, and there are almost never repercussions for the police involved. And I remind: this occurs in a country that has imprisoned a higher percentage of its population than any other.

And yet the uncritical hero-worship of police continues. Yes, the police do risk their lives to do their job. So do farm laborers, social workers, loggers, truckers, construction workers, and many others. There are a HUGE number of people in this country who risk their lives by getting up and going to work everyday, many of them moreso than police, and all of these people contribute to our society and their communities.

Of course some cops are good people and its a tragedy when they lose their lives, but that’s just as true of many, many others. And yet at the same time, unlike these people in other jobs, they rarely face repercussions when they fuck up, even when they kill people. They are not held responsible, they are frequently placed on paid leave during investigations that, all too often, find them innocent of any wrongdoing because we have a system that protects and rewards the police at the expense of the people. While, again, I’m aware that there are some cops who are good people, the system as a whole is seriously broken and I find it hard to respect any kind “pro-police/blue lives matter” until the police are disarmed, demilitarized, and most important, have real independent community oversight and held responsible by the society they are in - just like everyone else.

The Black Lives Matter organization created a ten point plan to work against police violence in this country. I agree with it entirely, and I hope it is taken seriously during this election on both local and national levels. I’m going to paste those ten points here so you don’t even have to click on a link (though you should definitely go to their website and read more):

-Ending “broken windows” policing, which aggressively polices minor crimes in an attempt to stop larger ones

-Using community oversight for misconduct rather than having police decide what consequences officers face

-Making standards for reporting police use of deadly force

-Independently investigating and prosecuting police misconduct

-Having the racial makeup of police departments reflect the communities they serve

-Requiring officers to wear body cameras

-Providing more training for police officers

-Ending for-profit policing practices

-Ending the police use of military equipment

-Implementing police union contracts that hold officers accountable for misconduct

All too often progressive voices are criticized for being vague, having no specific action plan, being too fractured. The plan created by Black Lives Matter is specific, positive, and workable.

As usual, there are a lot of big issues we are facing as a country this election season. And maybe not so much as usual, we have the circus of the election itself. And of course many of these issues are important, but the relationship between the police and the people they are supposed to serve is at a crisis point, it has been for a long time, and it needs to be the priority right now.

Bellamy’s official position, as a government employee, is that everyone should just get off his lawn. He has such a noted reputation for being a prematurely grumpy old man that Clarke actually leveraged it into a successful fundraising campaign–Get Off Bellamy’s Lawn and Into a Park!–in City Hall. Everyone knows his opinion on technology, kids today, and how social media is destroying civilization.

So he is, to say the least, upset about Pokemon Go.

“You know as a parks department employee, you’re supposed to be happy about people going to the park, right?” Clarke asks. She’s thrilled, of course. People are coming to parks in droves, and it’s only been like a day. This is Clarke in her element, and it’s slightly awkward to try to balance his genuine annoyance with the whole world with how cute Clarke is when she’s excited.

Feelings are so bad for his entire existence.

“They don’t pay me enough to experience happiness,” he grouses. “My pay rate just entitles them to me not making constituents cry.”

“On purpose,” she adds.

“I haven’t made anyone cry in months,” he says, and Clarke grins and bumps his shoulder.

“Come on. It’s going to be fun.”

  1. WE WANT FREEDOM. WE WANT POWER TO DETERMINE THE DESTINY OF OUR BLACK AND OPPRESSED COMMUNITIES. 
    We believe that Black and oppressed people will not be free until we are able to determine our destinies in our own communities ourselves, by fully controlling all the institutions which exist in our communities.

  2. WE WANT FULL EMPLOYMENT FOR OUR PEOPLE. 
    We believe that the federal government is responsible and obligated to give every person employment or a guaranteed income. We believe that if the American businessmen will not give full employment, then the technology and means of production should be taken from the businessmen and placed in the community so that the people of the community can organize and employ all of its people and give a high standard of living.

  3. WE WANT AN END TO THE ROBBERY BY THE CAPITALISTS OF OUR BLACK AND OPPRESSED COMMUNITIES. 
    We believe that this racist government has robbed us and now we are demanding the overdue debt of forty acres and two mules. Forty acres and two mules were promised 100 years ago as restitution for slave labor and mass murder of Black people. We will accept the payment in currency which will be distributed to our many communities. The American racist has taken part in the slaughter of our fifty million Black people. Therefore, we feel this is a modest demand that we make.

  4. WE WANT DECENT HOUSING, FIT FOR THE SHELTER OF HUMAN BEINGS. 
    We believe that if the landlords will not give decent housing to our Black and oppressed communities, then housing and the land should be made into cooperatives so that the people in our communities, with government aid, can build and make decent housing for the people.

  5. WE WANT DECENT EDUCATION FOR OUR PEOPLE THAT EXPOSES THE TRUE NATURE OF THIS DECADENT AMERICAN SOCIETY. WE WANT EDUCATION THAT TEACHES US OUR TRUE HISTORY AND OUR ROLE IN THE PRESENT-DAY SOCIETY. 
    We believe in an educational system that will give to our people a knowledge of the self. If you do not have knowledge of yourself and your position in the society and in the world, then you will have little chance to know anything else.

  6. WE WANT COMPLETELY FREE HEALTH CARE FOR All BLACK AND OPPRESSED PEOPLE. 
    We believe that the government must provide, free of charge, for the people, health facilities which will not only treat our illnesses, most of which have come about as a result of our oppression, but which will also develop preventive medical programs to guarantee our future survival. We believe that mass health education and research programs must be developed to give all Black and oppressed people access to advanced scientific and medical information, so we may provide our selves with proper medical attention and care.

  7. WE WANT AN IMMEDIATE END TO POLICE BRUTALITY AND MURDER OF BLACK PEOPLE, OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOR, All OPPRESSED PEOPLE INSIDE THE UNITED STATES. 
    We believe that the racist and fascist government of the United States uses its domestic enforcement agencies to carry out its program of oppression against black people, other people of color and poor people inside the united States. We believe it is our right, therefore, to defend ourselves against such armed forces and that all Black and oppressed people should be armed for self defense of our homes and communities against these fascist police forces.

  8. WE WANT AN IMMEDIATE END TO ALL WARS OF AGGRESSION. 
    We believe that the various conflicts which exist around the world stem directly from the aggressive desire of the United States ruling circle and government to force its domination upon the oppressed people of the world. We believe that if the United States government or its lackeys do not cease these aggressive wars it is the right of the people to defend themselves by any means necessary against their aggressors.

  9. WE WANT FREEDOM FOR ALL BLACK AND OPPRESSED PEOPLE NOW HELD IN U. S. FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY, CITY AND MILITARY PRISONS AND JAILS. WE WANT TRIALS BY A JURY OF PEERS FOR All PERSONS CHARGED WITH SO-CALLED CRIMES UNDER THE LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY. 
    We believe that the many Black and poor oppressed people now held in United States prisons and jails have not received fair and impartial trials under a racist and fascist judicial system and should be free from incarceration. We believe in the ultimate elimination of all wretched, inhuman penal institutions, because the masses of men and women imprisoned inside the United States or by the United States military are the victims of oppressive conditions which are the real cause of their imprisonment. We believe that when persons are brought to trial they must be guaranteed, by the United States, juries of their peers, attorneys of their choice and freedom from imprisonment while awaiting trial.

  10. WE WANT LAND, BREAD, HOUSING, EDUCATION, CLOTHING, JUSTICE, PEACE AND PEOPLE’S COMMUNITY CONTROL OF MODERN TECHNOLOGY.
