I think after a year of inactivity it’s more or less time to say goodnight to this blog.

I owe so much to this project, not only did it help me develop my art and narrative illustration skills, it’s also given me some of the best and longest lasting friendships I’ve ever had. I still love The Dolorosa and The Signless and their story, and I think I always will, but it’s time to move on to new things. Still I will always remember this very fondly.

I want to say thank you so much to all of you who sent in questions and who supported me this whole time. I’m not deleting the blog, everything will stay up, and I may even post a doodle from time to time, but yes it’s pretty much over and i am so grateful to everyone who stuck around.

So to mark the occasion, here are a selection of sketches/illustrations that I never got around to actually posting here.

Thank you.

  • Condesce: Who broke the coffee pot? I'm not mad, I just want to know.
  • Signless: I did. I broke it.
  • Condesce: No. No you didn't. GHB?
  • GHB: Don't look at me, look at Dualscar.
  • Dualscar: What?! I didn't break it!
  • GHB: Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken?
  • Dualscar: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken!
  • GHB: Suspicious.
  • Dualscar: No, it's not!
  • Redglare: If it matters, probably not... Mindfang was the last one to use it.
  • Mindfang: Liar! I don't even drink that crap!
  • Redglare: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?
  • Mindfang: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Redglare!
  • Signless: Okay, let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Condy.
  • Condesce: No! Who broke it!?
  • Summoner: Condesce, Darkleer's been awfully quiet this whole time.
  • Darkleer: Really?!
  • (Yelling ensues)
  • (Camera pans to the Condesce)
  • Condesce: I broke it. It burned my hand, so I punched it. I predict that ten minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.
