the sides are red

Update on prom: Venue was shit. Food was disgusting. Music by dj sucked ass. Did not have a pole, disappointing. And I forgot parts of my suit to change into, including my red suspenders.

on the bright side, I did get to have fun with my ‘yurri’ and see them smile for a long time and my ass… my ass is so fine after 3 hours of dancing, I mean what the hell.

Overall rating 4/10. I am going to plan a better prom that’s for sure

Later, thousands would say they saw it happen. The king, standing on the battlefield, the red-haired girl fighting by his side. Then, in the blink of an eye—or a brief glance away, or the momentary obstruction of the crowd—there is only one: King Hiryuu, the crimson dragon of legend, uniting all of Kouka behind him as he leads his armies to victory.

Hak doesn’t see it, though he’s there in the thick of it. Or rather, protecting his red-haired king, looking to them for direction in the heat of battle, feels so natural that it’s only later, standing by Hiryuu’s side as the king accepts the surrender of the Kai Emperor, that Hak realizes there’s anything to question. Then he freezes.

“Hak,” says Hiryuu, turning back to face him, his melodious voice both familiar and oh, so wrong.

“You’re—”

“I am Yona,” says Hiryuu. “And I am Su-won. Don’t worry,” he says with a smile. “This is how things were always meant to be.”

“The red dragon will return at dawn,” Yun recites. He glances at the sky. It’s high noon now, the bright sun beating down on the dusty road home. Hiryuu rides at the head of the army, his generals following close behind. His dragons should be near him, too—Zeno is right by his side— but the others stay back, a lonely group amongst the triumphant soldiers. “I didn’t know this would happen! Ik-su never said—” Hak doesn’t reply. He remembers what Su-won did to the princess. How can Hiryuu say this was always meant to be?

The dragons, too, are silent. Finally, Shin-ah speaks. “He’s…not Yona,” he says.

“But he’s Hiryuu,” says Kija. “To follow him is the greatest, the only desire of the dragons.” He looks like he’s trying to convince himself.

“This can’t be permanent,” says Yun. “Can it?”

Hiryuu smiles, and speaks to Hak as if they’ve always known each other, and Hak can’t look him in the eye. “Where is Yona?” he growls. “What did you do to her?”

“Hak,” Hiryuu says gently, “I told you. I am Yona. She and Su-won, we were always two halves of a whole.”

“Yona was never incomplete!” Many things had been incomplete. The kiss she left him with the last time they saw each other, the words he never gave her in response. But Yona was always everything she needed to be.

Hiryuu turns his gaze to the heavens. “Do you remember when the two of us looked up at the sky together?” he asks.

“No,” Hak says shortly, and storms away.

“I’m no happier about this than you are,” Ju-doh says.

“You knew it would happen.” The Sky general doesn’t deny it. “When you traded your second sword for a shield, you knew it would happen. Why didn’t you warn her?”

“Warn her?” He scoffs at the idea. “She was the one armed with prophecies and dragons. She was the one who turned up everywhere he went. Don’t try to tell me she didn’t understand their destiny.”

It’s pointless to argue, and Hak doesn’t care to try. “Then why didn’t you try to stop it?”

“He wouldn’t let me,” Ju-doh admits. “All he asked was that I help him make the best use of the time he had.”

These days, Ju-doh is no closer to the king than Hak. The dragons are the ones who stay by his side—all the dragons but Jae-ha. “I chose to follow a girl who doesn’t exist anymore,” is the last thing he says before he flies away, as soon as it becomes clear there’s no going back. Hiryuu lets him go with a sad smile on his face. Zeno clings to his king. Shin-ah seems to love him, but flinches whenever the king speaks his name. Kija has become stiff with duty.

The generals accept the return of King Hiryuu gladly, even the ones who were never believers before. Joon-gi pushes even harder for a match with his daughter, who is far more amenable to the idea than she once was. The day before their wedding, Hak leaves for Fuuga. He’s not coming back.

Two years later, Hak is visited by a yellow-haired young man who he almost doesn’t recognize as Zeno. He’s taller, and his hair is shorter, the angles of his face a little sharper. “Hiryuu came back for a reason,” he says. “Zeno thought mister might want to know.”

“…oh,” is all Hak can say to that.

“Zeno misses the miss, too,” Zeno admits. “But at least Zeno won’t be missing her for long.” For the tiniest instant, Hak hopes—and then he realizes that Zeno is referring to himself, and not to Yona.

“Zeno, are you—are you going to be alright?”

“Zeno’s going to go visit Ryokuryuu next!” the former yellow dragon replies, without answering Hak’s question.

The king is planning a visit to Fuuga. Hak doesn’t intend to be there, but at the last minute, he can’t bring himself to leave. He’s weak, and he wants, oh how he wants to see that red hair again, those deep violet eyes, Yona’s eyes, even if he’ll never see Yona again. Hak stays back as the royal party arrives in the late morning—they’ve even brought the little princess with them—and there, he’s had his glimpse of Hiryuu, and that’s enough. That’s enough for a lifetime.

“Hak.”

He turns. Standing before him is Yona—older, a grown woman, but without a doubt, Yona. “Princess,” he says. “What—how—?”

“Look at the sky,” says Yona. Hak looks up. What he thought was just a cloud covering the sun is no cloud at all but a much darker shadow. The beginning of an eclipse. “Long, long ago, the red sun was eaten, and the world was dyed black,” Yona recites. “We have until the light returns.”

“How often do solar eclipses happen?” Hak asks her.

“Yun says it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

“Then just tell me one thing. Is this what you want?”

She buries her face in his chest, tears staining his robes. “It’s not,” she says, gripping the stone on his necklace tight. “Hak, I just want my family back, I want you—” She pulls away from him and takes several deep breaths. “But it’s what Kouka needs. I made this choice, Hak.”

Hak pulls her close and wonders what will happen if he doesn’t let go.

When the light returns, she’s still there with him. Hak wonders if he dare hope. They return together to the main house at Fuuga, where Tae-wu greets Yona with confusion—and Lili greets her with open arms. “Yona, isn’t this longer than you expected?” Lili asks.

“It is,” says Yona. “Lili…where is Su-won?” But the other woman doesn’t know.

Two days they wait. Hak would like to never see Su-won again, but Yona is fraught with worry. The little princess doesn’t know what to make of the strange woman who looks so much like her father.

At dawn on the third day, Ju-doh rides to Fuuga. “Su-won isn’t coming back,” he says. “Not to Kouka, not in his lifetime.” He bows to Yona. “Your Majesty,” he says, “Su-won accepted where his path would lead. He never wanted that for you.”

“And you?” Hak asks.

“I’ll join him in exile,” says Ju-doh. “I only came back to deliver this message.”

Yona bows in return. “Thank you, General,” she says. She reaches for Hak’s hand.

“Princess,” Hak begins as they watch the former Sky general ride off into the distance. No, she’s not a princess anymore. “Yona,” he says, “Yona,” he repeats her name, “Yona.” She is Yona and only Yona, and that’s all she ever needs to be.

She looks up at him. “Hak,” she says, smiling. “Let’s go home.”

Spell to help achieve your hearts desire

This is a spell that usually works but it’s not meant for you to fall in love with a specific person.
Ingredients: a fresh rose (preferably red) and two red candles

Find the time that the sun is going to rise the next morning. Before going to sleep put the red candles on either side of the rose. The next morning at sunrise go outside with the rose, hold the rose in front of you and say

“This rose stands for love. Real love come to me”

Go back inside and put the rose between the candles. Light the candles and visualize characteristics of your ideal person, how your relationship would be like and the love in both of your hearts connecting.
Have the candles burn day and night until the rose fades. Pinch out the candle and bury the rose.

This again isn’t meant to make anyone love you it’s just a way to help you find love. I hope you all have an amazing night/day and blessed be 😊

Ok so I've got a question outside the companion ask. So Shaera joined Red Jenny! Here's my scenario; Shaera is happy with the red jennies, right. But she discovers Fen'harel has been corrupted with power, and now is screwing people over everywhere, like. He's horrible. Unstoppable. She aches for him, and he sends word for her to join his cause of world domination™, to be forever by his side and given anything she wishes for. Jennies dissaprove and see a way of killing him. What does Shaera do?

You’re a cruel, cruel woman.

But you know what…it’s pretty easy for Shaera. She sides with the Red Jennies. At that point, “Solas” no longer exists to her. There would be no “Solas” left to save. If he refused to surrender, She would acknowledge what he’s become and she would protect the people that were there for her when he left.

Batmom Series #1

Warnings: death, depression, mention of drowning

Word Count: 1136

Note: I have so many exciting plans for my Batmom series, but I wanted to start with this one that tugs at the heartstrings ~ K

—————————————————

Your head was submerged under the water of the shower, as you hoped it would drown out the sounds of the world. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between your tears and the water. It had been a while since you let yourself cry over what had happened and you only let yourself in the safety of your shower. You remembered it like yesterday.

“Y/N….” Bruce said warily as he came back with a body in his arms.

“Bruce who is that?” you asked afraid of the answer yourself.

“Y/N.”

With just the sound of your name leaving his lips you knew exactly who it was. The world collapsed around you as Bruce set your son on the table, and you cried out for him. The pain was indescribable; like someone had ripped away the gravity from your world. Blood-curdling screams dragged out between hyperventilated breaths, and Bruce shed tears from the sound of you. He had come over to put his arms around you as the two of you sobbed and mourned for the death of your child.

Everyone knew that you were different, the hollow look in your eyes, and the lack of true smiles that stretched on your face. The funeral had been one of the hardest days of your life, as you depended on Dick and Bruce as your life support.

“Mom I’m right here,” Dick said as he fell into your embrace. You cried as you held onto him; the only son of yours right now, and held tightly. “I’m not going anywhere.”

When Bruce brought home Tim and Damian, you accepted them with open arms and they became your next two sons. You loved them both every bit as much as you did Jason, but a part of you would always be missing.

It was one day when Bruce and Dick had just gotten home from chasing after a new crimelord that went by Red Hood. You were coming back from restocking bandages when you heard a quiet and rushed conversation between Dick and Bruce that made you stop for a second to listen.

“We have to tell mom,” Dick whispered harshly to Bruce.

“No it will absolutely destroy her and we’re not sure yet.’

“She has the right to know, it’s not fair to her or anyone else. Don’t get me wrong, she is a good mom to Damian and Tim, but you and I both know that she has never been the same since him.”

“We can NOT tell Y/N Dick.”

“Tell me what?” you asked as you emerged from the shadows of the Batcave, holding the bandages that you had gathered for Bruce. ‘What is going to ‘absolutely destroy’ me?” you asked with air quotes and emphasis on their repeated conversation.

“Dick…” Bruce warned as you could see Dick start to open his mouth to say something to you.

“I’m sorry mom,” Dick said in response to the light warning.

That was all that was said that night that left you with a million questions popping in your mind. What could Bruce be hiding from you that Dick wanted to tell you so badly? And what on Earth did it have to do with Jason? It wasn’t until a couple days later that you would find out.

Bruce had gone out again and by now it seemed like everyone knew, except for you. You were in the Batcave cleaning when you got curious as to what was on Bruce’s computer; it was seemingly analyzing something. It wasn’t your fault that the sequence was finished and you saw what it was. A loud bang filled the cave as you dropped what you were holding, seeing what it read.

Red Hood, the new crimelord running Gotham is your son. Your son, the one that died in an explosion caused by the Joker.

“You weren’t supposed to see that Miss,” Alfred said from behind you as he had come to see what the loud sound was.

“He knew and didn’t tell me,” you whispered to yourself. “He knew and didn’t let anyone tell me.”

“I’m sure Master Bruce had his reasons.”

“Reasons to not tell me that my son is alive?!” you raised your voice, immediately regretting it as it was Alfred.

“Y/N I had my reasons,” Bruce said hearing the tail end of your conversation with Alfred. “He’s not the same Y/N. He’s running the drug game.”

“I don’t care he’s my son. And Dick was right I had a right to know. You didn’t have the right to keep this from me, Bruce,” you told him as you walked up to him indignantly.

“I’m sorry it was for your own good.”

After a bit of silence, you finally said, “I want to see him.”

“That’s not a good idea.”

“I wasn’t asking,” you replied still upset that Bruce had kept something of this nature from you.

It had been several weeks since the last conversation you had with Bruce about Jason. You had watched as he and his father battled on top of the building that he had kept Joker in. You had seen all the headlines as people began to recognize him for working outside the law to clean up Gotham; for doing what Batman wasn’t able to. You had seen it all but you never expected to come into the Batcave and see him standing there in his new get-up. You walked up to him and put a hand to his new helmet.

“Jason…”

He flinched away from your touch a bit and didn’t reply.

“Please…just…let me see that you’re real,” you begged him as tears welled in your eyes.

He sighed but reluctantly pulled off his helmet. It was undeniable that he was Jason. He had aged since the last time you had seen him of course, but you could recognize your son anywhere.

You held your breath and hesitantly put your hand up to his face, and rubbed your thumb across his cheek ever so slightly.

“Hi Ma,” he finally said breaking the silence that had filled the air since he had gotten rid of his helmet.

Tears fell from your cheeks as he grabbed you and pulled you into a hug. He had grown so much and was taller than you, and you could feel his own tears falling onto your head.

“I missed you so much Ma, you have no idea.”

What if the paladins’ zodiac signs are based on their elements?

Hear me out.

We already have Hunk, whose birthday is on January the 13th - making him a Capricorn. Capricorn is an earth sign, and the yellow lion is the guardian spirit of earth!

Shiro’s birthday is on February the 29th, making him a Pisces - the most spiritual of the signs.

If this pattern continues, we have 3 possibilities each for Keith, Lance and Pidge:

  • Keith: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
  • Lance: Pisces*, Cancer, Scorpio
  • Pidge: Aquarius*, Gemini, Libra

(*not very likely, both would’ve been confirmed by now)

My guess for Keith is that he’s an Aries.

Aries are said to be brave, courageous, and trustworthy, but also fierce and impulsive.

They’re born leaders, always willing to take one for the team - but their stubbornness can sometimes cloud their judgement.

Keith has all these traits, as shown in “Across the Universe” and “The Blade of Marmora”. While he was able to pilot the Black Lion in order to save Shiro, he didn’t seem concerned about his own wellbeing in the slightest when he took quite the beating from those Marmora fighters.

Keith likes to push himself. But when a member of his team is in danger and he’s got to make a quick decision, he usually acts very level-headed.

When Allura was taken captive by Zarkon, he proposed to come up with a plan instead of rushing head first into battle, something he didn’t consider at all when he was fighting Zarkon one on one. While this may have seemed cold, it was - strategically speaking - the decision any experienced leader would have made.

And when Shiro was beginning to lose consciousness, Keith didn’t blindly rush to him in a weak attempt to take on those beasts by himself. Instead he placed everything on one card, asking the Black Lion for help.

And it worked. Because he knew what he was doing.

Lance doesn’t seem like a Scorpio at all, and if we rule out Pisces as a possibility, Cancer is the only sign left. And it fits:

People with the Cancer zodiac are sensitive, loyal, creative and spontaneous - but also naive and clingy.

It’s canon that Lance is very loyal to his teammates and friends, but he also likes to internalise his issues and has insecurities that gnaw at his confidence. Let me hug u

As for Pidge, I can see why one would argue that she’s a Libra - but I’m leaning more towards Gemini.

She’s quick-witted, adaptable and a fast learner, but indecisive and a bit of an overthinker at times. Her main goal is finding her brother and father. While this may motivate her and give her a reason to continue piloting the Green Lion, it is also her biggest weakness. I wouldn’t be surprised if the paladins’ enemies used Pidge’s family against her at some point in the future.

Her ability to figure out Olkarian technology in a split second and her eagerness to learn Altean has me convinced that she’s a Gemini. They’re said to be two-faced.

These are my guesses based on Season 1 & 2 and what little information we have on Hunk and Shiro. If you have any ideas or things that you’d like to point out, feel free to add on!
