Vans Girls’ Catskills Moto Diaries // Babes Ride Out: May 28th, 7AM

13 hours and 400 miles later, we arrive at the camp site for Babes Ride Out East Coast. We knew it would be a long ride, but what we didn’t realize was 400 miles winding through backroads in New England, was not the same as 400 miles scooting down California freeways— I mean, 400 miles in California? That’s like a half-day ride! Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess. And with the sun down and the steam from the rain fogging up our helmet shields, we were looking forward to a mellow night by the fire.

Two weeks ago we ventured off to the lush state of Massachusetts, and made our way to Babes Ride Out’s first ever East Coast camp. If you’ve never heard of Babes Ride Out, it’s an all-women’s motorcycle riding event that connects ladies from all over the world whom share the love for two wheeled, knees in the breeze adventures.

Vans Girls’ Catskills Moto Diaries // Babes Ride Out: May 30th, 7PM

It was a bittersweet end to a long, fun weekend of riding through the Catskills. We got pretty lucky in terms of weather, considering the doomsday reports of possible on-going thunderstorms. With word of an approaching downpour reaching the campsite, Genevieve and I decided to pack up our tents, and scoot on over to Pennsylvania for a dry place to sleep, and the most delicious pizza we’ve ever tasted.
