Is Jane Austen read in Scion, or is her work banned? Also, what is Sim Warden's career?
Scion has done its best to seize or destroy literature from pre-Scion days, as they want people to forget that time. Copies of certain classic novels do exist, but only in the archives of certain libraries. They’ve also been edited to remove any trace of religion, spirits, or the supernatural. Many of them ended up in the Old Library at Sheol I, which is how Warden was able to read Frankenstein in The Bone Season.
In Austen’s case, an edited Pride and Prejudice might be hanging around in an archive somewhere, but something like Northanger Abbey would have been burned.
Sim Warden has had several careers, but Musician is his calling.
SO. THERE IS THIS GAME CALLED SCION. ITS PUBLISHED BY WHITE WOLF. THAT IS ALREADY A POSITIVE. THE PREMISE IS THAT YOU ARE CHILDREN OF THE GODS TRYING TO SAVE THE WORLD. THINK PERCY JACKSON MEETS AMERICAN GODS.
I’m very proud to say that the 99th Aleutian Seahawks are now sitting in one of GW Wolverhampton’s cabinets! With the addition of the command net vox and a second Tempestor, all squads are now complete and ready for display - equipped a bit oddly, perhaps, but ready nonetheless.
No small amount of thanks to @a-40k-author for making these gits popular enough for me to get around to painting them in the first place. Good luck with your own Stormtroopers, and Ave Imperator!
