Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a town on the Romantic Road in Bayern (Bavaria), Southern Germany, about halfway in between Frankfurt and Munich. It’s known for its medieval center (Altstadt), seemingly untouched by the passage of time, encircled by the undamaged 14th century town wall. In the Middle Ages, it was a free imperial city, reaching its apex of prosperity under Bürgermeister Heinrich Toppler in the 15th century with a large population of 6,000 - much larger than Frankfurt and Munich at the time. Now it’s a small town and tourist attraction.

"He feels like quiet, stronger when you hold him.”
I really love this line from Cole when your romancing Cullen
because it gives you clues about his relationship with the Inquisitor. We know
through what people say in game that Cullen is a workaholic. (Varric: “Curly,
if anyone needs a hobby, it’s you.”) He’s someone who is always thinking about
what should be done and always focuses on his tasks at 110 percent. His mind
probably runs a million thoughts a minute. Part of this is the fact that he is
man who is very driven by duty. The other part, well, it likely has to do with
his lyrium withdrawals. Working constantly gives him something to focus on,
other than the pain and ache. So of course he would throw himself into his
work, and of course his thoughts would always be racing.
But then Cole says, that when he is with you, the
Inquisitor, he is “quiet,” and “stronger when you hold him,”
When Cullen is with you, his mind, usually going a million
miles a minute, is quiet and peaceful when he is in your arms. It is you alone
that has the power to quell his thoughts and pains, because it’s with you that
he’s really himself. For a moment, he forgets about the ache of withdrawal.
That sense of duty may always be present within him, yet with you, and in
your arms, he knows he can just be Cullen, a man in love. He feels like “quiet,”
because this is the one thing in the world that is right. You and him.
