the quality is crap i know

I honestly want to redo my comic with Gene’s canon death. I know it’s my long comic with the most notes, but I honestly want to redo it.

Most likely won’t be any time soon or whatever, but I’m thinking about it. It’s one of the earliest comics I posted, so there’s not too much detail. It was taken when my old phone was crapping on me and I was stuck using my mom’s old iPad, so the quality isn’t great either. Not to mention there’s some canon lore for Gene I can fix/add since I’ve done a lot since then. Plus I know my art has improved so I want to fix that lol(cause to me it’s Bad)

Think. Think. Think

PSA: If you're looking to buy prints, posters, or merch and come across a site called TeeChip DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, EVER

They steal artwork from artists without their permission and attempt to resell low quality crap of it, and trick people into buying it by stating “BEST SELLER, NOT AVAILABLE IN STORES, LIMITED TIME ONLY”

And hey, guess what? Someone messaged me earlier and I found out that this “company” is selling MY ART that I definitely did not give permission to use, sell, or distribute.

This “company” literally edited out my work from the original images, rotated a few, and slapped them all onto a poster.

Uh, NO. Not cool at all.

I have already filed a DMCA and hope to have it taken down within a day, but who knows if they’ll even do that seeing as their “DMCA form” is literally an email to “someone who takes care of these matters” 🙃

PLEASE don’t support shitty “companies” like TeeChip who steal the hard work of others! If you ever recognize artwork that you suspect is stolen on any site that sells artwork or merch, please let the original artist know if you’re able to! It’s always greatly appreciated when people let us know this kind of shit is happening and we can take actions to stop it

HOW TO KNOW FAKE METH
BAD QUALITY AND INCUT METH…

as of late there have been numerous questions asking about how to tell if the shit is good , or even real, and how to test it.

First things first, if you have to ask yourself , is this shit anygood after doing some , then it aint .

after a couple of hits out of the glass pipe , you should feel very good and energized, and not having the desire to refill the pipe, good shit will get you busy doing something other than smoking up your sack.

a little good meth goes a long way

if you do some , and you feel more tired than before , then it aint real.

Bleach Test: pour liquid bleach into a glass , a couple of ounces is all you need, drop a small amount of your product into the glass with the bleach in it.

and watch what happens, if its real , the speed will start dancing around, it will dart around for a few seconds, and after a few minutes or less , small oily spots will form on top of the bleach !!!

if it sinks to the bottom without dart around first, guess what? it aint real.

The smoke test: when blowing out a hit, the smoke should come straight out of your mouth and clouds that are long streams, like a rainbow .

If the smoke exhaled , come out and stays close to you and goes sideways and in circles to the left and right , it is not a good sign.

The nasal test: Real meth will burn your nose when snorted, so much that tears could form in your eyes, some call it the donkey kick, it feels that bad.
which is good!!

no burn or very little burn is a bad sign.

The magnification test: Look at your product under some magnification, it should all look the same as far as color and texture , the shards should be rigid, un-even , rough edges.
the color should be pretty clear or transparent , mostly but not 100%

Cloudy rocks are another bad sign.

If the edges are smooth and straight kinda uniformed shape , bad sign!!

Meth should not look wet, if it looks wet or kinda oily and easy to break apart, Bad Sign.

The pipe test: if your pookie ( glass pipe ) turns dark inside the bubble after smoking some , Bad

if it just burns away quickly , no good!!!

real meth will re crystalize , quickly and clear or at least white, and it should start forming a pattern of lines, like spokes on a bicycle.

if brown spots form instead of lines, guess what , yep bad.

Real meth will smoke easy, and you cant really fuck it up , on the other hand fake shit will run away from the flame and will be hard to smoke , bad shit will run up the side and wont stay on the bottom of the bubble.

real stuff will stay in one spot .

I hope this helps, a lot of bullshit is being sold as meth, do not fall into this trap, buying it is worse than throwing your money away, it far worse because the effects of smoking fake dope are horrible, it causes depression, fatigue, a feeling of worthlessness, and then you are in a bad funk, worse than you felt prior , becarefull and dont be affraid to tell your conection NO!

thats the only way to keep dealers straight, because time and time again , they will sell you good shit at first, then as you become a loyal customer they will start giving you adulterated shit, and if you dont speak up and complain, they know you dont know good from bad and the shit will always be fucked up from then on.

if you speak up and stop buying their crap, they will come out with the real stuff , I have beenthere

samurai jack au where jack is captured by aku and brainwashed to become his top assassin, and the rest of the world thinks he either died/has gone into hiding. the daughters of aku are instead the daughters of light, trained at birth to find and protect jack, who went “missing” 25 years ago (opposed to 50 yrs so people like the scotsman can be in this au and aren’t 80) and have to fight him, not knowing he’s the man they are sworn to protect. click on the images for nicer quality!

Something There

Pairing: Dean x Reader

Warnings: excessive eye rolling and fluff

Word Count: 1305

A/N: So for my birthday I went to see “Beauty and the Beast” and I’m obsessed! My sister gave me this little idea and I just HAD to write it!!! Enjoy!!

A movie date was not normal for Y/N and Dean, but she was insistent on wanting to go see something, anything! How many more times could they really watch what they had in their small collection at the bunker?

Y/N had taken the initiative to purchase tickets ahead of time for the movie that caught her attention and only hoped that she could get Dean in there without a fuss.

Distracting him the snack purchases, he never questioned what they were seeing until the previews started running. Glancing around he noticed there were a large number of children and women. Brows furrowed he elbowed Y/N. “What did you say we were seeing?”

Y/N stiffened. “Uh, I didn’t say.”

“Y/N, what kind of mo-” He started to ask, but as the theater darkened further, his question was answered as the intro played.

Y/N kept track of Dean out of the corner of her eye, but was quickly being pulled to the screen, not particularly concerned if he liked it or not.

“Seriously?!” He harshly whispered into her ear. “Beauty and the friggin’ Beast?!”

Just wanted to point out some banter with Varric and Solas

Solas: Is there at least a movement to reunite Orzammar and Kal-Sharok?
Varric: What is it with you, Chuckles? Why do you care so much about the dwarves?
Solas: Once, in the Fade, I saw the memory of a man who lived alone on an island. Most of his tribe had fallen to beasts or disease. His wife had died in childbirth. He was the only one left. He could have struck out on his own to find a new land, new people. But he stayed. He spent every day catching fish in a little boat, every night drinking fermented fruit juice and watching the stars.
Varric: I can think of worse lives.
Solas: How can you be happy surrendering, knowing it will all end with you? How can you not fight?
Varric: I suppose it depends on the quality of the fermented fruit juice.
Solas: So it seems.

And

Varric: What’s with you and the doom stuff? Are you always this cheery or is the hole in the sky getting to you?
Solas: I’ve no idea what you mean.
Varric: All the “fallen empire” crap you go on about. What’s so great about empires anyway?
Varric: So we lost the Deep Roads, and Orzammar’s too proud to ask for help. So what? We’re not Orzammar and we’re not our empire.
Varric: There are tens of thousands of us living up here in the sunlight now, and it’s not that bad.
Varric: Life goes on. It’s just different than it used to be.
Solas: And you have no concept of what that difference cost you.
Varric: Oh I know what it didn’t cost me. I’m still here, even after all those thaigs fell.
Solas: You truly are content to sit in the sun, never wondering what you could’ve been, never fighting back?
Varric: Ha, you’ve got it all wrong, Chuckles. This is fighting back.
Solas: How does passively accepting your fate constitute a fight?
Varric: In that story of yours—the fisherman watching the stars, dying alone—you thought he gave up right?
Solas: Yes.
Varric: But he went on living. He lost everyone, but he still got up every morning. He made a life, even if it was alone.
Varric: That’s the world. Everything you build, it tears down. Everything you’ve got, it takes—and it’s gone forever.
Varric: The only choices you get are to lie down and die or keep going. He kept going. That’s as close to beating the world as anyone gets.
Solas: Well said. Perhaps I was mistaken.

EDIT: Updated version here

So @kyleehenke finished up her Persona 5 Snapchat LP and despite the fact that My Heart Will Go On seems to be the song she ended up associating with it the most, my ears and inspiration were drawn to the song she sang in regards to my son Goro Akechi, and then posted the audio of afterwards.

That song was Wait For It, from the musical Hamilton, a phenomenon I had mostly ignored due to not liking the few tracks I had heard. Wait For It was a complete shell shock, and as I listened to it, I realized I was getting ideas of lyric comics again, which never seemed to end well for me in the past.

But by sheer force of Senpai Notice Me, I managed to crank out vaguely decent sketches for the first verse and chorus. I’m sorry for anyone viewing this on their dash, but this is going to be a long post.

For best results, here’s a link to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReTP6x_sDiM

Hopefully the power of Senpai Notice Me will keep me going until I actually finish it. Who knows. The quality is pretty garbage because I was fool enough to make this mostly double-sided and completely on notebook paper, but hopefully I managed to make it work well enough.

Thanks for the inspiration, Kylee. C:

What do I do if someone tries to steal my art?

Do you mean, what do you do if someone tries to take credit for your art, like if they post it on their page and claims they drew it?  Or do you mean, what do you do if someone reposts/uploads it elsewhere?

If they claimed they drew your picture, report them immediately.  They know what they did and they did it anyway.  (Same goes for tracing, IMO.  Traced art should NOT be posted online; that’s plagiarism)

For reposting (aka. someone else uploading your art onto a different website such as Instagram) you should first decide what your reposting policy will be.

  • Some artists allow people to post their art on different websites if they ask for permission.
  • Some artists don’t require people to ask for permission but ask that they credit/link back to their website.
  • Some artists only allow reposting on certain websites, but not others such as Youtube, which can be used to make money off of others’ artwork.
  • Some artists want their work to stay on their own website only, and don’t want other people to post elsewhere. (aka no reposting, period)

One thing you will want to do is make sure you write down your reposting policy on your blog, somewhere easy to find, like the front page, or on your About Me/Info, etc.

Another thing is SIGN YOUR ARTWORK, it is soooo important!  People aren’t always going to follow the rules.  They might have a repost of a repost of a repost they saw on Google somewhere and they won’t know where it originally came from because most people don’t bother to check.

Large signatures/watermarks can be kind of an eyesore (plus you’ll feel kind of bad you have to “ruin” your artwork), but you have to make sure it’ll still be visible enough even after the quality of the picture is turned to crap because it’s been screenshotted like 20 bajillion times on instagram.

Also, “unsightly” signatures/watermarks can help protect your picture from people using them in more nefarious ways, such as trying to sell t-shirts with YOUR design, or tote bags, mouse pads, etc.  Yes, they can still try to Photoshop them out, but if you put them somewhere difficult to remove then they probably won’t do a good job and it’ll look ugly.  So it’s worth a shot!

(I actually really love seeing watermarks/signatures because then I know where to go visit the artist and give them love directly)

Anyway, I hope this helps!

Animated Series Rapunzel

Pre Disney Trip, my girlfriend and I went to the Disney store to hyper her up.

And I screamed as soon as I saw the display.

Apologize the bad quality, I uploaded these through messenger first and it crapped on the quality for some reason. I knew I shoulda uploaded to tumblr first…. If you want any particular shots in better quality I can repost just a photo or two just let me know what you want to look at.

But I can’t really recreate in box for example.

The box is fairly plain. And I don’t see dolls THAT often that boast about articulation so that was awesome. Still cute though. Makes me want to finally get around to watching the series.

The first thing I realized when pulling her out was how the hair was arranged.

If you know anything about my regular blog @puff-pink Bonita is my fav monster high mostly because of her long hair.

Hair is extremely important in a Rapunzel doll.

I ripped her out and was gaping in happiness.

For comparison.

Like I’m screaming here.

IT’S SO LONG.

And golden.
Like I love the fact the stylization has gone into her hair color too. it also reminds me of her signature glow.

Of course the first thing I do with my dolls is strip.
So clothes are off. Her arm and hand detach much like other Disney Store dolls.

16 points of articulation!

Her feet can go flat! Which you know in a BAREFOOT CHARACTER IS IMPORTANT.
Sorry I’m just bitter about my other Punzie

Speaking of.

Fun fact I never bought Disney store one, my gf gave me her extra awhile ago.
Main reason,… I didn’t think it looked like her. Like at all.
I love love love this stylized version. Look at her hips!

So much cuter and ahh I love cartoony dolls.

She comes with a one piece two layered dress, frying pan, and Pascal. And a cute hair ornament that holds her side bangs back.

Rapunzel isn’t my favorite princess but she is the one I relate to the most.

I grew up very sheltered and whenever I confronted my parents about how all my other friends had more freedom than me, they still only reply “that’s because their parents don’t love them as much as we do”

When I met her face character at Disney World a couple of years ago I almost cried.

Tangled resonated with me hardcore, and it’s nice to have a better rendition of Rapunzel on my shelves.

I have no idea how this post is going to be received, but I’ve seen a few things today that set my teeth on edge.

This is a friendly reminder that fic writers and artists do what they do for free. People who run fic-finding blogs do what they do for free. People who make gifs do it for free. People who put together amazing rec lists do it for free. People who read and reblog every fic they come across do it for free. People who write amazingly-detailed, insightful or funny tags on their reblogs do it for free. And we get to enjoy the fruits of their labor. How cool is that? There’s so much amazing stuff out there for us to consume, and it doesn’t cost us a penny. It makes fandom fun and it makes fandom better.

And all of these people - the artists, the writers, the finders, the giffers, and the reccers - also have lives of their own. They go to school. They work full-time jobs. They have families and significant others and friends and hobbies. They have health problems. They have mental health issues. They have fandom for fun, and they have fandom to escape. Some people like to talk to anyone and everyone who hits up their inbox. Some people are more introverted. Some people prefer to keep a small circle of friends, or got cautious about making new friends after they’ve been burned a few times (haven’t we all run into toxic people online at some point?). Some people follow thousands of blogs. Some follow a few.

What they don’t have is a debt to fandom. They don’t actually owe anyone anything. Whether it’s an update on a multi-chapter, a response to a prompt, a new piece of art when someone requests it, a list of their favorite bed-sharing fics, a gifset, a like, a reblog, a comment, or a beta.

(I’m not saying that feedback or likes/reblogs/comments aren’t important, obviously. *waves* Hi, I write fic. Of course it’s important. That’s not why I’m writing this.)

A lot of times people expect these things, and in some cases people demand these things. It’s not cool. And when the artist/writer/blogger doesn’t deliver, they get anon hate and snotty comments. One of the biggest complaints I’ve seen in the fandom - that good fics by lesser-known authors get ignored - is trying to be addressed by a new blog specifically devoted to promoting these authors. Amazing idea, right? Someone saw a problem and is making a genuine, good-hearted effort to fix it.

That blog is less than a day old, and they’ve already gotten anon comments along the lines of, “Why bother? It won’t help,” and “Why are you waiting before you start reccing? There are authors need your help now.” I repeat: that blog is less than a day old. Someone decided to take time out of their life to try and shed a spotlight on new/lesser-known authors - for FREE - and they’re already getting shit on.

So, I’m a writer. I don’t know how “famous” I am, or how famous other people think I am. I follow very few blogs because 1) I tried following hundreds of people when I first started on Tumblr and it got incredibly overwhelming for me, 2) I’ve gradually whittled my dash down to be as drama-free as possible, and 3) I follow authors and artists who I know from experience post quality content that I know I’ll love. And frankly, I can’t even keep up with everything they post and feel like crap when I fall behind on fic-reading.

Y’all, I work full-time. I have friends IRL and online. I follow a few blogs that make me happy. I try to write. I have serious struggles with depression sometimes. I hang out with my asshole cats. And I am tired. I don’t live in an online bubble to deliberately exclude people. All I do is try to make an online experience for myself that makes fandom more enjoyable for me, rather than more stressful.

I… don’t have any sort of grand thesis or conclusion here, other than we need to be nice to each other, and maybe take other people’s experiences into account when evaluating their behavior. And please, if you find yourself getting angry at authors or artists or gif-makers or rec blogs, remember that you’re getting angry at people who spend hours producing content for you to enjoy, for free. They never had to give you anything, but they still do.
