the prophet pbuh

Narrated Abu Mas`ud Al-Ansari: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ”If one recites the last two Verses of Surat-al-Baqara at night, it is sufficient for him (for that night).” Sahih al-Bukhari 5040

Athkar & Invocations Series | 13

As I grow older, I understand why the Prophet (pbuh) said that whoever isn’t kind has no faith. Faith is kindness. If our faith doesn’t manifest itself through kindness, we’re doing something wrong. Our wounds thirst for kindness, our hearts yearn for it. Kindness. Even a small dose helps. Kindness. It’s what humanity needs most.

“He who marries a woman solely for her beauty will not find anything he likes in her, he who marries her for her wealth will be deprived of it as soon as he marries her, so look to marry women of faith.”

- Prophet Muhammad (saaw.)

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying “From among my followers, a group (of 70,000) will enter Paradise without being asked for their accounts, Their faces will be shining like the moon.” ‘Ukasha bin Muhsin Al-Asadi got up, lifting his covering sheet and said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) Invoke Allah for me that He may include me with them.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said! “O Allah! Make him from them.” Then another man from Al-Ansar got up and said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Invoke Allah for me that He may include me with them.” On that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “'Ukasha has anticipated you." Sahih al-Bukhari 5811

i’ll never forget when a woman on bill maher’s show (i think it was mona eltahawy or gloria) that mentioned how in islam the financier of the spreading of islam was actually Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) wife hazrat Khadija (AS). and maher looked to the audience and he was like

“ohhhh really??? well i’ll just have to confirm that myself” looking to the audience who was laughing with him with an expression like “yeah right that’s true!! as if islam!! could do that!!”

and like. it was so embarrassing for me to watch because maher, alongside his audience of young white “enlightened” men were so CONFIDENT that such a simple and basic and Level 1 fact that basically everyone knows to be true couldn’t ever exist.

and that’s bill maher’s audience in a nutshell: people who have this huge, ugly, total superiority complex about social issues but are 100% uninformed about anything they say.

Like basically anyone who knows even a smidge about islam knows it was the Prophet’s wife who first propagated the religion and that she was an incredibly successful and independent business woman. but bill maher, who white atheists look to as a source LMAO, isn’t even aware of this kindergarten level fact.

this man knows nothing. is an expert on nothing. he is simply a balding racist transphobic sexist pro-israel subpar comedian who simply says he’s “pro social justice” but actually has no clue. that’s all it is lmao.

This will never cease to strike my heart…

Once the Prophet (pbuh) was sitting in a room with Aisha (RA) and fixing his shoes. It was very warm, and Aisha looked to his blessed forehead and noticed that there were beads of sweat on it. She became overwhelmed by the majesty of that sight and was staring at him long enough for him to notice.

He said, “What’s the matter?” She replied, “If Abu Bukair Al-Huthali, the poet, saw you, he would know that his poem was written for you.” The Prophet (pbuh) asked, “What did he say?” She replied, “Abu Bukair said that if you looked to the majesty of the moon, it twinkles and lights up the world for everybody to see.” So the Prophet (pbuh) got up, walked to Aisha, kissed her between the eyes, and said, “Wallahi ya Aisha, you are like that to me and more.”

(Narrated in Dala'el Al-Nubuwa for Imam Abu Nu'aim with isnad including Imam Bukhari and Imam Ibn Khuzaina)

There is no place for racism in Islam.

“They asked me what about the Hajj had impressed me the most. I said, the brotherhood! The people from all races, colours, from all over the world, coming together as one! It has proved to me the power of the One God. All ate as one, and slept as one. Everything about the pilgrimage atmosphere accented the oneness of man under One God.”

— Malcolm X on his journey to Mecca, 1964.

Narrated `Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was in good health, he used to say, “No prophet’s soul is ever captured unless he is shown his place in Paradise and given the option (to die or survive).” So when the death of the Prophet (ﷺ) approached and his head was on my thigh, he became unconscious for a while and then he came to his senses and fixed his eyes on the ceiling and said, “O Allah (with) the highest companions.” (See Qur'an 4:69). I said’ “Hence he is not going to choose us.” And I came to know that it was the application of the narration which he (the Prophet) used to narrate to us. And that was the last statement of the Prophet (before his death) i.e., “O Allah! With the highest companions.” (See Qur'an 4:69). Sahih al-Bukhari 6509
