Summary: Looking at the gloomy door beside you, you honestly weren’t sure what type of person lived there. However when you come home late and find a stranger outside your door, you realized that maybe your neighbor wasn’t as weird as you thought he’d be.

You lived in a neighborhood that prided itself on its friendly neighbors and happy environment. Nearly everyone knows each other in the apartment complex and no matter how unsociable, they were still willing to chat if you ran into them. On holidays, doors would be carefully decorated and there would even be a friendly building get together that welcomed everyone. But in large groups, there is always an outlier and that outlier lived beside you.

Draco: Mother, father, thank you for meeting me here today. It means a lot to me that you took the time to clear your schedule for this conversation.

Narcissa: *gives a look*

Lucius: What is it that you wanted to talk about, Draco?

Draco: Recently it has come to my attention that there are certain expectations you have for me

Draco: *deep breath* Expectations concerning family and the continuance of the Malfoy line that I am unable to fulfill due to previously unexamined outliers

Narcissa: *knowing look*

Lucius: Has there been an accident?!

Narcissa: *pats husbands hand*

Draco: No…. no accident, more like a happy revelation.

Lucius: I don’t understand.

Draco:  I’m gay.

Narcissa: … and this is a new revelation?

Draco: Mum!

Lucius: This is completely unacceptable! It is your job, as the heir to the Malfoy name, to continue our legacy and–

Narcissa: What your father is trying to say is that If you are happy, then we are happy for you.

Lucius: I said no such–

Narcissa: Your father would also like you to know that he trusts your judgment is better than his has been and he is happy for you

Lucius: *pouting*

Narcissa: So, what is his name?

Draco: Well….

Honestly?  The ultimate 1D dream:

  • No stalkers
  • Harry and Louis being at ease, and interacting without looking off screen every five seconds at someone behind the camera
  • MITAM tour with Olivia and Long Way Down, and A.M. with everyone feeling nostalgic and emotional
  • Not having to place Harry and Louis at different parts of the world before something happens; they’re band members for goodness sake
  • More band interactions through social media from all of them, instead having to rely on Niall, the official 1D selfie taker, for it all.
  • Interviews they actually enjoy with no intrusive questions/obnoxious interviewers
  • All the boys getting equal vocal time on the upcoming album
  • OT4 being their own opening act and doing some solo stuff during the MITAM tour with the other boys being their hype men :(
  • 1D Day 2.0
  • A team that respects them/their intellect/experience/input
  • happy boys happy fandom :))))
Can Yuuri break Victor’s FS World Record

lol it’s me again. YoI ep 12 is about 24 hours away and even tho based on my rant here I have come to a conclusion that YoI have different scoring system than IRL (or maybe ep 11 is an outlier and shouldn’t have been counted lol) I’m gonna have fun with the scores anyway.

Also, for @measuredoutinteaspoons hope this answers your question haha.

This is Yuri on Ice FS program that somehow missing Step Sequence (lol Victor get ur shit together ffs). We know from ep. 1, Victor’s Combined Total score in last year GPF is 335.76. I did the calc for his SP here from ep 4 screenshot and it was 113.20. So, his FS is 222.56.

Is 222.56 a WR? Who knows. Maybe… In Rostelecom Cup we didn’t know JJ’s score but Yurio got 199.87 and placed second. I’m gonna have 222.56 as current WR for the sake of convenience lmao.

Alright, say… if Yuuri does perform Yuri on Ice perfectly (all GOE+3) and all his spins and step sequence is level 4, we’ll get this:

So 230.28 is the max score for the program. But this is unrealistic as hell lmao (not as impossible as Yurio, but still… lol).

Tho, if he want to kick it up a notch, he could change the 3Lo into 4T and 3Lz+3T to 3Lz+3Lo which gives him +6.08 points that brings it to 236.36

*Victor’s ‘wow!’*

Given that Yuuri has history of underscoring, personally, I think he should go for 4 quads (my suggestion above) and the program will probably look like this.

Which means, yeah, with the inhuman current program (all lv 4 and GOE+3) and modified one (reasonable level and GOE but 4 quads), it is possible to break WR. And personally, I believe Yuuri will either way :D

Can’t wait tbh. Go Yuuri, go.

“average ancient greek general founded 3 cities named after himself” factoid actualy just statistical error. the median greek general founded 0 cities named after himself. Alexander the Great, who conquered the Achaemenid Persian Empire and founded over 10,000 Alexandrias in his lifetime, was a statistical outlier adn should not have been counted

why it would be pointless to queerbait tjlc fans:

the idea that sherlock is trying to queerbait fans who believe in tjlc to get higher viewership is honestly ridiculous to me. there aren’t even that many people out there who believe in tjlc??? nattie’s “operation johnlock is go” post only reached 12k notes, and the iconic “softly softly” meta didn’t even reach 4000. there may be a couple thousand lurkers who don’t reblog or don’t have accounts, but not enough to make tjlc fans a significant contingent.

outside of tumblr, the tjlc explained youtube channel reaches some more people, but is still under 12k subscribers and most videos reach 10,000 to 25,000 views (there are a couple that almost reached 40,000 and one outlier that hit 66,000), and not all of those people are convinced.

these numbers are NOTHING compared to the number of people who watch this show. 7.5 MILLION people watched asip, the very first episode on the day it premiered. season two averaged 8 MILLION viewers. 12.7 MILLION PEOPLE watched teh on bbc1 when it aired. 8.4 MILLION people watched tab on new year’s day, and 11.6 million watched it that same week. none of this includes viewing figures through streaming services like netflix or ratings abroad (millions more people watched the episodes on PBS). tab grossed over £30,000,000 worldwide.

if you’re feeling very generous and assume there’s about 50,000 people who believe in tjlc, and only count viewership on bbc1 when the episodes first air, we make up between 0.3 and 0.6% of the audience. in reality that percentage is probably much lower.

all analysis of the show’s content aside, what reason would they have to queerbait us? what value is less than 1% of the audience to them? how could such a relatively small and powerless group “bully” the creators into changing the direction of the show? why would they ever cater to what we want them to do (canon johnlock) unless they have been planning this (canon johnlock) the whole time?

“average overwatch character has three minutes of objective time per game” factoid actualy just statistical error. average overwatch character has less than ten seconds of objective time per game. Lúcio Georg, who lives in payload and has over ten minutes of objective time per game, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

So I’m not saying we need a “soft spoken boy from an RPG Maker Game with Creepy Elements who has blue eyes and shaggy blond hair from Probably Europe^tm who is barely a (fancily dressed) teenager, whose tragic past has led to misfortune for not only him but several people around him (because of death and forces beyond his control), and it falls to him to deal with its consequences in the present” support group…

The first time Nursey saw one of those movies where someone drove out to some middle-of-nowhere field and screamed, all he could think was, wow, that’s fucking genius.

As a 15 year old, he was full of annoyances and frustration, but as the only black kid in a place like Andover, he was overflowing with anger and a bullshit sense of otherness they’d forced on him. He wished he could be the guy in that movie, shouting his frustrations out into the void where he couldn’t be judged for it.

At 16 years old, the day he got his driver’s license, he drove to an old farm that’d been abandoned for years a few miles outside the city, and he let everything come pouring out of him. Rich, entitled white kids and their equally shitty parents, his fear of anyone finding out he was queer and becoming even more of an outlier, his mind numbing anxiety about his future.

He was there for two hours. He screamed, and he screamed some more, and then he laughed. He laughed and fell back onto the ground, because fuck, that felt good. Nobody heard it, nobody knew he was anything but the chill facade he’d kept up for years, but he still felt lighter than he had since he was a little kid.

The first time anyone came with him on one of these nights was at Samwell. He’d gotten stoned with Lardo, and he was sat on the couch watching a movie, pleasantly fuzzy, when Chowder slammed the front door of the house and stalked in, pausing and forcing his face into something happier when he saw Nursey.

“Hey,” he said, a tight smile on his face.

Nursey shook his head and stood, grabbing Chowder by the arm and dragging him outside.

“Get in,” he said, nodding towards his car. “You’re driving because I smoked with Lards earlier. I’ll tell you where to go. It’ll make you feel better, I swear.”

Chowder nodded and opened the door on the driver’s side, hopping in and waiting for Nursey to follow and hand him the keys. Nursey did so, and Chowder started the car, pulling away from the Haus and following Nursey’s directions.

Nursey directed him to a grassy hilltop half an hour away from Samwell, and ignored Chowder’s confused expression, sliding out of the car and walking to the peak of it. Chowder followed him and stood next to him, unsure of what they were doing here.

“I know it’s cliché as fuck and something straight out of teenage movies, but this shit works,” he said. “Just fucking scream man. Doesn’t even have to be words, if you don’t want it to be, it’s just the best thing to get everything out.”

Chowder nodded and took a deep breath, shouting in the direction of the trees. There weren’t any words, just a frustrated scream into the air.

“Hell yeah!” Nursey shouted when Chowder was done, clapping him on the back. “It helps, right?”

Chowder nodded, his face surprised.

“You do this a lot?” he asked.

“Not as much as I used to, but yeah. How do you think I can be so chill when people are being pieces of shit? I get to come here and scream about how shit they are afterwards,” he said, nodding his head.

Chowder laughed, smiling as he yelled again, though this time it was a “Fuck you, Williams!”

Nursey lost it at that, flopping down onto the ground and cackling. He cupped his hands around his mouth, a smile on his face, shouting, “Yeah, fuck you, whoever the fuck you are!”

Chowder sat next to him, out of breath from laughing, and laid his head on Nursey’s shoulder.

“Thanks for this,” he said, a small smile on his face.

“Anytime, man. Just don’t tell anyone about this place. Except maybe Lardo,” Nursey told him.

“Nobody else knows?” Chowder asked, his surprise evident in his voice.

“Hell no, who else would I bring? Everybody else has a way of dealing with their shit.”

Chowder nodded.

“Lardo would think you’re a genius,” he said.

“Probably. I’ll bring her too next time.”

When they did bring Lardo, she put them both to shame, screaming about everything that pissed her off until her voice went hoarse. And she did, in fact, think Nursey was a genius for it.
