the national is love

My best friend. My sweetheart. My soulmate. Halle Doore you have given me two of the happiest years of my life. Looking back, more than ten years ago when we met at jr high volleyball tryouts, we never would’ve guessed that we’d be here celebrating our two year anniversary. I’m forever grateful for everything you do for me. From encouraging me in my work, health, and interests, you are the best girlfriend anyone could ever ask for. Let’s add a 0 to that 2.. And many more 😉❤️

So this weekend my beautiful girl and I spent our two year anniversary in the city. We had a romantic dinner at the Calgary tower, went to the casino, went shopping, went swimming/hot tub, went shopping, and played zombies in spaceland (being the nerds we are we brought our PS4 to the hotel with us lol). All in all it was a perfect weekend as we celebrated our love 😌❤️
Ps: June is now my favourite month, as its our anniversary, pride, and national aboriginal day lol

I tried to tell Quincy that we were standing in front of natural treasure and that we should appreciate it. He continued to pose with this vaguely indifferent expression, effectively rendering all of my photos useless.

A blond-haired, blue-eyed actor named Chris is playing an American named Steve, who’s fighting in a world war. Along the way, he meets a scary foreign brunette woman and takes an unlikely band of friends of different nationalities through an event, and goes up against a couple of Germans, one large and deranged, one smaller and a scientist. Steve, at some point, hijacks a plane and destroys it (and a weapon) for the greater good. Someone is looking back at it from the future, and will eventually team up with a millionaire with daddy issues and cool toys. There’s also a shield involved.

Am I talking about Captain America: The First Avenger, or Wonder Woman?

My country is celebrating 100 years of independence this year and we are also achieving marriage equality on the 1st of March. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our achievements as a nation than celebrating equality and human rights. Congratulations, Finland, may there be many more victories such as this and may your freedom last a thousand years!

(yes, the Finnish flag appears backwards because she’s waving it around)
