the movie that changed my life

anonymous asked:

The song fy faen is so relevant for Sana right now. Lyrics that really stood out to me. Part 1 Because we live to die Until we melt away like snow And they are looking for mistakes But I flip my fingers To make my way. When everybody asks you to stop Forget it and focus and work Because jealousy, it burns Though many bridges gotta burn So not all are friends They are all snakes, so it is totally normal. Nobody here has time for an unsuccessful day .These days everybody is giving me headache

The anon from earlier about the fy faen song. Part 2 Some talk a lot A lot behind my back Talk a lot on the phone Still on it and they squander their life A change has to happen Know it’s a cliché This is not a movie So sit down and listen while I do my thing Many of my boys have started to hustle these days. Snakes come and go like a boomerang Gonna show everyone, because I have a plan The song is totally about Sana and the girl squad and the Pepsi max girls.

Yeah the first episode really drove home the theme of friends not being good friends to each other. (Vilde’s text ‘we are such good friends!’ brought that home too.)

Yes this song really seems thematic.

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Six

-A woman’s total came out to $6.32. She handed me $5.07 and waited patiently for her change. I let her know that there was $1.25 left, to which she let me know that this was the correct amount for her to receive back. Upon getting my point across, she handed me $1.00 more. Hesitantly, I pointed out the discrepancy, at which point she took the balance out of my hand and passed me a crisp ten.

-A bouncing baby with, what I suspected to be, a full diaper, showed me his talent of fitting his entire fist inside his mouth. Already, he has accomplished more in life than I could ever dream of achieving.

-When asked how she was today, a woman replied with only silence and a single thumb raised to the sky. This fleeting moment spoke volumes more than any mere words could.

-In one of the most tragic moments I have yet to witness, a jar of salsa slid out of a man’s cart and shattered into thousands of spicy shards, spraying all over his sandal-clad feet. This was not a tragedy for his loss of mild picante pleasure, nor did the sadness lie in the hot mess left for me to clean. The deeply troubling nature of the situation stemmed entirely from the squelches that accompanied each of his steps after.

-A man asked me not to bag any of his items, as he had, instead, brought along with him a large bucket.

-A five year-old girl approached my register, got up on her toes to rest her arm along the bar, and, holding up five of her little fingers, ordered as many stickers, to go. With a flick of my wrist and a wink of my eye, I served up this order, receiving only a blank expression in return. True artistes are never appreciated in their time, but I will never give up the Craft of Flair.

-I handed a child a sticker. His mother prompted him to thank me. When he did not, his mother revoked his sticker privilege and insisted that he say his thanks. Instead, he turned to me, looked directly into my eyes, and said, “Voodoo.” I deeply wish she had just let him keep the sticker. Another curse is the last thing I need right now.

-I saw a man in his eighties walk into the airlock at the store’s entrance, perch himself upon a motorized cart, and drift swiftly to sleep. I want this man to take me under his wing and teach me, as I could never achieve such sound slumber so speedily in such a trafficked place, but I know that I can never ask him as much. That would involve waking him up, and that simply will not do.

-I watched a young boy walk up to my lane, brandishing a pixelated sword from Minecraft and a Peter Quill mask from Guardians of the Galaxy. He asked me if I could ring up his aforementioned “Star Wars toys”, and after a brief pause, if I had heard of that new movie about the galaxy guards. When I told him that I had, he informed me that he was, in fact, the guy from that. Naturally, I was starstruck and asked him for more details. This rare celeb sighting was sadly cut short, as Star-Lord’s dad leaned over my counter, stole my hand sanitizer, and demanded to know what exactly was with these credit card chips he kept hearing about everywhere.

-A newborn child, scarcely two months-old, rolled through my lane and, in the moments that followed, changed my life. I smiled. She giggled. I waved my hand. She waved her foot. I stuck my tongue out. She waved both her feet. This is now, and will forever be, our secret handshake.

Day One Hundred and One

-Upon noticing my distinct lack of a thick southern accent, an elderly woman began to interrogate me about every aspect of my life, from my family to my academic career. She then asked how I liked the area. I told her that it was different. She yelled at me for being politically correct. This is about how I saw the conversation going.

-I mistakenly called an older gentleman “Ma'am”. I did not realize that he was not a ma'am for a solid fifteen seconds. During this eternity, we were looking each other dead in the eye, waiting in silence for one of us to say something. I desperately hoped for a commercial break, as there was no way I was getting out of this one.

-A man expressed his frustrations that if you press the cancel button while paying, it will cancel your payment. I agree with him and believe that anything that will cancel your payment should be plainly labeled as such.

-Two soccer moms discussed their children’s extracurriculars in front of me. One asked the other, “What about soccer camp?” To this she got the reply, “We can’t do it. I’m afraid it might lead into them starting softball.” I completely sympathize with this woman. Volleyball is a gateway sport and should be avoided at all costs.

-A magazine cover at my register advertised the upcoming Beauty and the Beast movie as “The Story Of A Fairy Tale.” This is also known as “A Fairy Tale.”

-I came across a large stockpile of pineapple coconut water that expired in August of 2015. No one is quite sure why we have it, but if anyone PayPals me ten dollars, I am prepared to drink it all.

-I stuck my tongue out at an infant, and the giggle he let out changed my life. I am certain that if we gave a microphone to this joyful bundle of purity, we could end war, put a stop to hate in all forms, and even convince the Toupeed Tic Tac in Chief to step down from office.

-A man grew tired of waiting behind the woman I was ringing up and left to a different lane. The woman almost immediately completed her transaction, and, as someone steps behind him to block him in, other guests take up the premium place in line that could have been his. He shook his head in shame and gave up on his purchase entirely, leaving his items behind as he left the store in a wholly relatable cloud of agony.

Happy 2nd birthday, Cinderella 2015! (March 13, 2015) with some of my favorite tags from last year’s post:

#such a pure movie #this movie is my life #this movie changed me #the costumes are enough reason to watch this #I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH #perfection  #THIS WAS SUCH AN UNDERRATED MOVIE #i love this film so much it’s so magical #what precious children #i should watch it again tonight to celebrate

Meeting you was like watching a movie that Iโ€™m uninterested with but, ended up being as my favorite. You were ordinary as I saw you for the first time. You entered the room wearing worn out pants, work-appropriate shirt and your gestures showed how nervous you were. I fell in love with your silent face. As time goes by, you introduced me to your paradise. And now, your smile is my favorite part of the day. You are the best scene that Iโ€™d watch all over again. You are a divine creation. I never thought Iโ€™d lay these eyes off of someone as I do, with you.
Meeting you was such a beautiful encounter. You donโ€™t know how beautiful you are whenever you walk around the room, and you made me feel a little crazy when you smile back at me. Oh, you are clueless how it melts my heart every time and how you give chills right down to my spine. I know, you are wondering why I canโ€™t look straight at your eyes whenever we talk. I just donโ€™t want to exhaust every star that is forming inside. Because you are slowly becoming the universe to them.
Meeting you was something Iโ€™d be forever grateful. Your name is my favorite word, looking at you when youโ€™re not looking at me is my favorite habit. Your voice creates lovely symphonies in my head. I havenโ€™t seen such colors like yours before, and Iโ€™d be perfect if you paint my life with them. I donโ€™t know if we have met somewhere in my deepest dreams, but Iโ€™m glad we met here. If this was a movie, you were my favorite part of it.

So are you Jewish just because Jake Gyllenhaal is Jewish or...

Great question! Despite my parents and every single other member of my entire family being Jewish, I, as a small infant, decided to became a proper Jew because I, a newborn child born into a Jewish family before Jake Gyllenhaal had even starred in a movie, thought that if Jake Gyllenhaal was doing it, I must do it too. In fact, I base all my life decisions on what Jake Gyllenhaal does. At the age of 5 I decided to change my ethnicity to Swedish and English and Swiss-German because Jake is Swedish and English and Swiss-German. Also, I loved Jake’s role in the 2005 film “Brokeback Mountain”, an emotional story about two gay cowboys, and Jake’s dedication and acceptance towards the gays that I even decided to become one myself (a gay). Everything I do is based around Jake Gyllenhaal.

Last day of @starcoweek3: Au of choice and as always I love to participate in this prompt ( ^ w ^ )

I have no idea what au pick for this one, so I made a “movie au”: Kimi no na wa AU I don’t know if you ever see this movie from “Makoto Shinkai” it does not matter if you don’t like anime, bacuse this movie worth it, is beautiful and have a really good story.

I you alredy see the movie, you know how this AU works, and if not let me explain you: Star is a girl who leaves in another dimension, Marco is a boy who leaves in the earth. One day Marco wakes up in the body of star and Star wakes up in the body of Marco, this event star to repeat some days and unable to stop it they decide to live the lives of each in a “normal” way during these body changes WITH a simple rule not interfere in the other’s life.

You can know what happends afters so yeah. Like always I have troubles with backgrounds, I made my best uwu. I have fun drawing this and also I have fun in all the week (´。• ω •。`) I’ll be waiting for the next starco week   d(°∀° )

im wondering why im so bad at adult tours at work…

then i realize i havent done an adult tour in 2.5 weeks and will not have another one for 2 months. okay, maybe just one between now and then.

i dont know how to change that because zoos really appeal more to children, not so much adults.

adult tour requests have declined in popularity within the recent years. theyre
not appealing anymore.

how can i encourage adults to learn about animals?

what would you enjoy to see/do at a zoo?
