the most noble of you in the sight of allah is the most righteous of you

Salam ! (i love u) I have a question about interracial marriage.. do you have any hadiths or verses in the Quran backing up the idea that interracial marriage is encouraged in Islam?? Thank you

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. [Quran 49:13]
Also, Prophet Mohammed pbuh married women of different races and tribes. Maria (RA) was Native Egyptian and  Safia (RA) was Jewish from the Israelites. They both converted to islam.

SWORD VERSES EXPLAINED ♥ it’s by time people understand ♥

2:191
…and turn them out from where they have turned you out…

2:192
And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

2:193
Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.

What do these verses mean and what was the context?

The Muslim people were and have been oppressed World Wide, and during the time of The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), when these verses were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Muslims were under threat.

How where they under threat?

“Muslims were exiled from Makkah, where the Pagans had established an intolerant autocracy, persecuting Muslims, preventing them from visiting their homes, and even keeping them out by force from performing the Pilgrimage during the universally recognized period of truce. This was intolerance, oppression and autocracy to the last degree… “

So what exactly was God Allowing with these verses at that time?

God is saying, stand up for yourself when people are driving you out of your home (only if they are driving you out), but if they stop then you stop, because God is Most Merciful.

Why couldn’t the Muslims just wait until they either all died, had no possessions or family left?

God says in the Quran why:

2:217
..Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith…

So basically it was die, or give up what you believed in. Be tortured, forced from your home, see your family and friends perish, or give up what you believe in… Humans in such oppressive situations are allowed to defend themselves, it’s only just and humane.

So what about everyone that died and was oppressed? What does God say about those Muslims?

2:218
Those who believed and those who suffered exile and fought (and strove and struggled) in the Path Of Allah - they have hope of the Mercy of Allah, and Allah is Oft - Forgiving, Most Merciful.

NO WE CANNOT drive other people out of their homes, as said in the verses above:

2:191
…and turn them out from where they have turned you out…

And we HAVE TO STOP if they stop, which means WE CANNOT START a war OR CONTINUE a war:

2:192
And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

2:193
…But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.

No we cannot start a war on random innocent people who haven’t done anything, it is against our religion.

2:143
[cont] For Allah is to all people most surely full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
(the above verse is taken from THE SAME CHAPTER as the sword verses.)

We can only defend ourselves, it is a right of a human to be able to defend themselves if they are being unfairly oppressed and driven out of their homes. Whether you are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or any other human, you cannot and should not be driven out of your home by anyone, it is unfair.

2:195
…But do good, for Allah loveth those who do good.
(This verse is taken from THE SAME CHAPTER, just 2 or so verses after the sword verses.)

Don’t listen to the media, find out for yourself, look at the CONTEXT of the verses if you are wise, do not just be fed information and accept it without questioning why. Please.

2:213
Mankind was one single nation…

Anyone who calls themselves Muslim, but acts in ANY oppressive manner, they are not Muslim, they are hypocrites, and the Quran speaks about them:

63:1
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, “We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah .” And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

63:2
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

Side thought:
When Hitler oppressed the Jews, they had a right to fight back and they were seen as Heros. So it should be the same for the rest of mankind, whatever your nationality, if you are being oppressed you have a right and a voice to stand up for yourself.

Quran (49:13)

Can we all live in peace now? In shaa Allah ♥

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. [Quran 49:13]

“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.” - Holy Quran 49:13❤️

There is thus ZERO tolerance for racism in Islam.

This sight is worth a reflection. What a beautiful image of Islam subhannaAllah. No flag, ethnicity, or social class separating us. The poor and rich stand together. All of us shoulder to shoulder as one. The Arab and non-Arab together. The black and white together. Many of us have lost this spirit of brotherhood and chose to adopt a selfish identity based on nationalism. Remember always how great his deen is. It came to unite our hearts on ‘لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الله’. Never lose track of that.

{ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ }

Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. [Qur'an 49:13]
