Take a look at all of the amazing things that you have done up to this point. Yes, there may be bad decisions and mistakes scattered here and there, however these do not erase all of the good that you have done. Allow your positive actions to shine through, radiate your soul, and continuously remind yourself that you are always capable of truly amazing things.
Take a moment. Really. Are you being too harsh on yourself? Remember that you must give yourself enough time to grow. You must show yourself patience. Unconditional love. Acceptance. Showing hostility towards yourself will not speed up your growth, but only dampen it. So remember, handle yourself delicately, and give yourself some more credit.
It’s true that you really are your own worst critic.
Because it is only you that is able to see every little flaw that you may have.
You are the only one that hears each and every one of your thoughts.
It is you who can speak, say, and criticize yourself without anything being around to stop you from doing so.
Yet, you are the only one who is able to control your worst critic.
Instead of listening to words of shame, defeat, and failure, choose to listen to those of encouragment, self respect, and wisdom.
Choose to listen to your higher voice. Your biggest supporter. Your strongest nurturer.
You only deserve to hear the best from yourself; whether it’s to grow or to learn. So please, listen to your best self,
And banish your worst critic from your life.
i imagine this taking place in a relatively early cycle when merle, like….was off doing merle things; iirc, taako doesn’t have THAT many deaths under his belt, so losing him was probably hard to get used to. i also headcanon that it wasn’t often that the taaco twins didn’t go down together. so. here’s this.
also do consider full-viewing; i overestimated how large the panels would look.
it’s such a strange thing that we care about what we look like. like have you ever just considered that cavemen didn’t have mirrors or cameras or anything to see themselves up close with and they didn’t even care about what they looked like? we literally come from the universe, all of us, and we have most of the same basic parts/appearance but otherwise we look different. our skin and eye colours change based on where we live to protect us from harm and ours cells join together different to give us our other differences in appearance. we’re just built the way we are to survive as every other animal is. when did we go from recognizing our bodies for their health and grace and strength and resiliency to picking them apart and criticizing them and starving ourselves to eliminate parts of them and comparing them to others? when money became the vital part of owning anything and therefore critiquing bodies and selling products to combat these new flaws was a new marketing technique to make tons of it. they made something so unimportant a crucial part of life and i think it’s pure bullshit. don’t even just love your body but realize that its appearance is actually such a stupid thing to waste your energy caring about.
Disclaimer: Everyone’s astral experiences are different. While the astralling community may agree for the most part on the following things, you may still experience and believe different things. And that’s okay! ;D *musical flourish*
Your astral body can be wildly different from your physical body:
Sexual and romantic tastes can differ between astral and physical.
Gender and sex can differ between astral and physical.
Shapeshifting is possible with the astral body.
Even throughout different lives and forms, your being has a core that remains unchanged. This could be known as a “soul”.
There are different kinds of astral bodies/astral experiences:
Some astralling is not permanent; you make a body to astral temporarily and it vanishes/dissolves when you’re done.
Some astralling is semi-permanent; you have an astral self that’s “stored” in your physical body.
Then there’s physical semi-permanent where, on physical realms, you form a physical body but it’s only active when you use it.
there’s permanent-permanent when you’re “tuning into” another
body/consciousness with its own life that does its own thing even when
not in use.
Your astral body and physical body can influence each other:
Injury/sickness in astral can affect physical. For example, many people who have been in astral fights wake up the next morning with pains where they were hurt in battle.
Injury/sickness in the physical can affect the astral, but not as much as the reverse (as limbs can be regrown, the body is very “fluid”, etc.). For example, if you are sick in the physical, parasites may show up in your astral body, it may be harder for you to connect to your astral body, your astral vision may become blurry, etc.
You can get used to being one way in astral and then feel “off” when returning to the physical. You can have wings in the astral and then feel like you’re missing something when you return to your physical body.
If the astral body is killed or destroyed, it can regenerate using the physical body’s energy.
Your astral body can change depending on where you are:
You can remember some things better in the astral (past lives, astral experiences) than in the physical. They may be weakened, lost, or harder to recall when returning to the physical.
This is applicable to specific realms as well. If you have a fae-touched soul, for example, you may recall past lives while travelling to fae realms.
You may also experience shifts in your astral form depending on location. Some fae-touched people’s forms change when they are in their fae homeworlds.
Different astral realms differ in their effects on one’s astral body. Some things may be possible in one realm but not another. This can also be tied to one’s energetic makeup. For example, someone with angelic energies might have a hard time shapeshifting when in Hell.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the information!~
Sometimes it’s necessary to check and make sure that you yourself have both feet planted on the ground; that you are secure. Are you genuinely happy? Healthy? Do you have a well balanced state of mind? Life can be both exciting, demanding, and draining; thus, it’s important that you are taken care of and ready to take on everything that it has to offer to you.
