the magic knot

A clearer photo of my pocket altar.
I added some more to it and I am fairly confident that it’s finished.
My pocket altar includes:
- jar of protection salt
- jar of dried lavender
- jar of Flying Devil oil
- tealight candle
- white sage incense cone
- matches wrapped in enough hemp twine for knot magic
- match striker
- clear quartz point
- small piece of black tourmaline
- sprig of wormwood
- wooden yes/no coin
- banishment talisman/sigil to banish negative spirits ward off black magic
I am hoping I can get or make a little altar cloth to put in there too, which will double as a bit of padding for the contents so no damage comes to the little glass jars.

Secret witch tip!

Use macrame as discreet knot magic!

Many people have these wall hangings in their home as rustic decorations, but making your own can pass off as a fun craft project while secretly adding energies to the knots!

Bonus: use a wooden pole from a tree that matches your intention, and colored yarn or beads that correspond with the energies you’re putting in!

There’s tons of tutorials on youtube and online, so go wild!

Lucets are a hugely underrated tool for witchcraft.

It’s been around since before the middle ages, makes various types of cords. (most commonly a box cord. which unlike rounded cords is less likely to unravel, perfect for corsets ) The very shape is reminiscent of the devil or a stang. Usually made of wood or bone which can be carved. Its a type of waving that is repetitive and can be done in trance or when your mind is else where. I’ve used it for making witch ladders, bindings and protection charms. It’s super portable and doesn’t take much skill to learn the various types of cords, braids, or weavings. All around I’m honestly surprised more people haven’t raved about this sweet little tool so steeped in history!

Witch Tips for City Witches

City Witch Tips for all of my fellow witches stuck in apartments, dorms or other city areas.

  • If you can’t burn incense you can make your own sprayable incense by mixing alcohol (usually vodka or rubbing) with essential oils and a bit of oil, spray in the air to act like incense
  • If you are unable to go outside for whatever reason to get rain water (in my case just no where to collect it safely), fill a jar or glass with regular water and keep it near a cracked window to charge it with the wind, sound and scent of the rain outside. Same goes for storm water
  • Trapped in city and unable to get ocean water? Sea salt mixed with rain/storm water can be an excellent substitute
  • To continue on with water substitutes, if you can’t collect snow crushed ice from your fridge will suffice
  • Low key warding/protection you can use: spray moon water, salt water or sprayable incense about your apartment or dorm, place sigils under doormats, furniture, inside cupboards, etc; place crystals about hidden or out in the open, sweep and dust out the door or towards windows
  • If you need melted wax to seal a jar or for any other magical purpose, but can’t burn candles, by a wax melter and melt that wax and imagine the light from the burner acting like a flame (plus they are rather cheap, I got mine for 25 bucks)
  • Need stars in your craft but too much light pollution? Glow in the dark stars on your ceiling or wall can work just as well for visualization. Print out pictures of your favorite constellations or planets and place them up on your walls or on your altar. Live video feed of the night sky can also be easily found on the internet
  • Bath magic is amazing for low-key ‘in the woods’ witches. Use teas, milk, oils, herbs, bath bombs, bubble baths, salts, etc that relate to your intent. It is also a good place to meditate if you have roommates or family around that would disturb you otherwise
  • If you do for whatever reason need to burn a candle, birthday candles are small, melt fast, and don’t create a lot of smoke or smokey scent
  • Sigils are another great low-key form of magic. To boost them up, use color magic related to the color you draw them in, write them using quills made of feathers related to your intent, use colored paper, rub a drop of essential oil on them, charge them with crystals or in your windowsill
  • You don’t have to burn sigils to activate them, which is hardly an option when you are in a dorm or apartment. Other options are: Shredding them, erasing them, soaking them in a bath or shower, using body heat or your own pulse, etc
  • Miss having the outdoors and plants around? Windowsill gardens can really help. Small plants you can consider keeping in your windowsill or counter-tops: succulents, cacti, bamboo, lemongrass, basic, rosemary, mint, rosemary, mosses, aloe, snake plant, pothos (and other vines), carrots, beets, shallots, lettuce, spinach, garlic, chives, parsley, oregano, thyme, and marigold
  • Open your window to let the wind and air from outside to help energize you and clear out negative energies inside
  • Fun places to put sigils: under furniture, carved into soap, onto shampoo/conditioner bottles, on your make up, inside phone cases, in shoes, under bandages, sewn into pillow cases and blankets, behind pictures in frames, underside of nail polish, carved into wax squares for your wax melter, keys and keychains, behind mirrors or in medicine cabinets, on bookmarks, on or in binders and pencil cases, on medicine bottles, and water bottles/travel mugs
  • Easy to make and dispose of poppets: carrot sticks (one of my personal favorites), apples or other fruit, clothe, paper, popsicle sticks, paper towels/napkins, toilet paper rolls, eggs, celery stocks, and cotton balls
  • The internet is an amazing thing. Need some sounds to help you focus or meditate? Easily look up the sounds of rain, storms, wind, ocean waves, jungles, forests, etc
  • Christmas lights are fun and great way to use discrete witchcraft. Select ones in the colors you wish for them to bring ie green for growth, yellow for inspiration, white for protection, purple for psychic abilities, etc.
  • Some everyday things you can use for discrete witchcraft that don’t cost much at all or that you most likely already have: water, table salt, black pepper, paper, crayons/pencils/pens/markers, vinegar, milk, tea, highlighters, make up and beauty supplies, shampoo and conditioner, rubber bands, paperclips, thumbtacks, computer/phone/tablet, music/music player, playing cards, dice, air freshener, perfumes, toothpaste, rice, flour, sugar, honey, and all kitchen herbs and seasonings.
  • Can’t afford gemstones or crystals on college budget? Crackle and dyed quartz you can find super cheap at craftstores and online. I bought a whole bag for 4 bucks. Use them based on their colors and shapes. Can’t afford that but still want to use rocks in your craft? Find some rocks you like outside, again use their colors and shapes to determine their correspondences. Want to use them for a specific purpose? Paint sigils on them in the color that corresponds with what you want! Charge them in your windowsill or with your own energy and intent. There you go!
  • Pocket mirrors are cheap, easy to carry around and great for glamours and on the go magic.
  • Seriously though, glamour spells are going to be a good option for you. use your make up, skin products, hair care products, brushes/combs, perfume, mirrors, toothbrush/toothepaste and intent. Good to do while you are getting ready for your day
  • Dream magic is another friend of the city witch! Use crystals, sigils, herbs, etc near your bed before you go to sleep, drink some chamomile, get yourself a dream journal (mine is literally a notebook with construction paper on it), keep it and a pen near you. In the morning write down your dreams, your thoughts, how you feel (tired, refreshed, groggy, etc), and interpret them.
  • Can’t afford tarot cards? Print out some, you can usually find them online and they won’t last as long as a real deck but it is a good temporary solution. Want a Ouija board but can’t keep one or need it to be easily hidden? Print one out, draw on one on paper or cardboard, fold it up and store it once you are done. Want a pendulum but can’t afford one? Use your favorite necklace, bracelet or keychain!
  • Tea and coffee magic is great, make your own tea blends with the herbs you like. Or just buy simple green or black tea and add sugar, milk, etc depending on your intentions
  • As I said before, crock pot magic. The Modern Cauldron: brew and cook all day with it, fill your apartment with the scent of the herbs and food to fill it with the energies they correspond with and you get a delicious meal to come home to! Most dorms allow them. Rice cookers also work well.
  • Can’t afford fresh food? Have to survive on ramen, canned soup, and microwaved meals? That is okay! They even correspond with things! Tomato soup for love, beauty and passion. Beef ramen noodles for strength, courage and longevity. Microwave mac n cheese for beauty and feminity. Look at their ingredients and what they correspond with. Sure its not as glamorous as a making a huge made by scratch traditional meal but its kitchen magic none the less. Stir it with your intent while you cook. It isn’t fancy but it works just as well!
  • Use a notebook or binder for a nice grimoire, decorate it as much as you want on the inside. Print out pictures of nature, animals, planets, stars, places, crystals, etc that you cant’ access/afford and use them in your craft. Spell books and grimoires are powerful tools
  • Don’t have a wand? Use a wooden spoon. Tie a colored string or ribbon to it to correspond with what energy you want it to have and move and flick it as you would a wand.
  • Knitting, crocheting, and knot magic is very apartment friendly. As well as sewing and embroidering plus it is super calming.
  • Glitter, sequins, and beads are great in witchcraft! Use their colors to determine their correspondences. Put them in spell jars, sachets, bottles, etc. Glitter tip: if you spill any don’t fret, get some packing tape, wrap it around your hand with the sticky part outwards and dab at that glitter spill. You will literally pick up all of the glitter in seconds!
  • Enchant and charge your pots, pans, skillets, and other cookware to make every meal magical
  • Make moonwater in your windowsills. Use it for cleansing, beauty, divination, clarity, protection and purification
  • Take walks. Even if it is a city there is still nature about. Pigeons flying about, potted flowers outside of stores, grass growing in front lawns, etc. Enjoy yourself, even if it is not some wild, vast forest you can still connect with your local nature.
  • Pick up litter or garbage you see outside, being in the city we all see it. The natural world around you will appreciate you helping out. Bring a bag with you when you take your walks or travel and fill it with wrappers you see on the ground.

I hope this was helpful to all of my fellow city and dorm witches!

Items to include in your Book of Shadows

Everyone’s book will be different because all Witches are different. This list is a bunch of examples I have come across over the years of things you could include in your BOS if you so desired. Nothing on this list is mandatory, nothing here is required. If you don’t know what something is, please feel free to ask! If you don’t think that something on the list is for you, awesome, don’t include it in yours.

Simple Knot Magic Spell for Courage/Confidence/Feeling Free

you only need a white cord/cotton rope (not too thick, not as thin as sewing strings)

1. meditate. calm yourself and remove all distractions around you and in you as well. once you are ready, make these knots in the following directions

and in each knot one by one say,

By the Knot of One, my burdens slowly disappears.

By the Knot of Two, my inner me will shine

By the Knot of Three, i will chase the wind

By the Knot of Four, the light will lead me out

By the Knot of Five, i will fly and touch the sky

By the Knot of Six, i will be strong as the stormy seas

By the Knot of Seven, i will be proud like an eagle’s scream

By the Knot of Eight, i will be out of my cage

By the Knot of Nine, the sky will turn clear once again.

2. the more cords/rope you use it will be more effective! once you finished a cord, place it near a healthy plant or a water with good flow. you can also put it under your pillow when you want to sleep. doing this in a midnight is recommended ^-^

this is another spell i made! the words used above are inspired by the song Touch the Sky from Brave go watch it! it really inspired me c: Touch the Sky - Brave

Knitting Witchcraft 101, a crash course by witchimplumis

To start this off, obviously there are TONS of ways to do a lot of this stuff. This is mostly the method I use. This also isn’t a tutorial to knitting, there’s lots of great videos out there explaining how to knit, if I tried to teach all of that in this post, it would be at least 3 times as long. Finally, most of this probably also works for crochet, but I don’t know the first thing about crochet, so I’ll let someone else weigh in on that.

Knitting magic is great for anyone, from witches on a budget (yarn, especially acrylic, can be dirt cheap), broom closet witches (it’s easy-peasy to pass off as a normal, non-witchy hobby), practical witches (you get a useful garment at the end!), and more. You can use it on its own, or as a part of a larger spell or ritual.

Intent

Much like all magic, a lot of knitting magic is intent and visualization. Before starting a project, come up with a purpose for the finished product. For this scenario, I’ll use a real project I’ve done. I wanted to make a shawl to help me in the upcoming school year.
When you’re knitting, focus on the purpose that you want to imbue the finished product with. Imagine your hopes for it entering each stitch, and being locked in place with your needles.
When you first start, it may feel mentally exhausting or draining, or it may be really hard to focus and you may find your thoughts drifting away, but as you practice you’ll get better and be able to focus longer. I find that once I start to lose focus the best thing to do is leave for a while and pick the project up later, once I’ve had time to clear my head.

Rs/ws

If you’ve been a knitter for any length of time at all, you know that flat knitting has what’s called a “right side” (the side that shows when you’re wearing/using your created object) and a “wrong side” (the side that faces towards you, like the bottom of a blanket or inside of a cardigan), or rs and ws on patterns.
When working out the beginning of my projects, I come up with two different intents, one for the outside world to see (right side) and one to affect only me (wrong side). So, in the example of my school shawl, I wanted other people to view me as capable in my field. So my rs intent was “I am a learned student of my trade.” On the ws, I choose an intent that helps me to acheive my ultimate goal (doing well in school) so the intent I used was “I have the focus required in my studies.”
HOWEVER, when working in the round, there’s no wrong side. So then how do you go about wrong side intents? Two options: one, have only one overarching purpose for all knitting (such as “I will succeed in my chosen field”), or alternate lines as you would if you weren’t knitting in the round.

Color/texture

Yarn comes in pretty much every color and color combination imaginable. Color associations/color magic are not only possible to do with yarn but strongly encouraged. I use lots of sources for mine, googling “color associations” brings up bunches of pages, or you can use your own personal associations. If you’re going to do this, read reviews for the yarn and check for or ask about color bleeding.

Textures are an often-overlooked factor. Prickly yarn can be used in a defensive spell, or soft yarn in one for comfort and warmth. Always keep in mind what kind of thing you’re making though, and try to work off of that. Some textures are not ideal for some uses.

Materials
Yarn materials are important to fit to your project. For example, you don’t want to make a knit bralette out if dish scrubby yarn (ouch). You have tons of options, but I’ll stick to the kinds you’re most likely to run into cheap-ish. My standing recommendation for all of these is if there is any way at all you can see and feel yarn in person before buying it, do so. I don’t recommend buying in bulk of you haven’t dealt with a brand or line of yarn before.

Acrylic- acrylic yarn is usually extremely cheap and comes in tons of colors and textures, some are shiny, others are really fuzzy, there’s all kinds for all purposes. It’s really great if you have allergies because it’s synthetic fiber.

Wool/superwash wool: usually somewhat coarse, wool is a natural fiber that comes from shearing specific breeds of wool-producing sheep. Some brands will even say specifically what breed(s) or country their wool comes from. In my experience, wool is much easier to work magic with than acrylic, however it will usually also be more expensive, and there are fewer textures and appearances available.

Cotton: cotton is a nice in-between of acrylic and wool. It’s a natural fiber, but I don’t know of anybody being allergic to it. It can come in many different colors, but not really any texture variety, they all just feel like cotton. If you’re not morally opposed for any of various reasons, Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton yarn is by far the best cotton yarn I’ve found, in terms of softness. If you ARE morally opposed however, Sugar n Cream makes cotton yarn on huge spools very cheap.

Bamboo: it’s considered eco-friendly yarn. I don’t know how true that is, as I don’t use it enough to actually look into the carbon footprint of bamboo yarn. That said it feels like actual clouds and looks like them too.

Silk: we all know what silk is. Silk yarn exists. It’s on the expensive end of cheap stuff, usually only comes in small amounts.

Merino: wool that comes from the merino sheep breed specifically. This wool is really soft, I don’t work with it much because it’s usually really expensive compared to every other kind.

Novelty yarns: I love incorportating these. Some are great for practical reasons (dish scrubby yarn) and others are great for using some of their elements as part of a spell (like feathery yarns or beady yarns etc.)

Stitch types
I don’t think there’s a widely agreed upon set of associations for stitch type/pattern, these are just some common ones I’ve come to associate.
YO/lace- these large, open patterns I associate with “bigger” or more wide effects. Alternately, because they’re basically big holes in the object, allowing your intents to come out into the environment.
seed- just like its name, I associate seed stitch with potential and growth.
Garter- I tend to associate garter stitch with mundane life, alternately with its common use as a border stitch I associate it as a holding stitch, keeping things in (like secrets) or protected.
Stockinette- a super common stitch pattern for fronts of things, especially socks (as per the name). I tend to associate it with appearances, and spells like glamour aids.

Blocking
When/if you block, visualize the water charging your finished object. You can use scented wool wash in scents that are associated with the spell you’re doing, you have tons of options.

Beads, etc:
You can get all kinds of things at craft stores! I found crystal charms last time I went that would look great on a heavier-weight shawl, there’s beads of various different materials and colors, if I went over all of these things it’d take a whole extra post. Play around and see what you like.

Finished products:
Clothing- either for yourself or for others. Make ritual clothing or just a warmth-intent hat. Possibilities are totally endless.
Poppet- maybe make a poppet out of yarn? Stuff it with things you want the poppet associated with? Disclaimer: don’t burn knit poppets unless you are 100% certain ALL ingredients are safe to burn wherever you’re burning them. I prefer to “destroy” my knit poppets by stabbing them with knitting needles, so that I can reuse them, even better, make the end drawstring-style, so you can reuse it with different ingredients. Eco friendly witchcraft!
Spell swatch- I call it a spell swatch but it may have another name by now. It works pretty much exactly how it sounds, knit a swatch of fabric in varying colors, stitches, etc., based on what the spell is. Knit in beads or feathers or hair or whatever you feel like you should. Then pin it on your wall or carry it with you. It doesn’t have to (and probably won’t) look nice, it’s just a little spell to carry with you, like a very personalized sigil.

Other uses: knitting is great for meditation! Finding a simple pattern to knit for a while can leave your mind free to relax and do its own thing, I love leaving guided meditations, binaural tones, etc. on while I’m knitting things like socks or blankets.

Yarn Magic

Hello everyone! Now I know a lot of spoonies, and a lot of witches who either knit, crochet or sew. These activities suit both groups: for spoonies they offer a creative output without having to spend too much energy, and for witches they’re a really easy way to practise magic daily. So yarn/knot magic is perfect for spoonie witches!

This year (2017) I am crocheting a square each day, and making these into a massive blanket. I am choosing the colours of each square based on each day, how I felt, or magical colour correspondences I want to instil.

As I crochet, I set my intention for the blanket within each stitch- for me these include protection, comfort and safety. Other ways to add magic include adding strands of your hair or the hair of a loved one into the blanket to add extra protection (this often happens by accident for me as my hair sheds everywhere!), or you can crochet with the colours specific to your intentions.

My colour correspondences are:

  • white: cleansing and purity
  • black: protection and binding
  • red: strength and passion
  • pink: love and harmony
  • orange: courage and comfort
  • yellow: communication and self love
  • green: fertility and wellness
  • dark blue: dreams and psychic abilities
  • light blue: joy and new beginnings
  • violet: divination and inspiration
  • purple: authority and power
  • grey: neutrality and secrets
  • brown: the home and grounding
  • silver: intuition and reflection
  • gold: prosperity and luck

Happy Witch Crafting everyone! (see what I did there? good pun)

anonymous asked:  Hey there! Looking for Omega Heat fics. Where Stiles can’t get enough of Derek. Like they may be out in public or something and Stiles can’t help scenting Derek. Love these kinds of fics. You are girls are the best!

Ok, so I went more on the “really long fics which feature scentmarking” side of this ask, cause I was having trouble finding exactly what you wanted.  Also found 2 Omega!Stiles is hot for Alpha Derek’s scent fics as well.  They’re all Sterek ;)  Hope you like!  -Emmy

Derek wasn’t meant to be the Alpha of Beacon Hills, but, when Laura moves to New York with her husband the Beacon Hills territory needed a new alpha to take charge. Not only is he busy running around making sure his territory is safe and doing his job correctly as Sheriff of the Beacon Hills Supernatural Police Department alongside Sheriff Stilinski who was the Sheriff of the Beacon Hills Human Police Department but he also has to keep track of his 3 adopted children. Erica and Boyd are about to start their junior year of high school so he doesn’t need to stress over them very much but Isaac? The youngest and newest member of their small pack? That’s the one he worries about.

Isaac is a shy little pup and this will be the first year that Isaac won’t be home schooled. He is about to start 2nd grade and Derek couldn’t do anything but worry. That is until he caught sight of the 2nd grade teacher. A face too elegant to be considered handsome and too masculine to be viewed as pretty but gorgeous nonetheless with sweet honey brown eyes and a bright smile as his lean figure rested against the door frame where he waited for the parents to pick up their children. Yeah…… Isaac will be fine…

Biologically, Stiles is weak. When he presented as an omega, he knew that to be the truth but that never stopped him from running his mouth as a defense mechanism. However, it could only save him so many times before he ended up pissing off the wrong person. After he’s attacked in the parking lot outside of school, Stiles realizes he can no longer protect himself with just pure wit and sarcasm. When the attack lands him in the hospital, his dad forces him to pick between two options, report the alphas who attacked him or join a kickboxing gym run by omega rights activist and alpha, Derek Hale, a man Stiles has been in love with for many years.

Two months after the Nogitsune’s defeat, Stiles is having trouble coming to terms with what he did while under its influence. When Derek’s birthday rolls around, the pack plan a surprise party for their alpha, also hoping that the celebration will help raise Stiles’ spirits. During the festivities, secret looks of longing shared between the two catch Erica’s attention, and she bands together with Allison and Lydia and plots to get them to admit their feelings for each other. The plans quickly go awry, however, when a new antagonist appears in Beacon Hills with connections to Derek’s past and Stiles finds that the Nogitsune left him with more than just guilt.

He splits his time between his studies, taking care of the pack—well and truly blossoming into his new role as the alpha’s mate—and training his powers with Deaton. At the same time he learns shocking secrets about his heritage, strange things start happening around town and to the pack themselves, and he finds himself in a race to save everyone when a new evil arrives and threatens to destroy everything he loves.

Now you’ve got a cord full of magic. If the spell was one of binding, or protection, or some other spell where you want the magic to stick around, keep the cord somewhere safe, or on your person. If you want to release the magic, such as for a wish spell, or a blessing, or luck spell, untie the knots in reverse orderwhile focusing on the goal to release the magic. To end the spell without releasing the power, cut the knots, or tie the ends together and bury the cord.

Resources for Binding Magic

Updated: June 22nd, 2017

For the purpose of this masterpost, I am defining binding as “any spell that can be utilized to prevent a person from performing any specific action, generally harmful in nature, by rendering them incapable or unable of doing so.”

There are other ways to utilize bindings of course - in the instance of keeping something closer to you - but the spells in this list will be relating to the definition I have listed above.

I'm so new to grimore writing, do you have any tips or maybe even a master list of ideas to put in one?

I have posts for this~!

Long story short: what do you want to put into it?

It is your book, to do with as you will. Put in whatever you think you will want / need to know, that reflects your style of practicing, etc.

In a tl;dr version of all those links, and a modified version of [this post], here’s some ideas on things you can put into a grimoire (based mostly around informational purposes).

This list is not complete / extensive / ; moreso, it has a lot of different suggestions to give you some ideas of things you can put in.

  • about you as a witch
    • these could be in the format of journal pages
    • what you want out of witchcraft, information about your natal / birth chart if you like astrology, any notes of things you do day to day, etc.
  • terminology of terms within witchcraft and magic
  • spell timing, such as Sabbats and esbats, moon phases, days of the week, time of the day, etc.
  • correspondences for herbs, essential oils, crystals / minerals, colors, the four elements, planetary associations, etc.
    • substitutions for particular items like herbs, crystals, etc.
    • any safety precautions for working with certain herbs, crystals, etc.
    • information on how to determine personal correspondences and associations
    • magical / non-magical materials that can be used in spells
  • information on the “basics” of witchcraft
    • what intent means, and how to work with it
    • what it means to visualize, and alternatives if you can’t
    • what meditation can do for magic, and how to do it
    • what channeling energy means, and how to do it
    • what it means to charge / enchant objects, and methods to do it
    • setting up an altar / magical work space, and how to do it
  • information on any religions you work within
    • example: for Wicca, you may wish to write out the Wiccan Rede, how to cast a circle, how to call the four corners / elements / guardians of the watchtowers, how to set up an altar, etc.
  • information on any deities you work with / wish to work with
    • offering ideas for any deities you work with
    • invocations for any deities you work with
    • rituals / dedications / prayers to any deities you work with
  • information on any spirits you work with / wish to work with
    • offering ideas for any spirits you work with (i.e. the fae, elemental spirits like sylphs and salamanders, etc.)
  • information on the history of witchcraft
  • information on familiars and working with animals in magic
  • information on varieties of magic
    • examples: energy work, candle magic, crystal magic / crystal grids, sachet magic, knot magic, kitchen magic / tea magic, bath magic, traditional magic, urban / modern magic, chaos magic, pop culture magic, green magic, hedgework, spirit work, shadow work, blood magic, sex magic, necromancy / death magic, etc.
    • MAGIC NO LONGER LOOKS LIKE A WORD TO ME
  • any safety precautions for working with certain varieties of magic
  • any divination methods you wish to try
    • examples: definitions of the tarot cards, tarot spreads, cartomancy interpretations, definitions of runes, reading tea leaves (tasseomancy) / coffee grounds, tips on pendulum reading, etc.
  • spells that you write yourself, or sigils you create yourself
    • any notes and observations you made when testing that spell / using it
  • spells or sigils from external sources that you may want to use and/or reference
  • specific categories of spells
    • examples: protection, cleansing / purification, banishing, binding, healing, new beginnings / moving on, happiness, self love, relationships, friendships, glamours, confidence, strength, energy, luck, money / wealth, school, employment, sleep, dreams / nightmares, divination, magic amplification, etc.
  • recipes for potions, powders, oils, tinctures, etc.
  • chants and incantations
  • blessings
  • curses
  • information on any magical groups or covens you participate in
    • coven rules and guidelines, members lists and contact information, etc.

I hope that helps you! Good luck!
