the lost are found

A man while mushroom hunting in Ionia, MI found a message in a bottle from two twin girls born Oct. 27,1982 named Leah & Angela from Lansing written sometime in or around 1994.

Wherever they are now, a man named Terry Smith posted these on facebook wanting to show them that their message lives on 21 years later.

everyone says that eventually
you heal.
you forget about how much you loved him.
you move on from the pain.
your heart heals, better than before.

that’s not happening to me.
you disappeared
you’re gone and i lost my mind
the moment you left.
i still haven’t found myself again,
after you took all of these little pieces
and didn’t tell me where to find them.

everyone made this look so easy.
but i just want to be okay again.

idk if u still do this by there r two fics ive lost: one is ace merlin and grey ace arthur and they meet at a lgbt group thing and I remember them sitting in a hot tub discussing feelings at some point ?? also a uni au im p sure they were at Cambridge and arthur did rowing and he was studying animals or geography and merlin was going Anglo Saxon Norse and Celtic and Morgana and Morgause had some kinda magic thing going pls help

Here’s the first one:

Did You Feel the Way I Felt? by WaxRhapsodic
There was a moment’s pause as the group silently assessed Arthur. Oddly enough, that’s when his reluctance vanished. It took him a moment to realize why he felt so comfortable with their perusal. For all that the eight of them were looking him over; there were no sexual overtones clouding the situation. Finally relaxed, he broke the silence.

aaand the second:

The Victory of Shadows by scribblemoose
Merlin is an ordinary young man with extraordinary magic, who is just finishing his first year reading ancient history at Cambridge when he gets dragged away from his books and falls for the Captain of a rowing team. But history can be full of surprises.

Hi I live in Tijuana, Mexico. Please pray for my city, the violence situation is starting to get worse, the war between drug cartels seems like a never ending battle, some years are worse than others. My dad's friend was literally slaughtered (they cut his hand off while being alive) for dating an ex-lover of a narco, he didn't even knew, he was a young hard-working man. I know a lot of people that have lost family members in shootings, yesterday they found 2 heads at the entrance of the city(1)

Sometimes they find bodies hanging from bridges, or parts at the side of the road. There is no justice not even for the innocent people. There’s also a lot of corruption in the government, and the economic situation is awful, the minimum wage for an 8-12 hrs shift is 60 dlls a week. And we pay more IVA in Baja California (which is the same as taxes) than in the rest of the country. And the situation here is pretty similar in all of Mexico, so please, spread this information (2)

Mod note: we are sorry for your loss and we keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing you and Tijuana the best.

What if Ayato and Hinami found a human child lost and orphaned in the streets, and instead of eating them they instead raise the kid? While being a human living in the Ghoul world and having as parents two high-ranking Aogiri executives, the child would be feared, hated and desired all at the same time. This child would grow up into being a mix between Juuzou and Arima when it comes to "human who kicks ghoul ass hard and is feared by them".

Oh my god I’m down with that

Anonymous said:Dipper and Bill have the house to themselves and dipper sings “like a virgin” by Madonna out loud and dances around

Bill watched in amusement as Dipper ‘danced’ around him.  Really he was more stumbling and flailing.  Was he trying to be seductive?  Not that Bill would take advantage of him being wasted anyway.

“I made it through the wilderness
Somehow I made it through
Didn’t know how lost I was
Until I found you

I was beat incomplete
I’d been had, I was sad and blue
But you made me feel
Yeah, you made me feel
Shiny and new”

Bill tried not to snort, the song sounded so strange in Pine Tree’s slurred singing and his silly dancing. But he knew that the words were heartfelt.  What was this song anyway?

“Like a virgin
Touched for the very first time
Like a virgin
When your heart beats
Next to mine

Gonna give you all my love, boy
My fear is fading fast
Been saving it all for you
‘Cause only love can last”

He did chuckle that time, standing and catching the stumbling boy up in his arms.  “You are NO virgin Pine Tree.  Come on now, I think its time for you to sleep.”

Book Question Memes

Thank you penandpaperss for tagging me. I though that it would be fun to answer so..

1. Have you ever stolen a book? What book?

Not really stolen. There was this Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets paperback that was left in our classroom way back in high school. We have block sections and I asked my classmates if they own the book. No one claimed it so I decided to turn it over to our adviser. For months, no one turned up to claim it. When the school year ended, I was part of the clean-up committee and we were in charge of the lost-and-found items. Since the book was still there, my partner told me to just get it since I love books. I asked permission from the teacher and she allowed me. So yeah, that how I got an extra copy of HPCoS.

2. Which author has a name you love to say?

Leigh Bardugo, Jostein Gaarder and Tahereh Mafi. Don’t ask why. I don’t know either. Hahaha.

3. Have you ever bought a book twice on accident?

Nope. The book catalog I have in my mind is great that way. Even though I own 500+ books, I never forget which ones I already own.

4. Do you have to visualize characters as you read?

Part of the reason why I actually enjoy reading is the freedom it gives my mind to imagine and visualize characters, scenarios, etc. The possibilities are endless inside my head. It’s why I prefer reading to watching TV or movies. I get to control things in my head the way I want them to look or feel.

5. Would you buy a foreign edition of a book just for the cover? If so (or if you have) which cover are we talking about here?

If I could (if I was filthy fucking rich), I would all the editions of the Harry Potter series and The Night Circus. Never mind that I don’t understand the language. I could stare at their beauty all day.

6. Do you consider yourself a collector of books? Or a reader? Or both?

I consider myself both. Yes, indeed, I am a reader. I live for reading. As for a collector, I do tend to pick which ones I collect. I own multiple copies of books just because. And I have bought books just because I want to own them, even though I do not know if I’ll ever get to read them in the future. I also consider myself a collector because I aim to have a huge personal library in the future.

7. Neil Gaiman. Yay or nay? I can’t figure it out.

YES. DEFINITELY YES. His writing is super and uniquely fascinating. I love the eerie feel of his books and the way I get lost in his words.

8. The one author from whom you own/have read everything.

Sarah J. Maas. Hello, Throne of Glass series. BEST EVER. Also, A Court of Thorns and Roses got me so hooked and I’m pretty sure I’d buy the next books in the series. Auto-buy author. I swear.

One other is Sarah Dessen. She was my favorite YA contemporary author when I was in high school and I own and read all of her books except for the latest, Saint Anything, which I am planning to buy soon.

9. A book that was so bad that you were angry at it, or that you had to quit because you couldn’t take it anymore.

Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire (The abusive relationship in this book is just.. NOPE).

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner (it’s one of those books that everyone loved and I somehow cannot stand)

Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James (Uhh do I even need to give you guys a reason)

10. Literary tea party. You are allowed 7 guests, who do you invite? (characters, authors…)

J.K. Rowling (definitely. I mean I could have tea with just her and I’d be flippin’ ecstatic), Celaena Sardothien (my baby from Throne of Glass), Katsa (the badass bitch from Graceling), Hermione Granger (duh), James Carstairs (TID bae), Magnus Bane (who wouldn’t invite him?), and Fred & George Weasley (they come together. okay. no arguments.)

11. What book has the worst title?

The Haunted Vagina by Carlton Mellick III. And if the title isn’t weird enough for you, then take a look at what this book is about here.
