Hey!! I really like your blog!! I was thinking of a request where maybe rfa and mc share a first kiss (or do it for the first time lol) and they didn't know it was mc's very first kiss until they realized how shy mc was after xxx and just their reactions to being mc's first you know... thx!! Xxxxxxxx
this is really cute haha but since i’ve been working on alot of slighty nsfw’s lately, i’d probably want to take a break lol hope you enjoy this! i added saeran bby because i love him
this doesnt follow the canon plot
MC was helping Yoosung out in his intership being a vet
So they were playing around with the animals
Yoosung noticed how cute MC was playing with them and was imagining how good of a mother she would be to their children
That thought brought a small blush to his face
calm down boy you guys havent even had your kiss yet
But he really couldn’t help himself as he strode over to MC
He grabbed the kitten out of her grasp as he placed his hands on either side of her, trapping her between his body and the table
MC squeaked and her heart started racing and as Yoosung’s face leaned closer to her
She tightly closed her eyes as Yoosung gave a feather light kiss on her lips
After he pulled away, he was surprised by MC’s shy face
“M-MC? are you okay?”
She was red all over and was gaping like a fish out of water
“That was… my first kiss”
How can this beautiful girl not have had her first kiss yet?
Yoosung was surprised but laughed as he hugged her and whispered “Cute”
They were cooking together when it happened
He was really hungry and thought it would be te perfect opportunity for both him and MC to bond
He loves MC to pieces but it makes him slightly upset that they haven’t shared their kiss yet
Is it because of his breath? Did he smell of cigarettes?
He was anxious MC didn’t want him anymore and so he hoped to bond with her more to find out why
They were actually baking cupcakes and were having a good time
She looked really bright and Zen just kind of stumbled in his steps a bit
Seeing her laughing face made his heart jump out of his chest and he just couldn’t resist
When he started leaning in, MC panicked and placed frosting all over his face
“Why you little”
So he chased her around and finally landed some cream on her face
“Zen! now we gotta clean up”
“I’ll start with you then”
He grabbed her face and kissed her hard, making sure to lick every icing left on her lips
MC looked like her soul left her body as she knelt down and clutched her head in embarassment
Zen panicked and started apologizing, promised to clean the whole place up for her to forgive him
When he was about to leave, MC grabbed his hand and looked at him with the reddest face he’s ever seen
“S-sorry it’s j-just, that was m-my first kiss”
Zen sighed in relief and clutched her hand, kissing it and telling her how adorable she was
Pretend MC is staying in his apartment but the whole sarah choi situation never happened
With the hacker on the loose, there was no way Jumin’s letting MC out of his sight.
She would patiently stay there wating, eager for Jumin to come back from work
He loved the idea of having someone to come back to. She felt like home and he loved her so much he can’t wait to tell her
The way she cares for the people around her, the way she cares for him. Her scent as she sits beside him is all so intoxicating
But he was stumped
Some of the departments in his company were failing and his father had yet to show him his new girlfriend
Yet coming home that day felt like air was being breathed into his lungs again
As soon as he saw her, he pulled her towards him and wrapped his arms around her body, letting himself bask in the comfort her touch held
“Jumin, what’s wrong?” She quietly asked
When he pulled back, MC saw the depair in his eyes that her heart twisted at the sight
“I had a rough day” He looked at the ground
MC placed her hands on his cheeks as she made him look at her
“Whatever you need, I will always be there okay? You can tell me anything because I care about you”
Jumin felt his heart swell at her words as he placed one hand at the back of her neck and kissed her
MC clutched at his shirt as he slightly pushed him away
“What’s wrong, my love?”
MC was blushing and was not able to utter any word out
Finally, coming out of her shock she muttered
“T-that was my first kiss”
It was MC and Jaehee’s movie date night
But of course it consisted of Zen’s musicals
MC was never that much of a huge fan compared to Jaehee
But she endures it for her
They were laughing, having a good time
And were drinking coffee
Jaehee suddenly laughed and MC was confused
She explained MC had a coffee mustache and thought it was adorable
MC didn’t mind as she started talking in weird acccents
“Aye matey this pirate’s got me a beard finally”
“MC that’s a mustache”
“Aye alas this pirate’s got no intelligence”
They kept laughing until suddenly Jaehee pecked her on the lips
“Sorry, I couldn’t reisist” She said shyly
If Jaehee was already shy then MC was alot worse
She looked like a tomato who started stuttering, burying her face in her hands
She explained how it was her first kiss and Jaehee felt really proud to be her first
Seven was slaving away in his work per usual
MC was actually getting him some food because she felt bad for him to be restlessly working again
But she knows her boundaries and knows when Seven really needed to focus or not
She was his girlfriend afterall
The word she’d always wanted to be
Being with him truly makes her happy and she’d do anything for his happiness in return
She strode over to him and gently wrapped her arms around his neck, careful as to not distract him too much
She placed her face near the sides as Seven shivered at the air being blown
His breath hitched as his typing momentarily stopped
“What are you doing?” He almost breathlessly whispered
Gathering all of her courage, she was about to place a quick peck on his cheek when his head turned and her lips landed on his
She yelped as he jumped a few fet away from him, a blushing stuttering mess
Seven turned his chair around to face her in bewilderment
“Okay so you can kiss my cheek but when you kiss me on the mouth you’re suddenly embarassed?”
MC’s face reddened even more
“And how so?”
“Because t-that was my first kiss”
Seven let out a heartfelt laugh and pulled on her hand to make her sit on his lap
Clasping his hands around her hips he gave her another kiss while MC looked like she was about to die
“I’m glad, since I plan to take all of your firsts” Seven had a knowing look as MC was bleeding through her nose
MC came to pick him up after his therapy session as they went straight to the bunker
In the car though, Saeran can’t help but feel like there’s a stone in his chest
It felt so heavy everytime he sees MC
And every time they touch, it seemed as if his skin was burning
He was staring at her driving the whole time, tempted to place his hands over her on the stickshift
What the hell
He felt so soft and he hated it
When they got to Seven’s bunker and she kept asking how he was and if he was okay
Something in Saeran snapped
His heart was racing as he realized godamn he is inlove with this girl
So he kisses her hard
And he felt so satisfied and full, that he was too distracted to realize what state MC was in
He kept kissing her until her knees buckled and Saeran had to stop her from falling
“Shit MC are you okay” Great 2 minutes coming into terms with his feelings and the girl he loves probably hates him now
“I-I’ll be fine” She was hiding her face, resting it on his chest as she was clutching fistfuls of his shirt
“It-Its just that was my first kiss and I-I never expected it to b-be like that”
“God I’m so so sorry MC” He was stroking her hair trying to calm her down when she looked like she blew a fuse
Rika is back and MC gets sick at the same time she feels abandoned. Part 1 (x) | Part 2 (x) | Part 3 (x) | Part 4 (x) | Part 5 (x)
Rika felt a sense of satisfaction
She got off being the one everyone considered the most
sure, she lead MC to the RFA
sure she made a lot of trouble for MC and the rest of the members
But the one thing she did not want anyone to forget or even ever know really was
it also meant she could take her out of rfa with ease
And they wouldn’t ever know it was her or care if all went to her plan
– Yoosung –
From the last time MC invited Yoosung over, he remembered where she now lived
Why didn’t I visit her sooner?
Yoosung made his way to her building, knocking repeatedly and waiting for a response
Where is she? It’s almost midnight…
He almost gave up when she didnt answer either calls, text, or the door
Rika! Yoosung was surprised to see his cousin walk by
“Yoosung, what are you doing here so late?”
I came to see if MC is okay, shes been MIA for a while
“She’s fine! I talked to her not too long ago and she said that she was going to visit her family for a few weeks. I forgot to tell you guys about it too… sorry.”
It’s fine, don’t worry about it! Though, it would have been better if she told us herself…
“I dont know the details, but something about one of her family members being recently diagnosed with a terminal illness.. Yeah, it was terrible. She said they started to cough blood and she went to go help them through the process. Poor MC.”
You’re genuinely concerned for MC, you’re so nice Rika.
“Ofc, shes a memeber of the rfa too!”
Sorry, its just i know you dont know her that much, but im glad you guys get along well. Do you know when she’ll be back?
“I think after the funeral. Though it may be longer since i dont know how shell be okay after all of that. Next time we talk, ill ask her, okay? How about we go visit V? Im sure hes awake and wouldnt mind if you came over for a sleep over”
Yoosung felt like a huge boulder had been lifted from his shoulders now that he knew MC was physically okay
He felt bad that she didnt tell anyone that she was leaving to tend to a sick family member
But he felt that he would forgive her since she seemed more of a private person
I should get her a gift basket when she comes back; poor MC will be greiving when she returns- I could add chocolates and that coffee she likes with an uber soft blanket. Yeah, i wil do that for sure when RIka tells me when she comes back
Yoosung wanted to be a shoulder for MC when she came back since she was there for him when Rika was gone
he wanted to prove to her and himself and RIka that he was more than just a college student who played a lot of video games; that he was also a capable man
– Zen –
Zen has entered the chatroom.
Zen: MC! Please call me when you get this!
Rika: Zen, I forgot to tell everyone that MC went back to her home country to take care of a sick family member. I didnt want to say anything right away but she told me just recently that it may be a while before she returns because of how bad things are …
Jahee has entered the chatroom.
Jahee: Oh no that’s terrible. Is her family member in that bad of condition for MC to leave without saying bye?
Rika: I am afraid so. From what I know, they are really ill that it is now deemed terminal.
Zen: Oh man, i really thought something happened to MC
Rika: What do you mean?
Zen: I dont know, I thought maybe she got bored of us and left us or something happened to her health wise. I hope she knows that we are all here for her when she comes back
Rika: Dont jinx anything! I’ll let her know though that you were worried whenever we talk again ^^
Jahee: Please do. Id feel much better though if I could talk to her soon. Do you think you can let her know to call me please?
Rika: I will pass the message along!
Zen: me too please, I really miss her :c
Rika: I will, you guys worry too much ^^ dont worry guys, everything will be perfectly fine ^^
Zen: alighty then, i gotta go and meet some directors to talk about my wonderful gorgeous face making its appearance on stage soon, bye~
Jahee: Oh my heart!
Rika: Good luck!
Zen has left the chatroom.
He didnt trust Rika
He didnt even trust Jahee at the moment
He knows he saw MC at the store that night
And it seems highly unlikely that she would just leave without explaining the situation
Especially if someone she cared about was really sick
– Jahee –
From what Mr. Han had been accumulating she knew what was going on somewhat
Though if the rest of rfa should know she didnt feel like she had a place to tell them
She did abandon MC just like the rest did
She wont deny that what the rfa did to MC was abandon her at a time she would have needed them
despite all MC probably gave up to help them
But she didnt want anyone to be in the unknown
Although, she didn’t know if Rika was lying or telling the truth maybe rika did know mc was sick and didnt want to tell because MC said so
Jahee didnt want to risk anything by letting the cat out of the bag cringing
For now all she felt like she could do was gather as much as she could about people with pneumonia
She would look into it since that was all Mr. Han told her
Maybe find some coffee as well for MC and maybe chocolates as she thinks about pleading for forgiveness
– Jumin –
He had no right to act like he should care for MC anymore
The moment they all left her, everyone in the rfa lost all the rights to care for MC
The only thing he could do was offer her the best treatment possible when he found out what she had it made him very uncomfortable to not know what she was suffering from
aside from the stabbing pains of being betrayed that he couldn’t fix for her
but that was only if Seven could find a way into breaking MC out of there
But he knew the longer they waited the worse she would get
When he saw MC through the camera on Sevens screen, he knew he never wanted to know what it felt to lose someone again
After he though rika died, he felt like his world tipped over
But if he loses MC, he knows he wont ever have a reason to go on living with himself
He did find comfort knowing that MC never seemed to have had lost her personality and all that made her so easy to be around
By the looks of it, it was all thanks to Paco who never seemed to leave her side
Are you almost done?
“I want her out of there as soon as possible as well, okay?”
Jumin was taken back with how Seven snapped
“Dont let it get to you, he always gets like this” the famous ‘Vanderwood’ who leaned on the side of the wall said
I dont want to know
He decided he didnt want to get into what Seven did on his own time also bc ‘Miss’ Vanderwood was slightly scaring him
“Just get the IP address so we can get there and go”
“I cant just do that! Well, I can but there seems to be more stuff this guy is feeding me atm and its all about MC”
“Look at it when you get her out of there! Poor girl must be seconds away from kicking the stupid bucket”
“DOnt take it to heart, he gets angry when he has to wait before a job”
“Shut the fuck up, I still have my taser, you oaf”
What do you mean hes feeding you?
“I mean, this Unknown guy wants her found but for some odd reason he cant let her go… idk myself, but it looks like hes just doing his job”
“What makes you say that?”
“RIght here it says: Job. No. Yes.- Unknown”
Isnt that a good thing then? That means we can get MC out faster
JUmin didnt care for all the extra side stuff
He wanted to just get to the point and storm in there to save MC and take her to the doctors he had on standby
Just hurry up!
“I would want to bu- OH shit”
Jumins heart stopped for a millisecond thinking that MC died
When he didnt see anything abnormal on the screen that showed MC he was confused
But looking at what Seven saw
Is that Rika?
– 707 –
Watching RIka give MC injections of unknown substances made him physically want to scream
Why would she do that?
What was she even giving MC?
Where is Unknown?
“Damn, white loaf can really go on strong” he ignored Vanderwoods snide comment focusing on V holding MC down so Rika could give her another injection
“Let’s go now Seven, no more playing around!”
Okay okay, let me just get this on my laptop so we can watch as we go
“If we take my helicopter we could be there quicker”
Yeah lets do that
Seven was in a daze
As he looked into the breadcrumbs Unknown was giving him
He began to wonder why Unknown even took MC away if he was going to help them in the end
Unless he too was forced into do this all
But why would Rika do this? What could she gain from this?
Seven turned to look at Jumin who looked at him when they heard MC’s voice
“Ready or not here it comes~” Rika sang
“You both may want to look away” Seven heard Vanderwood say before turning away
Not once had he ever looked away from the screen while on the job
You begged her to stop
Whatever it was, it wasn’t the same anymore
You began to remember names and faces but you couldn’t match them together
Please stop this, it hurts!
“Sweetie, you’re dying anyways, this is me being merciful and helping you go faster. Be thankful.”
What about that other stuff? What was that other stuff?
“It will all be over quickly if you just listen to her, please MC”
You turn to look at the stranger with the sunglasses: who’s MC?
Am I MC? Are they talking to me ?
You think you know them but you can’t match any faces or names at all
“I’d ask if you have any last words you want me to give to someone but at this point, you probably don’t know if you have any friends or family “
You shake your head trying to think
Somewhere someone has to know who you are
Why can’t I talk?
You panic; thrashing your body away from the woman and man
“Stop it!” You hear it before you feel a stinging sensation on your cheek
“Like I said, you’re already dying “ the woman says as she huffs for air
The look on her face scares you
It looks like she’s enjoying whatever is happening
“You should never talk to strangers “ you feel the weight of something hard crash on you holding your face down on the now cold floor
“Don’t ever go to places you don’t know”
The pressure intensifies making your head build more pressure like it will explode
“Rika, that’s too much” you hear the man from earlier
Help me please! you silently beg
You wonder why he doesn’t help you
“Stay out of this V”
You feel something stab your shoulder
Then you don’t feel anything at all
– Vanderwood –
Seven was annoying
Richie rich was annoying
They all were pissing him off
The rush to get to where this girl was chaotic
He was used to the silence that Seven would accompany him with
But not like this
This silence was deafening and suffocating
– V –
He didnt want to harm MC
she was one of the good ones
but he didnt want to make Rika any worse than she already was
He knew 707 or Jumin must have caught on by now
with the help he got from Unknown, he knew they would make it but not soon enough
He made sure that whatever happened; it would all be on him
Even if MC may never wake up again
even if Rika would spend a lot of time in the hospital
even if Jumin and everyone in the RFA should come to hate him
even if he should become the villain;
he would do whatever it takes to preserve Rika’s legacy and love and pride
He just needed for MC to hold onto life
She was already sick
and the medication he had replaced with the medication Rika wanted Unknown to give her seemed to have been working
He made sure Unknown gave her the treatment she needed
But he didnt anticipate for Rika to inject her with a strong dose of whatever she had made for MC
By the looks of it
it definitely was not the same that he had Unknown give her
– Unknown –
Any minute now, it would all be over
one way or another, MC would no longer suffer
He knew that by lying to Rika he was compromising his safety as well as Saeyoung’s
But he couldnt kill MC slowly
not with what RIka had made for her
Instead, he made sure he gave her the medication she needed
he made sure that Saeyoung would find the bread crumbs he left
He expected Rika to pull something big for the finally so he made MC an antidote to what Rika had
he didnt give it to her yet but he would have to leave it for Saeyoung to find if Paco didnt find a way of getting the vile out of his jacket before they got to MC
All he needed now was to find a way to make amends
To MC and to everyone else
but he would do that after he found a way to forgive himself and Saeyoung
because if he didnt make him hate him; none of this would have happened
and MC would have had treatment for this and have never been involved
When would Saeyoung see how toxic both were to everyone else?
Especially to someone good and simplistic and perfectly normal like MC.
Did Saeyoung even know?
Did his brother know how toxic both brothers were to everyone?
How about RFA+V and Saeran react to MC completely disappearing once Rika comes back and everyone ignores MC. Like she was replaced by Rika, and the last thing they saw of her was "MC has left the chatroom"
I’m gonna format this different than usual, just because this is… Gosh this is a really good ask, and I want to answer it in a good way too, but the usual way just doesn’t seem to suit it, so.. heheh, I hope you guys like this format Note: The reactions are all connected, I suggest reading it in order as I wrote it to make the best sense!! ^^
To begin with, there was a lot of “Rika..? Where have you been??” “We thought you were dead” “How.. how are you back?” You were amazed too. But you felt forgotten in the excitement, no one answered you, they all acted like… Rika replaced you. As if now that she was there, you… were not. You understood at first, sure. They were all excited that Rika was back. Makes sense. But this lasted for a few days… They wouldn’t join in chatrooms with you anymore, they had just left you. You attempted one last time to get their attention.
-Hey.. guys? -I guess you’re all busy… -…. -Haha.. that seems to be all the time now ^^;; -You’re all really busy….;; -I guess I’m just a bother, aren’t I? -….. -I’m sorry -MC has left the chatroom-
At first, he was still caught up in the excitement. Rika, enticing as ever, held his attention. He at first played off your chat as a bad day, on your part. But then… you stopped coming to the chats at all. He realized it one day when he was thinking about you. He stopped in the chats and asked if anyone else had noticed. No one quite knew… when you were last on. Rika tried to say to brush it off. “She’ll come back sometime. I’m sure!! Don’t worry!” Yoosung looked back to find the chat anyways. It worried him.. what you said sounded so definitive. As if you planned to leave, for good. So he consulted Seven. “Where’s MC? Why hasn’t she been here?” “I… I haven’t been able to find them… They deleted the app, and then they just completely disappeared.” “Why didn’t you tell us sooner??” “I tried. No one would listen.” Yoosung didn’t want to believe Seven, but looking back at the chats… he saw it was true. Anything about you, everyone just brushed aside. It seemed only Seven tried to bring you up, before he too, gave up. “When did you last see MC?” “She left her home, and disappeared from the city…” “There has to be clues at her home… what’s her address?” He recorded it as Seven told him, then went out on a drive, driving through the neighborhood you resided in, scouring the houses for your address.
“What do you mean.. MC’s gone?” She hadn’t noticed it either that you were gone gone, until Yoosung brought up the chat with Seven about your disappearance. “They can’t just… be gone. Can they..?” “Jaehee, I know you were close to them..” Yoosung started, “do you know anything about where they might have gone? Could they be hiding something at home about where they went?” “I… Maybe, but… I never really saw them outside of club activities, only a couple times..” “Come with me then. We have to check her home for anything, any clues.” “Okay” That’s how the two of them ended up at your porch, first knocking the door to see if you were maybe just at home. There was always the chance, and Jaehee didn’t want to ‘break in’ if it was unnecessary, because it after all, was your home. “Let’s go in” Yoosung said after waiting a minute. “Wait– hold up, they might just be coming.” Yoosung huffed, but Jaehee stubbornly made them wait five more minutes. “Fine, we can go in.” They found the place clean. Not just clean, but to a point of… barrenness. It felt empty. Lifeless. “You’d think there’d be signs of them actually living here…” Yoosung murmured. “Maybe that’s the point…” Jaehee said. She wandered through the house, into a bedroom. It too felt empty, with a bed, an empty nightstand, and a desk. The desk appeared empty, but she checked the drawers, and found a notebook. She remembered this from times hanging out with you, you kept notes in this… it was kind of like your planner/diary/notes all blended together. “This should have something.”
He saw the chat when he woke up in the morning. “What’s going on? MC… is missing?” He didn’t quite believe it. Scratch that– he didn’t want to believe it. But he couldn’t deny how they all were ignoring you. He couldn’t help wondering if that’s what drove you to leave, the fact that everyone ignored you. Or was it something more…? “Guys, why is everyone so worried..?” Rika chimed in on the chat. “They’ll be fine, they’re probably just taking a break. It can be kind of stressful leading the RFA, I would know!! ^^” “But why would they just disappear?” Zen asked. “Shouldn’t they have given us some kind of warning?” “Just give them space, they’ll be fine.” He noticed how Rika had little concern about you, and sure it made some sense.. she didn’t really know you. Call it paranoid, but he was skeptical about her “it’s fine” act. In a moment of rogue thought, he wondered if Rika had anything to do with your disappearance. That… couldn’t be possible though. It’s Rika– he knows her. She wouldn’t do something like this. But then again.. the Rika he last knew was from at least four years ago. The details around her ‘death’ and return were vague, and V and her were shrouded in secrets. Thinking more about it, Zen felt less and less sure that Rika wasn’t involved.
“Let me see what you found.” “It isn’t much, but..” Jaehee drew out a notebook from her bag. “This is it, Mr. Han. It took me forever to convince Yoosung to let me take it, but it’s their notebook. I found it in their drawer. I thought that this might be of some help…” She opened to a page and showed it to Jumin, revealing a page of a scribbled-down conversation. Little notes labelled one side as you, the other side as someone going by Unknown. “Isn’t Unknown..?” “Yes, Unknown is the one who lead MC to the apartment in the first place. I didn’t realize they had been talking with each other…” Jumin looked closer at the conversation. It talked about plans, how you needed to leave, needed help leaving. Needed to know how to disappear, so even Seven couldn’t find you. “Why was MC planning this? And why would they go to this Unknown to do it?” He hesitates. “Jaehee, find out more about this for me. Consult Seven maybe, leave the notebook with me. I’ll continue looking through it.” Jaehee bites her lip, but doesn’t protest before heading off. Jumin starts looking through your notebook, and finds the first day you met the RFA. MC was so happy… He remmebers fondly, and starts scanning through more. -Could I really be more than Rika for them? Can I just become me and mean the same to them? -I really think I can. The memories go bittersweet as he realizes how quickly they tossed you to the wind after Rika came back. -Unknown got a hold of me on the app… he messaged me again. I think.. there’s a reason he’s back. It might be for the best to have him help me. MC… Jumin worries, are you with this unknown right now?
“Seven, you’re saying you don’t know how to handle Unknown? How he did all of this?” “I– I told you. I can’t figure out how they do it, but they always seem to be one step ahead. I’ll call if I can figure out more. I have to go.” Rika had to peep in a final word, “It’ll be fine. MC’s probably just on vacation or something~” He left the chat with Jaehee, and started scouring the computer again. His eyes hung open sleeplessly, his fingers were cramped from working on the computer for so long, but he couldn’t find you. He couldn’t find any sign of you. And he just didn’t understand it. Hearing that you worked with the Unknown to disappear, it started making sense why he couldn’t find you. The Unknown seemed to be on the same level if not more advanced than him of hacking, he could easily help you disappear without a trace online. The only clues left were what was left in your house, which meant your notebook… Seven couldn’t help but feel like he failed you. He should’ve been able to stop this. He should’ve been able to keep you there, with them. It must’ve been his fault. He failed to protect you from whatever drove you to Unknown for help. Perhaps he even failed to protect you from Unknown. His phone buzzed. A message from Rika. “It’ll be okay, okay Seven? You’ll see, things will go back to normal. The way they were. It’ll be all better with time.” Frustrated, Seven chucked his phone across the room. It clashed in the trash of Dr. Pepper cans and Honey Buddha Chip bags, all empty. He hadn’t had a proper meal since he saw you deleted the app. He hadn’t ate since his stash of pop and chips ran out… two days ago. His stomach rumbled. But he decided he wasn’t hungry, and continued typing at the computer.
“Are you sure about this?” He asked.
“Yeah,” you said, nodding. “Give them this after I’m gone. And.. thanks, for helping me. You know you didn’t have to.” Saeran grunted. “Shut up. Just get out of here, before I hack into the chat and spoil your plans.” You smiled half-heartedly. “I.. don’t think they’d worry too much over me, even if you did message them. Just.. keep an eye on (insert-your-fave-mm-charrie) for me, okay..?” He shifted his eyes. “ ‘kay.” He watched you go, holding himself back from saying anything more… “I’m sorry.”
He watched the RFA’s panic as they realized you disappeared. He didn’t want to intrude on it. Even if it pained him. He sat back and watched. The buzz and the worry over you went on for a few months. Yoosung clung onto it like he clung on to Rika’s death. Jaehee lost motivation in anything but work. Zen kept on face, looking like he was fine while reeking of vodka. Jumin invested himself heavily in the company, losing himself in it. Seven rarely was online, but when he was, reassuring everyone he was doing his best to find you. The RFA as it once was lost it’s enthusiam. Rika started working hard to build it back up.
The message was supposed to be given out to the rest of the RFA after he received it. It appeared anonymously in the mail one wintry day. He consulted Rika about it however, before even considering sharing it. She told him to burn it. Don’t leave it to be discovered, get rid of it before someone like Seven gets a hold of it. He couldn’t bring himself to burn it. He felt too guilty to. So he hid it away, in a box locked up and tucked away on a shelf, where it would gather dust and be forgotten about. It was like the memory of you, just as Rika hoped it would be. Tucked up on a shelf, left to gather dust and be forgotten about.
For @mymisst 🌺
I hope this is as good as you expected 💓
You could see Hansung from a distance in the court yard talking with Yeo Wool, showing him his best fighting stance; making a fool of himself. You couldn’t help but laugh at him as he continued. He soon spotted you, leaving Yeo Wool standing on his own looking dazed as he ran towards you. You stumbled back as he embraced you, both of you laughing with a grin from ear to ear.
“Y/N! Ah I’m so happy you’re here!” Hansung was completely overwhelmed to find you in the court yard when he assumed you’d have better people to visit like Sun Woo or Ban Ryu.
“Of course I’m here, I haven’t got any jobs to do at Hwarang House today.” You laughed, observing the huge smile that crept onto Hansung’s face the moment you arrived.
“We have to do something today! You never get any free time, I’m going to show you how great it is to be a Hwarang!” His enthusiasm was almost over powering, you couldn’t help but try to match his excitement.
“Teach me how to ride a horse.” You asked, the large smile on your face still remaining.
“Really?? Y/N this is so exciting!!” He jumped up and down on the spot, embracing you in a hug as he did so.
“Hansung calm down.” You giggled, holding his arm and bringing it down to his side to try and calm his excitedness.
“I’m sorry I’m sorry, it’s just we never get any chance to see each other apart from on days like today. These days are my favourite days.” He smiled, settling down.
“I’ll make it my job to get more days like today where we can go on adventures, okay?” You asked, meeting his eyes. You both smiled as Hansung nodding his head.
“Come on, follow me to the palace and we can get the horses and ride down to the nice forest, the one with the lake! Last one to the palace has to clean the stables when we get back!” He announced before running east towards the palace, leaving you flustered and hurriedly chasing after him.
It was Hansung who arrived at the stables first, not a surprise to either of you. You laughed, out of breath, as Hansung opened the gate to where his horse was.
“Meet Dong Yul, my personal favourite horse!” He ran into the training ground, grabbing his horse by it’s reins and pulling it along with him. You followed after him, stroking the chalk white mane and soft chestnut fur.
“Dong Yul is such a beautiful horse” you spoke, staring into the horses beautiful eyes, “is he yours?”
“Yes, I’m very proud to say he’s my horse, he’s one of the most beautiful here.” Hansung responded, walking back into the stable to get another horse.
When he returned with another horse, he saw how enticed you were with Dong Yul, stroking his soft fur and brushing your hands over his head.
“You can have Dong Yul today, I’ll take this horse.” Hansung spoke as he walked in with a pale grey horse with a jet black mane.
“Really? Are you sure? Dong Yul is your horse, not mine.”
“I’m sure, don’t worry! You two seem to have a really strong bond.” Hansung reassured you and you smiled politely back, bowing your head.
“Careful now, just step up onto the saddle.” He held your arm tightly as you attempted to get up onto the horse for the third time.
“Y/N there’s nothing to worry about, I’ve got you!” But you fell down again. This time, Hansung couldn’t hold back his laughs.
“Hansung his isn’t funny you should be helping me!” You exclaimed, standing back up off the hard ground.
“Okay okay, try getting on it again.” He said, helping you brush a mixture of sand and mud off your hanbok.
You took a deep breath and stepped up onto the horse again, trying hard to keep your balance, and sat yourself down on the saddle.
“Y/N you did it!!” Hansung cheered, applauding you, the grin on his face growing even wider.
“Now stay there while I go and grab our picnic bag.” You held firmly onto the reins firmly as Hansung left the stables, only briefly to grab some food he managed to sneak from the Hwarang’s when they were eating.
Out of no where, the horse bucked wildly. You yelped and kept your grip on the reins tight as the horse began to run all round the stable at a speed faster than you thought it could go at. It began heading for the stable doors, the ones Hansung had left only minutes ago. You called out for Hansung once you were in the courtyard again, but you could only see other Hwarang’s looking startled as the Dong Yul wouldn’t stop running no matter how hard you tried to slow him down. Suddenly, the horse bucked for the second time, this time not giving you enough warning to grip the reins as you felt yourself falling back, and no one was there to stop you.
“Y/N!” You heard Hansung call out to you and before you knew what was happening you, you were in his arms.
You panted, out of breath from the panic and on the verge of tears. You wrapped your shaking arms around his neck and whimpered into his neck, still trying to calm yourself.
He slowly settled you on the small grassy area nearby along with himself.
“You’re okay now, you’re safe.” He rubbed his large hands across the back of your head, trying to reassure you that you were safe and out of harms way.
“I thought I was going to die.” You muttered shakily.
“I’m here now Y/N, I’m not going to let anything happen to you ever again, I’m so sorry for putting you in danger, this is all my fault.” Hansung rambled, close to fretting.
“Don’t feel bad Hansung, please. I don’t blame you for anything, it was m-” before you could finish your sentence, you noticed his plump lips pressing against yours, moulding perfectly. Hansung placed his hands on your cheeks, catching the small tears that still fell from your glazed eyes. Euphoria filled both your bodies, a true connection being formed. Hansung pulled away breathlessly, hands remaining on your tear stained cheeks.
“I’m sorry I put you in danger Y/N, I love you.” He muttered, staring deep into your eyes. This was a different to the giggly Hansung you knew, this was lovestruck Hansung, but you knew every word he spoke was true.
“I love you too.” You wrapped your arms around his shoulders again and pulled him into a hug, smiling into his neck.
This was where you wanted to be; in Hansung’s arms.
“Ya, what are you doing here? Children have no place at the Okta.” His voice rang out across the crowded hall as he stalked towards me. His long black hair was carefully pulled back, his red robes of the finest silk brushed the floor as he moved gracefully to my side.
“Ohh Abeoji, I’m sorry.” I mocked him “Do you want me to take you home? The elderly should not be out so late.” My beautiful friends giggled behind me nervously, their painted faces glowing whenever Ban Ryu glanced in their direction. They weren’t as used to his beauty as I was, having grown up with it. Still, even I had to admire how radiant he was.
I first met Ban Ryu when I was 6 years old. He was a tall, strong, 8 year old boy, always surrounded by friends who looked up to him for his power and influence. Ban Ryu seemed to be more knowledgeable than those his age, but to me, his face seemed to hold sadness, his eyes guarded. I remember running up to him that very first day, my favourite children’s book in hand.
“Read to me, please!” The boys behind him had snickered and poked Ban Ryu before he sent them a death glare and pushed past me, his eyes meeting mine briefly. I’d felt tears sting my cheeks and walked to the riverbank in humiliation. To my surprise, Ban Ryu followed shortly after, without his followers, wordlessly taking the book from me to begin reading in a clear voice. From that moment on, he looked out for me. We met by the riverbank behind the Okta almost every night in the warm months. He often confided in me the problems he had with his stepfather, or his distaste for a local boy Soo Ho.
One uncommonly chilly night, when I was about 14 and he, 16 something changed. We sat slightly closer due to the cold, and I became very aware of how long his eyelashes were, of the endless black pools that were his eyes. The way his whole face seemed to relax when he was next to me, a small smile creeping onto his lips. Every time his arm brushed mine, I felt chills that had nothing to do with the weather.
“Ban Ryu,” I breathed, leaning towards him. “Don’t you think I’ve grown so much since you first met me?” His eyes widened slightly and he swallowed.
“What a question. Are you an idiot? Of course you’ve changed. Come, I’ll take you home, it’s too cold for you out here.” He roughly pulled me up and walked a few steps ahead on the way back. I frowned a little. Did he not feel anything?
We spent time together just the same as always after that, separately, never in front of his friends. But I knew now how I felt. I was in love with Ban Ryu. With the way he made me feel safe, protected and understood. I made him smile and he made my heart glow.
“Listen to me!” Ban Ryu’s annoyed voice cut through my reminiscing, pulling me back to the Okta. “Go home, this is only a place for the fabulously beautiful” He reached over and tugged on my hair.
“Ouch!” I slapped his arm angrily. “Then why are you here?” I stuck out my tongue, while my friends looked at each other with wide eyes. This was normal though. If we were weren’t by the riverbank, Ban Ryu and I bickered and teased worse than siblings. He’d asked me once, to keep our time together secret. He didn’t want to show weakness to anyone, except me.
Ban Ryu’s regular crowd appeared behind him suddenly, their eyes clouded with a little too much to drink.
“Oh my. If it isn’t Ban Ryu’s little stalker. Go home ugly duckling, but leave your friends” one of Ban Ryu’s least favourite followers stared at the girls behind me, his eyes raking over them like a predator. “Move.” He shoved me so hard I lost my balance and tumbled backwards, my skirts flying up. The jerk turned around and laughed, seeing me all dishevelled on the floor. My “friends” giggled as well, their eyes on the awful (but obviously wealthy) guy still trying to get their attention.
I sat still for a beat willing myself not to cry but when I finally met Ban Ryu’s eyes I burst into sobs and rushed out of the Okta. I know he wants to maintain his image but letting one of his buddies embarrass me - that was too much. I ran straight to the riverbank, furiously wiping my tears. My chest constricted with sobs as I cried out my embarrassment, frustration and heartbreak over the fact that it really didn’t seem like Ban Ryu loved me the way I did him. Reputation or not, if you were in love with someone you would protect them, right?
Heavy footsteps sounded behind me and I hid my tear-swollen face.
“Y/N, look at me. Did you hurt yourself when you fell? Don’t cry anymore. Please.” I was shocked. Ban Ryu’s sweet and concerned voice filled my ears and I got the courage to look at him. His lip was slightly bleeding and he was breathing heavily but his eyes were focused only on me. Suddenly, he pulled me into a tight hug.
“That was too far. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry this is my fault.” He rubbed small circles on my back, his deep voice softly tickling my ear.
“How could it be your fault?” My voice shook slightly. His whole body tensed. His hands, little fists on my back.
“I make them think it’s okay to tease you with how I act. Okay to say-” He broke off, “Ya, I’m so angry I can’t even say it. What he said to you, how dare he-” the usually so careful and eloquent Ban Ryu choked on his words again. “When he touched you, I just about killed him. If the guys hadn’t have pulled me off of him I would’ve."
I pulled away, shaking my head.
"Why? You want us to be apart in public. You don’t want people to know we’re………friends.” I hesitated, not willing to call it what I knew he wanted it to be. I was ready for more, I loved him more. He watched me carefully for a few seconds before seeming to decide something. Slowly he raised his hand to my cheek.
“Friends?” He whispered so low I could barely make out the words. Ban Ryu moved closer while I watched him, anticipation blocking my throat. When his lips gently brushed mine, I felt my body melt into his, my arms going around his neck.
“You are more than my friend, Y/N. You are my safe haven. My love.” He kissed me once more, deeper this time before pulling back to give me a bright genuine smile.
This was so fun to make! Leave some more requests in our ask box :)
Well, seeing how Mystic Messenger plays in Korea where women are generally as flat as planks and instead focus highly on the way their faces look and how to style their hair, I’d say none of the members really care for neither boobies nor butts. It’s just not something men in Asian countries seem to be too focused on. Outside of hentai that is, where breasts are the size of inflatable rubber boats. But, if I had to sort them into groups I’d say:
♬ he’s the typical breasts type
♬ he doesn’t mind them in any size, but he likes them big and soft
♬ as long as they fill his hands and are fun to squeeze, this fellow his happy
★ ever notice how obsessed he’s with the women in his life?
★ he has a huge mommy complex, so you can bet he’ll pick breasts over butts
★ don’t be surprised if he likes sucking on them a lot
♛ Jumin likes a nice butt
♛ it makes watching you leave so much more pleasant
♛ he prefers women to be skinny and flat, because that makes the clothes look so much more sophisticated and fitting
☼ he prefers breasts over butts
☼ they just bounce so nicely when you dance
☼ they also make every uniform look the right kind of fun and naughty
☀ he likes butts better than big breasts
☀ big breasts just look so disproportionate on slender bodies
☀ a big butt also doesn’t distract from a pretty face, making both your front as well as your back enjoyable
📷 he doesn’t care for either but likes both
📷 he does, however, slightly prefer breasts
📷 they are nice to rest your head on as well as photographing better than butts
How would RFA + Saeran react to MC coming home late and she wasn't able to text them (maybe he phone died idk) and she accidentally scared them because she had a face full of stage make up because she's a professional ballet dancer? Maybe she was understudying a role and the dancer she was understudying got injured last minute?
Hope you like it! ^^
MC coming home very late and with odd make up
He was pretty late himself for the little dinner you two were planning
He spent all the way from rehearsal to his house working on a proper apology “Maybe if I just smile and call her ‘babe’, she’ll forgive me…”
“Hey, babe! You look lovely ton…” he came in saying this out loud, but stopped when he noticed you weren’t there.
Of course he got desperate when you weren’t picking up your phone, all the thoughts about that guy in Rika’s apartment taking over his head. No… this wasn’t happening! He knew he should never leave you alone again…
He made a big fuss in the messenger, Seven was looking for you while Jumin was already giving instructions to his bodyguards and preparing the chopper.
You came home exhausted, it’s been a while since you actually replace someone in a performance… you never even wanted to wipe off the make up in the theatre.
Well, dinner was ruined, you just hoped Zen didn’t wait for you woke up… well, of course he did, your phone died and you couldn’t even text him, he must be worried as shit.
“MC? WHERE WERE YOU? ARE YOU HURT? DID YOU GET A CHANCE TO KNOW HIS NAME? WHAT HAVE HE DONE TO YOU? DID HE DO THIS TO YOUR FACE? WHAT THE HELL IS THIS, BY THE WAY?” okay, you knew he was worried, but not on this level.
You explained everything to him and you could see him trying to hide in embarrassment from all his thoughts, it got even worse when he had to call Seven and Jumin.
When everything was clear, you two laughed and he helped you wiping off the makeup. “Make sure to have your phone charged and give a me heads up when you perform, I’ll take the day off to watch you.”
He may have lost track of time a little when he buried his mind in the studies.
But he was pretty sure you were kinda late by now…oh! Look at the time, you’re really late!
He looked for his phone (he got that little habit from you of putting his phone as far as he could so he wouldn’t get distracted) to check on you, no texts or calls for you and no answer when he texted and called.
“Heeeyyy, did anybody heard from MC?” he tried to don’t come off as terrified as he was in the messenger. “You tell me. Aren’t you her boyfriend, dude?” Zen asked, well, his bitterness was useless as always…
Okay, this poor thing was getting ready to go after you that late in the night. He could have called Seven, but he wanted to do this alone (Zen’s words got him more that he would matter to admit…)
He opened the door, only to find you trying to get the right key in the lock, you both yelped, scared.
“Yoosung, what are you doing woke this late?” “MC, what happened to you?” you were both staring at each other as you two were criminals getting caught.
You explained everything about being called last minute when you just put your phone to recharge and that make up being part of the number.
He sighed in relief: “I was about to go look for you, MC!” “Really? How brave of you! You deserve a prize after I take this off.” He got so excited he wouldn’t really mind the makeup…
You were at the café working when you got the call
Of course she didn’t oppose to you leaving sooner and going to the theatre, though she really wanted to go with you and watch you, but she needed to stay at the café
So she closed the café and decided to proceed on a little paperwork, usually you work on this so she doesn’t have bad memories of her days at C & R.
And she wanted to help you with this so you wouldn’t get worried after the long day you were probably having, but she remembered how boring this was, and ended up sleeping.
She woke up with the sound of the café door being open… A burglar? Not on her watch!
It was dark, she just saw this weird figure and used her judo skills to give this person a ippon.
“Ouch, Jaehee! Are you that mad with me for being late?” oh no… this voice… she promptly run to find the light switch and find you on the floor.
“MC, I’m so sorry! I… I… what happened to your face?” you didn’t fall with your face on the floor, she was pretty sure…
She was still worried, she completely forgot that she couldn’t really have hurt you bad with just a simple ippon…not that you tried to calm her down, you were just happy she was hugging you this much…
He got home after a business trip longing to find you and Elizabeth the 3rd
Only the cat was there. He was happy to see her, but he would be happier if you were here… where could you be?
He tried to get a hold of you, nothing. He asked the bodyguards and when they told where you were, he managed to calm down a little, but still… it was very late…
How would you come back home? He already dismissed Driver Kim’s services for the night.
Should he drive himself? He was willing to, if that meant you would be safe… but you wouldn’t be safe with him driving, that’s a paradox!
He listened to the door being open and saw Elizabeth tensing up, what was she seeing?
He activated the security system, a loud alarm went off, but there was another sound… he knew this voice…
He went to the living room, finding very confused bodyguard staring at you painted face. What were they supposed to do? Was this a fashion emergency?
“Jumin, what’s going on?” “You tell me, MC. I was worried wondering how you would come home…” “And what setting the alarm has to do with this?” the bodyguards were thinking the same, though none of them would ever dare to say something.
When everything was solved, you two were cuddling when you noticed his back and shoulders all tense, yours were pretty sore too. “Scratch my back if I scratch yours?” you asked playfully rubbing his shoulders in an attempt of massage, he smirked at you and you knew what that meant, he had another way to relax in mind…
He spent the whole afternoon locked in his office and completely lost track of time.
He was hungry for food and for your company, he found a little bento box in the fridge, but couldn’t find you.
That was weird. And when he realized it was very late, he got worried.
He tracked your phone, it was a little harder since it was turn off, but nothing that complicated.
Apparently, you were on your way home. Thank God! He needed to take a shower and look presentable to you…
He was taking his clothes off when he heard the front door being open. You? No, according to GPS, you were still a little far, you couldn’t be here this fast… an intruder!?
He turned the lights off to face you with this weird make up on. He couldn’t help yelping in scare, pointing the taser gun at you.
“Saeyoung! Calm down! It’s me!” you said raising your arms like you were surrendering.
“M-MC? How did you get here that fast?” “One of my friends gave me a ride. Did you really think I was going to come here by foot?” well, he didn’t think much, he just missed you and wanted o look and smell good to you, and… oh shit! Now you both notice he has just his boxer briefs on…
“My eyes are up here, MC.” He teases you, and you smirk. “Were you about to take a shower? Maybe we can take one together and you can help me wipe this off and…” he didn’t even let you finish, he threw his underwear at you and ran to the bathroom, telling you to hurry~
He was starting to get annoyed, where the hell were you?
How long do these things last? Did you really have to work this late? Ugh… he hated being worried like this, but he couldn’t help it.
And when he tracked you and realized your phone was dead… ugh! Would he really have to scold you for being that irresponsible? He didn’t want to pick up a fight, but you were impossible sometimes!
He slept in the couch waiting for you, being this annoyed was very tiring sometimes…
You came in and noticed him, your heart fluttered… he looked so adorable and peaceful. Would he wake up if you gave him a little smooch?
He woke up with this hideous face very close to his and pulled you away, scared.
“Saeran? It’s me! What’s wrong?” oh… this voice… shit! He was ready to punch this weird figure, could he imagine if he ever hurt you like this?
“I have to ask you the same! What were you doing? And… what happened to your face? Have you lost a bet or some shit like this?” he tried to hold back a laugh, but it was impossible. You rolled your eyes and chuckled a little.
“I didn’t want to wake you up, but you looked so cute, I wanted to kiss you. I’m sorry…” now his heart was fluttering, you were the cute one here, for fuck’s sake.
“Well, take that thing off and you can do much more than kiss me. Hurry, I’m waiting.” He said, heading to the bedroom
Request: Hi! For the Hwarang scenarios, what about one where you are a great enough fighter that you are asked to be the ONLY female hwarang (but against your will). Once inside, Ban Ryu is constantly complaining about how you shouldn’t be there and how it’s a disgrace for a woman to be in the Hwarang house. The two of you keep bashing heads bc even though you didn’t want to be there, you weren’t going to take that from him. Once the princess gets there she gets jealous that most of the hwarang gets close with the female hwarang and tries to get rid of her. - @starbooks13
Ban Ryu’s irritation resonated through the whole room, and it felt like the temperature dropped. The frigid air almost matched the iciness in his eyes. Your hands tightened by your side. You did not like the way he spoke about you nor were you going to allow those words to leave his mouth again. “If one is able to improve Hwarang, then I am willing to bend the rules a little, whether that help be a man or a woman, Ban Ryu,” Master Wi Hwa said. “It is no different than allowing a half-blood like Sun Woo or one of royal blood like you in this household. None of those things will matter here. As for the upset officials, I cannot help with what their sons lacked. (Y/N) will be staying as the queen ordered.”
“You must be intimidated.”
Hearing your voice, the other Hwarangs turned to you, eyes wide. Ban Ryu narrowed his eyes. “What?”
“Doesn’t Park Young Sil despise Her Majesty? So, why would he have his adoptive son join Hwarang unless there was an ulterior motive? Is there? Don’t think that I am not aware of your stance on the formation of Hwarang either, Ban Ryu. If you don’t like such idea, what bothers you so much about me being here then? Other than me being a lady.”
You crossed your arms, waiting for a counterargument. Ban Ryu’s jaw clenched, and his brows furrowed. He started to open his mouth again to bite back when Master Wi Hwa immediately cut off the quarrel. “Enough. Both of you,” he ordered sternly. The chief instructor glanced over at you. “Go see Miss Ah Ro for your uniform right now and return for training.”
You were the first one to end the glaring competition between you and the other angry royal blood, knowing that your father wouldn’t be happy if he was to hear about your attempt to kill a member of Hwarang on your first day. “I shall meet with Miss Ah Ro,” you answered. You walked through the group of males, and their eyes continued to follow you. On your way out, you passed by Ban Ryu, but not without hearing him slip a quick murmur.
As soon as you stepped outside of the lesson room, you let out a loud annoyed sigh, walking to the physician’s room. “First day here and I’ve already been targeted by Ban Ryu, that jerk. I should just cut off his tongue so that he can’t say anything else. Ugh! Father, I don’t think I can do this.”
Maybe if you gave up fighting and married instead, you wouldn’t have to stay. No. Fighting was something you excelled at. Your father wanted you to use those skills for a bigger purpose. He would be so proud. Plus, if you decide to just leave, that would definitely feed Ban Ryu’s satisfaction. You’d rather die than give him that.
Landing yourself in front of what you figured to be the physician’s room, you slowly opened up the door. “Miss… Ah Ro?” When she heard your voice, Ah Ro turned to you and hurried to stand.
“Miss (Y/N)! It’s been a while since we’ve last seen each other!” she exclaimed with a smile. “I was told that you would be coming to see me. Please come in.”
You smiled back and stepped into the room. You were acquainted to Ah Ro because of her well-known father from the village. Even though you had your own family physician, sometimes you preferred to see the best physician instead. During those visits, Ah Ro would occasionally be there as well, and the two of you exchanged few words.
“I am both surprised and in awe that you have chosen to become a Hwarang, Miss (Y/N). My brother told me that a woman was joining.”
“Your brother?” you asked, puzzled. Ah Ro has never mentioned a brother. You were so sure you’ve never seen anyone else besides Ah Ro and her father live together.
“Ah, yes. It is… quite a long story. I have found my long lost brother,” she said, a sincere smile appearing on her face. “His name is Sun Woo. I think-”
“The half-blood. I remember Master Wi Hwa mentioning him.”
Ah Ro nodded her head. “I hope you are able to assist him while you’re here, Miss (Y/N). My brother is always doing his own things that it can get him in trouble. He does before he thinks. He doesn’t have the best view on royal bloods, but he will definitely warm up to those he grows to care for.”
“I am delighted that there is another lady here in the Hwarang House with me. I hope we become closer.” Ah Ro reached for something on the table, and when she held it up, you realized it was your uniform. The uniform looked similar to the male’s with a few adjustments. Instead of it being blue on the side with purple accents, yours was switched. You actually liked it.
You took the uniform from Ah Ro. “I am just as delighted that you’re here, too,” you told Ah Ro, face lighting up. “At least there’s someone here who hasn’t given me such a hard time.”
“Has someone already done so?” Ah Ro inquired.
“Yes.” A very clear image appeared in your mind. “But it’s not something I can’t handle so I am not worried. Thank you for the uniform, Ah Ro.”
“Good luck, Miss (Y/N)!”
Once you changed into your new attire and felt the new fabric on your skin, that was when your title of a “Hwarang” seemed official. The uniform itself was a display of what you stood for to everyone else, but what exactly was its meaning? Were you really a protector for the people? Or just a pawn for the queen? “Hwarang,” you whispered to yourself. Even the name on your tongue carried quite some weight.
You gathered all of you hair to tie into a neat ponytail before heading back outside to the training area as asked. Even though you didn’t want to admit it, the number of males around intimidated you. There was not a single person that you considered yourself close with. You knew most of the family they came from, but to answer about their personal lives would be quite difficult. Scanning the group, you tried to find at least one person to stand next to.
Just then, there was a small tap on your shoulder and a voice that called your name, “(Y/N).” You turned around to find Soo Ho.
“Oh, Soo Ho!” you replied, letting out a small gasp of surprise. You had no idea he would approach you. “I haven’t seen you since you joined the group. It is nice to see you again. My father kept going on how I should stick with you once I got in here, haha.”
Soo Ho chuckled. “Is that so? My father also told me that I should help you as much as I can with your first few days here. I doubt you’ll need my help though. Still, I am here if you need anything. Come on, I’ll take you to some of the other people that I’m close to here.”
You followed behind Soo Ho until he stopped in front of his friends. “(Y/N), I’m sure you know some of them already,” Soo Ho said.
Looking around, you nodded.
“Wow, you look really cool, (Y/N)!” Han Sung exclaimed. “You already fit right in with us! Don’t you think so Yeo Wool?” Yeo Wool, who was standing right next to Han Sung, nodded his head in approval.
The compliment made your cheeks flush a little. “Thank you,” you said before turning to face the fighting equipment. “So, how does training work around here? Do we just pick up a weapon and find someone to fight?”
“Sounds like someone’s a little eager for combat,” Ji Dwi said, a look of amusement in his eyes. “That usually is it, but the instructor usually tells us what we’ll be doing until dinner. What? Are you a little fired up from your little argument a while ago?”
You rolled your eyes, groaning. “Please don’t remind me.”
“I bet money that (Y/N) will win if she actually fights with Ban Ryu. I’ve seen her before. I’m glad she put that jerk in his spot today,” Soo Ho said confidently.
You couldn’t help but laugh until you felt a rough bump against your shoulder, pushing your body back. The laugh immediately stopped, and you shot a glare at the culprit. “Speak of the devil,” you muttered under your breath.
After taking a deep breath, you tried your best to remain calm. “You should really watch where you’re going,” you told Ban Ryu.
“You should really watch where you’re standing, princess” he said in retaliation. “Like I said, if you can’t handle what goes on here, it’s not the place for you.” Ban Ryu proceeded to walk away, standing a few feet in front of you.
In your head, you cursed him many times. You couldn’t understand how mighty he walked around when words like that left his mouth. “I really hate him,” Han Sung huffed, crossing his arms. You agreed.
A loud gong rang out. You straightened up at the sound, signaling for attention and watched the instructor walk out. “Today, we shall practice with knives. I’ll teach you the basics in how to avoid a knife as well as how to fight without a weapon when you’re up against an opponent with a knife. Afterwards, you will take turns practicing with a partner. Do well and we’ll finish early.”
Partner, you thought to yourself. Anyone but him, please.
Your faith in the heavens became stronger. You ended up pairing with Ah Ro’s brother during practice. While you both went over the moves, you caught some ill-mannered guys loudly talking about how you and Sun Woo were great matches with each other.
“Isn’t (Y/N) great at fighting though?”
“Come on. How great can she be? Probably good for a girl but she’s nothing compared to us. Then there’s Sun Woo. He can barely fight.”
You wanted so bad to talk back, but you didn’t want them to ruin training time for you at all. Maybe there’ll be a day for you to teach them a lesson. “Don’t worry about them,” Sun Woo said as he continued to dodge your attacks.
You swiped your knife to the half blood’s left, hitting air when he moved away. “I’m not worried about them,” you promised. “You shouldn’t be either. Focus on my moves.”
“I don’t wanna sound rude,” Sun Woo said, dodging another of your strikes, “but are you really good at fighting? I mean, you must be since the queen brought you in. Everyone is saying something, but I haven’t seen it for myself yet. I’m quite curious.”
You smirked. The sun was beating down in the late afternoon. You noticed the sweat on Sun Woo’s face. He was breathing heavily as he tried to keep up. “You wanna know a secret, Sun Woo?”
“I’m going easy on you.”
“What?! This is you going easy on me?!”
A little more than a week in the Hwarang House later, you finally started to get the hang of things. You would eat meals with Soo Ho, Ji Dwi, Han Sung, Yeo Wool and Sun Woo. During the break times, you would sometime go visit Ah Ro. Training was still your favorite time of the day. The insults lessened when the instructor started one-on-one sparring, and you were up against the fools who spoke badly about you, putting them in their place. Having been humiliated, they didn’t say anything bad to you anymore.
Ban Ryu still took jibes at you whenever he found a chance, and you would always counter. Even Master Wi Hwa was getting tired of the altercations. A few days ago, both of you had to go in town to retrieve some medicine for Ah Ro while she tended an injured Hwarang. Master Wi Hwa thought it would help the two of you reconcile, but you two clashed walking all the way back. Therefore, Master Wi Hwa pledged to never allow the both of you to go out in public together ever again.
After training for the day, you made your way to the bathhouse. While the rest of the Hwarangs were assigned to showers after dinner, yours was before. You hated sweat sticking onto you while you ate. The stench along with it wasn’t pleasant, either. You didn’t know how the men did it. You soon found the doors to the bathhouse and pushed it open. “Hello?” you called to make sure the room was empty. When no response returned, you closed the doors behind you and undressed.
Warm waters ran down from your hair all the way to your toes. Stress went away, and you let out a long sigh. You couldn’t wait to visit home in a few days. Father would most likely want updates, and you wanted to let Soonja know how you were managing, too.
You were letting the water wash all of the soap suds away on your body when you thought you heard footsteps from outside of the bathhouse. Wiping the water from your eyes and lowering the strength of the shower head, you stopped to listen to the noise outside.
As you figured, they were indeed footsteps. “What in the world?” you said to yourself. No one was allowed to be around the bathhouse at this time except for you. You froze, suddenly realizing that anyone could be outside right now. You looked down at your naked body, a million thoughts running through your head. The showers had covers on both sides of you, so whoever walked in wouldn’t be able to see anything other than your face. Still, that didn’t help you feel any better.
Your eyes pinned to the door, waiting on any movement. The door started to shake a bit. Your felt your hairs stand up. I’m going to kill whoever walks in, you thought to yourself. You thought of yelling to let the person on the other side know that you were already occupying the bathhouse, but it was too late.
The door opened, and as soon as you met eyes with the intruder, you let out a scream. “Ahhh!”
“Ahhh!” A deep voice screamed back at you.
Ban Ryu quickly covered his eyes while you shielded your body with your arms. “What are you doing here?! You’re not supposed to be in here! Get out you pervert!”
You were pretty sure your face was red from embarrassment, and so was Ban Ryu’s because he immediately shut the door closed. You could hear his quick footsteps leaving the bathhouse. You turned off the water and hurried to dress back in your uniform.
It was time for dinner, and you made it to the entrance. You looked in the dining hall to find your group of friends. As your eyes searched, you found Ban Ryu sitting at a table with his group. At the same time, Ban Ryu glanced up and saw you standing outside the door. His eye widened, and he started to cough, surprising everyone at that table. “Ban Ryu, are you okay?! Drink some water.”
You felt your cheeks heat. You rushed inside to get your tray of food and sat at your table. The minute you sat down, you began to stuff yourself with spoonfuls of rice. “Slow down over there or you’ll choke,” Sun Woo deadpanned, looking over at you as he paced his own eating.
“(Y/N) is probably just hungry. She’s eating well, and I think she looks pretty like that.” Han Sung beamed. “(Y/N) looks like a cute chipmunk with her cheeks puffing out when she eats.”
“No… she’s definitely going to choke if she doesn’t slow down,” Ji Dwi said, agreeing with Sun Woo.
“Anyway, what do you think about the princess coming to see us?” Soo Ho brought up. “She’s coming in two days, and no one has any idea why.”
“It’s probably not a good one,” Ji Dwi mumbled.
Yeo Wool shook his head. “I, for one, actually think it may be interesting. What do you think, (Y/N)?”
Part 3! Sorry for the wait! Starting from today I will work on a fic for our lovely King! (Don’t worry I will also update this fic since so many of you have enjoyed reading this series!) So please look forward to that as well! Thank you for reading and I sincerely hope that you enjoy this chapter! Sorry for any inaccuracies that doesn’t match up to the real plot of the story. :)
Ps. Please tell me if I’m the only person that cackles like no tomorrow when Ban Ryu is in the shower. Like his little messy bun got my rolling. It’s so funny and cute LOLOL.
I roll over in my mattress groaning in pain, my head really
hurts. Pressing my cold hands against my forehead I sigh at the little relief
provided. What even happened yesterday night? Forcing my heavy eyes open just a
crack the blinding light made them shut immediately. “God…” I hiss under my
breath while turning over onto my side. I scrunch up my face at the unfamiliar
material enveloping me, it felt so smooth almost as if I was wrapped up in
silk. I rub at the material between my thumb and index finger…wait this is
silk. I shot up from bed to look down at expensive material that draped around
my body. “What happened yesterday?!?” I whine untying the robe quickly, “I
wouldn’t do that, you are naked under.” I freeze in my actions holding the
fabric closed around my chest, “You jerk what happened?” He sighs, “So early in
the morning and you are already picking a fight that you can’t possibly win.”
It’s too early to deal with his attitude I thought visibly rolling my eyes at
him, “I suggest you change and give back my clothes before the others wake up,”
he indifferently says before getting up himself. I raise my brows standing up
as well, “Wait your clothes? T-This silk…” “Is mine, so hurry and change before
you dirty it. God knows you can never repay me back for it if you get it stained.”
I open and close my mouth in confusion and ultimately at a loss of words, how
many drinks did I have yesterday? After quickly changing I bundle up the
expensive silk robe and whipped it at Ban Ryu’s face, “Whoops, sorry my hand
With a smug grin I turned to open the sliding door, but
someone beat me to it from the other side. “WAKE UP YOU LAZY RATS!” A large man
yelled directly at my face causing me to stumble backwards in shock while
wiping away his spit that splattered all over my face. I quickly dodge out of
the way and into the hallway as I watch from a distance as my roommates got
aggressively man handled out of bed. I let out a snicker at Soo Ho’s
high-pitched scream paired with excessive arm flailing when he thought that
they were under attack. Once everyone was cramped in the hallway I bite my lip,
daring to look up at Ban Ryu, before I could reflect on what happened yesterday
night we were herded like cows into the practice grounds. Squinting at the
bright sun it took awhile before my eyes could focus on a very angry Wi Hwa
standing in front of us. The elder clears his throat before lecturing us with a
booming voice, “Going out to Okta and returning late and tired the next day,
fighting among each other when you are supposed to be working as a team! I have
had enough of your behaviour! From today onwards no one leaves the grounds
without permission. And if I catch any one of you failing to follow that rule
you will be kicked out of Hwarang, understood? Dismissed!”
Today’s schedule was fully packed with back-to-back physical
training and house chores. The morning wasn’t too bad as simple tasks like
laundry and cleaning was done, however the dull throb in the back of my head
made simple tasks like that hard to focus on. It was funny to watch the amount
of difficulty that was expressed among the majority of the Hwarang from just
doing simple housework. Never in my life have I heard so much whining coming
from grown men.
After all the chores were done the real training began.
Placed in front of me were nine cups of alcohol, very strong alcohol, I thought
as I smelt its pungent aroma. The orders were to drink all nine cups and to
practice sword fighting while under influence. The logic behind it was to
“Prepare us for any situation” although it really seemed like an excuse to see
us embarrass ourselves or get seriously injured. With shaking hands I reach for
the first cup, here it goes, I thought knocking it back into my throat. I
instantly gagged at the strong substance, it burned exponentially compared to
the ones I drank yesterday. Wait, drank yesterday? The alcohol triggered my
thoughts from the previous night that I couldn’t for the life of me remember
what happened. While sipping on the fifth cup I recalled my coziness with Ban
Ryu, oh my goodness…I cuddled with… “JERK FACE!!!” I splutter causing all the
liquid to spray out of my mouth and onto the lucky person in front of me. With the
cup still in hand I look up with widened eyes to only meet with the said man’s
stoic face. Loud drunken laughter was erupted among the men who witnessed me
accidently insulting Ban Ryu in front of all the Hwarang and elders and to top
it off, spitting on him for good measure after it. It was a mess. A huge
pulsing vein was prominent on his forehead, I swear I could hear its throbbing
as I stared at him. He squeezes his eyes shut while the corner of his lips
twitch in annoyance. “Please don’t kill me!” I scream throwing my ceramic cup
at him out of fear. Before the cup could hit the floor and shatter he roughly
grabs the front of my hanbok, pulling me towards him. “You will pay for this,”
he lowly growls before letting go and turning back to finish his drinks, never
failing to slam down each cup with increasing force. “I’m dead…” I chant
chugging down the last few cups before collapsing onto the floor, “I’m dead.”
I started crying on the floor before sword fighting was even
started. A seemingly sober Ji Dwi slips a sheathed sword into my hands and I
hug the object close to my body before resuming to crying and rocking back and
forth. I don’t know how long I stayed like that but fighting already started
among the Hwarang. There was only one rule, no unsheathing your sword, other
than that you can basically smash your opponent’s face in with the dull object.
No matter how much I enjoyed sword fighting the alcohol didn’t allow me to
move, with a swimming vision and heavy eyes I continued to snooze until some
brave or very dumb person tries to attack me in my sleep. My nap didn’t last
very long to my dismay, being awoken by someone kicking my feet. With closed
eyes I roll onto my side and mumble a quick, “go away” but it wasn’t very
effective. Wi Hwa pulls me up by the back of my hanbok and practically throws
me into the war zone, aka the field filled with drunkards waving their swords
in the air before tripping over their own two feet and wiping themselves out. I
whine, extremely upset from being woken up for this mess. Using my sword as a
walking stick I made my way across the chaotic field, hoping to find a further
place to sleep away from Wi Hwa’s hawk like vision. Luckily majority of the
Hwarang ignored me walking in the middle of their fights, even though I was
extremely tipsy I could probably beat their heads in still. I found a shaded
spot not too far and I continued to make my way towards it, only stopping when
a dull object smacked into my chest with a hollow thud noise. “Whoa,” I stumble
backwards, finally getting my footing steady I follow the sword back to its
welder, the notorious grumpy man. “You have a price to pay,” he states with a
straight face and I nod up at him, “Okay, I’ll beat you up as payment.” Despite
Ban Ryu’s roll eye he lets out a soft chuckle and taps his sword under my chin
teasingly, “I’ve seen you hold your alcohol I highly doubt you can.” I pout
childishly, even though I’m tipsy I can still be stubborn as ever, I’m not
going to be shoved around by him today. Gripping the sword in my left hand I
lunge towards the tall jerk before faking a swing and catching the sword with
my right hand. I grin catching him off guard before delivering a hard blow into
his ribs with the blunt of my sheathed sword, “Tadahh!”
What I didn’t expect next was the hard throb I felt in my
cheekbone as Ban Ryu accidently threw a fist into my face as he fell forwards
from my attack. “Oof,” I yelp falling along with him. His heavy weight pins me
beneath him as I struggle to push him off. I could feel the heightened emotions
I got from the alcohol as I struggled to keep my tears in. I sniffle holding my
throbbing cheek, “You were nicer yesterday.” He looks deeply into my eyes, I
couldn’t tell what he was feeling at the moment. “You were drunk out of your
mind yesterday. I had to watch over you like some baby because I promised to
help you keep your secret.” I nod at his words and it made perfect sense, I
didn’t realize I spoke what I thought in my head, “I thought you liked me…” Oh
I said it out loud. I look up to see his reaction but it wasn’t what I
expected, “Yesterday didn’t mean anything, nor will my help come without a
price.” He says flatly before getting me up and retrieving his sword. I didn’t
bother to get up as I lay there thinking about his confession, I really didn’t
expect that or maybe that wasn’t something I wanted to hear. I nod at nothing
in particular before closing my eyes trying my hardest to keep the stinging hot
tears at bay. “Don’t cry you baby,” I quietly scold myself while clenching my
eyes and jaw.
I don’t know how much time has passed but the sun was
setting by the time everyone started to sober up from the hectic drunk sword
fighting “training”. From the ground I didn’t realize that Ah Ro and her
friend, Soo Yeon entered the Hwarang home. I guess practice got a little too
rough with some of the other members that they needed medical attention. I
really hope the elders would learn from this and don’t plan anymore of these
ridiculous training practices ever again. A familiar warm hand was placed on
top of my forehead causing my eyes to flutter open, “Hey Ah Ro.” She looks down
at me with a pout, “Don’t ‘hey’ me! Can’t you try a little bit harder to not
get hurt!” I shrug at her lecturing before touching my tender cheek causing me
to flinch, “Ow he got me good.” Ah Ro tut and clicks her tongue a few times
before she pulls me up onto my feet. I cry out in pain from my added headache
as she quickly pulls me along, each step causing a throb to shoot up to my
brain. “We need to put some ointment on that now before it swells up more,” she
explains seating me beside her medical kit. I nod in agreement as she rummages
through her kit while I observe the other Hwarang. It seems like most of them
sobered up and were walking around aching, or they were knocked out on the
ground sound asleep like a giant baby. “Okay stay still,” Ah Ro orders leaning
in to apply some really pungent smelling ointment. Before I could comply I spot
Ban Ryu with Soo Yeon, Soo Ho’s younger sister. What really irritated me was
that he was smiling sweetly at her, no attitude or sarcasm included. He really
did mean it when he said he didn’t have any feelings towards me, how naïve of
me. Clenching my fist and jaw I couldn’t stay still, I was angry. Maybe I was
so upset that the only way I could cope with it was to turn it into anger, at
least I wouldn’t cry and embarrass myself further more. Before the ointment
could be spread on my face I got up and headed back to my room despite Ah Ro
shouting for me to come back.
“Dumb, idiot, stupid…” I chant through clenched teeth. I’m
so mad, I thought throwing a punch into the wooden frame of Ban Ryu and Soo
Ho’s shared bunk bed. I kept on throwing punches at the poor innocent wood with
increasing strength until the skin on my knuckles split open. Taking a deep
breath I watch as the blood dribbles down my fingers and onto the ground, it
was calming, almost therapeutic. I felt better getting out my pent up rage but
now with the fire gone I felt incredibly defeated. I wanted nothing but to take
a long hot relaxing bath however that wasn’t possible, being paranoid that
someone would walk in when I’m mid bathing so I quickly cleaned by myself up
which helped clear my mind dramatically. Now in a better state of mind I was
ready to join the Hwarang back outside. I sat on the stairs in a more secluded
area of the palace, watching Ban Ryu and Soo Yeon from afar. I surprised myself
at my new reaction to their interaction. As I watched him from here I could see
how happy he genuinely was around her, I could never have that effect on him. I
could feel my cheeks flush when I heard his laugh at something she said, finally
understanding my feelings I nod and get up to tend to the horses. Might as well
be productive and get my mind off things, even if it meant doing chores. I
finally understood now, I really liked him. Even if he is grumpy, rude, and
stuck up he managed to burrow himself deep into my heart for some damned
reason. But after seeing him so happy with the company of Soo Yeon I couldn’t
possibly be mad anymore. When you like someone you just want to see them smile
and if Soo Yeon is the one to put that smile on his face then I won’t intrude.
No matter how much the sinking feeling I felt in my heart was uncomfortable and
hard to bear I would do it, that’s what you do when you like someone right? You
put them first regardless of your own selfish feelings. Even though I knew what
the right thing to do was I couldn’t help the hot tears that spilled over. “Ah
dumb girl,” I chided myself with a smile. I rub my eyes with the sleeve of my
hanbok trying very hard to stifle my sobbing but it was difficult, it hurt so bad.
I walked to the corner of the horse stable where a large stack of hay was sat.
I’ll just cry pathetically here where no one can hear or see me. Curling up
into a ball I cry into the prickly straw, thinking about all the possible
reasons why my favourite grumpy flowering knight didn’t reciprocate my feelings
towards him. “Maybe because I’m ugly, or stupid. He always calls me stupid. I’m
of no class, basically a lowly peasant who worked day and night jobs to get by.
I chose a life as a Hwarang so I would have a place to call home. I have no
manners, no family, and too stubborn for my own good picking fights that I know
I would lose. Wow I really am a poor excuse of a human,” rolling over onto my
back I look up to the wooden ceiling, “UGHHHH!” I sit up tapping my index
finger on my chin, “If only brother Gun Chul was here he could give me advice.
Or beat up stupid Ban Ryu. But he had to go die and leave me here all by
myself!” I scream ripping at the stack of hay aggressively. I couldn’t help but
smile remembering his passing, even though it was the worst day of my life his
last words to me were something, “I hate
it here so I’m glad I’m finally leaving, just a bit sad that I’ll have to leave
your side though. We haven’t been separated since you were born but know that I
will always be watching you, so don’t do anything stupid or you’ll give me a
headache even when I’m in heaven…or burning in the depths of hell hahaha.” I
laugh shaking my head remembering his stupid parting words. Maybe it was time I
paid him a visit, I could probably sneak out tonight seeing that everyone would
be exhausted from training today. Even though rules were implemented today I
could careless, as long as I didn’t get caught I wouldn’t get in any trouble.
It was nightfall everyone was sound asleep in the shared
bedroom. I look around counting each member in their rightful beds before
quickly stripping out of my clothes and putting on a simple dark long sleeve
robe. I quickly grabbed the flats I hid under my mattress and slipped them onto
my feet. Making my way towards the door I peep my head into the halls, making
sure it was empty before readying myself to bound down towards the palace exit
with as much stealth as I could possibly muster up. Taking in a large breath I
lunged forward, with great difficultly as something or someone yanked me back
by the belt around my waist. I stifle I scream by holding a hand to my mouth
before slowly looking up. “Where do you think you’re going?” Ban Ryu whispers
lowly near my ears, “You’re going to get us all in trouble.” I clench my jaw,
great this is what I really needed now, “I’m not going to get caught, I’ll be
fast.” It was dark in the room so I couldn’t really make out much but I saw the
shine in his dark eyes from the moonlight that managed to seep through the
paper walls. “I asked, where are you going?” I push him off of me before
turning to face him properly, “It’s nothing for you to worry about.” “I didn’t
ask for you to assure me. I’m asking where you are going,” he flatly states
with crossed arms. “Why do you even care so much?” I ask visibly getting
irritated for my now soiled plan. Ban Ryu sighs, “I don’t care.” I
sarcastically let out a laugh, “You have a funny way of showing that you don’t
care. Just…leave me alone alright?” “You know I can’t do that.” “Ban Ryu can
you just-” I didn’t realize I started raising my voice until he places a
calloused hand over my mouth, “Come,” he orders pulling me into the halls and
into the bathhouse.
I shake my head pacing in a small circle, “I don’t understand
you!” He grabs my wrist successfully stopping me in my tracks, “W-What?” I ask
quietly looking into his gentle gaze extinguishing the fire in my body. “What’s
wrong?” he asks still holding my wrist tightly in his large hand as his thumb
rubbed soothing circles into the back of my hand. “What do you mean what’s
wrong?” I ask squinting up at him. “You aren’t acting like yourself,” he simply
states. Watching him carefully I could see the concern he had in his eyes even
though it was obvious that he tried really hard to conceal it. “Maybe you just
don’t know me,” I say quietly looking down at his warm hand that held me in
place. He didn’t say anything to my surprise, I felt bad for saying what I did
considering how much it affected him for some reason. “I’m sorry,” I apologize
reaching up with my free hand to place on top of his, “I didn’t mean for it to
come out so rude. I guess I’m in a bad mood.” He nods pulling both of his hands
back to his sides. I fiddle with the knot on my robe before looking up at the
tall man before me, “I just…wanted to go see my brother that’s all.” He nods,
“Let’s go then.” I raise an eyebrow at him, “What?” He rolls his eyes, “Can’t
you listen for once instead of making me repeat myself every time.” I giggle at
his irritation, “I can’t help it if you surprise me each time you open your
mouth. Are you going to yell at me? Call me mean names? Or be
uncharacteristically sweet?” Ban Ryu closes his eyes with a sigh as if he’s
regretting the offer he made seconds ago, “Come on let’s go before we both get
caught.” We walk back into the halls and before he could slip back into our
room to get quickly changed I grabbed onto his sleeve, “Um can you get me the
hairpin I hid under my pillow?” He raised a questioning brow looking down at
me, “I-I need it,” I explained which he nodded without further questioning.
I held onto the sleeve of his hanbok as I pulled him along
the quiet streets of Silla. I wanted to hold his hand but I didn’t have the
nerve to and if I did it would make holding my feelings for him even harder.
Just thinking about holding his warm hand made blood rush to my cheeks, “Almost
there,” I smile back at him. He followed me into the outskirts of the capital
but he didn’t question it even though with his wandering eyes I could tell that
he was curious of where I was taking him. I drag him into the cemetery and
raised by arms up gesturing to the dark open field, “Tadah!” He raised a brow
and continued to follow me as I walked towards the spot that was marked with a
few small stones, “Here’s the real Gun Chul.” I present pointing at the stones.
Ban Ryu watches me carefully with a questioning look, “I didn’t expect this,”
he bluntly states and I smile. “He got sick a few months ago,” I explained with
a nod taking a seat in the grass. Ban Ryu lowers himself and sits closely
beside me, “I’m sorry for your loss.” I laugh ducking my head to look up at his
face, “That’s strange, I didn’t expect to hear you apologize ever.” He softly
smiles taking out my hairpin from his bosom and twirling it between his index
finger and thumb. “He gave me that,” I explained reaching out and touching the
intricate carves on the wood, “We were really poor but…before he passed he got
me this to remember him.” Ban Ryu nods keeping silent as if gesturing me to
continue about my life’s story, “Um…he didn’t really need to though. I would
never forget about him.” I look up at Ban Ryu as his fingers glided over mine,
“How could you be so positive about all this? You’re still smiling.” I hum
pulling my hand back, somewhat reluctantly, “He hated it here, and I guess he
was happy to leave so if he’s happy then I’m happy.” Ban Ryu raises his hand
and I was prepared for a smack on the forehead for having such dumb logic but
instead he placed his hand on the back of my head and combed his fingers
through my hair. I stayed silent as he pulled my long hair into a bun, gently
threading the wooden hairpin into it. “Your logic is dumb,” he says flatly
causing me to laugh. “What was your reason for joining the Hwarang?” he asks softly
as his fingers trailed down my neck before he places his hand back into his
lap. “Haha…this is even more dumb,” I confess scratching my cheek embarrassed,
“Well…the thing is…we were broke. We worked day and night to make enough to get
by. He overworked and his body finally decided to give up. And by myself I
couldn’t make enough to keep our home and get medical treatment done for him.
So we became homeless but Ah Ro’s family was very nice and allowed us stay with
them. However when my brother didn’t get better and passed I didn’t want to
burden them any longer… So I looked for a new home and the Hwarang gave me
that.” I didn’t even realize that tears were running down my face by the time I
finished telling him my story, “Sorry I didn’t mean to cry,” I sniffle as he
wiped at my cheeks with his sleeve. “What’s your name?” He inquires next
causing me to smile, “I like how you ask for my deep back story before asking
for my name.” Ban Ryu softly laughs, “I didn’t know if your name was worth
remembering until now.” I puff out my cheeks in mock offense shoving him with
my shoulder, “My name is (Y/n).” He nods with a gentle smile, “Thanks for
telling me that (Y/n).” I scrunch up my nose at his reply, “Oh geez, you’re
scaring me with your kindness please stop!” He scoffs making a 360 back to
himself. There was a comfortable silence that enveloped us, “Ban Ryu?” Hearing
his name he looks at me giving his full undivided attention before I continued,
“I feel the same about my brother to you.” The man raises his eyebrow not
following my words, so I continued, “If you’re happy then so am I.” The
confusion stayed on his features, “What do you mean?” I smile with a soft
laugh, “I like you, a lot. But you are happiest beside Soo Yeon so I will be
happy for you both.”
Ban Ryu’s point of view
I didn’t comprehend what she was getting at. I liked (Y/n)
more than any girl I’ve ever met, I even showed her how comfortable I was
around her by being myself. I should tell her that I didn’t like Soo Yeon as
anything more than a friend with mutual interests like giving Soo Ho a hard
time, but I couldn’t bring myself to confess my feelings to her. She looks up
at me with tear brimmed eyes but her smile never quivered on her perfect face,
“I just…ask one thing of you Ban Ryu…we need to stop having these interactions.
When you are like this…being so nice to me I can’t handle it knowing that our
feelings aren’t mutual. It’s selfish of me to ask you that but it hurts too
much knowing that you aren’t someone that I can call mine.” My chest tightens
as I watch her smile waver with tears streaming down her face uncontrollably,
it was worse than that time she got drunk. “You talk too much.” (Y/n) laughs
with tears still streaming down her cheeks, “It’s okay though. I enjoy
listening to you talking about nonsense.” She looks up with pouty lips and I
couldn’t help but reach out and pinch her cheeks. “You are dumb aren’t you?”
Before she could protest like she usually did I slide my hand from her cheek to
the back of her head before gently pulling her forwards. “Just kiss me (Y/n).”
My eyes flutter closed as her soft warm lips met mine, we barely made contact
before she pulls back and buries her extremely hot flushed face into my neck. I
chuckle at her shyness after her whole confident love confession. She snuggles
closely to me as I wrap my arms tightly around her body, pulling her into my
lap. (Y/n) timidly lets go of the front of my hanbok and slides her arms around
my neck, holding me tightly. “I messed up can I try again?” “Do whatever you want,”
I mumble feeling the heat radiating across my cheeks. “Okay I will!” She
exclaims excitedly squishing my cheeks with both hands. (Y/n) stops amidst
leaning in to flash me the brightest grin I’ve ever seen, “You’re cute,” she
giggles before continuing to press her lips firmly against mine. Unlike our
first kiss it was much more confident, filled with passion as her soft lips
moulded with mine. She smiles into the kiss before pulling away, I hear a soft
“wow” leave her plump lips as she throws her arms around me giving me the
tightest hug she could muster up. “I’m happiest with you,” I quietly confess
but nonetheless she heard as she tightened her hold around me.
We walk hand in hand back to the Hwarang house. The night
had gotten more chilly but it was bearable since any slight contact I had with
the (c/h) made my heart beat as if I ran for miles. I couldn’t help the small
smile that tugged on my lips when I catch her in my peripheral vision with the
beaming smile on her face that appeared when she sneaked glances at me. She
yawns while rubbing at her swollen eyes from all her previous crying. I
couldn’t believe this idiot thought that I liked someone else other than her,
and wasted her tears on me too. Even though I hate unnecessary crying I admit
she was adorable that she cared about me enough to shed her tears for me.
Although I hope in the future she would only cry out of happiness. “You must be
tired from all that crying you big baby,” I tease treading my fingers through
her soft silky locks. She looks up with lidded eyes with a genuine pout, “I’m
too sleepy to come up with something witty to say.” I chuckle at her
forwardness and squatted, gesturing for her to get on my back. Her usual self
would be too stubborn to take my offer in carrying her but she was too tired to
care as she obediently jumped onto my back. (Y/n) wrapped her arms around my
neck as she buried her face into my shoulder and quickly drifted to sleep.
I was surprised that we made it back into our rooms without
being caught. Then again, we would know in the morning for sure if extra chores
were given to us for sneaking out. I gently lower her into her bed and she
loudly groans, a brief moment of panic floods through me hoping none of our
roommates would stir at the sound.
Normal point of view
I groan as I lost all warmth from my soft cushion when it
became cold and stiff. My eyes flutter open, it took a while for them to adjust
in the dark but I made out the figure before me to be Ban Ryu thanks to the
small sliver of moonlight that seeped through the walls. “Stay…” I mumble as my
hands reached out to grab his. He sighs but he slips into my bed nonetheless,
holding me close into his chest. “I’ll stay until you fall sleep,” he says as
his lips brush against my forehead. “Then I won’t ever fall asleep,” I simply
state cuddling into his body, feeling his warmth spread through me once again
my eyes started to feel heavy. I feel the rumble in his chest as he chuckles
quietly, “Don’t be silly.” Ban Ryu combs his long fingers though my hair and
removes the wooden hairpin from my bun creating loose ringlets to fall around
my face. He slides the hairpin back underneath my pillow before resuming to
brush the hair away from my face, soothing me into a peaceful sleep. “Good
“I’m a peasant,” I correct half unconscious. “And you are
annoying, shut up and sleep (Y/n).”
Good night! :) The request are still open? Maybe can I ask some HC, please? I've got this idea for a time and... How do you think the RFA boys + V & Saeran react to a Fem!S/O who's always been treated like a man for her family and friends? Like she talks, dress, act and treat other people like a man, but gets all shy and blush when her S/O treats her like a female because she thinks that she's not pretty enough to use dresses and stuff like that. Maybe a little bit of nsfw in this? Thank u!!
Good night/day to you, anon :) And of course, you can request things! My ask box is always open!!
I hope I got your request right - it’s like a…”tomboy” mc, yeah? ahh I’ll try my best, please let me know if I read your request wrong ^^;; I hope you enjoy anyways! And for you, a little nsfw thrown in~
alSO I know anon said the rfa boys, but I can’t leave my wife out so she’s in a separate post! edit: which is now [here]!!!
nsfw-ish! (tbh it’s not that nsfw but i tr ied)
it never really occurred to yoosung that mc wasn’t very ‘feminine’, but he did realize the only time he saw her in a dress was at the party
which was totally her choice, but it was also how she acted
she seemed to always try to be tough, taking on things she probably shouldn’t be doing but again, go her!
but he felt bad that she wanted to carry all those heavy boxes and such
then when they went shopping one day, he saw her eyeing this dress
he asks her about it and she says no, which made him pout
they left without that dress but he was determined to get it for her..so he did, surprise!
mc grinned at first but then got all shy and asked him why he bought it
“Because you wanted it! I could tell..I just..thought you would like it..” what an angel
she tells him that yes! she does like it, but she doesn’t think she could pull it off *confused yoosung noises*
“honey, you’re beautiful!!” she gets even more blushy and shakes her head
yoosung literally attacks her with kisses until she’s all giggly - kissing her face, neck, and to her shoulders, that they end up on the couch
“come on, hun. how am I beautiful? I never wear dresses!” “you’re beautiful no matter what you wear-even wearing nothing, I want you to wear whatever you want”
this whole time, he’s like on top of her on the couch
“even wearing nothing?…” mc asks, smiling up at him. he blushes.
“yes. and i’ll show you.” and boy oh boy he does
707 / Luciel / Saeyoung
saeyoung kinda knew what was going on, but really found out when he was trying to convince her to cosplay with him
“but mc, it would be so fun!!” “but saeyoung, you want to put me in a dress.”
*pouts* “but you’ve seen me in a dress..” “that’s not the point”
“please please?? i won’t show anyone or take pictures and even put it on myself!” to really prove it, he throws on a dress himself
mc finally agrees
he lets her pick the dress, but doesn’t let her lift a finger after that
helps her undress and even put the other dress on
mc is all blushy 1. from the undressing and 2. from wearing the dress
saeyoung grins at her when he’s done and ends up staring a bit
mc blushes more, “saeyoung, you’re staring..” “well…you’re hot”
“you’re ridiculous” “no seriously. I admit that I glanced a little while helping you” “sAEYOUNG”
“I mean, I can return the favor” and he literally takes his dress off right there
wow mc is red
and now he starts pointing out his physical insecurities, all of which mc finds ridiculous he looks so good
she can’t help herself and starts kissing to what he points to
and now her dress is off and he’s doing the same for her
at the end of that, they look at each other until saeyoung pulls her into a deep kiss
guess we’ll have to cosplay another day
they were looking through his old costumes and some of them were a little, uh, revealing not anywhere bad geez i mean they were ripped
mc is kind of amazed. she asks how he wears them without being so self-conscious
turns out he has a process, it’s not just his ego my boy here has his share of insecurities
she tries that process one day with a dress when he wasn’t home
but he got home early !! and saw her !!!
obviously zen thinks she looks like The Most Beautiful Person Ever
but mc blushes and runs to the closet to hide
“babe! where are you going? that dress looks great on you!”
“no it doesn’t, zen! stop it. I’m just gonna wear jeans forever, even to the party.” what a dramatic couple
he convinces her to come out of the closet, the dress still on
but she has he arms crossed and is all pouty and not looking at him
luckily, he knows exactly what to do
he takes one of her hands and kisses from her hand to her shoulder, whispering little compliments until he gets to the other one
and the next thing she knows, he’s doing that for everything??
her face, stomach, chest, even her legs hahahah i love the body worship hc
and now she’s blushing for a whole other reason…which zen also takes care of ;))
this man wants to spoil mc with dresses, but she never wears them
he asks about that at dinner one night
and mc spills that she thinks she’s not pretty enough to wear dresses and it’s so much easier to just…be not feminine
he understands, a little
and you know, he could just.. tell her that he thinks she’s beautiful and that she could try wearing dresses if she wanted to
this man had to buy her a bunch to tell her
mc is shocked when she got home
“i just..” jumin starts, “I think you’re beautiful, and I want you to feel comfortable in whatever you wear. So I thought we’d practice, just here”
she indulges him and they have a mini fashion show that’s just her
jumin is there like “wow my wife is amazing”
she starts getting more confident at like, the 6th dress but she also starts getting tired
so they take a break, she sits next to him on their bed
he pulls her over and makes her look at him
“see, my love? you’re beautiful in anything..” mc smiles “which was your favorite?” she asks
“this one.” he answers, “because I’m taking it off”
V / Jihyun
also pretty much doesn’t care and actually didn’t notice she never wore dresses (ps this baby got the surgery here he deserves this)
until he asked her to do a photoshoot with him!
he get so excited about backgrounds and outfits its so cute
but mc starts getting shy and of course, he notices
so he asks her about it
and looking into his eyes, mc has to tell the truth i couldn’t lie to him either tbh
he listens and smiles at her softly when she finishes talking
“oh, angel..you can wear absolutely anything you want and if you don’t want to wear dresses, you don’t have to.”
however, she decides to wear one. Just for him and the photoshoot
she surprises him when she comes out of the changing room and V is like, in awe
he thinks she is amazing! wonderful! and he lets her know!
*cue blushy mc* *and grinny jihyun*
he gives her a kiss for the surprise and wants to give her like, thousands more
but since he’s not that into pda, he takes her into the dressing room to shower her with kisses
and then mc says she’s “uncomfortable” in the dress again and that she needs his help “taking it off” bad mc
thank god he has his own studio
my bean here gives no fucks
mc is thankful bc she’s so comfortable around him and can do whatever
until the rest of the rfa tells her she has to wear a dress for the party
so she tells him to complain a little, but she’s still gonna do it
“i think it’d be nice to see you in a dress. different, but nice”
aw damn, now she really has to
they go shopping together, saeran picks a really pretty one and she loves it
but in the dressing room, she doesn’t think she looks that good
“hey, mc! do you need any help in there or?” he calls out
“uh, no thank you..I don’t think I’m gonna get it though, Saeran”
“why? let me see.” and so he comes in
he tilts his head “you look great in it, why don’t you want it?”
she gives him the mini explanation given their whereabouts
he frowns and turns them to face the mirror again
“look, I think you look beautiful in this dress. and I know the rest of the rfa will, too. if you really don’t want to wear it, I’ll tell them myself, but if you like it, get it.”
both of them are blushing now, but saeran means it
and she buys it. they walk out of the store holding hands
HC (rfa+saeran) of MC being a huge troublemaker(like with the law and/or entire countries), or in a violent gang of some sort? thxxx
Okay so I had a lot of fun writing this, so as I do I went a little overboard with it. Also, the amount of research I did for this is crazy AND if the FBI is checking my browser history they now think that I am a drug cartel running serial killer looking for a hitman to hire. Great…anyway, I hope you enjoy. Also: this is only || PART 1 || and here you have || PART 2 || Anyway:
Settling down with Zen had
been astonishingly easy. For one, he was extremely devoted to
everything he did, be it his work or his relationship to you. You
never had to worry about him ever doing anything that would betray
your trust in him. Considering your profession and background that
was the key. Something that also helped was his devotion to his work.
Most people would have complained about the irregular and long
working hours, but for you they were a blessing. It made hiding what
you did to get by a lot easier. He was never home, so you never had
to explain where you went!
It wasn’t like you wanted
to keep it a secret, really. By doing so you weren’t helping yourself
but him. You weren’t exactly sure how the show biz worked, but if his
agents weren’t fine with him dating a commoner you were quite sure
they might suffer an aneurysm upon finding out that you and your
biker gang basically ran multiple drug cartels. Keeping it a secret
meant protecting him. Plus, he was always so happy when you didn’t
complain about not being able to go public, thinking you were so
understanding when in reality it was in your interest to remain on
the down low as much as his.
For the most part keeping
it a secret was easy. When he asked you about work you just told him
you worked in import and export of goods. It wasn’t a lie, just a
selective truth. The drugs never came into your home and you didn’t
take them yourself, you only made a lot of money off of them. Sure,
sometimes you had pangs of conscience about the poor souls you sold
the shit to, but then again it was hardly your fault that people were
weak enough to get addicted. It’s not like six-year-old you had
dreamed about selling crack to junkies, but sometimes life happened
and you had to suck it up.
It was when one of your
main smugglers was shot during a gang fight that things became a
little more complicated. All of your guys were out of the country
which meant you had to take care of certain dirty work. The guy had
managed to hide the stuff, but you knew better than to trust it was
safely stored until some of your other men returned to collect it.
Everyone in the business had their eyes and ears all over the world,
which meant you had to do something and you had to do it quick. The
drugs had to be picked up and stored somewhere they’d be safe and
protected. Really, there was only one option.
Making sure that Zen
wouldn’t be home at the same time as you you’d hopped on your bike
and driven to the given location. Obviously it wasn’t like you could
just walk in, get the suitcase full of crystallized LSD and walk out
like a walk in the park. You could sell a single gram of that stuff
for 3000$ counting and you had an entire suitcase full of that shit.
People were quite literally ready to kill for that amount of high end
drugs. This time you were on the receiving end of a bullet treatment.
Before you knew the shooting had started and you had to flee the
You had your own weapon,
but your priority was the suitcase and really there was no time to
pull it. You were outnumbered as well, so you ran out, willing away
the pain you felt at the hits you took. Luckily only two bullets
actually hit you, one of which merely gazed your shoulder, the other
went straight to your lower back. Still, you kept running, jumped on
your bike and drove off as fast as humanly possible. Your initial
plan had been to hide them somewhere else, but you found yourself
riding home. You needed to take care of your wounds and clear your
head before proceeding.
The only problem was that
apparently Zen had planned to surprise you. So when you dragged your
body into the apartment with the most expensive drugs on the market
in tow you weren’t alone. Instead you were greeted with the smell of
your favourite dish being prepared a happily singing Zen. You’d been
too out of it to retreat and that is when he’d turned around and
taken in your disheveled shape. You were covered in dirts, cuts and
bleeding from not one but two bullet wounds. Needless to say he had a
lot of questions. “What the fuck happened?! Oh my God, we need to
call an ambulance!”
As he ran to the phone you
ran towards him, tackling him. “No! Zen, calm down. You need to
listen to me and you need to understand what I’m telling you.” He
didn’t calm immediately, insisting to at least clean and patch up
your wounds before even letting you speak. With his background you
weren’t surprised that he remained calm or that he knew how to patch
up a bullet wound, really. “What’s in the suitcase”, he asked,
voice calm and unwavering. “Expensive as fuck LSD”, you
explained, chuckling to lighten the mood only to groan with pain when
your body reminded you of the state you were in.
Zen sighed, shaking his
head. “I can’t judge you nor will I preach to you about how what
you’re doing is wrong. I’ve been there myself, but I know for a fact
that there are other options”, he said and you couldn’t help but
roll your eyes. “My parents are dead, I never finished high school
and I don’t have a talent for anything other than this. I really
don’t have other options.” Zen met your eyes, obviously annoyed,
and flicked your forehead. “Look at you. Money is not worth dying
for.” You snorted. “Oh please, my bike looks worse. Anyway, can I
stash the drugs here?” He shrugged and merely kissed.
When you’d first started
dating Yoosung most people in your life had been more than a little
bewildered by your choice in partner. Where you were mature, he was
childish. Your calm was met by his overly excited personality and
even your interest seemed to clash. On top of that everyone felt like
you were more like a caretaker to him than he was a boyfriend to you
and they could not fathom while a woman like you would stoop down to
such a level by dating a man-child like him. In short, he could not
compare to your caliber and yet the two of you seemed to magically
What most people didn’t
understand – couldn’t, as it was a part of your personality and
life you never shared – was your love for everything innocent and
if Yoosung was one thing than it was innocent. He practically
radiated it for the entire world to sense and it drew you in like a
moth to the flame. His endless naivety you found charming and his
‘flaw’ of getting too attached and dependent on the women in his life
was something you thoroughly enjoyed. He basically gave up all
control for you to take. Your word was quite literally his demand.
Frankly, you wondered why other people didn’t see the appeal.
On top of that he never
pushed for anything. You knew for a fact that you were his first
kiss, his first girlfriend and his sexual experience. You were the
only human being that had ever laid hands on him and if that wasn’t a
pleasant thought you didn’t know what else to tell those people. He
was yours and yours completely. He was also considerate, sweet and
attentive without pushing you. He never demanded sex. He never
cornered you. He never forced you to things you didn’t want to do.
Especially things based on stereotypes like cleaning and cooking. He
made you feel free, compared to others.
It was precisely that
feeling that allowed you to open up about yourself. Out of all the
people you’d had in your life you were sure that he would understand
you. Still, obviously you didn’t overwhelm him with your personality
and needs, so you turned your confession into a longer process. It
started with little, subtle hints. You told him that if you could,
you would kill certain people, but he brushed it off as an empty
phrase. When you disappeared out at night a lot and he asked you what
you were doing you told him you were cleansing the streets of
disgusting men. He took it as a joke.
After that you continued
but with a little more obviousness. You wanted him to realize it
himself, so you had to be obvious enough, but still make sure that
the other RFA members didn’t get what you were trying to confess. You
started being reckless about hiding your bloody knifes or left blood
stains in your clothes, but Yoosung never reacted to any of those,
completely oblivious it seemed. You reckoned that hints just weren’t
enough, not with him. He was just too innocent and too pure. You also
figured that there was a certain layer of denial within him you had
to break through. Well, there goes nothing!
It was a normal, sunny day
when you finally took the last step into opening up about who you
really were. When Yoosung came home from work in the evening you
greeted him with a sight he would never forget. The majority of the
living room floor was covered by tarp, amidst of it a lonely chair
with a man tied to it. A rope tied his legs to the chair while his
arms were bound behind his back with what looked like cable ties. He
was gagged but not blindfolded, as you weren’t scared of him seeing
you. It’s not like he would ever get to tell the tale, so you were
safe in that regard.
Yoosung froze, eyes
widening as he took in the scene. He quickly slammed the door shut
and covered his mouth so he wouldn’t scream. When he looked to you
there was a bright grin on your face. Your wore an apron and latex
gloves and from that and the knife you yielded in your hand
effortlessly he deduced it wasn’t you who was in danger. “Surprise”,
you called like you’d planned some kind of birthday party for him. He
started to shiver, eyes snapping between you and the man who was
obviously trying to, but because of the gag incapable of, ask Yoosung
“W-What…what is this”,
he asked, voice shaking. Your smile was replaced by a pout. “This
is me”, you said. “I’m bearing all of me to you. Don’t you want
to get to know all of me, Yoosung?” Strangely enough, he did. He
wanted to know all of you no matter how much it frightened him. “Are
you…will you kill this man?” You beamed again and nodded. “Yes,
I will. Right here so you can watch me do it. Men like him deserve to
die. They approach me all the time, talk to me like dirt and touch me
inappropriately. This one actually tried to rape me”, you
explained, knife tracing the mans skin.
Yoosung watched you cut
the man apart, piece by piece. Watched you as you drained him of
every last drop of blood. He was torn between disgust and
fascination, incapable of averting his eyes. He watched as of all
colour left his body and then saw the light in his eyes flicked and
faint. Dead. “Why did you show me this”, he asked, astounded by
how calm he remained in the face of this. You grinned, walking over
the dead body like it was dirt to get to Yoosung. You were so close
he could feel your hot breath ghost over his cheeks as you whispered:
“Because I want you to join me, my knight in shining armour.”
It had been your free day,
so you’d decided to use your time productively and go to the grocery
store. Your fridge had been gradually getting emptier and after
stuffing your faces with cakes and pastry all day it was about time
Jaehee and you finally ate something healthy again. You knew all her
favourite dishes and with those in mind you got everything you needed
to prepare them. It had been a while since your last proper date,
actually. Most people thought that once you live and work together
dating is no longer necessary, but you kindly disagreed. One should
always show appreciation!
With two heavy bags in hand you’d
entered the apartment, humming to some tune stuck in your head. You’d
tossed your keys into the bowl next to the door and kicked it shut,
careful not to be too loud. You’d been so eager to get started as you
carried the groceries to the kitchen only to stop in your tracks when
you saw the figure leaning against the table, looking at the knife in
his hands with the kind of interest you knew would turn out to be
dangerous for you. He looked up then, grinning at you from ear to
ear. You should have been frightened and yet you found yourself
“What are you doing
here, Nam-Il”, you asked as you put down the bags and started to
unload them, not paying the man a lot of attention. “I came to get
you, obviously”, he replied. You didn’t turn around to look at him,
but you could feel his eyes tracking your every move. “I think I
made it quite obvious that I have no intention of being with you,
Nam. I am not yours to take.” You’d just finished getting
everything out of the bag when you heard the quiet steps behind you.
You spun around quickly, hands tightened around the knife you’d
grabbed. Your blade poked at his stomach, his was at your throat.
He grinned at you,
obviously amused. “As fierce as ever I see. I missed you, babe.”
You growled at him angrily, poking a little harder to let him feel
the blade properly. “I wish I could say the same.” It was
obviously that moment that Jaehee chose to enter the apartment and
come to the kitchen. All three of you were frozen until she started
to scream. You and Nam lowered your knives and put them away
respectively, but didn’t stop glaring at one another. “Jaehee,
babe, please calm down”, you told her, demeanour instantly
softening the second she was the one addressed.
“Calm down?! This man
was in the news! He’s a from that mafia gang Hwan Song Sung Pa and
just bought his way out of prison despite getting a life long
sentence and I get home to you having his knife at your throat and
you tell me to calm?!” Well, when she put it that way, her reaction
certainly made more sense than your suggestion. “I know this might
seem really bad to you, but don’t worry. He’d never hurt me.”
Jaehee whimpered. “And how do you know that?” Nam snorted,
crossing his arms over his chest. “Because she is my wife and I’d
never hurt her…much.”
The answer obviously floored Jaehee
from the way her face fell and body sagged with utter defeat. You
glowered at Nam. “I haven’t been your wife since your dumb ass
decided to get caught killing a man earning yourself a life-long
sentence in prison”, you snapped at him. He just grinned and
shrugged. “Well I am back now, am I not? Come on, babe, you know
this kind of life isn’t for you. When the guys told me you were
playing relationship with another chick I told them to leave you
alone, because I was sure that you would realize that you aren’t cut
out for this kind of boring bullshit.”
“Just shut the fuck
up, will you”, you snapped at him, holding back as to not slap him.
“Just leave, Nam. You’re scaring my girlfriend. We can talk about
this another time. I have enough explaining to do as it is. I don’t
need your dumb ass making the situation worse.” You were
exasperated and exhausted at the same time. Luckily he didn’t
protest. He merely pressed a kiss to your cheek, something you
decided to allow despite your past together, and left. You leaned
against the counter, head hanging low. So your good for nothing
husband was out and about and your girlfriend was having a
“Y-Your husband?!” You turned to look at her,
apologetic and tired. “It was an arranged marriage of convenience.
My father used to work with his people and Nam got obsessed with me.
Thinking that I would take over his business my father married be
off, so Nam and I could rule the ‘underworld’ together. It didn’t
work out. I hated that life so I ran away and he got locked up.”
Jaehee nodded, still in obvious shock. “Do you…love me?” Your
eyes widened, heart breaking. “Of course I love you! I love our
café, I love our apartment and I love our domestic life. I wouldn’t
change it for the world.”
Jaehee started to cry
then, tears running down her cheeks in streams like you’d never seen
them before. You instantly jumped into motion, running towards her to
pull her into your arms, do everything in your power to calm her
down. She shook in your arms, crying so badly in shook your whole
world apart. “I am so sorry I out you through this. So, so sorry”,
you whispered into her ear, pressing a kiss to her temple. “I
promise I’ll take care of it and then you’ll never have to see me or
Nam ever again.” She shook her head. “No, don’t leave me!” So
against your better judgement you stayed.
Despite getting married
very quickly the two of you were going strong even years into your
relationship. Despite a meticulous daily routine that to most would
seem caging and tiring the romance and lust never quite died down. In
fact, with every passing day it seemed to get more and more intense.
The need to be close to one another all the time grew to the point
where Jumin offered you the position as his Chief Assistant just so
he could have you around all day long. Logically he knew that there
were possibly more qualified people for the job, but his heart always
beat his mind when it came to you.
His need to be with you
was very well reflected in you as well, which lead you to accept the
offer without a second thought. At that time you’d been married for
about two months. Everyone had advised you against it, stating that
couples who both lived and worked together were doomed to fail. The
two of you proved them wrong. Not only did the two of you avoid any
kind of fights or fallouts, you also turned out a far better addition
to the company than most people had assumed. You knew how to handle
the finances better than Jumin’s and when you were in a meeting you
usually ran the show.
Everything had been so peaceful and
perfect you’d allowed yourself to relax, let your guards down. It was
a stupid mistake. Being the person you were with the background you
had you could never allow yourself such luxury and life loved to
remind you of that. You’d been in the middle of eating dinner with
Jumin, soft music playing in the background as you smiled at one
another while enjoying yet another perfect meal. That is when his
phone chimed with a call that would shake apart your idyllic routine
in the matter of minutes, a call you’d expected as much as you’d
He’d excused himself from
the table, apologizing for having to take the call and telling you
he’d be right back. Even with the door to the office closed you could
hear him talk angrily, catching enough glimpses of the conversation
to put two and two together. “What the hell kind of interest could
Chil Sung Pa possibly have in our company”, you heard him asked,
obviously aggravated. Your heart had sunk upon hearing the familiar
name, hairs standing up as your body froze in position. You listened
to the rest of the conversation and yet you barely registered
anything out of pure shock.
By the time he left the
office the food had grown cold and so had Jumin. He was tense and
nervous, walking up and down the flat while brushing through his
hair. You’d never seen him like that and yet you weren’t surprised.
The Korean mafia wasn’t to be taken lightly, you knew that better
than anyone. For a couple of minutes you let him pace around, walk
off some of the pent up energy that must have been buzzing through
his body. Once he’d sunken down on the couch, hands in a prayer like
position pressed to his lips as he deeply contemplated what the best
thing was to do.
You sat beside him,
wrapping an arm around his shoulder and pressing a kiss to his
temple. Surprisingly he melted into the touch soon, actually leaning
against you with a sigh, body relaxing soon. “Apparently Chil Sung
Pa is trying to either buy our company or set on destroying it. I
don’t understand where their sudden interest is coming from, but if I
don’t find a solution soon we might find ourselves losing the
company”, he explained, looking at you with an expression you could
hardly put into words. He looked like a child lost somewhere without
hope of returning. It broke your heart.
“Listen, why don’t you
let me handle this one? I think you might be a little too emotionally
involved. I mean you have dedicated your entire life to this company
so the possibility of you losing it might make you too irrational.
Those kind of people can sniff out even the slightest insecurity like
a blood hound and they’ll use it against you. I’ll keep my cool and
I’ll manage to convince them to back off, no problem.” You were
grateful that Jumin agreed without much hesitation, because it meant
he hadn’t even questioned why you knew how Chil Sung Pa worked
When the next morning came
you met up with one of the representatives that had been send to the
C&R International building to discuss the future of the company.
Despite the protests of your co-workers no one but you was allowed in
that particular meeting, not even Jumin or Mr. Han himself. You knew
it was for the best that way. The meeting didn’t last long, twenty
minutes at most. When you left the office it was the clan member that
held open the door for you as you confidently strode out of the room.
He bowed deeply to you, seemingly scared, before practically
“They withdrew their
attack on C&R”, you announced, an audible gasp going through
the rows of workers that had gathered. “How?” It was such a
simple question and yet it was difficult to answer. “Because my
father is the head of Chil Sung Pa which makes me the heir to his
empire and he knows better than to mess with my life and business.”
Needless to say it left people flabbergasted, surprised and scared.
“You are the daughter of a mafia mogul”, Jumin asked. You
shrugged and smiled at him apologetically. “Right when I thought my
wife could not get any more interesting…”
two of you had been peacefully sitting on the couch, Saeyoung typing
away on his laptop while you read your book when you heard the
movement around the apartment. The last couple of years had been
domestic bliss for the both of you, but you’d known better than to
fully settle as your past always found a way to come back to bite you
in the ass. You instantly put down the cup of tea you’d been sipping
on and the book, before shutting Saeyoung’s laptop and covering his
mouth. “Go to your work room and lock yourself in. Don’t come out
before I tell you to”, you whispered into your husbands ear.
Without much time to act
you’d gripped his wrist and dragged him off, pushing him into his
bunker-like work room and shut the door behind him. After that you
had to act incredibly fast, quickly running through the basement
apartment that you knew was no infiltrated by some of your former
colleagues. Or at least you thought they were colleagues, the line
between friends and enemy’s had always been blurred during your years
at your old agency. Luckily, you’d always slept with an eye open,
running to gather up the weapons you’d hid all over the apartment in
preparation for this exact situation.
You were the first one
to come out of hiding, showing yourself in order to spark what was
unavoidable at this point: A shooting. “I expected you to show up
much sooner”, you’d called mockingly. “Did you guys grow soft on
me? Wanted me to have some happy ever after for a while before
blowing my brains out? How nice, but the game is over now. Come on
out now, wherever you are.” The fight that followed was brutal. You
shot at least five men, the others you were forced to kill in a more
direct manner. One after the other fell until you were the only one
When Saeyoung emerged from
his room he did so to a bloodbath, corpses lying scattered around
what you’d called home for the past couple of years. You said amidst
them, holding onto your stomach where one of them had managed to stab
you. Without turning to look at him you said: “I didn’t come to get
you yet. Disobedience can cost you your life, you know? I would
know…” Saeyoung stood frozen by the door, taking the scene in as
his mind seemed to fail processing half of the thoughts he was
thinking, let alone the things he was feeling. Who was the person
he’d called his wife?
“What organization do
you work for?” You chuckled bitterly, turning around to look at
Saeyoung, blood still gushing from your wound. “Does it matter?
After the stunt they pulled today I’ll make sure the organization
won’t exist for much longer.” He’d fallen in love with an illusion,
Saeyoung realized as he heard a bitterness in your voice he’d never
heard before. “I am seriously surprised to see you this shocked,
agent 707. All this time I was so sure you knew who I was but chose
to ignore it in favour of domestic bliss but from that expression
right there I can tell you really didn’t. What a plottwist.”
The sweet, innocent girl
he’d married was gone, Saeyoung knew. Then again, could something be
gone when it hadn’t been there to begin with? Still, he felt drawn to
you, incapable of staying away. He stepped towards you, inspected
your wound before going to get a first aid kid to patch it up at
least to some extend. You could only laugh. “Why are you doing
this? Everything was a lie. Did you really think a normal person
could love you? Stick by your side despite everything you put them
through? I was sent by my agency to kill you! Do you still think that
you’re the dangerous one?”
Despite your harsh words
Saeyoung didn’t stop tending to your wound, if anything his touch
became lighter and even more gentle than before. He cleaned it and
stitched it up to the best of his abilities without saying a word.
Only when he was done did he look up, meeting your eyes and nodded.
“Yes, because I made someone like you fall in love with someone
like me.” Your harsh facade broke, tears springing to your eyes at
the broken way he said those words, like he was still unbelieving of
the fact that anyone in this world could love him. How could think so
little of himself still?
You wrapped your arms around him,
burying your fingers in his soft hair while brushing up and down his
back soothingly. “You are good, Saeyoung. If anyone deserves
someone better it’s you”, you whispered gently. He quickly
untangled himself from you, looking at you with such desperation in
his eyes it ripped at your heart. “Please don’t leave me”, he
begged you. “I don’t care about what went down here today. I know
you are more than the mistakes you’ve made…as you taught me much
the same. The problems of your past are your business. The problems
of your future are my privilege.”
And he meant every last
word. At first you thought about saying no, pushing him away and
leaving like you knew you should have done, but you found yourself
incapable of doing so. You loved this broken man before you and you’d
finally found someone who loved you just as much in return despite
seeing the cracks in the glass. How could you ever let go of someone
like that? You nodded and kissed, sealing the deal amidst of the
danger literally surrounding you. After that the two of you wordless
got up, got rid of all the bodies and blood and by the time Saeran
returned him, nothing had ever happened.
You’d never imagined that
you’d ever be able to fully and completely separate your private life
from your profession, but with Saeran by your side you’d finally
found some sort of peace. Life wasn’t always perfect – it got messy
and exhausting at times – but those were the things that made it
interesting. Both of you were fundamentally damaged people, but
within all the darkness and pain in your respective hearts you’d
somehow fund a spot for the other person to call their own and an
interesting relationship had blossomed as the result of that.
At first the two of you
were desperately trying to avoid a relationship and each of you had a
lot of rather valid reasons for doing so. Saeran was broken from the
inside out and in no way fit to care for another person in the state
he was in that didn’t even allow him to care for himself. You, on the
other hand, couldn’t allow yourself any permanent ties to the mundane
world thanks to the profession you called your own. You’d learned
from the mistakes of your predecessor and had no desire to drag
someone into the messes you made along the way. Let alone some dear
to your heart…like Saeran.
Somehow the attraction you
had for one another defeated all reason, however, and the two of you
found yourself in a messy and yet strangely perfect relationship. You
constantly gave each other shit and fights were a given and yet you
made one another better. After a certain time things just clicked
into place and you were truly and undeniably happy. So much so, you
were convinced things would stay that way. You’d been sure that you’d
keep on dragging his ass to therapy while he’d remind you to take
some steps back and enjoy small things in life, like clouds in a
clear, blue sky. You were wrong.
About two years into your
relationship with Saeran your questionable background finally caught
up to you. You’d expected it, but not quite as soon. You were on
every wanted list from the National Intelligence Service to the
Supreme Prosecutors’ Office of the Republic of Korea. You had a price
on your head and you were unwilling to let Saeran pay it. Luckily
this particular matter was not shared with the media, which meant
that at least you didn’t have mugshots of you plastered on every wall
in Korea. It gave you the chance of a clean sleight. Pack your stuff
and disappear without a trace.
Everything had been
perfectly planned on your part. Your things were either packed or
destroyed, your traces were evaporated and you’d made it impossible
for anyone to track or trace your moves. All that was left to do was
take your stuff and leave. It would have been so easy, had you not
underestimated your boyfriends involvement in the down world. You’d
just swung your bag over your shoulder, ready to leave, when he
stopped you in his tracks by leaning against the doorframe, arms
crossed and a disapproving expression on his face. “I cannot
believe that you’d actually leave me like that. Harsh.”
“Saeran, listen, it’s
not like that I can -”, he silenced you then by merely raising his
hand. “Explain? You don’t need to. Codename: MC. Profession: Hitman
and Whistleblower. Hit-Rate: 100%. Prices per hit start at 20.000$ as
you work internationally and your job as a blower earns you about
500.000$ per case as you work in groups of maximum three blowers at
the time to earn as much as possible”, he recited all your info
like a poem he’d learned off by heart. Your shoulders sagged, bag
falling to the floor as he grinned at you. “Did you really think I
You honestly couldn’t
believe that all this time he knew of your shady doings and said
absolutely nothing. You closed the distance between the two of you
and started punching at his chest, causing him to break out laughing.
“You goddamn asshole! I was carrying the guilt of keeping it a
secret every single day and you knew all along! I can’t believe you”,
you half scolded, half laughed. He caught your hands eventually,
holding them together and raising them to his lips to press a kiss to
your skin. “Well, that is the price you pay for keeping it a secret
in the first place.”
You probably should have
been more concerned about the fact that your boyfriend wasn’t even
mildly concerned with the fact that you were basically a murderer
rather than the fact he’d teased you with having known all along, but
frankly there wasn’t a single care in you. “I am also mad that I
had to pay for all our dinners. I mean look at the fucking money you
make. Don’t expect me to treat you to anything ever again”, he
joked and however inappropriate it might have been to say such
things, you burst out laughing. “Fair enough, I guess. Then again,
I do work hard for that money.”
His lips curled into a
wicked grin, eyes shining with something dark and mischievous. “If
they caught you, you still have a lot to learn.” Just from the way
he said it a hot shiver ran down your body and you moved closer,
returning that very same grin. “And I presume that you’re going to
teach me?” As you spoke your lips were almost touching, so close
you could feel the proximity. Instead of replying Saeran merely
pulled you closer, nails digging into your hips as he pushed you up
against the wall. He claimed your lips with a kiss then, hard,
passionate and bruising.
Your hand hit across his cheek, the sound so loud the entire room went silent.
Zen’s head was tilted to the left, the print fresh on his face. There was a surprised look in his eyes, woven together with betrayal but most of all - acceptance.
He swallowed carefully. The tension was so thick he could have slid a knife through it like butter. Your hands trembled at your sides as the silence remained. Neither of you attempted to break it, but it would have to be broken, and quickly. The malice in the air was climbing too fast, and if it wasn’t stopped could lead to something drastic.
Zen broke first.
“Y-Y/N.” He took a slow, shaky breath. “I-”
“Don’t you dare say another word,” you said lowly. His fuchsia eyes stared back, shimmering like glass with emotions that seemed to be on the brink of overflowing. Your fists dug nails into your palms. Your anger was not unbridled, screaming in rage. Instead you kept calm, keeping it on a leash as your steady voice rang clear and through.
And yet that was even more terrifying.
“I will not repeat myself,” You started, keeping your chin levelled, looking every part put together. You were strong. You would not be a wimp over this.
“I-” Zen started, only to wince as you grabbed his tie, dragging him down so that you could see him eye to eye. This distance use to make your heart flutter, used to make your mind run wild and butterflies to rush your nerves. Now all it did was tickle a void in your heart that would never be filled again.
“You made your choice,” You stated. “And so now, your majesty, I would like you to respect mine.”
The crown had been dashed to the floor, and with the way he looked captured by your gaze, it was more like he was the commoner and you were the esteemed queen, an icy glint in your once warm eyes.
“I will never forgive you.”
And he was broken, shattered at your feet.
“We are over.”
Your voice trembled on the last word against your will.
Just like that your cold facade was cut through as well, and Zen spun into motion. His hand moved quicker than you could process, wrapping around your fingers that were still holding onto his tie. Though the position hadn’t changed, the power clearly had, his mouth pressed into a firm line.
Then again, you could never fool Zen. He knew you too well. He always did.
“Don’t go.” The sentiment was simple. You squeezed your eyes shut, summoning all the courage that had suddenly left you the moment his skin made contact with yours.
You breathed in that familiar scent once more, of mint and cologne, for the final time.
“I can’t,” You opened them. “No after what you did. Not with her.”
You let go, losing contact with cold fingers that used to be so warm. And he knew that you were gone from his grasp, though you were only a reach away. Gone forever.
“We are over, Zen.”
The only sound left was the white noise of the quiet knocking at your skull.
Then uproarious applause.
“That was amazing!”
You blinked, feeling someone barell into you and smoosh your cheeks. You shook yourself out of the character’s persona, a grin spreading across your face.
“Great job you two!” The director interrupted your friend’s praise. There was a serene smile lifting his lips. “I didn’t expect you to act it so well the first time around. That was a masterpiece.”
You felt your cheeks pink, coughing into your hand. “It’s nothing.”
“I disagree,” A drawl came from your left as the crew set and everyone began to clear out the room. ”It definetely was something.”
You cocked your hip. “Was it, now?”
Zen whined, hand still cupping his cheek. “You didn’t have to hit me that hard.”
You shrugged. “The director said to perform like we were on stage. So I did.”
“It still hurt though,” He mumbled underneath his breath as the two of you were left alone. You snickered.
Zen rolled his eyes, leaning closer and sending another rush of heat to your face. His lips landed on your nose and you sighed in slight content.
“You’d never really do that would you?” You asked lowly, almost indecipherable. Zen hummed in confusion, pressing his forehead to yours, both your eyes closed.
You whispered again in clarification. “You know…”
“Cheat?” Your fellow actor asked, his voice tinged with amusement. You coloured more, pulling away in embarrassment. However a hand at the back of your neck stopped any more planned movement.
You peeked an eye open only to see bright ones staring right back at you. Zen smiled but the playfulness left his expression as he spoke again. “I would never cheat on you, Y/N. I already gave you my everything.” A firm kiss was pressed to your forehead before his eyes flicked to your lips. “I’m in love with you.”
You lunged forward and captured his lips with yours before he could. You tried to hold back your grin but couldn’t, and ended up splitting the kiss because of it.
Zen had a blush of his own, staring at you in a daze before he broke out of it. He averted his gaze, pulling his tie a bit to loosen it and slowly biting his lip, drawing the flesh into his mouth.
You laughed, pressing the heel of your hand to your smile. “I love you too you dork.”
Your suit hcs just killed everyone, so I was thinking.... what if you made formal wear hcs for the girls? Would that be possible? My gay ass is thirsty. Completely okay if you don't want to, though, or if you just can't imagine it. Just an idea. :)
Ladies clothing is a whoooole new can of worms. May you quench your thirst. ;D

Kiyoko. [Elie Saab]
Long, plum velvet that falls to slightly below her ankles. The dress is a long, thigh high split dress with a staggering deep-v neckline that resembles two pieces of fabric falling forwards and being belted around her slim waist with an elegant twist of the cloth. Splits both below and above, this dress is reminiscent of a toga-style, bare backed and embellished with large crystal brooches the shape of bird feathers and other sequins and diamonds clustered around her left shoulder and her right hip. A pair of bare, strappy metallic sandals of around four inches complete her look.
This look is all Kiyoko. Her style, her choice and her favourite colour, this dress, although baring a lot, covers without fear any part that isn’t commonly seen. It glides around her like waves due to the reflectiveness of dark velvet, and the cutting wraps around her making her as slim and mysterious as willow.
By far, this isn’t the only thing she thought of wearing. Because of her milky skin and slim figure, she can almost wear anything at all and bring it to its potential.
However, for an evening affair and among such close friends, she chose fashion and elegance over making a statement or being too eye-catching. Perfect for her personality.
Her black hair is left in waves behind her back. Slightly curled and not too long, they cascade past her shoulders and swirl around the base of her neck, adding to her striking profile.
Truth be told, she rather dislikes having her hair up. With her jet black hair and stern expression, people usually assume that she’d wear something austere, but she much prefers to let loose.
There is minimal product in her hair, except for the heat curling and a setting spray. It looks far too shiny for anything else to tamper with the smoothness of her hair tonight.
She doesn’t touch the dance floor at all, despite being asked multiple times by multiple men, she declines them all politely. Preferring to spend time with her team and catch up with other managers that she’s become friends with, she nurses a single martini for the whole evening and enjoys the relatively relaxing mood of the jazz band.

Zen looked in the direction MC was facing.
Sure enough, a man walked towards him, but the emotion on his face was not the eager

didn’t laugh along, her smile dropped.
“He is my brother.”
heard MC mutter something about getting Jumin as his brother got closer. Zen swallowed, his throat dry. The years have been kind to him, the few wrinkles and
gray hairs didn’t mask him enough that Zen didn’t recognize him anymore.

The bored gaze

Just as Zen
opened his mouth to respond, he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder and Jumin showed
up beside him. Speaking of the devil. Only now did Zen realize he had been
gripping his sleeve and let go, his fingers hot from pressure.

was so serious, so unmoving; Zen knew right away he was angry, hiding it under

Seon complied, hurrying away from the two of them. Zen watched the former man
