the lonely stoner

Hi there, I'd like to know what's the best literature that you've ever read of all??

Don’t know why your question reminded me of this. :D

Okay, the “best literature that [I’ve] ever read of all” is as follows:

a) The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Milan Kundera. Beautiful, unsentimental book with the perfect blend of historical backdrop, plot, and brilliant prose. You feel smarter after having read Kundera.
b) Stoner, John Williams. I just read this last month, and it’s amazing. Prose so clear that it seems a windshield wiper has run across the lens of your life. A book that teaches us how to die.
c) The English Patient, Michael Ondaatje. After reading the book, you’ll swear the story was told in images. It gets better with each subsequent read.
d) The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Carson McCullers. Sadness has never been more beautiful.

I’d love to hear answers from my followers. :)
