The Kenzaki Theory

How the hell is Kenzaki in ever Tres Spades hotel whenever he is needed?

Totally not inspired by Avatar The Last Airbender.

Joo Dee = Kenzaki

Just a little funny thing I’ve had stuck in my head for a while.

Sitting in the penthouse lounge in London, the auction managers, minus Eisuke, all seemed to have the same thought at the same time. They watched as Kenzaki bowed to Eisuke before leaving and all frowned.

“I just had a thought.” Baba began once Kenzaki left, “How is it, that Kenzaki is in every Tres Spades?”

“I thought I was the only one!” Ota breathed a sigh of relief after hearing he wasn’t the only one confused about Kenzaki.

“Do you like, transfer him to whatever hotel you’re at? Because even if you’re in Japan for a week, Kenzaki is there, and he’s here when you come back.” Baba continued. Eisuke’s face didn’t change as he sipped his coffee.

“He’s almost as confusing as the Mad Hatter.” Mamoru added.

“What if he is the Mad Hatter?” Ota suggested.

“He’s not the Mad Hatter.” Eisuke finally said something as he finished his coffee. Realizing he was going to need another cup if he was going to sit here and listen to this nonsense he called Melody up.

“It’s almost like there are multiple Kenzaki’s.” Mamoru said, sounding uninterested.

“Exactly!” Although they were all thinking it before Baba said it, Baba was the most enthusiastic about this topic that had been bothering him.

“There isn’t multiple Kenzaki’s.” Eisuke huffed, starting to get irritated.

“Well then explain how he is everywhere.” Baba demanded.

“And how you get such loyal employees.” Soryu added when Melody entered.

“Coffee?’ Melody asked, glaring at Eisuke when he offered her his empty cup, "I was just here.”

“That was nearly an hour ago.” Eisuke said as she snatched up the cup.

“All this sugar will rot your brain.” She mumbled as she went to make a new cup of coffee.

“You’re getting off topic.” Ota interjected before Eisuke could snap back at her.

“I don’t have to explain Kenzaki to you. He is just a loyal employee, like Melody.” Eisuke said simply.

“Yeah but you don’t sleep with Kenzaki.” Ota said grinning. Eisuke and Melody both glared at Ota. “But if it is that you transfer him wherever you go, he mustn’t have a life.”

“What if he is a robot? That would explain everything!” Baba said.

“Mr. Kenzaki is not a robot.” It was Melody this time who shot down Baba’s idea as she handed Eisuke his coffee, “Why are you even arguing this?”

“Because for all we know Eisuke has a secret underground training facility where he trains clones of Kenzaki to work in each hotel and take over any Kenzaki’s who might not meet his needs.” Soryu said flatly, not meeting anyone’s eyes as everyone’s gaze shot to him.

Baba and Ota burst out laughing, and even Mamoru chuckled a bit, “That’s ridiculous Sor.” Baba managed to say through his laughs. He stopped however when he looked up and saw Eisuke. His arms were folded and he was grinning at Soryu.

Soryu met his gaze and grinned back, “You can’t hide anything from me Eisuke.” He said making Eisuke laugh shortly.

“Wait! So Soryu was right!?” Ota and Baba exclaimed, shocked.

“Now I never said that.” Eisuke said sipping his coffee.

Eisuke hated coming here. It was always so damn hot, even with air conditioners running. But, sometimes he just had to so he could check on the progress.

“What’s the verdict?” Eisuke asked looking over at Kenzaki beside him.

“Fourteen failures, six successful and ready when needed.” Kenzaki said making Eisuke nod.

“Good. Could be better but at least I have some.” Eisuke looked back over the railing to the rows of lined up men below, all bearing the same face and voice as the Kenzaki beside him. Nodding approvingly at his small army of Kenzaki’s, he looked back at the one beside him, “So do you think we could make another Soryu?”

Some Angelus aesthetics and garb. Even the mannerisms and postures match him, I think. Each image matches a scene from the story. They are not in chronological order of events:

First image: when he’s in the bedroom of the first home where he, Dru, and Spike resided in in London;
Second: lounging in the parlour after Liz and Maurizio leave, leaving Spike, Dru, and him alone;
Third: at Pierre’s party. Dru is taking him away for a dance;
Fourth: Angelus leaving that night to return to the manor;
Fifth: family night out with Liz and Spike- this is when the boys watch her kill a man;
Sixth: Angelus waiting in the vestibule for the rest of his crew so they can leave for the party;
Seventh: A scene that’s yet to happen in one of the future chapters (sneak peek!)
