the little black coffee cup

Art of Living (Plot)

I’m going to probably revisit this one day as a real fic, but right now, I don’t believe in myself at all to get this thing done. I really liked this idea and didn’t want it to die, so here is the plot in its entirety with snippets of writing that just couldn’t come together. Hold onto your pants, this is going to get long.

Basically, it’s a Soulmate!AU where injuries can get shuffled off to your soulmate. A Reaper x Reader.

they were passing through regents park on the way home and sat down for a little bit of lunch (that’s a wrap in john’s hands)

based off this quote sort of:

One day in early spring he had so far relaxed as to go for a walk with me in the Park. For two hours we rambled about together, in silence for the most part, as befits two men who know each other intimately.

The events following the discovery of the recipe book/journal seemed to move in a fast motion that Emma could barely keep up with. Her mind too tangled with the fact that whomever had left it, had been at her home. On her porch. On her steps. Waltzed right up to the front door and deposited what was supposed to be an insanely helpful piece of evidence. But what Emma found, as she dove deep into the final years of Moira Jones’ life, was that the answers she was looking for would not come so easily.

Hi! So, I would love it if you made some Hajime headcanons (seriously, he is my favorite character and there is so little content for him! That's a shame...) And, just curious, who is your favorite character from Nanbaka? :З

here you go!

·       He probably had a bowl cut when he was younger.

·       He loves cheesy old action mystery pulp movies, and got the “cool and threatening” persona that he uses on Momoko from there

·       Outside of work, he dresses like a total dad.

·       In general Hajime is a total dad: he never understands trends, his jokes are so lame and he tries to watch out for people often

·       Hajime is literally the ideal husband who helps around the house. He’s used to doing chores (living alone and having to clean at nanba) so he’s grown to be pretty good at it.

·       Although he doesn’t gravitate towards them himself, he enjoys watching cute romcoms with his S/O

·       Hajime’s hobby is gardening. He has a pretty impressive garden back home and tries to have small houseplants at Nanba.

·       Loves coffee a little too much. Like, 3 cups of black coffee every morning type of love. He would totally buy one of those super-fancy coffee machines with the pods.

as for my favorite character, I’d say it was Samon Goku. He’s really cute and i really like the style of comedy they use for his scenes and his general charqacter.

Your name: submit What is this?

”Hey, there she is!” Sam said happily as you came into the kitchen.

”Meh,” you groaned as you shuffled into the kitchen. You dragged your way over to the big island in the middle and sat down heavily on a stool next to Dean.

He looked at you sideways, his mouth turning up the tiniest bit in amusement. “How’s it going sunshine?”

You rubbed your hands over your face. “Stop,” you murmured. “Ugh.” You leaned your chin heavily on your hands, propped up by your elbows. Dean chuckled a little gruffly at you and turned back to his cup of black coffee.

Sam was watching you with his brow mildly furrowed. “Hmm. Happy Valentine’s Day, Y/N,” he said simply, bringing over a cup of steaming coffee and setting it down in front of you.

Your eyes widened and you looked up at him. “Oh shit. That is today isn’t it… That’s great.” Dean chuckled again beside you. “What?”

He raised his hands defensively, but still laughed a little to himself. “Nothing. Nothing,” he said. He paused. “It’s just—don’t act like you didn’t know what today was…” he trailed off, laughing again. You narrowed your eyes at him suspiciously and looked at him for a long moment, before you turned back to the cup of coffee Sam had brought over for you.

”So, maybe I was trying not to remember.” You took a sip of coffee and sighed in contentment, wrapping your fingers around the mug. “Ah, sweet nectar of life,” you said dramatically, looking at the dark liquid. “Thanks, Sam.” He cocked a half-smile at you.

”No problem.”

”Hey where’s Cas?” you asked, looking around behind you. “Don’t tell me he has fat, flying baby duty today or something…” Dean and Sam were both staring at you with weird looks. “What?” you shrugged. “Cupids? …Geez, come on guys. Did your appreciation of my sense of humor vanish overnight?”

”Eh, there never was much appreciation to start with,” Dean teased, giving you an instigating smile.

You reached over next to you and pinched his arm.

”Hey! Oww!” he laughed and Sam shook his head in amusement at the two of you. He pushed your hand away and you grinned at him.

”Cas will be here. He had something to do quick this morning,” Sam said. “What do you want to do today?”

You sighed and grabbed a hold of your mug again. “Let’s see… what does a single girl want to do on Valentine’s Day? Well. I suppose just about what I do every other day,” you said.

”I was gonna take a drive later if you want to come,” Dean offered.

Sam nodded. “Yeah. Or if you’d rather just hang out here, I was thinking we could rig up that projector in the library and finally go through some of the old movies that are lying around here.”

You were about to respond when the familiar sound of soft rustling behind you caught your attention. You turned to see Cas standing in the doorway behind you, smiling at you as your turned toward him.

”Hey Cas,” you said brightly.

”Y/N,” he said happily.

”We were just talking about what to do today,” you said.

”I have a suggestion,” Cas said, with a smile you couldn’t quite read.

What do you want to do?

Go for a drive with Dean.
Stay in with Sam.
See what Cas wants to do.

This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had I’m screaming.

Mocha oats-
Place ½ cup (or however much you please) into a sauce pan. Toast oats until they turn a little golden brown! Brew a small cup of strong, black coffee, add it to the saucepan & oats, then add almond milk (or any other plant based milk). Cooooooook and keep stirring!
Then I turned the heat off and added coconut sugar (a few tablespoons), cacao powder and chia seeds and stirred it all through.

Toppings - organic peanut butter (100% roasted peanuts, no nasty additives), hazelnuts, strawberries, cacao nibs.

They are soooo gooey, dessert for breakfast??
