Flashback: Conan O'Brien and The Legally Prohibited Tour
On April 29th, 2010, I had the chance to see Conan O'Brien live in San Diego at the San Diego Civic Center as part of his Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television comedy tour. Two years later, it still stands as one of the greatest nights in my life. I went with my sister and scored some sweet seats in the Orchestra section. I even made a poster (which I was terrified to show during Conan’s “Groupie Cam” part of the show) that was signed by most of the band (minus La Bamba) and by Team Coco Blogger Extraordinaire Aaron Bleyaert.
(If you would like to see the videos I recorded from the show, check out my YouTube channel. Warning: I am in Fan Girl Mode for most of the videos; watch out for loud screaming and squealing.)
It’s hard to imagine that it’s been two years since then and it’s quite amazing to see how much has happened. I’ve met so many people and have done so much. It’s funny on how a tall red-headed comedian can bring so many of us together in the Internet. I may have mentioned this in the past, but Conan’s quote, “Work Hard, Be Kind” has been my daily mantra and has been very influential in my life. Thank you all so much for your support and I hope everyone keeps on striving for what they want in life. Go Team Coco!! :D
