Socks finished! Also my new needles have arrived, the only thing I don’t like is the plastic case the come in. I will be leaving socks aside for a while, I’m planning some new beanies and mittens designs…
She could count on one hand the number of times she had been angry with Gray-sama… twice. Once, when he left all his clothes out in the yard overnight and she found them the next day in a soggy heap under her feet.
Truth be told, she couldn’t truly remember why she was so angry, except that she knew for sure that it was for a very good reason. She had been upset since that morning, with the way he said whatever it was he said… and now here she was, in the living room, tossing her knitting project back into the basket.
“Juvia…” his voice came from the kitchen, and try as she might Juvia did not want to look at him. She kept her eyes glued on the wall in front of her.
Gray-sama, it appeared, had other plans. His torso appeared before her eyes, causing her to jump.
“I did the dishes.” he wasn’t looking at her, but there was a blush high on his cheeks. “Sorry. About earlier.”
“Juvia already forgot what she was angry about.”
Gray’s face fell. “Seriously?”
She laughed. “Juvia can never stay mad at Gray-sama. But thank you for doing the dishes!”
This pattern was in a Finnish craft/lifestyle magazine “Koto living”, the idea is very simple: use your scrap yarn to make a big yarnball and knit awesome mix of stripes! The socks are called “surprise skein socks” and they even included labels to cut out and make a skein for a friend! I actually gave one as a christmas present :) These are by far my most used socks!
